Liveblog
Man Emblue Sparks did their own art! How can I top this?
His beloved Imperium Innocentia never ceased to fill him with wonder, and yet as of late, he'd begun to feel a worrisome unease when visiting. The loyal ferrymen were paid handsomely to usher his precious souls from there to the shores of Elysium and Asphodel Meadows. Neither Castiel nor Gabriel had reported any bumps in the proverbial road, so that couldn't be the source.
To be honest I am rather confused.
The realm was fiercely protected by thousands of wardings and enchantments. His rambunctious rescues were all squeals and delight as their tender souls regained the sweet innocence lost, as was the realms purpose. However, when visiting recently, his grace sensed...not a presence really, but a watchfulness. As if some all seeing eye was casting itself upon it.
So a place in the Scottish highlands is the first circle of hell where all the unborn or unbaptized babies are? Wait Crowley has GRACE? So confused.
Perhaps she'd care for some tea..or Craig? No, no scotch wouldn't do, how would that appear? Lovely to make to your acquaintance. May I invite you into my home for strong spirits on a whim?
I mean I wouldn’t say no, but I am drunk so what are you going to do.
He'd longed to ask her why she felt so familiar. Why in her presence he felt they might have been from another time altogether. A far away memory tiptoed on the edges of recollection just out of his mind's reach. Crowley would spend untold hours in contemplation, opening his mind in hopes the memory in which he sought might emerge from its shy shell and present itself. Alas, to his disappointment, none had stepped forward to claim that missing piece of neurological real estate thus far.
Wow, this is some kind of poetry.  Okay there are some major spoilers so I won’t post any more for this chapter. But I want to read more. There are like layers here man.
Chapter Two Notes: Because I cannot abide the logic surrounding Eileen's absence in the finale. Every actor is entitled to their opinion, as are we, the fans. Though I disagree with Jared, I'll defend his right to express his thoughts. But seeing as how this is my interpretation of this pairing, I'm giving Sam and Eileen this ending I feel they deserved because this handling of the finale among other things had me livid.
Ooops, I have not watched the last season. Oh well.
And yet for Sam, the fates had been so unkind. For as his son grew and garnered a beautiful life of his own, one he happily shared with none other than Castiel Fitzgerald, his memory of Eileen began to fade. Once Dean Jr had realized it was happening, he'd prayed.
Dean Jr. and Castiel Fitzgerald are together and Sam is losing his memories.  Bittersweet!
"Dean is well, although he misses you. We're happy, he and I. Eileen as well. I've heard your son's prayers. He fears you'll forget her due to your memories' condition. You sustained many concussions throughout your life. She grows..blurry for you, does she not?"
Yeah Sam got hit in the head a lot!
Without warning, Jody walks into his home.
"Saam?"
He turns his head, stunned. She shouldn't be even be driving anymore let alone-
"Yo!"
Anybody home?" Claire and Kaia both called out as they too enter.
Aww I love these girls. Imagine Old Jody still kicking ass and filled with sass.
"Let's get this party started," Jody suggested, busting a bottle of Johnny Walker Black label from her oversized old lady purse.
               YES!
Chapter 3  It wasn't the first time he'd watched Dean Winchester sleep, nor would it be the last. But he'd paid close attention when overhearing the very true sentiment expressed, "It's just creepy." Since then he'd taken extra precautions not to make the seraph's mistake.
So it’s Dean and someone not Cas.
Dean was as tenacious as any demon,
               It’s Crowley!
They'd had a deliciously rambunctious role in the proverbial hay with triplets earlier that evening.
Yeah I knew they had an orgy!
He began slowly pulling his hand back, so slowly in fact, he hoped it would go unnoticed. However, before it left the warmth of Dean's skin, he felt Dean pointedly grab his hand.
Wow. Yeah. That’s the good stuff.
Chapter 4: You got the job?! Awesome! Well, I knew you would. You're an outstanding accountant," Kevin glowed at his best friend Aaron, whom he'd helped land a position at the same company he worked at.
WOOT KEVIN! I love Kevin. And Aaron.  I can see it.
Kevin had found an outstanding job at "Write Your Own Story," a place kind of like Total Rekall, only no memory sorcery involved. His friend Claire and her wife Kaia had inherited a typewriter from a long lost uncle...Megatron or something like that. They discovered its magic and sought to use it for good but also a career. It was gaining steam, paid the bills, but barely out of the beta phase.
Nice! I dig all of this.
Over the next few weeks business boomed with the coming holidays. People wanted to write those they loved beautiful dreams as gifts. And as Kevin discovered, it was all the ink.
I would love to give someone good dreams.
Get out. I can’t believe you would do something like this. And you used a sacred holiday too..ya know what? Nevermind, I'm late for service, make sure you're not here when I get back."
               Oh NO!
Chapter 5: "We all missed you and mourned you. Just because we'd just met didn't mean we hadn't looked forward to welcoming you into our little family," Jody declared to Kaia as they pulled out from the bunker and started their five hour journey plus change back to Souix Falls.
I have not watched season 15, did Kaia and Claire get a reunion? I think I remember hearing something about Jody and Kaia. How sweet if she got to bring her home.
"I'm not gonna intervene with you two beyond this, but hearing from Sam all these years about how Dean and Cas keep dancing around each other,
               Poor Sam
"It's really you…" the golden lightning in a bottle whispered before slamming into her, squeezing so hard her eyeballs almost popped out.
               Nice
Chapter 6 Sam's crushed on the martial arts instructor at the Men of Letters Academy for a year and finally finds an opportunity to do something about it.
I don’t know what this is.
Sam Winchester had been working at the Letters Academy for all of one year as a Professor of Supernatural History and Lore. Dean had graduated ten years prior and was a field agent with a partner of the celestial variety, Castiel. Sam preferred employment on the educational side of operations and prepared his students well, heavily arming them with the knowledge of what was out there and how to effectively neutralize it, if necessary.
Cool. I am down for this
The instructor had joined the academy's faculty the same time as Sam and to say he had a crush on the guy was putting it mildly. His name was Gadreel, and like Dean's partner,
Man they would make a mightily tall couple.
"Heard Max Banes is working through the ranks of Tai Kwon Do pretty fast. Aces all the tests and assignments in my class. Seems pretty motivated.." Sam tossed out for conversation.
Before Covid I was doing pretty well with Taekwondo. I have not kept up.
"Those are effective, until knocked out of your hand or your mag runs out. Come by sometime, I'll show you some stuff..if you want."
Yeah Ill show you some stuff too. In my pants!
"Private lessons I see, Gadreel. I'd no idea they were on the table. Perhaps we can come to some..arrangement." Sam looked up to see Arthur Ketch standing in the doorway aiming a lascivious grin at Gadreel.
               EWWW. Can we say creepy
It had Sam considering the length of his wingspan.
               Wingspan… Sure

Okay!! Last song!!
Well, I say last song, but it's more like “last song”. There is one more song that I used as an epilogue, but I'm not going to get into that, and honestly if you've listened to 13 tracks without being sold (why would you do that?) one more track isn't going to sell you on it.
And would you look at that, the last song is a reprise of the first song. Wow, it's like Sgt Pepper... that's so cool. Now it makes sense why I didn't bother talking about that first song right? Not planned btw.
This song was one of the first songs I wrote for this album. I said this for a few. Truthfully I did four or so around the same time and they were all great. I had a few more tracks in the oven as well. Everything was going great. I was like “wow this album's gonna be done in no time!” Anyway that was like three or four years ago. I guess that's how these things tend to go.
This is back when I was trying to make a bit more of a straight ahead rock/indie rock sounding album. I'm pretty sure I wrote this song on guitar, lyrics and all, which is honestly (and sadly) pretty rare for me these days. I had this idea for repeated backing vocals and a call/response sort of song structure. I'm pretty sure this more energetic version of the song came first. I originally wanted a sort of Lou Reed feel to it, but once I wrote that groovy dancy bass riff it immediately lost that feel. Once I started recording electric guitars I accidentally did a grungy “brrroww” at the end of the phrase and really liked it. I replicated it throughout the track and in turn lost even more of that Lou Reed feel.
