Oooh, open ask box! I have a request please! I just started Haikyuu and it turns out everyone’s a lot shorter than I thought lol, so could you please write some Karasuno HCs about the boys with a 6’0 partner? Any characters you’d like!

Ooh, this is really cute! I hope you don’t mind that I picked and chose a few faves so this post didn’t get super long, if you’d like any of the others please feel free to request them!

Azumane Asahi:

Asahi’s height: 6’1″

He really enjoys that you two are the same height! People are much less likely to butt in thinking he’s some sort of creep if you aren’t a solid foot shorter than him like a lot of other girls are.

Sometimes he gets a teeny bit self-conscious that maybe you’d prefer to be with someone who was significantly taller, who could rest their chin on the top of your head cutely and stuff like that. He never dwells on it though, he appreciates not having to stoop down so far to kiss you.

Once he’s a bit more comfortable in the relationship, on occasion he’ll quietly tease you about him still being taller, and if you’re going to catch up to him or not.

Nishinoya Yuu

Nishinoya’s height: 5′3″

UMM, are you an Amazonian? A model? An angel sent from heaven just for Noya? Cause he definitely stares at you like you’re one. He’s always full of over the top comments on how glamorous and gorgeous and sexy you are step on him please.

Noya has a thing for long, pretty legs and not one can take that away from me. Wear a tight pair of shorts or a cute skirt to really get him revved up.

Will loudly and dramatically lament about him not being able to kabedon you or get things off of high shelves for you, but will turn into a blushing, blathering mess if you do it to him.

Hinata Shouyou

Hinata’s height: 5′4″

First time he meets you he just stares. He can’t help it. You’re just so tall. You’d probably be a great middle blocker, if you were interested in volleyball. He immediately asks if you are interested in volleyball.

Kiss him right on the top of his fuzzy little head and his brain will turn to mush, unable to do anything other than giggle dumbly and stare at you with a sweet, dopey expression.

Insists he can grab things for you, even if you can already reach them. Granted, he can, with that jump of his. But usually it ends with him stumbling and knocking something over in the meantime. The two of you don’t talk about the ‘convenience store incident.’ Bad times.

Yamaguchi Tadashi

Yamaguchi’s height: 5′10″

Silently bummed that he’s still a little bit shorter than you. Not that it’d be a big deal if you were shorter than him or anything, there’s just this little prickle of boyish pride for him about it, some equivalent of being taller and being able to look after and protect you or something a little silly like that.

He’s on the taller side of the volleyball team (and probably most of his classmates) so he didn’t realize until now how much he subconsciously looked down to talk to people. He gets really embarrassed when he looks over to talk to you and realizes he’s usually staring somewhere around chest height. He doesn’t mean anything by it, he swears!

Easy to fluster. If you kabedon him or grab stuff off of high shelves he turns so red you can barely see his freckles anymore (he really likes it, though.)

Headcanons for Tanaka if you'd like? Idk, what does he like besides volleyball... how's his home life. .. also, do you ship him with anyone?

Tanaka Ryuunosuke

• Ryuu actually really likes paddleboarding! Once he was at the beach with Saeko and both of them took Paddle boarding lessons and he fell in love with it. He wants to go to the beach to try it again!

• Both him and Saeko put the money to buy a paddleboard

• He also likes badminton! He thinks he has the reflexes and speed to play it but he does rather poorly “hey it’s because I haven’t had enough training!”

• Both his dad and mom are working overseas so he only has seen them very little, when it’s Christmas mainly.

• Okay but his parents actually watched the shiratori match and after the game he got a call and it was from them saying how proud they were of him and how good he played and he will forever deny that he burst out crying

• (His parents of course are watching the nationals)

• He once dyed his hair when he was little to the blonde color Saeko has (ryuu’s hair was more light blonde than hers) and it came out a mess™ he had to wait until the color faded

• Saeko has a special day where it’s just sister-brother bonding and Ryuu looks forward to it so much! Even if he complains he doesn’t want to go he’s lying

• Tanaka has had a crush on women taller than him, he has a thing for amazonian women (he just busts a nut-)

• He and Yuu spend a lot of time with each other in their respective homes, they’re there so much that they have clothes lying around and no one bats an eye

• Ryuu buys his sister stuff he has seen she likes but doesn’t have, she does the same

• He does the dishes and cleans up the table while his sister cooks and cleans the house. He also cleans the yard but that’s with Yuu’s help since it’s more fun

• Tanaka doesn’t really have that many friends aside from the volleyball team, since people don’t like him that much with how loud and aggressive he is

• (I made myself sad)

Sp I started to think about Amazonian Yuu. Like their 7'6" and tower over everyone. They take pride in beign very VERY strong.

