now that i think about it .. i don't think i have a favorite manhwa?? i don't read them very often, though i do remember loving bride of the water god when i was a teen! not a manhua but similar — lore olympus is also my favorite <3

for otome, oh gosh... there's so many ... i really really enjoyed olympia soiree, and i'm loving the comedy in bustafellows (it made me realize how much otome lack in comedy, which is a shame!) otherwise, other favorites include collar x malice, 7scarlet, and dead wishes (not really an otome, but it’s a very good dead dovel vn)!

Otomate ripped off Broccoli Co. - in the worst way possible

Explanation below.

- they took Ōtori Eiichi’s character from Uta no Prince-sama, i.e. his hair, eyes, clothes plus his voice actor Midorikawa Hikaru

- they took Eiichi and Otoya’s ... ambiguous scene standing in a burning flower field and turned it into a tragically romantic scene

- they turned Eiichi’s younger brother Eiji into his (”adopted”) younger sister and made their relationship romantic (and added control and grooming into the mix)

I beat all the good ends in 7Scarlet and fuck what a terrible, boring game with flat characters and an almost yandere that could have had potential. I have so many terrible words to say about this fucking game.

I forgot that Yasu's voice actor is like. The best part of 7scarlet, no contest. Yuki's voice actor is great too but I wish they'd do another take in those scenes where his hair gets ruffled.... not quite sure how to describe it other than "the voice actor sounds like they're moaning and it makes me uncomfortable."....