In my original recording process I had a damaged patchcord. I didn't realize it at first because I was trying out some new equipment. I just thought it was really quiet. That being the case, I had to turn it up way loud to get a good volume and that's actually where some of the guitar tone you can hear (mainly in the one playing a melody-line during the chorus) comes from. I actually really liked it, I thought it sounded like Pavement. Actually, my Tiff did too and that's probably the nicest thing she's ever said about any of my music.
At some point I added more guitar tracks to the track to make it sound fuller, and also replace some of the ones recorded with a broken patchcord. I honestly kinda liked the original tracks, which still had a little bit of that 70s glam grittiness to them, but I'm far too neurotic about this stuff to really sit with that. In the end it sounded less 70s and more mid 90s. It had a sound that I've actually been trying to get for a while, though not on this track – the sort of fuzzy swirling guitars with a groovy beat and bassline to it. Tiff described it as being “Like those music videos where everything is blue and everyone's got really baggy pants”, which, again, big compliment. I don't know if that one was actually a compliment, but I'll take what I can get.
The song had its genesis at that same party I mentioned last time. There's nothing specific really. We had my album on and it's got a pretty fun cool first half. The people there were enjoying it, but then it gets to the second half and it's a little bit more mopey. It's also completely sexless and uncool throughout. That being the case, one of the guys there was like
“Sorry Con-dog, the vibes are just not working with this right now,”
and I was like,
“Oh don't worry about it, I understand dude,”
And then he was like, “Right on man. I’m getting fucked vibes from those guys over there. Here, hit this for me.”
And then I did some coke off a Pulp Fiction VHS tape.
I thought to myself, “man it'd be nice to have music that you could put on at a party”. Which basically was the whole idea behind this album, conscious or not. I don't really know if it succeeded, but there's definitely a certain kind of party where this would play, and honestly I don't think I'd mind being at it.
The album was originally going to be more centered around the idea of the character described in this track. I mean, obviously he's me, but I'm trying to detach myself and make things a little more universal. I wanted to explore all the different traits and behaviors that this one person has. Some of them being mine, and some of them being not. Honestly, it didn't really pull through to the end. There's a little bit of that in here, but it's mostly just songs. I'm okay with that. They have some thematic cohesion. It's got this song bookending the album. Wow, it's like Sgt. Pepper.....
The ending is a little bit embarrassing for me because I do a bit of a scream voice, which, honestly I don't think there's anything actively wrong with it, I just cringe when I hear myself doing it because it's like “ah oh god I'm doing that”. I don't know. There's also the fact that, well, one of the things I yell is the word “Wasteman”, which is a little bit of an outdated slang right now, but when I actually recorded the song it wasn't. Whatever, this is an insanely white album from a white kid. I figure a lot of people who enjoy this type of music haven't actually heard that word. I wouldn't have, but I hang out with Tiff's cool friends sometimes. Honestly I think it's a cool term. I think the most embarrassing part though is I copy-pasted it so it repeats twice because I felt like I wanted more intensity. I don't think it's super noticeable, but the idea makes it a little disingenuous. During the outro I wanted to add a little more of that “90s blue and baggy” feel, so I plugged in a keyboard and freaked out on the organ setting. I think it really adds a lot.
The slower version of the song was written afterwards and I actually cheat because it uses some of the same midi tracks. I was super torn between the more exciting sound that I had and my original “vision” for the song, which was a bit more downtempo Lou-Reed inspired. I figured, why not do both?
There's not a whole lot to cover here that I haven't already covered. Mostly the backing vocals, but only because I think I did a worse job with them than the other version. There's nothing outwardly wrong with them per-se, but I think the blend is not good and that's gonna immediately stick out to some people. The middle section just kinda came about because the other version doesn't really have a proper chorus. It just has some guitar noodling. I played around with the chord progression of the middle chorus in the fast version and made something that was a bit more structured, then adapted a melody around it. Harmonies grew out of the melody. I felt like something was missing, so I took that same call and response idea from earlier and applied it here too. I really liked the interplay between the two vocal lines. The “Purify me” line was originally supposed to come up again and again throughout the album. One of the tracks that ALMOST made it would have been the song it was from, and then there would be callbacks to the melody throughout the album. It was kind of like a motif. That was unfortunately completely scrapped and this is the last trace of it. Maybe I'll work the idea into something I do in the future.
I like this song. I realized way too late that it massively rips off The Velvet Underground's Sweet Jane. I guess that “Lou Reed inspired” idea was a little bit too literal. Fortunately I would say the middle section saves it from being too much of a copy. I think it's a good way to start and finish the album. I also like the thematic notions of this album starting with the same track it ends on. Like these things work in cycles and you're never truly free of your own quicksand. Like an Ouroboros eating its own tail, like Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. When one cycle ends, a new begins. The same, but slightly different – until it is completely undermined by the epilogue track that says “no this is actually the end”.
Hey congrats on making it through all of these entries! You may have only read this one, or even skipped to the end. If you did that, disregard that previous sentence and go back to read them. This album was the culmination of a lot of work and thought. 13 of these writeups was nothing compared to probably hundreds of hours spent working on this album, and probably thousands of hours thinking about it. I'm aware few people are reading these writeups, but it's honestly mostly my own indulgence. I gotta decompress this stuff and be free of this album. I can finally get rid of all this useless crap in my brain. I'll probably enjoy being able to go back and read this stuff once I've forgotten most of this, and once I've become a more mature person. I'll probably go “wow this shit is cringe. I can't believe he posted like 22 pages of cringe” but that's okay. The album's okay. I made for certain it was not, in fact, cringe before releasing it. And honestly I enjoyed writing these.
A part of me wants to get back to the freakish pace I had in like 2011 where this blog was nonstop content. I don't think it'd work so well in 2020 Tumblr because who even uses this site anymore? I think it's a little sad because it's pretty much the death of long form posting. Twitter is great because people pay attention to you, but sometimes I just want to write like two thousand words and have some psycho actually read them and respond to it. I think we've lost that on the internet. Sometimes I think of making youtube videos, but I'm no good in front of a camera. Sometimes I wonder, couldn't I just read something like this TO the camera? The answer is no, I can't. That'd be boring. I'm completely convinced nobody would watch that. I sometimes think that if I could add some editing and some visual component though, it'd work out. Some sort of... video essay. Some kind of... man with facial hair and left leaning politics who enjoys media and talks about both... Wow I wonder if that niche has been filled at all?

Hi! It’s the Nova anon! I just wanted to say thanks because the blue line series always makes me feel better when I re-read it. Today my roommate that I’ve lived with since freshman year told me she doesn’t want to live together next year so I was really upset and decided to read the PyeongChang Triple again and it made me really happy. Thanks so much for all of your writing! It’s the best!!
Tumblr media
Oh hai Nova ‘non. I’m so sorry that happened, but I’m glad there was something there to help. Roommates can always be a kind of hit or miss, but I’ve got no doubt you’ll find someone who isn’t only a top notch person, but also has very strong opinions on Jay Wright’s suits and the strength of the Big East as a whole. In the meantime, here’s some hockey fluff for you because it’s the Dad’s Trip for the Rangers this weekend and we should all have feelings:
“He’s trying to organize my locker.”
“He’s having a good time!”
“Nuh uh, I genuinely think he’s losing his mind. He came into the locker room and started examining my stick tape.”
“Well, I mean, you’ve got a ton of stick tape,” Emma pointed out, but that was only met with another groan and the single most ridiculous eye roll she’d ever seen in her life. “This is a good thing.”
“He’s taking this way too seriously,” Killian argued. “This is not the first time Mr. V has been on this trip.”
“It is the first time he’s responsible for two of you, though.”
Killian gritted his teeth, the objection almost obvious on the tip of his tongue from the visitor’s locker room in Florida. He didn’t actually say anything though and Emma shouldn’t have taken some kind of twisted victory in that, but the whole thing was absurdly sentimental and decidedly familial and—
“Ah, that’s true,” Killian sighed. “Although now I seem like kind of a jerk.”
“Nah, you seem like someone who’s questionably worried about his stick tape.”
“It’s an exact science, Swan.”
Emma hummed, eyes flitting towards the half door at the other end of the hall and the two year old who better still be taking a mid-afternoon nap if they were going to last an entire night at the restaurant without any sort of meltdown. “Still asleep,” she mumbled. “Do you think you get, like, super Dad power now? With Mr. V there and your own kid here—what would you call it? Dad squared?”