So when they went through the ceremony doors everyone's eyes bugled out.

Riddle feels like a fucking child next to them. Azul feels very intimidated. Bc holy shit someone's taller than the twins-

When Grim went off and burn this Yuu ran at him very fast and tackled him when they got up they apologized "I'm sorry for the cat thing but he's not mine but I do apologize for the damage." Crowley was shocked but made them go to the mirror.

When the mirror said they had no magic they scoff "Tch magic? Please I have more strength than anyone in this room." Most of Savanaclaw took that as a challenge the other dorms side want to intervene.

When they meet Ace they stepped in front of Grim "Excuse me but if you would shut the fuck up that would be good right now yes?" Ace looked up and up then saw Amazonian Yuu. When they went off against Riddle Yuu did follow the rules but ended up telling Riddle he acted like a tryant. "And when I'm from Tryants we're beheaded. Then burned." Yuu told him Riddle took this as a threat. But Yuu was just tryignt o tell them hey stop or everyone's gonna hate you! When Riddle tried to fight Yuu got infront of anyone who was going o get colored because it disappeared when it went to them because ahhahah no magic!

After the Fight Yuu helped Riddle calm down and then said "LETS HAVE A FEAST WITH STRAWBERRY TARTS! whatever that it." Riddle learned how to let loose.

When they got in a fight with those students in the cafeteria Yuu got to them before they could hit them with a spell "Now scram!" They ran off.

They told Trey I'll avenge you and ran off, Trey was very confused them Grim explained and he laughed. They were gonna get Ruggie but he scurried off. When they did meet Jack they nodded at his workout routine "Very good. But try this-" and gave him tips. Jack was happy to have someone to talk work out routines with. But when Jack said oh I'm a lone wolf. Yuu put his hand on his shoulder "Even I had to work with my brothers and sisters. And even when I fought in the mines I had Ace, Deuce, and Grim help me." Jack nodded and agreed to help.

When they confronted Leona and Ruggie Yuu got close to them. Leona then admitted and then hurt Ruggie but Yuu punched him and grabbed Ruggie. Yuu looked down on him "That is no way to treat comrades!" Yuu got fired up because betrayal was a bug no no for them. Leona then went into overbloat. Thye fought and Yuu got punches in. When they got him to come back Yuu yanked him from the ground. "It's ok to feel like Second best." They whispered "I felt like that too, with my (whoever) O always tried to best them but revised I am good at things their not. And I used those as my sources and I was given Title of Cheif." Leona nodded.

When it was the Magic disk game Yuu was able to catch the disk and score a goal but then a different disk hit them in the neck causing them to pass out. When they finally did wake and saw everyone they were happy they scored a point but sad they got knocked out "I guess I need to train more near the mountains."

When Azul asked them to go get the photo and Yuu scoffs saying "I only need an hour be right back." And got into the Museum, also they fought off Flpyd and Jade, then sprinted to Azul where he overbloated.

Amazonian Yuu: *seeing Azul in his octopus form* I CHALLENGE YOU-

Azul: wait no-

Yuu was able to defeat him.

When book 4 happened they help everyone with the training. And even carried most of the students as extra weight. Kalim liked this and asked for piggy back rides and they did so. But Kalim mood 'switched' they got in his face and demanded a duel. Jamil had to calm them down, also when Jamil got them the first time with Snakes whisper Yuu noticed and waited for him to try again and make it seem like they were tricked "HA Medusa was better than you!" (Still sadly not at the part where he overbloated) but Yuu fought him blindfolded.
