Practice Conversation 1

So Stinger is a fortune teller, hm?  

It reminds me of the fortune telling event I assisted with in the past.  

I think I’ll ask Julian to tell me all about fortune telling to help me prepare for my role.  

Moreover, Stinger, who I play, and Wiz, who Guy plays, have a complicated relationship.  

I’d like to discuss with Guy and develop the scenes where they exchange words.  

There are also magic and action scenes this time around, so I have to put in effort to practise those as well.  

Practice Conversation 2

Banri also mentioned that he wanted to pay special attention to the direction of the magical action scenes.  

Yesterday, Banri, Tsuzuru, Rento, and Akashi were all discussing them together.  

The standing positions, effects, sound, and lighting…  

They were talking about how to make them all work together.  

They were shouting all kinds of sound effects and suggesting they should do this and that. They looked serious, but also like they were having fun. Their eyes were sparking.  

Seeing them, I felt excited myself. And I felt that I should work even harder during our rehearsals.  

Practice Conversation 3

Say, Director. What would you do if I told you that I’m actually a wizard?  

Just like Stinger, I blend in with the regular folk…  

But the truth is, I can use secret magic.  

…Fufu. Just joking.  

A wizard… I think it would be wonderful if I could save someone with magic or fortunes, and give advice…  

Or make magic cocktails that solves people’s problems for them.  

It sounds like a dreamy, fantasy world, doesn’t it?  

I may not have those wonderous powers, but I can be there for someone and help them out.  

Even though I’m not a wizard, I want to be someone who can always lend you a hand and who can be trusted by the princess that you are.

Azuma & Masumi Talk

Azuma: Speaking of bartenders, I recall that time you and Juza performed in the dorm’s hidden talent contest in the past. Fufu. You two performed flare bartending under the name “feat. Team Manju”, right?*  

Masumi: Yeah. We dressed up as bartenders and performed using bottles and shakers.  

Azuma:  Your bartender’s outfit and performance were really dashing.  

Masumi: Thanks to that, we won the hidden talent contest and Director told me she felt a different charm than usual… …I got a lot of help and advice from you back then.  

Azuma: I’m glad if I could help. How about doing that performance again for the first time in a while?  

Masumi: …Maybe. It made Director happy, so I’d like to try out some more difficult techniques and show her.  

Azuma: When you’re able to drink alcohol, maybe I’ll ask bartender Masumi to mix up a drink for me.  

Masumi: Well, I trained for my performance while listening to your advice. Of course, the very first drink I make will be for Director… But I can make one for you after that.  

Azuma: Fufu, I’m delighted. I’ll look forward to it.

Practice Conversation 1 

The Western fantasy world for the winter troupe’s play feels novel and exciting. 

I have to consider many things for my role study, like reference stories and people I can learn from. 

Although Hunter is a huntsman, he doesn’t have a hunting scene. Still, I plan to try using a bow and arrow. 

Hunter also has a wife and children. 

I want to express his different sides, from how he always thinks about his family to how he desperately gives his best in his job. 

Practice conversation 2

Hunter has a wife and children, but since I don’t have children or siblings, I wanted to know how it feels to be with little children for a long time. 

My first thought about who I should ask about it was Tsuzuru-kun. That’s why I asked him some questions about it.

But I also wanted to know the feelings of the children’s father… so I asked Tsuzuru’s father about them in a phone call. 

He told me a lot of interesting things about how it is taking care of children and how it feels to see them grow. 

He also told me how Tsuzuru-kun was when he was a child… it was fun to hear. Fufu, Tsuzuru-kun was beside me, so he got flustered with that. 

I feel that listening to Tsuzuru-kun and his father made me understand Hunter better. Now, I appreciate it even more.

I’m back.

Today, I went to tutor a second-year high school student… huh, is something wrong? 

…Kumon-kun and Taichi-kun? Maybe they want to ask me about an assignment. I will talk to them later. 

Fufu, Hunter may have this kind of conversation with his wife when he comes from work. 

Ah, I’m sorry… I didn’t notice I thought of you as my wife, Director. 

I just thought Hunter would also talk about his job and ask about his children. 

That might be a relaxing time for him. That’s something I can relate to as well. 

My heart calms down when I talk with Director like this… somehow. 

I want to deepen my understanding of Hunter before the performance and go to the stage being one with him.

Itaru: This work is definitely the one if you want a story with a huntsman… but this light novel is also a masterpiece… 

Tsumugi: Fufu, you’re very excited about this, Itaru-kun.

Itaru: It’s pretty nice to see Tsumugi as a huntsman~. Do you have an idea of what your costume will look like? 

Tsumugi: Yuki-chan said he almost finished the designs of all our costumes. 

Tsumugi: Ah, this anime also has an archer? 

Itaru: Oh, you have a great eye, Tsumugi. This work has such an impressive scene with a huntsman in action. 

Itaru: The story is fascinating too. I totally recommend watching it.

Tsuzuru: I’m really grateful and appreciated that Mizuno always supports me and the theater company.

When I look at the letters and the dandelions he sent me… I always feel encouraged and it helps me pull myself together.

That’s why whenever Mizuno faces problems, I want to do anything to help him. This time, thanks to the Director, I’m glad that I could be of help to him.

From now on, I hope I can continue to lend Mizuno a hand if something happens to him.