“That may be a less exact science, honestly.”
“It sounds more impressive than anything to do with stick tape.”
Killian clicked his tongue, fingers finding the back of his hair when he leaned forward slightly. “Lucas said there were half a dozen want to be stories.”
“That doesn’t surprise me. It’s a good story.”
“They should lead with the stick tape part.”
“You’re being difficult on purpose,” Emma accused, mostly so she could work a smile out of him and that was probably a less twisted type of victory. Killian shook his head.
“I’m not. I just—“
“—Scarlet probably wouldn’t want the press.”
“Exactly that.”
And, really, Emma understood – on both fronts, because it was an incredible story and an emotional story, but the last few weeks had been decidedly depressing and Will kept hitting people a little harder than normal, like the loss of everything was only manageable when he was pushing another human being into the boards.
Will had promised he was fine, sworn up and down several different metaphorical posts and, maybe, the actual goal post, just because he could and, possibly, because Ariel kept trying to stage interventions in the hallway of the Garden, but he was an exceptionally bad liar. It was honestly starting to get insulting.
He’d only missed one game – for the wake and the funeral and Will told them not to come. “You guys are on an eight-game point streak,” he’d said. “Don’t fuck that up for me.”
They won the game.
And Emma almost trusted the smile on Will’s face when he got back.
Or she thought she had until, a few days before when Belle had tugged Killian into the corner of the restaurant and there was some murmuring and questions and rocking back and forth on their feet. And Mr. Vankald had agreed enthusiastically – one dad for two hockey kids with slightly depressing backstories and far too many stick tape superstitions.
It was an exceptionally good story.
“Ruby won’t let that see the light of day,” Emma promised. “She can get requests from here to San Jose. It won’t make a difference.”
Killian’s eyebrows jumped. “Was that the farthest city you could think of?”
“Be impressed by my geographic knowledge.”
“Be impressed by stick taping technique.”
She laughed, doing her best to keep the sound as quiet as she could because she really was not trying to deviate from the nap schedule. “Where are they even? Don’t you guys have stuff to do?”
“Probably practicing slap shots somewhere.”
“Ah, is that a note of kid-type jealousy I hear, Cap?”
“Nah,” Killian shook his head, but Emma could hear that lie too. She pursed her lips. “I mean, maybe. No. God, no, actually. Because then I sound like a jerk and this is nice. I just—“
“—Want your stick tape left in the right order?”
He opened his mouth to respond, but there were footsteps coming and Emma had to bite back another laugh when Killian sat up a bit straighter. “You look like you’re about to get grounded,” she mumbled, digging her teeth into her lower lip when he glared at her.
“Not grounded,” Mr. Vankald promised as he moved into the frame. He was wearing head-to-toe blue and a Rangers hat, but there was a ‘C’ on his t-shirt and the tips of Killian’s ears had gone red. “Maybe reprimanded a little. And wondering if he was ever going to come out on the ice.”
Killian blinked. “You guys were on the ice?”
“And waiting for you, Cap,” Will said. He waved at the camera when Killian turned slightly. “Hey, Em. Did he call to say hi to you or just to see if Dr. J was awake?”
“If that kid wakes up in the next forty-five minutes I’m going to walk to Florida and punch all of you in the face. I mean, not you, Mr. V, obviously.”
“Obviously,” he echoed, the hint of a smile tugging at the ends of his mouth. “Very strict nap schedule, huh?”
“He wants to watch the game.”
“Ah, I can’t even make fun of that,” Will groaned, dropping next to Killian.
Emma made a face. “Stop the presses.”
“You’re hysterical.”
“You were making horrible jokes.”
Will shrugged, gritting his teeth when Killian elbowed him in the side and mumbled something that sounded like move, God under his breath. He didn’t move. “Something about a defense mechanism or something.”
“Yeah, I know,” Emma said. She kind of wished she was in Florida. For several different reasons, but partially because she knew Killian had called partially on the off chance that they weren’t following the nap schedule and partially because Will Scarlet wasn’t very good at pretending he was ok.
Mr. Vankald clapped him on the shoulder. And smiled at Emma.
“Why’d you guys come back in here?” Killian asked, working another sound out of Will.
“Cap, are you kidding me? They’re doing some kind of skills thing for the internet and, oh shit, did you come up with that, Em?”
She was going to bite her lip in half. Or possibly just melt under Killian’s gaze. He stared at her with something that felt like disbelief and, maybe, wishing she were in Florida too.
“Swan?”
“Aw c’mon, it’s not a big deal,” she mumbled. “And, yeah, I did. I—well, Rubes and I were talking about promo and they’ve got cooperate sponsors for this now, which is insane and—“
“—Focus, Em,” Will chuckled.
“Shut up. Anyway. They’ve got sponsors and that means more content and a video of you guys teaming up with your dads and trying to score against other guys…well, it made sense. Imagine those clicks.”
“Those clicks,” Killian repeated, and the look got stronger or more something and they all froze when a noise came from the other end of the hall.
“A ridiculous number of clicks. And good internet vibes.”
“Can I make fun of that?” Will asked, Killian already nodding in agreement.
“Shut up,” Emma repeated.
He saluted. And Mr. Vankald started to laugh – quiet at first, with one hand still on Will’s shoulder and only half of him in the camera frame and Emma wasn’t sure where to look, but her eyes kept flitting back to Killian and his slightly red ears and—
“Well, this means I win by default, doesn’t it?” he asked. “I’ve got two kids. One with an incredible wrister and the other with stick-handling skills unparalleled by anyone else in the league.”
“He read that off the team website,” Killian muttered.
“It doesn’t make it any less true. We’re absolutely going to win. Locksley and his dad will be distraught.”
“That’s definitely the spirit, Mr. V,” Will grinned, glancing up with something that felt like almost genuine emotion on his face. Emma looked back at Killian.
He winked.
“Must be a family trait.”
“Something like that,” Emma agreed. “I think that means you guys are guaranteeing goals later. Or at least points. An assist to set up each other? That’s poetic, right?”
“There is no poetry in hockey, Em,” Will argued.
“Isn’t there though? Something about stick handling.”
“Gross. Stop flirting with your husband for two seconds.”
“Was that flirting?”
“I thought it was flirting,” Killian cut in, a flash of a smirk and the tip of his tongue pressed to the corner of his mouth. Mr. Vankald laughed again. “Not our best maybe, but everyone goes through these little ups and downs.”
Will gagged, but then there were more footsteps and Robin shouting get on the ice and a stick, somehow, involved and the whole lot of them were overgrown children with their own children and far too competitive fathers. “Can we go?” Robin asked, nodding back towards the door. “Lucas is screaming about plans and posting times for optimal traffic.”
“She has no idea what she’s talking about,” Emma muttered.
“I’m going to tell her that.”
“You missed my face punching threat, but I’m including you in that too.”
“I’m sure you think that makes sense.”
“Alright, alright,” Mr. Vankald said, waving his hands through the air and Emma didn’t think she imagined the way they all rolled their shoulders back. “Let’s not torture Ruby on purpose. And, really, I think it’s about time we all showed off our skills, don’t you think?”
Emma met Killian’s smile with one of her own.
“Yeah,” Will said quickly, jumping up with an enthusiasm that belied everything that had happened in the last few weeks. “Let’s go shoot at some things. We’re going to totally wreck you, Locksley.”
Robin tilted his head. “That so?”
“You heard him,” Killian nodded. “Totally wrecked. Don’t you think, Swan?”
She winked. Or tried. It got Killian to laugh again. “Best stick handling in the game.”
And the videos did get a ridiculous number of hits across several different social media platforms – trash talk and technique and a perfectly wrapped stick and Emma got her goal and her assist later that night.

Old Flame, New Problems (Part 7)
Prompt: You’re in a serious relationship with Sebastian Stan, when news from your first love informs you that he’s now single and in need of a friend. Will your old flame burn out or will the flames get fanned and consume you?
