it would have been a bold face lie to say axell had not been daydreaming of how he could kill off the mountain men who were joining them down in dorne. he could do it in a way that would look like an accident. like they fell beneath the wheels of the large carriage or maybe their horse slipped off the cliff edge. or maybe if he was feeling bold he’d just kill them in the middle of the night. so many possibilities at hand. and yet he needed to keep himself under control. if somewhere to happen he may be the first one blamed given his attitude towards them. plus it could jeopardize his chances at really getting back at them. instead, he needed to play the slow game with this.

but that did not mean he couldn’t take small steps now.

axell made his way through the tanned stone walls of their dorne home. taking the airy walkway down to where rowan had set up his study. the other guards standing up tall as their commander passed by. the mountain of a man always seemed so much larger even when he was only in partial uniform. the bulky full plate metal armor was far too hot down south, so a partial one would have to do. but still his looming presence seemed to grow larger with every step.

ducking to enter into the chamber, he gave a respectful bow of his head towards his king. “your majesty.” he told him. “i was hoping if you had a moment we could discuss some issues of security i have.” axell closed the door behind him to ensure they had some privacy. “it’s regarding the mountain men who have joined us.”