Tsuzuru: It seems that Mizuno often checks our theater company’s site and members’ blogs.

He still remembers stories like when Spring Troupe went to cheer Masumi at his school’s sports festival, or when Chikage-san and Banri went to the escape room together. (*)

Not just that, it seems like he also checks each members’ Inste too… He even seems to understand the candies that Miyoshi-san is recently into, and Arisugawa-san’s current obsession after that.

He’s amazing, or rather, that’s just Mizuno for you… Well, he looks happy seeing our Inste, so I think that’s fine.

Tsuzuru: I heard that Mizuno was helping MIZUNO Enterprise in management while he was in university. Of course it’ll be the same with when he has meetings with our theater company but…

Wearing a suit properly, carefully preparing various materials, and communicating with others in a formal manner.

Doing such things is very cool in my point of view. And I respect that guy.

As a scriptwriter, I sometimes have opportunities to meet people other than our troupe’s members with Director, I need to be more reliable.

When having meetings with others, she has to think about lots of things. “As expected of our theater company’s general director”, I thought.

I’ll also work hard to become more reliable as a scriptwriter and an actor that will be worth standing next to the Director.

So that I'll be glad if I can make the Director think that she can feel reassured and rely on me.

(identify what im interested in for field of study, research into the theory behind this field, reflecting on the findings in my work)

(look at the topic and identify a problem or area to explore, think of a range of ways to tackle the issue, make it relevant to the target audience you chose through surveys and questions and research)

3: develop creativity, knowledge and understanding of practice through effective communication in professional contexts

We were given this next "brief" to expand out knowledge we have gained throughout the course.

This unit requires us to come up with our own brief, based off of one of five different starting point.

The starting points are as follows:

Navigation - Examples, Maps, Signs, Info graphics, data visualisation

Advocacy - Examples, Branding, Posters, Magazine, interventions, video

Participation - Examples, Branding, Manifestos, workshops, Advertising campaigns.

Conversation - Examples, Workshops, Screen based interactions, Field Studies, Book-works, Data Collection.

Using one of these starting points we should explore and consider a range of methods and processes we have learnt through out viscom to create a brief and a final outcome.

Synopsis

As a mini learning agreement we must write a synopsis of study which is like an in-depth breif stating what I want to do why and how I will use my skills to create the final outcome.

This must include any ethical issues, Learning outcomes, Aims, Assessment criteria and components, Reference and a Time plan.

Within this should also be include a Field of study, Context and methodology.

Alongside all of this we will have to produce a process book, this blog and an A3 portfolio page, displaying the project.

Without further ado, let's get started with Adult Onigiri Group activities! Azuma: I'm looking forward to it. Misumi: Today, I'm gonna ask the two of you to sample the onigiri I made! Sakyo: Food sampling, huh... Not bad. Misumi: First is Azuma! Here you go~.   Azuma: It's a huge onigiri...I wonder what's inside. Misumi: Ehehe, see it for yourself. Azuma: Thanks for the food. Hm? Isn't this.....salmon and avocado? Misumi: Correct~! I recently learned how to make this onigiri. I thought exquisite ingredients would suit Azuma's taste! Sakyo: It's indeed a rare ingredient. Azuma: Fufu, it's a rare delicacy but it's creamy and delicious. Thank you. Misumi: Glad to hear that~! Then, next is Sakyo's turn. Here~. Sakyo: Thank you for the food. Azuma: Fufu, how exciting. Conversations about Travel: Misumi & Citron

Misumi’s quite enjoying this traveling to a different country thing. He’s trying flavors that are new to him and he definitely can’t say he doesn’t like it. Like the rice they are eating right now? Delish.

Citron, as the more experienced traveler, quite agrees. ”It’s the same dish, but different country means different flavor!”

Misumi’s also amazed at Citron’s skill with a knife and fork, and chopsticks. These concepts are not that hard, Misumi. Though I actually don’t hold chopsticks properly myself.

“Yes!” Citron smiles, “Me, I’ve tried many different cuisines. I’m an explorer of tastes...” I’m totally putting that on my resume. “Even in this country, I’m going to be adventurous and find new flavors. If you find any interesting ones, tell me, okay?”

Having roped Misumi into his flavor journey, Citron appeals to the Triangle Beast some more by changing the conversation to onigiri. He was surprised the first time he had a riceball in Japan because the seaweed is so similar to paper. But now he loves the taste.

Misumi thinks it’d be nice if riceballs were more of a thing in this country and proposes doing a Street Performance based around onigiri. Citron agrees it’s a good idea, and the two of them decide to share *~HOW WONDERFUL*~* ongiri can be.

Your costume designer was at the costume design meeting today. He’s awful cocky, isn’t he?

He’s always got something to say, one thing after another. It’s annoying.

.... But I can really feel his enthusiasm for costume design, his ambition and love for clothing.

He asked a lot of questions to the creative staff of GOD Troupe and came up with a lot of ideas in the meeting.

A1. It is relatively possible (LOL).

But, not just based on the appearance, I may also be attracted to her inner side. I think I will find her cute when I try talking to her and will find out that she is an honest and airheaded girl. Basically, since I want for the move to come from me (T/N: lit. push myself harder), so on the contrary, I don't like to be told, "I fell in love with you at first sight." I think the type of person I will like depends on the situation I am in at that moment.