Word Count: 3602
Warning: language, angst, fighting (verbal), cheating, drama
Notes: This idea came to me when news hit about Hayden and Rachel splitting. Of course I’m sad that a long time relationship such as theirs is ending, but it also means he’s single sooo…Also, no hate towards Rachel. I don’t know her, don’t know what really happened between them, etc. It’s a fic and in no way reflects what I think of either of them or their precious daughter ^.^

“Did you get my gift?” Hayden said into the phone, a smile in his voice.
“Yes! I just got it! I’m going to unwrap the box now!” you said excitedly, sitting it down on the counter along with the huge bouquet of fresh flowers that just got delivered. “Thank you for the flowers, they’re stunning and vibrant.” Hayden laughed in response to your glee. You tore open the packaging, wondering what your LA based boyfriend had sent. Inside was a first edition of one of your favorite books, a new notebook and engraved fountain pen, and a photo of him kissing your cheek on a windy day in the park, framed.
“Oh...Hay, this is so...perfect,” you gushed. “Thank you. I miss you too much.”
“Just a little reminder of how much I love and miss you…”
Back home, everything settled back into the normal pace. Sebastian working, reading lines, going to table reads, and interviews. You, working on your books and your agent working with you on the upcoming promos you would do for the book. The two of you didn’t see a reason to travel for the book tour just yet, and thought it would be best to do two signings a week in NYC at various places. This was good news for you, and for Sebastian. It meant more time together.
However, Hayden had been a constant on your mind since the text. You were worried about him, your other feelings aside, he was your friend, and you knew what he dealt with. It was amazing that Sebastian understood the struggles as well. You had wanted to reach out a few times, of course talking to Seb about it first, but you didn’t want to  push your luck. Yet, as soon as you landed, and got set up in your office, you texted him.
“Hey, things are better between Seb and I. He forgave me and understood the situation. I just wanted to let you know I’m still here if you needed a friend.”
You put your phone down and went to work for a bit. The wait for a response was making you uneasy. Was he ignoring you? Was he mad at you? Was he okay?
But after twenty minutes, you got a reply.
“Nice to see you two resolved everything. I’m really sorry for the problems I caused, Y/N, it wasn’t my intention.”
“It’s fine. Let’s just move forward, okay? How are you holding up about Rachel and Briar Rose?”
“Not too good, honestly. I can’t absorb it. It hurts a whole hell of a lot to not see Briar every day. Rachel...that’s getting easier. We were drifting for a long time...But not seeing my daughter, knowing she’s in LA...thousands of miles away from me, it kills me.”
You read his message, your heart aching for him, wishing there was something you could do.
“I’m sorry. What can I do to help?”
“Nothing you can do.”
“There has to be something,” you tried back desperately.
“You could distract me. Tell me all about your writing news, anything new?”
You leaned back in your office chair, going into full detail about your novella, and your short story, and the news on the book promos. A smile was on your face as you continued to text for the better part of the day. You had practically forgotten all about writing, which was fine since you were well ahead of schedule.
While he and Rachel were together, you had subconsciously started talking less unless until your ritual of the call on the birthdays, text on Thanksgiving, and card on Christmas became normal. But texting him now, laughing and giggling, you remembered how much he made you laugh and made your lighter side come o.
You used to feel so safe with him, so at ease, it was always effortless between the two of you, at least until the strain of distance became too much. Talking to him again brought all of that back, the feeling of being home in a way you never had with anyone else, not even with Seb. But then you remembered that even if Hayden was that for you, you weren’t that to him. He had chosen another woman, someone other than you to create a home with, to start a family with, to share his life with, and that wasn't something you could ignore. It didn't matter what you felt for Hayden, he had made it clear he didn't feel the same, both in his actions and his words.
But that was a different time, a different circumstance. Now it seemed things could be what you had always wanted with him. A quiet, settled down life…That thought alone was enough to ignite that spark within you, that small fire that was hope. Hope for a future with the man you once loved so deeply.
--------------------
Over the course of the next week, the texting and calling stayed constant, talking about random things, about movies, joking around, recalling funny memories and reminiscing. Sebastian didn’t seem to mind that you were pretty much tethered to your phone because he was too preoccupied with work. He had flown out of town about a week and a half ago to do some rehearsals for his new movie.
Sebastian tried to keep in contact but his efforts to reach out were coming further apart. A text in the morning, maybe, and sometimes a call at night, if you were lucky. You texted about a five to one ratio with him. But it wasn’t his fault, it was work, he was pulling sixteen hour days, and you knew that….Didn’t make it suck any less to not see or talk to the man that was away from you for six months only a month and a half ago.
Whoever said distance makes the heart grow fonder could fuck off, because all it did was hurt and worry you. There was nothing fond about the thousands of miles separating you from your boyfriend.
At one of your book signings at Barnes and Noble, you had about fifty people come up for a signing, and the next patron was in line and you slapped on a smile for them. “Hey, how are you today--” you started to ask before you got stopped cold. “Hayden?” you gasped. He hated being out in the public eye, so why the hell was he at your signing? In NYC? With tons of media coverage?
“Hey,” he greeted sheepishly, the boyish smile popping onto his face again, making your heart flutter. He was donning a white shirt, and over it, a deep black military coat, with dark jeans.
“What are you doing here?” you asked, half in a panic, half wishing he could stay. “Don’t tell me you want the book signed,” you teased, glancing down to his hands. He did, in fact, have your book in his hands.
“Actually…” he said, handing it to you.
You rolled your eyes and shook your head. “You’re ridiculous.” Opening the cover, you found a good spot to write, trying to decide what to put in his book. You’d never signed books for anyone you knew other than your family.
To the man who inspired a legacy, thank you for being there for me, always. ~ Love, Y/N
You closed the book and handed it back to him.
“There ya go,” you said with a smile. “But you didn’t come all the way down here for me to sign my stupid book, so what’s up?”
He grinned. “You caught me. I’m down here for filming.”
“You didn’t tell me you were working on anything,” you accused lightly.
He shrugged, the smile still on his face. “I wasn’t sure if it was a done deal. I just got the call a few days ago, saw that you’d be here, thought I’d swing by to surprise you.”
You laughed. “Consider me surprised. I’m so happy to see you,” you said, more emotion in your voice than you intended.
“Yeah, you too…”
A sweet moment seemed to linger between you two as your eyes looked into his.
“Would you want to get lunch?” he suddenly asked.
“Uh...Hay…” you started, knowing this wasn’t a good idea, knowing it was dangerous, knowing that around him, everything was a slippery slope. Your agent came up to you and whispered that you needed to move it along.
“Can we talk after this?” you asked, gesturing to the line behind him.
“Oh, sure, sorry,” he apologized, his face turning red as he stepped out of line.
“You can stand there,” you quietly instructed him, pointing right next to the table. For the last ten minutes, you sat there signing books and chatting with fans, all while Hayden watched you with adoration and fascination. Although you had been writing for twenty years, you had evolved, it seemed. You were already mature while you two dated but...now you seemed to have this new classiness about you. You were refined, sweeter, more patient. He didn’t know how he didn’t notice it when you were on his farm, maybe because you were far out of your element.
Once everyone was gone and they started packing up the few of your books that were left over and the other advertising and marketing materials, your agent said goodbye to you and you went over to Hayden.
You’d thought about his proposition, knowing it was a dangerous game to play, you two alone, but if you couldn’t trust yourself, how could you ask Seb to?
“So...lunch? I’m craving some frozen yogurt,” you informed and he laughed.
“Anything you wish,” he said as he offered you his arm and took it.
------------------
The two of you had a light lunch of salads and bread to make room for the frozen yogurt you were desperately craving. You walked along the street, just strolling, casually talking about his film and the book signing.
“So how long are you in town?” you asked, scooping your spoon into the frozen treat.
“Till Christmas, maybe a little less. It’s not all based in New York so…” he explained.
“I’m looking forward to it, whatever it is.” Just then, your phone rang. “Oh, hang on just a sec,” you requested kindly as you shifted yourself to get to your phone. “Hey, Seb,” you greeted with a smile.
“Hey, babe. We took a fucking break, finally. God damn. I’m tired...Ugh...Anyway, how was the book signing? Are you done with it?”
“It went well. We sold almost all the copies we brought,” you informed, your eyes drifting to your friend and instantly you knew you needed to tell Sebastian he was in the city.
“That’s wonderful! I’m so happy for you. So what are you up to now?” he inquired.
