Somehow I think Georgia loves setting fire. The way she tagged APAT is kinda interesting… Base on what happened recently… Also MS followed her on IG so I'm pretty sure he sees everything. (But I might be wrong)

@ingravinoveritas idk why I’m getting a weird vibe from it… maybe it’s the mention of the children or the fact the she tagged AL. But I don’t get her humor most of the times, so…
@nightingalecottage @qazskc It is a weird vibe, and I'm glad other people are noticing this about Georgia's posts, too. How deliberate they are. Because Michael's been tweeting up a storm the past few days and him/David are getting a lot of attention with the whole "Thin Dark Duke" thing, and now all of a sudden Georgia and AL are promoting Staged again. These things never really feel like a coincidence, especially since this also just happened on Twitter, too:
...But what I think is really telling is that use of the word "shipping" in Georgia's story. I noticed that she referred to a whole album of Michael pictures, but not AL, nor a "Michael & Anna" album. As we've said before, Georgia is very deliberate in what she posts on social media, so I think that and "shipping" was purposeful...which makes her tagging AL in the corner of the story with #staged seem even more like an afterthought/awkwardly tacked on.
(Possibly also because Georgia pinned one of her previous stories to her profile--a picture of Michael, David, and Ty hashtagged #mumanddad--and titled it #fam, and while AL is part of posts promoting a professional project they were in, she is noticeably not part of something far more personal. It's all very weird and interesting, for sure...)

I have nothing much against Arwen and Aragorn being Beren and Lúthien come again. Except that it seems like an almost lazy parallel. Moreover, my personal gripe relates to how the two successful human/elf unions that we know of (barring Aegnor and Andreth because that one was neither 'successful' nor a 'union' so to say) came about from a mortal man—who ages and becomes wiser— and an immortal woman—who never loses her beauty. I do not prefer the ideal that this seems to perpetuate.
Which is why I personally like to imagine Elladan or Elrohir choosing the mortal path instead of Arwen. This would not only provide a parallel to Elros and Elrond — where one twin is Eldar while the other Edain — but also lend a contrast twice over. If this choice is made for the love of a mortal woman, then not only does it deviate from Elros' choice (which, as far as we know, was purely personal and not romantic), it also reverses the Beren and Lúthien imagery. History would repeat itself: a peredhel twin leaving the other behind, and also, an elf choosing the gift of men for love. And the union would be such that the man stays preserved in his beauty while the woman withers and dies.
If only there were mortal women around for this to come true. Sigh.

Finally got my Mario Shipping chart together!
Despite having the least amount of characters compared to my past shipping charts, this one took a lot longer to format sense the main 5 are all connected in a big square. I ended up having to leave out Mario and Bowser’s dynamic and make the Just Platonics it’s own chart to get everything to actually flow correctly.
Sense it’s so few characters though I added in everyone’s opinions on who they’re connected to so you can get a better sense of the dynamic. Let me know if it’s hard to read in any way and I’ll add a transcript under the cut to make it easier.

I'd love to imagine Harry sends letters back to the whirling rag for the Smoker on the balcony and they somehow become pen pals.
And the reason Harry starts this is because he essentially needs advice since moving in with Kim, but it comes out in the form of:
"Hi is it gay if I like the way a man smells and I live with him and sometimes he falls asleep when we're hanging out and his head falls onto my shoulder and I stay completely still for 3 hours because I dont want to wake him."
"Hi again so in your professional homosexual opinion how gay is it if I ask a man to go on a holiday with me on a couples retreat because the tickets are cheaper that way"
"So... Hello Uh what do I do if I'm maybe kind of potentially flirting with another man... how do I do that in like a... normal relaxed way to see if he's interested but not freak him out... this is Harry"

You are allowed to think what you like, obviously, but since you said that you weren't following the full coverage on it i just wanted to let you know that there were only five people (plus the pilot) on board the "submarine" and they were all billionaire business men.
okay ty! yah like i said it wasn't an informed opinion on the situation, just an inarticulate reflection on the current state of my dash haha. mainly it's just a generalised personal discomfort with media coverage of tragedies lol. obvs billionaires are inherently unethical and don't need defending so it's not even rly about them tbh. intended as more of a personal post than serious commentary yk (honestly i assumed there were some kinda employees on board along with them sjdjgjf - i'm uninformed mostly on purpose lol, i feel uncomfortable looking for details. but thanks for clarifying + not being rude dw i hear you)

one thing I really like about the no mercy route is the phrasing of some of the dialogue shaming you for… going out of your way to commit a tedious, inconvenient, and not even enjoyable mass murder. Specifically, what the characters call you. Because for obvious reasons, they’re not gonna say “you monster!!” But I think it also probably posed a unique writing challenge (or provided a blessing?) for Toby, especially considering the purpose of the no mercy route being so judgmental of you in the first place.
like. we all know that when certain phrases get used and re-used countless times across All of Media and also real life, it starts to lose its meaning right? So aside from the watsonian reasons for why the characters of undertale wouldn’t use ‘monster’ as a synonym for ‘needlessly cruel and evil person’, the doylist choice here is kind of fascinating to me. A little bit inspired imo
cause it just feels worse to have sans or whoever else say “you’re just a gross person, huh?” Or “you’re really a freak.” after an observation/remark of what you’ve done. and it feels like that because the characters in the game literally can’t use a certain phrase we’d normally glance over.
but it also feels like that, because their observations of you are more precise that way. Cause it directs your attention to what could be ignored through vague platitudes like “you really are a monster” or whatever; the ugly truth. To simply state the truth about your actions is what makes the route so uncomfortable. Because the truth is that you are the source of discomfort, which you can’t avoid recognizing, even for a second. You could just ditch this playthrough and start a pacifist run At Any Point In Time, but for some reason you’re dedicated to killing all your nice little cartoon friends. And that’s weird.
idk I just think its neat
