hey remember that black butler s1 episode about the ice sculpting competition where sebastian got jealous that someone else made undertaker laugh??
did we all just forget that this violent, bloodthirsty, self-proclaimed emotionless beast got so upset about undertaker finding someone else hilarious, and realising he wasn't needed to make undertaker laugh this time. i can't stop thinking about this

I've come to the conclusion that if I have to pick between fun and happiness or studying math, I'll always pick fun and happiness. Therefore, I'm taking the choice out of my hands! No fun and happiness for me for the next three weeks, while I prepare myself for another exam that might change my life.
I'll be back after the 23rd! You guys take care. <3

finally actually finished signalis (i immediately quit the game after the fake ending thinking that was it bc i'm a coward when it comes to horror games, but wanted to know what the story was actually about so i watched a breakdown. didn't think i'd be that interested but was hooked within five minutes. watched the whole thing and realised i never properly finished it. put off finishing it and watched more videos) omflllll this game is insane. it's so quickly become one of my favourite games of all time, like a game hasn't deeply impacted me and made me feel so much since i first played nitw back in 2020

Wibbly wobbly timey-wimey thoughts on 'The Giggle' because OH MY GOD
(spoilers under the cut!)
The speed at which I screamed "GOOD OMENS!" when we started in Soho (also, was that the same magic shop that Az & Crowley went to? I'm just gonna say that it is for my own enjoyment lol)
Not the Doctor and the Toymaker calling out the human race β they were spitting facts fr
Oh the Spice Girls performance was so unnerving but also so fun??? Seemed like Neil Patrick Harris in his element π
As soon as they entered the Toymaker's place I KNEW they should've held hands they got separated again!! And Donna pulling out the mother persona on the creepy dolls yes queen π
Ohh but the Toymaker's puppet show was so rude how dare he (the angst potential though my gosh)
The way I gasped when the 14th got lasered I was heartbroken I thought: "No way he can't not finish the episode that's not fair!"
I was so glad that he wasn't going to regenerate alone this time though (and the energy was so soft and so pretty??). BUT THENβ
HE FREAKIN' DID IT AGAIN! His last word was going to be Allons-y and he faked us out! AGAIN. I screamed at the tv so hard man
physically felt my heart sink when the regeneration energy came back and then it absolutely soared when the 15th came out of him and then they separated into two! (he's regenerated into 2 people twice now. David Tennant I applaud you)
I love Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor already???? The 15th is so warm and open??? The way he bonded with the 14th (& Donna) immediately??
Donna and 15 supporting 14 up on that building and 15 just cradling and kissing 14?? The ultimate self-care<3
THAT HAND AND THE RING IS SUS!
The reason this face came back is so that he can come home??? This whole scene w/ 15 telling 14 that they need to stop, they deserve to rest, to go slow and steady and Donna bringing him home, what they've always been heading towards β I think I could write so much more on this once I've gotten in a rewatch but WE SO WON I TEARED UP
THE. TWO. TARDISES?? 15's having a jukebox (we vibin'). Also The Doctor finally seeing what the TARDIS looks like when it flies off lol
THE LUNCH. HE'S ROSE'S UNCLE. HE'S SHAUN'S BROTHER-IN-LAW. HE'S PART OF THEIR FAMILY. OH MY GODS THIS IS EVERYTHING β€οΈβ€οΈ(ΰ²₯οΉΰ²₯)
15 looks so excited! Like it's a fresh start!

In my SGA watch-through I finished "The Intruder" and then jumped ahead to season 4 (bc i missed Carter and Todd) so I'm back to continue season 2 now. I picked up with "Runner" and WOW this is a really good episode!?
First of all, I always forget that Lorne is such a sassy bitch. Right out of the gate he has NO patience for science of any flavor (a position he theoretically holds constant on through "Remnants").
(There's also a scene at about 5 min, where Sheppard runs up a few steps before turning to talk to Caldwell, just so he can have the high ground on their confrontation and I love it.)
But there is so much in here I never really paid attention to before that sets up Ford and Ronon as narrative foils.
Ford is fleeing his friends in search of Wraith. Ronon is fleeing the Wraith in search of friends. Ford is alone to protect himself; Ronon forgoes the company of others to protect them.
Ford is so utterly convinced of his own correctness in his theory of persecution he doesn't actually hear a thing McKay says to him, while Ronon (who has actually been persecuted) is so eager to believe everything Sheppard and Teyla tell him that he actually gives them a chance. Ford is obsessed with the shortcut advantage of the enzyme giving him increased strength and wants to use it to "create a whole army of supermen"; Ronon has fantastic strength and combat abilities he got the hard way.
Ford says getting the enzyme is "the best thing that ever happened to me"; the next scene is Ronon having a flashback to when not-quite-dying of Wraith was the worst day of his life.
Ford accuses McKay of giving up on his friends when it seems rather obvious that Ford is the one who has given up on letting his friends help him; and then Ronon, having just undergone surgery without anesthesia where he allowed someone to help him, tackles Ford to the ground because he's not going to give up on these people he just met.
In the end of the episode though, both Ford and Ronon are unable to return home.