You bit your lip, looking at Hayden who stood looking at you with a concerned expression.
“Uh, actually, I’m hanging out with Hayden,” you explained, knowing you needed to follow up, quickly. “He’s in town for filming, and stopped by to say hi.”
“So...you’re just hanging out? The two of you? Alone?”
“Alone, with about a hundred other people on the sidewalk here in SOHO,” you informed, the tiniest laugh in your voice.
“Y/N…” he started, his voice strained. “I’m not really comfortable with this.”
“Why? Do you not trust me?”
“It’s not that...it’s just...the last time you two were along, you weren’t exactly faithful,” he reminded.
“So you don’t trust me?” you said, it almost sounded like a question but  it was more of an affirmation to what you had heard. “Look, you forgave me. It's not fair for you to keep dragging it up whenever it suits you. You either trust me or you don't, easy as that.”
“It’s not that easy. Yes I forgave you, I know, but I get insecure when you're around him, especially since I’m hundreds of miles away and it was distance that strained us the last time,” he reminded in a relatively calm voice. At this, you decided to face away from Hayden, trying to keep the fight a little more private.
“Need I remind you, it wasn't just distance, Sebastian. But either way, you and I are in a better place now. But this relationship will never work if we can't trust each other.”
“I know. I do trust you, but it would be nice if you tried to put yourself in my shoes as well... see this from my point of view. I did it for you, to forgive you. I saw it from your side. Now see it from mine. He’s still single, he’s still lonely, you still have feelings for him…”
You bit your lip. You didn’t tell Sebastian that, not outright. You’d said you would always love him, but most people held a special place in their heart for their first love and you were no exception.
“So you think I can’t control myself? Sebastian, we’re better. You and I are better now, we’re fine. You can trust me.”
“I don't want you hanging out with him until I’m home,” he said. His side of the fight was fair, you knew that. But did he really think you would just betray him again?
“You know, if I was going to cheat again, I wouldn’t tell you that he was here and that he was hanging out with me. If you think I need a chaperone or supervision, just say so,” you responded, getting angry.
“Maybe that’s what you need,” he retorted, upset himself. “I don’t see how this is so hard for you to figure out, Y/N. You two together is a bad idea.”
“I am capable of controlling myself,” you responded in a low voice.
“You sure about that?” he asked.
Your mouth fell open. “I’m going to hang out with my friend, if you have a problem with that, then that’s your deal, not mine. I’ll talk to you when you’ve gotten over this.” You hung up and spun back to Hayden. “Ready to go?”
“Where are we going?”
“My place. I wanna watch something with blood and gore,” you said, starting to storm up the sidewalk.
“Y/N,” he said, jogging to keep up with you, “if this is going to be a problem, I can just leave. I just thought it would be nice to see you since I would be in town, a friendly face, someone who knows what I’m going through. But if this is going to create a problem...”
You stopped and turned to face him. “You aren't the problem, Hayden, it’s him. Ugh,” you groaned. “The thing that happened between you and I was a mix of you being hurt, old feelings, and my anger at Seb. You know why I was mad at him?” you asked.
He looked left and right then answered, unsure, “Because he was ignoring you?”
“That’s only half of it,” you stated. “First, it was the six months with barely interaction. No big deal at first, I was busy with my novel, publishing, editing, all that fun shit. But then my writing slowed down, and I started to notice the calls were only about two or three times a week and maybe ten texts.” Hayden went to open his mouth but you stopped him by raising a hand. “I know, he’s busy. I get it. I know how hard actors work, I’ve been with enough to know it’s not easy and how many hours they have to go through. But it wasn’t just that. It was the fact that he didn’t read my book not till I had asked him about it a few more times. It’s about the fact that when he got home, he barely kissed me, and ran to bed. It’s about the fact that every night I tried to do anything intimate with him, he said he was tired and rolled over. Or if I tried in the morning, he told me he was late.”
You stopped to get a breath of air.
“Or dinner. I get it, he works hard, grueling hours. But sometimes having dinner brought in would be nice too. I spend every day cleaning, watching after Spinee, cooking, shopping, laundry, and writing. But some help would be nice. Not much, but ordering takeout or a pizza….Or maybe offering to clean the kitchen for once. I work too. It’s that this isn’t a two way street any more. He just expects me to do all of this shit without any appreciation. I was tired of being the invisible maid to him. Not once while he was away did he send flowers, or have a pizza delivered, or send chocolates, or hell, even read my fucking story. I mean, should I really have to beg him to read it? You read my shit and we hardly ever speak...” you said, waving your hand absently at your friend who listened to you rant.
“Why don’t we go get you home and we can talk and you can vent all you want? But out on the street…” he said, insinuating a media frenzy would start soon if they saw the two of you, clearly talking about something heated.
“Fine.”
You hailed a cab, the two of you climbed in, and once you got home, you offered him something to drink.
“Coffee if you have it. What’s this guy’s name?” he asked, petting Spinee, who had initially barked a few times at him.
“Spinee,” you informed as you set to work making the coffee. “I’m sorry about the rant. I guess….Yes, I know we kissed. I know I betrayed him. I know he’s in a tough spot, but he makes it out like he wasn’t to blame for me starting to stray in the first place. It’s not my fault he’s been absent in this relationship for seven or so months…” you commented angrily, nearly muttering yourself by the end of the rant. You placed the mug in front of Hayden at the counter as he sat on a stool.
“Is he really all that bad?” he questioned, knowing you were probably just frustrated.
You shook your head and sighed, leaning backwards against the island. “No. I still love him...and I know I fucked up...I know it’s not going to be easy to trust me...But...to tell me I can’t even hang out with you is just ludacris.”
“He has a fair point,” Hayden countered.
Shaking your head again, you replied, “I thought the last month was a sign of things getting better. He was spending time with me, making me a priority, doing sweet things...was that all just out of jealousy? Was he just doing all that stuff as a response to us?” you wondered.
“Does it matter why he did them, if he did them? Isn’t that what counts? That he was thinking of you?” Hayden questioned.
“Yes, it does matter. I want him to want to be near me, to want to do things with me or for me because he loves me, not because he’s afraid he’s going to lose me if he doesn’t. I want him to do this stuff because he wants it...not just a tactic to keep me from leaving,” you quietly said, crossing your arms.
He hung his head, nodding to the side. “I get that. So what are you gonna do? Just keep fighting him about us hanging out?”
“I’m just going to remind him that the last time I did something I shouldn’t have, I came clean. We went through hell and back just to be on good terms, why would I screw that up now?”
“I see.”
“Look, it’s not your problem,” you said, your voice lifting a bit. “Come on, let’s forget about relationship problems and watch something,” you suggested, waving him over to the couch.
“Sounds like a plan.”
But you couldn’t forget about the problems. How could you? You had told Sebastian that the kiss up at his farm was a one time thing, something to get out of your system, something to help you get over him. And in a way, you thought it had. Texting and calling really did feel friendly, but the instant you saw him in that bookstore, everything came crashing back down around you. For a few moments, Sebastian had completely left your mind and all you saw was Hayden, your first love, the one you always felt that had got away.
You had no idea how to feel. Hayden and you had been over for over ten years now, but yet, when you were right next to each other, it was as if nothing had changed. He was still the same sweet, funny, chill, easy going guy you’d fallen in love with. He still made the same dumb jokes. Being next to him you felt at the most ease in the entire world. He felt so comfortable...Inviting...He felt like home.
Yet...Sebastian was similar. Being in his arms at night, you’d never felt safer. Being by his side for the few events you could go to felt natural. Dancing with him at events or just randomly at home always gave you butterflies and you felt connected to him. He was the first man since Hayden to make you feel like you could even love again, even let someone in. When he was away, you missed him so much, and your writing reflected that. It usually turned darker and more somber while he was away.

Happy Birthday Vicky Kaushal: Actor delivered an all-time great debut performance in Masaan, his father couldn’t believe his talent - bollywood
http://www.liveindiatimes.com/happy-birthday-vicky-kaushal-actor-delivered-an-all-time-great-debut-performance-in-masaan-his-father-couldnt-believe-his-talent-bollywood/
Even Vicky Kaushal’s father wasn’t sure of his talent until he saw Vicky’s debut film, Masaan. Vicky’s father, the action director Sham Kaushal, said that he wasn’t sure what the casting directors saw in his son, and believed them only when the reviews came in. Vicky was a star, and he was here to stay.
