A deadly attack in Central Paris has claimed the life of one person and left another injured, officials reported tonight. The assault occurred on a street in the Quai de Grenelle area, where an unknown attacker allegedly screaming “Allahu Akbar!” targeted passers-by.

According to France’s Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin, the suspect has since been apprehended by law enforcement authorities. Darmanin has also stated that the injured individual is currently receiving treatment from emergency medical crews.

In the wake of the incident, the Interior Minister has advised the public to stay clear of the Quai de Grenelle district while authorities carry out their investigation.

i feel like everyone just glosses over that Islam is backed by science. Probably bc no one who mocks Islam has bothered to read the Quran. But like…it understood evolution, it understood humans evolving from water, it understood that worker bees are female and it understood insect abdomens, it understood how people are born, it understood frontal lobes, it understood orbits, it understood the ozone layer, it understood so much real, proven scientific fact that was only discovered recently…and even more scientific concepts, like the Big Bang and Big Crunch theory.

Be Dutiful To Your Parents

We're so occupied with growing up that we often forget our parents are growing old. We're busy choosing what colleges to go to, studying for exams, and applying for jobs, but we don't notice our parents just want us to sit down and talk to them. We forget to lower the wing of humility over them as they did to us when we were children.

How many sleepless nights our beloved parents endured for our sake yet we fail to do a simple task for them on command? There will be many painful days where we'll regret not obeying them while they were alive, and it'll eat the insides of us day and night. Respect your parents, help your mother, talk to your father, and convey your love to them because a time will come where it will feel like you didn't do enough.

May Allah forgive us for our shortcomings and grant our parents long, healthy, and happy lives full of good deeds.

“And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honor. And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: ‘My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young." [Al-Isra 17:23-24]
