GOTG 3 SPOILERS
Can’t stop thinking about this
Floor and Teefs were begging Rocket to leave. But, he was too distraught and consumed by grief over Lylla to listen. Floor and Teefs died because of that. And that’s something Rocket has blamed himself over for a very long time.

I'm working on a Rocket themed playlist and I'd love it if people could add in more songs that remind them of our favourite short king, or even just ones you'd think he'd listen to.

The High Evolutionary took an innocent, loving little ball of fur and turned it into a monster.
Instead of teaching him the importance of a perfect society, Rocket instead learned a much harsher lesson- that everybody he meets, wants to hurt him. Nice people are lying. And that he was broken and imperfect from the start...
You can't convince me that when Doctor Strange opened all those portals there wasn't a split second that Rocket let himself believe his old friends would come back too :')

Stephen had to re-process the fact that a sentient racoon was speaking to him. He'd met Rocket only briefly during and after the Battle of Earth, but they didn't have much of a conversation. Now, Rocket seemed to be incredibly angry with him.
"I take it that's a bad thing...? What did I do? Or not do?"

"hey got a minute or a cigerate?" @89p13-racoon
Sometimes it still blew Peggy's mind that she was in the future and that beings like Nebula and Rocket existed. But at the end of the day Rocket wasn't so different than some of the soldiers she worked with during the war, particularly the American ones.
"Cigarette? No, filthy habit. But a minute I do have, what's on your mind?"