Sham told Hindustan Times in an interview, “As his father, I can’t see what those who cast him see in him, but when I saw Masaan, I realised he really is an actor. And then the reviews and responses started coming and we could not believe this is our life.”
Masaan, directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, premiered at the in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, winning two awards. But before he got the role, Vicky was headed for a life in the corporate sector. He displayed a flair for theatrics even in his interview for an engineering position. “In my interview, they asked me why do I want to be an engineer,” Vicky recalled in an interview to ED Times. “I said, ‘Aam aadmi badi buildings ko sirf dekh sakta hai, engineer unko banana jaanta hai (the common man can only gaze at building, an engineer can make them.)’ I got the job even without answering any technical questions but I dropped it.”
Vicky became acquainted with Neeraj Ghaywan when they were both assisting Anurag Kashyap on Gangs of Wasseypur. At the time, Neeraj was still working on the Masaan script with writer Varun Grover. “The role that I play in the film was earlier offered to Rajkummar Rao and Manoj Bajpayee was going to play Sanjay Mishra’s character,” Vicky had revealed in an interview to Rediff. In fact, Vicky said, Neeraj had already shot a five-minute promo with Rajkummar.
But when scheduling conflicts forced Rajkummar to drop out, Vicky was given a call by the casting department. “I thought it would be for a small role as the lead cast was already finalised. I auditioned for the role and a week later, I got a call from Neeraj saying that I was doing the lead role in Masaan,” he told Rediff.

In the film, Vicky plays a character whose family is in the business of cremating dead bodies, because of the caste they belong to. As a Mumbai lad, Vicky said he found it hard to play someone so far removed from himself. He said in the Rediff interview, “I was born and brought up in Mumbai and had an urban lifestyle and I had to portray a guy who was working at the crematorium in Banaras. My character in the film is not affected by dead bodies. It’s his job to cremate them. He earns his livelihood by burning corpses. I had to get into this zone to play the character.”
When he visited the cremation ‘ghats’ in Varanasi for the first time, he was hit with the smell of burning corpses. “I could spend no more than 20 minutes,” he said, but decided to visit the ‘ghats’ every day, “as it would help me with my character.” He even recorded the chant ‘Ram naam satya hai’, spoken during last rites, and listened to it at night. For one memorable scene that required him to be drunk, Vicky actually drank alcohol.
When the film received a standing ovation after its Cannes premiere, Vicky said that “it was a rare moment where I felt patriotic. I realised that the audience was not clapping for an individual but for the team that came from India with such a beautiful film.”

Little did he know that just a few years later, he would play the leading role in one of the most patriotic films ever produced in India, the blockbuster hit Uri: The Surgical Strike. It would establish Vicky as a bonafide star, but in that 2016 Rediff interview, Vicky admitted that contemplating his future was ‘scary’. “But at the same time,” Vicky had said, “it is also motivating that with every performance, I have to push the boundaries and improve myself as an actor.”
Vicky has since delivered acclaimed performances in films such as Raman Raghav 2.0 and Masaan, both directed by Anurag Kashyap; in Raazi, directed by Meghna Gulzar; and in the box office hit Sanju, helmed by Rajkumar Hirani. Up next, he has biopics on Udham Singh and Sam Manekshaw, the period epic Takht, and the fantasy film Ashwatthama.

Chapter 5: An Unusual Prince
Finn paced back and forth in front of the Performance Center as he waited for Hayley to shower. He may have looked calm on the outside, but...he was dreadfully nervous inside. He knew that he was taking a huge risk by asking Hayley out on a date. He knew that she was in an emotionally vulnerable state due to the fact that Dolph was still harassing her even though they had been broken up for months, and he didn't want her to think that he was taking advantage of her. He had nothing but good intentions in his heart, even though he and Hayley barely knew each other.
Their first and only encounter was when Sara Del Rey had introduced Hayley to him before she had begun her training earlier on in the day. He had watched her training with Brianna from afar, and he had to admit...he was in awe of the young woman. Finn was a huge fan of Shawn Michaels, and he could see a lot of Shawn in Hayley when she wrestled. He had to admit...he was impressed. Extremely impressed, at that. He had yet to see her cut a promo, and he couldn't wait to see if Hayley had her daddy's gift of gab.
Finn continued to pace as he waited for Hayley to come out of the Performance Center. A few seconds later, the door opens. A small smile forms on Finn's lips as his eyes settle upon the blonde woman approaching him. She looked absolutely beautiful...
"About time you showed up..." he teases, "you feeling any better at all?"
Hayley laughs.
"I told you that I'd be a bit..." she says, "and I actually feel a lot better. At least I don't smell like a dirty gym bag anymore."
"You smelled better than I did," laughs Finn, "besides...you were working ya ass off earlier. I was watching you train with Brianna earlier. You two have some insane chemistry in that ring, I'll tell ya that."
"It helps that she and I are childhood friends," says Hayley, "I find that wrestlers who are friends or family tend to have some insane chemistry when they're in the ring together. You should see her with Emily. It's like watching Kane and Undertaker all over again."
"That's very true," says Finn, "you tend to pick up on how someone works when you've studied them enough times. And that's made some incredible matches in the past."
"Yeah, it really has..." says Hayley, "I actually overheard Triple H saying that he just recently signed Bridget Hart. That's gonna be fucking interesting."
Finn raised a brow.
"Bridget Hart?" he says, "you talkin' about Bret Hart's daughter?"
Hayley nods.
"The very same..." she says, "she and I have quite the history. We've gotten into more fights with each other than I can count on both hands and both feet. That's how much we despised each other after the Screwjob."
Finn whistles.
"Jeez..." he says, "and I thought the bad blood you had with Brianna and Emily was crazy..."
Hayley shrugs.
"What happened between the three of us was all verbal..." she says, "the only time punches were thrown was when the two of them punched Dolph. Plus, it's all been resolved. Bridget and I have gotten into full-blown brawls to the point it's taken multiple people to tear us apart. She still despises me to this day."
Finn snorts.
"The Screwjob happened back in 1997..." he says, "and, I thought that Shawn and Bret buried the hatchet..."
"They did," says Hayley, "I'm not even mad at her anymore even though she's said some awful things to me. She just refuses to let it go."
"Holding grudges isn't good for anyone," says Finn, "maybe the two of you can talk things out when she arrives. See if Triple H will stage an intervention of some sorts."
"There's no harm in trying..." says Hayley, "I mean, I doubt she's gonna say yes to the idea, but, I think it would do both of us some good to bury the hatchet once and for all."
"I think it'll do the both of you some good," says Finn, "you're going through enough shit right now. I don't think you need Bridget making your life more miserable than it already is."
Hayley nods.
"I know..." she says, "but? My main focus right now is my career. I'm not gonna do anything to jeopardize all of my hard work. I've fought tooth and nail to get to where I am today. Never in a million years will I use my name to get whatever I want. I believe in working for what you want."
"You're as smart as you are beautiful," grins Finn, "I wish that other people used that mantra."
Hayley blushes. Soon, she and Finn reach the Dairy Queen that was a few blocks down from the Performance Center. She smiles as Finn opens the door for her, and they make their way over to the cashier to order their ice cream. Hayley ordered herself a large Oreo Blizzard, while Finn ordered a large Reese's Pieces Blizzard. Hayley reaches into her wallet, wanting to pay for her share of the ice cream. Finn chuckles, gently grasping her wrist before she could take her wallet out of her purse.
"Oh, no, you're not..." he says, "you're my guest. I will pay for the ice cream."
Hayley frowns.
"Finn..." she whines, "I'm not expecting you to pay for me..."
"Well, too bad," says Finn, pulling twenty dollars out of his wallet and handing it to the cashier, "you're my guest. I'm gonna pay. You can pay for the next little date we go on. Deal?"
Hayley rolls her eyes.
"Fine..." she says, "if you insist..."
"Good," smirks Finn, playfully ruffling Hayley's hair, "we have a deal."
