Weddings always bring people together. But the bachelor party is what makes people friends for life. It was a 3 day weekend traveling to the mountains of Washington.

It was a guy's trip but Will thought it wouldn't be a true guys' weekend if you weren't there, you were buzzing with excitement quite literally when the first activity on the list was getting tattooed with personal call names, everyone getting it in normal places, wrists, arms, backs, but you opted for a more teasing spot.

Frankie gives you a confused smile when the artist takes you to a private room away from the open floor plan. You waved at him cheekily before disappearing into the studio. The scratch of the needle pistoning into the flesh of your ass made you smile and start laughing. Life was fun again. You had everyone where you wanted them, not running when things got good.

Frankie accompanied a knock on the door frame with his eyes squeezed tight. You looked at the artist and nodded an okay. Frankie steps in and shuts the curtain, he opens to you on your stomach with just a g-string on and your shirt pushed up right under the curve of your breasts.

"How did I know that you would do this?" Frankie chuckles taking a seat across from you.

"You say I'm just so predictable." You smile sweetly, Frankie was trying to calm himself seeing you half-naked. It wasn't supposed to be sexual, he's seen everything without the sexual context but you laid out on the chair getting 'Princess' inked into your skin forever aroused him.

"That you are," Frankie spreads his legs further apart, and you bite back a giggle when you see the hard-on he had. When the artist finished cleaning up your skin and adding some Aquaphor to the ink before leaving you to get some aftercare supplies, you walked up to the full-length mirror, your Vans showing your ankles off deliciously, the studio lighting contours your curves, you popped out your hip holding your phone at an angle to snap a photo your plump ass branded with the fucking call name. Frankie was just in awe looking at how gorgeous you were and that you were his.

You took a couple of pictures, a smile on your face walking over to Frankie. You straddle his lap, grabbing his hands and placing them on the top of your ass. "Smile for the camera Frankie" You cooed, arching your back to mold into him and turning your toros to face the mirror, snapping a picture displaying your tattoo with Frankie's hands feeling you up.

Frankie helps you get dressed before the artist comes back with your aftercare kit. You showed off the tattoo to the guys with a zoomed-in picture, you had a smile on your face that Frankie hadn't seen in a long time. Genuine happiness to be with your friends, the loving princess coming back after months of hatred.

"You're a genius, Princess. Alright, I want mine on my ass," Benny started to unbuckle his belt, stripped down to his underwear. You squeal out a laugh and slap your hand over your eyes. Will and Pope tell Benny to put his clothes back on. Will threw the jeans at Ben who was trying to argue that if you can do it then so can him. "C'mon guys I need someone to match with me," You tried to help Ben's case.

Then everyone looked to Frankie, "Fuck no. I'm not doing it," Frankie shakes his head and backs away. The guys looked at you and waited for you to break down Frankie. "Please...for me?" You stick out your bottom lip and walk over to Frankie swaying your hips.

You stand in front of him and start taking off his belt. Frankie stands at attention and is fighting with himself on the inside. "I'll let you lick my tattoo and I'll lick yours," You stood on your tiptoes and whispered in his ear. Frankie felt his face flush and his pants tightened around his thighs.

"I'll do it...You're one hell of a negotiator, could've used you in the service." Frankie breaks and you laugh at how simple men are, Frankie can be broken down by sex. You spin around on your heels and smile at the guys.

"Boys, he's gonna do it," You announced, Ben was getting his arm tatted and holding onto Pope's hand quickly dropping it when you looked at them. Will was sitting and waiting for all of this to be over.

Frankie sighs when he is escorted to the privacy studio. You follow right behind and take a seat in front of Frankie.

"The shit I do for you," Frankie grunts when the needle starts buzzing into his plump...yes...plump ass. You whistled when you saw his skin jiggle from the vibrations. When his tattoo was finished you called everyone in for a show.

"Catfish has a fat ass," Benny is marveled by Frankie.

"Okay. That's it shows over." Frankie carefully pulls up his underwear and jeans. "I'll be looking forward to your end of the bargain, Princess."

The weekend started with a simple dinner then stopping at a bar for drinks. Will didn't want anything crazy for a bachelor party, just everyone chilling out in the mountains. It was romantic almost, you and Frankie got a separate cabin from the rest of them. You would end the night with a bottle of wine and Frankie running your bath. He went all out for the last night in Washington.

You walk into the bathroom, illuminated by the soft amber glow of the candles, milky water, and roses in the bath. An expensive bottle of champagne waiting for you.

