The anti-junta forces in Myanmar have become extremely adept at creating their own weaponry to support their fight versus the ruling junta.
Above video shows a clone of an AK (top) being compared to a real AK (bottom)
There is also the TZ23, a standardized, AR-15/AK inspired assault rifle (piston-driven, so similar in concept to an AR-18). The majority of the furniture, and even the lower receiver itself, looks to be 3D printed. Here's some pictures of it, showing a prototype, the standardized production version, being loaded (where you can see how thick the magazine well walls are bc 3D printing), and a shot of an entire armory full of them.
They also have weapons which are modified civilian weapons, like this Indian made Lee-Enfield clone chambered for 8x50mmR Mannlicher (?!?!)
But their primary choice of self-produced weapon to fight the junta...
Is the FGC-9 9mm 3D printed pistol caliber carbine.

My completed Sister of Battle "mini" debuted with a base at DragonCon this year! My first armor and foam prop build - entirely self patterned and constructed. I have even more I want to add and upgrade with this, but I love this cosplay so much and can’t wait to wear her again. Keep an eye out @momocon for me!
And it’s done.
The Einhorn Magnum from Signalis (based on the Chiappa Rhino)
3D Print file by Dominiclarner on Cults3d
It’s very hard to make out many details in the game, due to it’s very stylized PlayStation style graphics, so there was a lot of creative liberty taken here.
I adjusted some of the print’s details to fit more in line with the original Chiappa Rhino, like the cylinder release and safety switch.
Overall, I decided to make it look more grimy and dirty than I otherwise would have, because Signalis as a whole has a very decayed and eroded theme going on, so I tried to represent that in a IRL object.
The result is a(n admittedly a bit weird) combination of cartoony and weathered.
finally finished my midlander model (which I’ll add the final touches like their number and nameplates) and a talyllyn coach that I’ll painted on Monday alongside the second one that I need to finish at least they can roll about and be connected with the magnets
What is a death athlete? Documentary film maker Jessica Solce explains the title of her new film and a new title classification for activists who recognize they are martyrs for a bigger cause.

Current stats: ~165 fps, 350 rounds per minute, 2 x 80 dart belts.
I always wanted to mod one of these but I've had several failed attempts. The stock gear box is jus too flimsy and breaks easily when upping the speed and voltage; so I designed a 3d printed mount to hold a much stronger motor and gearbox. The one I chose is probably overkill in terms of torque but it's not like I could just pop in an N90 or one of those smaller hobby gearboxes that Out Of Darts sells, it still needs to be able to pull a belt. Unfortunately the gearbox I got is a little slow on the fire rate, the tag said 400 rpm but it's only getting about 350. I did find a gear box of the same dimensions and style that advertises 470 rpm so I've got that on the way and it should be able to just screw into the same mount. The daybreak wheels in the internal pictures ended up being a bit too tough on the darts than I would prefer as the belt drive doesn't quite align the darts perfectly canter like a magazine would, so many darts would feed closer to the side and get pretty chewed up. So I replaced the wheels with Containment Crew Cyclone wheels, and due to there low concavity it doesn't matter as much if a dart is fed in slightly to the side. I also made a clip that can screw into and clamp down on a cereal box to act as a box magazine for the 80 round belt though the boxes are large enough it could probably hold 100. I took it to the TANG war last Sunday and it managed to do some work during one of the carpe games but during the second round I had loaded it with brand new just opened the box darts and the belt was a bit too tight on the fresh darts and caused several feeding issues.