Hayley blushed. A few seconds later, the cashier hands the pair their Blizzards. They say thank you, and they walk over to one of the corner booths. Finn allows Hayley to slide in first before slowly sitting down next to her. They soon begin to dig into their ice cream, with Finn letting out a soft moan as he placed the red spoon into his mouth.
"I don't know about you..." says Finn, "but, I definitely need this Blizzard after the day I've had. Today dragged on longer than usual..."
Hayley shrugs.
"I didn't really notice..." she says, "I guess I'm used to long days of work. When I wasn't training, I was helping dad out around the ranch. I guess that's why I have insanely good body strength."
"You're a Jill of All Trades," laughs Finn, "what kind of work did you do?"
"Everything, really..." says Hayley, "I hauled giant bails of hay. I helped feed all the animals. I've done a lot of heavy lifting, so, that was my daily workouts."
"A country girl through and through," says Finn, "I can't help but notice that you have a fairly strong Texan accent. Is it weird that I find it cute?"
Hayley giggles.
"It's not weird at all, Finn," she says, "you're definitely not the first one today who's said that they think my accent is cute."
"Well, it is cute," laughs Finn, "and I think it's awesome how close you are with your dad. Even though he's had his fair share of problems over the years."
Hayley snorts.
"I'm surprised my dad wants anything to do with me..." she says, "he and I hit a rough patch when I was with Dolph. They despised each other and it caused a lot of tension because I always sided with Dolph. Now, I wish I had sided with my dad. Because he was right all along about Dolph..."
"He's your dad, Hayley," says Finn, "and you're his little girl. He's always gonna love you no matter what the two of you go through. Sure, what happened between you and Dolph was an absolutely horrible situation that ended in violence and heartbreak. But, there's a bright side to it."
Hayley raised her brows.
"Bright side?" she asks, sounding very confused, "what bright side?"
"Well, think about it..." says Finn, "it's a learning experience. You were still fairly young when you and Dolph met, and we've all made some fairly big mistakes when we were younger. You thought that you were in love with him. That ended up clouding your judgement and you ended up rushing into things too fast. Now you know what not to do in the future. And you also know what red flags to look out for. Dolph taught you a very valuable lesson."
Hayley couldn't help but laugh. She knew that Finn was right. She knew there was no way to dispute his points. She never thought of what happened that way before.
"You're right..." she says, "you are absolutely right. Sure, what happened to me was absolutely horrible and I almost jeopardized my career over it, but...it was a very good lesson. From now on? I'm gonna take things slow with any potential boyfriend. Go out on a few dates, get to know the person, and build up a friendship before taking it to the next level. Something I should have done in the first place."
"And that shows how much you've matured," says Finn, "everyone makes mistakes. It's human nature. But, it's how you learn from those mistakes that matters."
"That is so very true," says Hayley, "I definitely learned from that massive, massive mistake. He can try and bring me down all he wants, but, I'm not gonna let him affect me anymore. My career is far more important than him and his bullshit games."
Finn smiles.
"Atta girl, Hayls," he says, "you don't mind if I call you Hayls, do you?"
Hayley smiles.
"Not at all, Finn," she smiles, "I don't mind at all."
Finn chuckles. The two continued to talk as they ate their ice cream. Hayley couldn't remember the last time that she had actually enjoyed herself on a date. Dolph hardly ever took her out on dates. He always came up with some bullshit excuse and she fell for it every single time. Soon, the pair finishes their ice cream. Hayley slowly leans back against the back of the booth, letting out a sigh as she places a hand on her stomach.
"I am gonna have to work out extra hard tomorrow..." she says, "I don't even remember the last time I had a cheat meal..."
"It's been a while for me," says Finn, "maybe you and I can train together tomorrow. I'm supposed to be going to the Performance Center with Enzo in the morning."
"I would love that," says Hayley, "as long as you don't mind that I'm bringing a tag along. I promised Brittany that she could train with me tomorrow."
"I'm cool with it," grins Finn, "the more, the merrier if you ask me."
"I just figured I'd ask," smiles Hayley, "unlike some people? I have manners and I take other people's feelings into consideration. Despite what my fuckboy ex says or thinks."
"And I appreciate that, Hayley," smiles Finn, "you know...you're a really sweet girl. I had a lot of fun talking to you."
Hayley beams.
"I had a lot of fun, too, Finn..." she says, "it feels nice to be able to talk to someone else besides Brianna or Emily. This was refreshing."
Finn smiles.
"Well, I'm glad you think that," he says, "I'll let Enzo in on our plans for tomorrow. That way he can expect more people. Shall we meet at the Performance Center say around...seven o'clock? Does that sound good to you?"
Hayley smiles.
"That sounds great to me, Finn," she says, "I'll see you tomorrow."

Look at this dining room!
I was so proud the day I was allowed to drive the hay turner, this machine turned the swath of the hay completely over to let the sun dry the underside. Somehow the horse had managed to get the rein caught under its tail and the more I tried to get it free by pulling, the faster it went. Until we were like a chariot galloping down the hill out of control.

Tumblr media
CAST: Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby deol, Daisy shah,  Saqib saleem, Anil kapoor, Freddy Daruwala DIRECTION: Remo D'Souza GENRE: Action Thriller Race 3 is the super most awaited movie of the year. Finally after Tiger Zinda hai, salman is back again to entertain us with one of the biggest franchise of the country 'Race'. Before Race 3, Race and Race 2 was released and both of them were smashing hit, well surely Saif made the franchise so hit with his phenomenal spark but makers have decided to make this film  more big this time. It would be nice to see how salman will pull the Race. Film is featuring Salman khan as sikander,  Jacqueline as Jessica, Boby as yash, Daisy as Sanjana, Saqib as suraj, Anil kapoor as Samsher and Freddy as Rana. Jacqueline will be the female lead and will play as the love interest of salman. Their chemistry is really amazing, you can feel it over screen. Sonakshi Sinha will be appearing for a small cameo in a song. Film is directed by the famous choreographer turned director Remo D'Souza and produced by Salman khan and Ramesh Taurani under the banner of Salman khan films and  Tips industries Limited. Story and Screenplay is written by Shiraz Ahmed. Film is edited by Rameshwar S. Bhagat. Cinematography will be done by Ayananka bose. Film is filled with twist and turns. Salman khan dialogue "This race is mujhe nikalne ki baat  kar rahe ho us race ka sikander mein hu". Well it will surely catch your eyes and ears. Film got a  song named selfish, sung by Atif and lyrics by salman. Song's video is just marvelous but lyrics are not well appreciated by the public and its being compared to dhinchak pooja's mode. Films theatrical rights asking price is set to 150 crores before it was set to 130 crores.

Film trailer was released on 15th may and by then it already  has received 35+ million views. It has been buzzing over internet by then. Salman is looking as hunk as possible with all his looks and style and Jacqueline is looking smoking hot. Cast of the film is amazing. Boby deol is all muscle now, looking great. Trailer is filled with intense action. Anil kapoor seems all serious this time with his new looks and Saqib seems to be in the comic role. It has been reported by the  makers that this suspense will be better than the past two. In Tiger zinda hai, salman fired from machine gun and this time its Rocket Launcher my friends. I don't know about the next time but he is doing phenomenal. Films song seems nice, its Heeriye song is gathering quite attention, its views count are not seeming to get stop, getting highly appreciated by the public and why not salman got the biggest fan following in the bollywood. He is now being called as the godfather of bollywood. For shooting the Climax scene, the biggest units of people was used. Film Action sequences are choreographed by Tom Struthers who is famous for his amazing work in Dark Knight and Inception. Few of the film song is shooted Ladakh, where Salman and jacqueline pictures of sitting together in a Royal Enfield got viral over Internet. Makers have assured that no expense is spared to take race to the next level. Well salman is coming with new signature step this time and friends its evident that these steps are also going to get popular. Jacqueline has been shown doing many action sequences and for that she has to go through extensive Mixed martial arts training. It was reported that saif ali khan was approached for the film but but when he heard that he will be in a parallel lead with salman khan so he decided to oppose the idea. Film shooting began on 9 november, 2017. It was first shot in Mehbooba studios in mumbai. Few of the parts and a song is shooted in Thailand and Most of the part is shooted in Abu Dhabi. Salman has been quite busy this year. He just completed the shooting of Race 3. His show Dus ka Dum is about to come for which he has been quite busy with the preparations, promos and all stuff .Actually he is booked for the whole year, he will also be hosting Big boss 12 which will be coming with the new jodi concept and will be live by December. He has Already Started shooting for Bharat Movie with director Abbas-mastan, in which he will be playing against  priyanka chopra, which will be grand return of her in bollywood after a while and also planned to release kick 2 next year. His next four films satellite Rights have already been purchased by Zee before even coming into production. Salman is really huge in Bollywood. One of the best entertainer bollywood could ever have. Though misfortunes has not left salman, he was found guilty for black buck poaching, because of which race 3 Schedule took quite a hit, its last leg shooting was supposed to be done in Ab Dhabi but they decided to do the remaining  patching work in Rajasthan as landscape and climate was quite similar. Full review will be released on 15 May,2018. For more information on movies, stay tuned with us.   Read the full article

guess who came all the way to my place at 330AM!!!!! lol i was so surprised bc i just got done with putting on my acne treatments for the night and was about to hit the hay already until i received a call from han. funny thing was, i thought he was super tired today since we've met each other like 3 days in a row already so i figured i should let him rest and take a break from seeing my face HAHAHAHA 😂 and then earlier in the evening around 530PM, i met up with dayah since it was her birthday yesterday and i wanted to pass her a gift i got her as well. in the midst of it all, i managed to get cupcakes (thank goodness twelve cupcakes exist at bedok mall) as an additional gift because imo a birthday without some form of cake or something similar and edible isn't really a birthday-birthday, if you get what i mean!!! and then i treated her to a little something extra which was starbucks since they still had the 1-for-1 promo going on (thanks seanna for this!!) i know everything just seems like i'm spending a lot but idk i just wanted to make her feel like she deserves all these because of what she's going through both in school and at home. besides, it's not everyday that we do these sorta things for each other! and my mom always taught me to be kind and generous if you have the means to do it!! (〃^▽^〃) ok and then around 7+ i think we decided to head back home since she was tired from school and was carrying a lot of gifts from her clique at school. and upon reaching home, i video called han HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! he didn't pick it up at first so i thought ah, he must be asleep and i ended the call after a couple of rings. then just as i was about to head to the toilet to remove my makeup, i felt my phone vibrate and noticed that han was video calling me HAHAHAHAAH SO I PICKED IT UP AND HE WAS LIKE, han: woa first time you video call me eh me: ya hahaha i thought you're sleeping cus you didn't pick up han: no la i didn't feel the vibration etc etc etc me: ohhhhh me: me: han: is it you video call me cus you're wearing makeup??? me: LOLOLOLOLOL me: omg how you know HAAHAHAHHAHAAH this is, but true HAHAHAAH. i'm slowly tryna get comfortable with my skin and even after han had already seen me FRIKIN BARE FACED IN REAL LIFE during my visit to the clinic the other time for my acne meds, i still am so shy and embarrass to let him see my naked and makeup-free face even after all these time hahahaha even after he told me how much he doesn't care and it doesn't even bother him and how much he still adores and loves me no matter how shit i look and still give me lots of kisses and holds my hands in public but lol i still feel so..... shy and not confident enough. i feel like i should dress to match how good he looks because he slays all the time y'all like forrealz idk how he does it but he looks bomb all the time. and then after awhile he had to end the call because he had something to do and then he thanked me for video calling him for the first time ever haahhaahahah ヽ(;▽;)ノ anyway fast forward the time to about maybe 8/9pm or so. we were just having a normal conversation, with him replying sometimes instantly and sometimes taking up to 30 mins *rolls eyes* it was mostly about whether he had already had his dinner or not and then because i already had starbucks with dayah i sent him a photo of it telling him that if he's not tired on friday (his first day off) then maybe we can go grab it together since it's the last day of the promo. i think he saw my instastory cus the next moment he said something like "yeah and you light the savory one" and i was just LOL-ing because i thought he was sleepy which was the reason for the typos. and then i wanted to ask him to play ml with me but LOL HE ALR GM4 damn fast or what this bugger (also bc he's always playing ranked games more than classic/brawl. unlike me, i played like idk how many games of brawl already). then around 10PM he asked me to play first and then he'll join later. so i said ok ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but i was too busy doing other shit like removing my make up (yes i haven't removed my make up after the video call) and moisturizing, my skincare routine la basically and by the time i wanted to play ml i think it was already around 11+. and then suddenly he came online right at the time when i just ended my game and then he told me to play one round together then he's gonna go sleep. i was kinda bummed like aiya one round je?? but it's late and i know he has work later early in the morning so i said ok and then we played one round together and lost terribly i think cus he was lagging??? and his friend was lagging too or smth i'm not sure hahaha. but overall i am also now GM4!!!! i didn't see his goodnight message on ml until after 1 so i texted him asking if he was already asleep. but i kinda suspected that he was fast asleep cus he didn't reply after i double texted him again at like 2+ almost 3AM, sending him a screenshot of the new menu at macdonalds HAHAHAHAHA!!! and then suddenly he called me and i was so shocked?? bc at that time i was alr preparing to hit the hay. i excitedly picked up his call and asked him why isn't he asleep yet!!! then he said smth like he woke up or smth and saw my msg so i was like oh ok but he sounded super fresh like as though he just had a super good sleep. and then he said he wanted to go to the toilet and will call me back later but i told him to bring me along LOOOOL and then he said noooo for what but i said bring meeeeeeee. he ended up bringing me but putting me on mute. BUT WHAT SHOCKED ME THE MOST WAS WHEN I HEARD KNOCKING ON MY WINDOW WTF LA. cus it was already so damn late who tf would be knocking on my window right. and i was on the phone with han at that moment as well and i thought it was my brother but he's in camp!!!! so it's definitely not him. never in my mind would i have thought that it was actually han :') wtf i can't believe he came all the way to my place at such an ungodly timing. i was so touched!!!!!! he's so sweet ;;;;;;; what did i even do to deserve such a wonderful boyfriend like him omg. other people will probably think he's a creep for doing things like this but wtf i rly love it bc when someone rly loves you they do silly things like this and sacrifice and risk themselves just to see you and be with you!!!! i made him wait a rly long time and i was truly sorry but i'm not gonna go out looking like a kentang that just went through the fryer with my oily ass haven't shampoo hair and my stinky face full of spot treatments LOL so i went to wash my face, used lots of dry shampoo to soak up my oily hair and then put on a huge ass hoodie lmaO. the moment i stepped outta the house, han: what took u so long???? me: um i look like shit han: *embraces me from back* me: um *blushes but he can't see thank god* han: *continues back hugging into the lift* me: why u come all the way here omg?????? han: hmmmm *still hugging* me: somemore you got work later then must go all the way back lol wtf i'm so passive aggressive when i actually fucking highkey loves the fact that he's right in front of my eyes in physical form LOL me: *waddles bc han is still back hugging me* han: me: me: me: *unlocks han's embrace to turn around and face him before i flung my arms around his neck into a tight hug* he smells so good ;-; he smells just like he came out from the showers or something omg i love his smell?????? is that a thing hahaahha then we held hands and walked to mcds but lol it wasn't dinner/supper anymore cus by 4 they changed the menu to breakfast which was ok by me but i think han actually wanted to have their dinner set bc he wanted to try the new menu but das ok we can always get it another time!! OH AND WHILE WALKING he said, "u never notice anything ah?" then i was like huh and i looked down at what he was staring/pointing at. and i realized he was wearing the jeans i got him hehehehe and it fits him quite well!!!!!!! sorry i wasn't observant i was still in a state of surprise to notice or maybe it's bc you look like a million bucks all the time already ;) and then around 4+ 5 he had to leave to avoid the morning commuters :( i was sad bc he's leaving so early but i can't be selfish either bc i don't want him to be stuck in a jam and then be late bc of my selfishness so he booked a grab and after many many many kisses and warm hugs, he left since the grab driver already arrived. but lol he keyed in the wrong location and then i booked another grab for him instead with the right location this time (he got the same driver ahahahaha) and watched him get in the car safely before i went in, washed up, sent him a text and falling asleep soundly hehe. best boyfriend award goes to you ♡