"You're getting too soft on me, Catfish," You giggle when he starts to unzip your black tube dress that you wore for the big party night. You and Frankie dipped on the rest of them after a couple of drinks, all Frankie wanted to was go back and unwind with you. He would've waited until the party was over but you started to get too drunk, trading drinks with random people at the bar and then proceeding climbing on top of Frankie after making Pope take a picture of just you.

"You know we call you 'Princess' for a reason?" Frankie chuckles when you slurred- whatever man- you grab the bottle of champagne and sip from the bottle. You were trying to let Frankie be a boyfriend and spoil you. It was an internal battle with your heart and your brain, you want the romance but the logical side says it's too much.

Frankie helps you step and submerge into the bath, you rest your arms on the side of the tub holding the bottle in your right hand. He slips the hair tie from your wrist, brushing your hair with his fingers and getting your hair out of your face. Small tendrils of hair escape from the ponytail, framing your face. Frankie loved how he could see every detail of your face and the curve of your neck going down to your shoulders. You always look so delicate when you show your natural features when he helps you take off your makeup.

"What?" You murmured closing your eyes, loving the feeling of the hot water at your favorite temperature. Frankie kisses the top of your head. "I think you look so delicate with your hair out of your face." Frankie's eyes dance around your face.

"Hmm...delicate, that's a Taylor Swift song...I used to..." You spew nonsense, your mind growing tired from the night you had and the champagne making you feel fuzzy.

"Used to what?"

"Cry to it after we slept together..." You had enough liquid courage to open your heart to Frankie. You remember hearing it when you were shopping for lingerie after the first sleeping with Frankie. When you and him were breaking the rules, you fell in with the lyrics and then started connecting to your life.

Frankie didn't know if he should be upset about the fact he was a reason for your crying or be flattered that you let your heart swim out to him.

"Why?"

"Just thought it fitted us...the girl going for the guy." You opened one eye and smiled at Frankie who had a shy smile on his face. You were right again. You were the one to take a step forward, even if it was asking for sex but here he was sitting on the floor of the bathroom keeping you company while you were in the bath after a night out with the friends. Taking care of you, cherishing your drunken truthful mind sharing your thoughts, and taking in your beauty in the candle glow.

"You got me, baby," Frankie could see the tears stream from your eyes. You were swimming deep in emotions. You are safe, you have Frankie. Nothing else matters in the world. Could you swim out too far and Frankie gets tired of swimming? You blink away the tears and stare at the ceiling. Why does being in love have to hurt?

"How can you love me after everything?" You say not looking at Frankie. He holds his breath, loving you was easy. It was like breathing. Frankie just loved you, he had to love you or he wouldn't survive.

"Despite everything you did to me...you are the love of my life and I can't help but love you. You know how love is...it makes you wear rose-colored glasses, and I'll wear them for the rest of my life if that means you are mine." Frankie didn't care that he was insane for getting back together with you. It was easy. You were easy. You are different from every person he knows—a woman with intimacy issues and a bleeding heart for the one person she wants.

You rolled your head to the side and looked at Frankie, he was insane. The restlessness was clawing from deep inside you but diminished when Frankie stopped being just a friend. He is your life now. Your partner who loves you for everything good and bad that comes with you.

"I am so sorry, Frankie...for everything. You didn't deserve any of that. I want you to know how fucking sorry I am. I love you." Your voice coated with a sob stuck in your throat. Do your words matter at this point? You tell him that you love him but is it enough?

24 hours before the wedding.

September arrived, quicker than either expected and their wedding was going to happen…in a matter of hours. Both were nervous, but excited. And today the wedding tradition started: the bride and groom would be separated until the wedding, Beatrice would stay with her parents and Rooster would remain at home with Jolene. She looked over her shoulder to where her fiancé - soon to be husband - was leaning against the doorframe with his hands inside his jeans pockets, looking less than pleased, “We’ll only be able to see each other tomorrow at the ceremony?” she smiles apologetically while fixing her hair in a ponytail, “I mean,I know it’s tradition and such but do we have to?”

“I don’t want to either,Roos.” she replies, framing the bangs around her face before turning to him, “But if we don’t, my parents are going to drag me out either way.” Beatrice’s feet take her closer to him and she wraps her arms around his middle and her chin between his pecs to tilt her head up, “Hopefully it won’t take too long.”

Bradley frowns, rubbing the side of her face, “Yeah.” he leans down to kiss her forehead, his mustache tickling the skin, “At least we’ll have our honeymoon the very next day, I guess that can help the absence.”

“Absence makes the heart grow fonder.” she whispers, her soft breathing hitting his neck and collarbones, his own eyes closing with his lips still against her scalp, a smile slowly growing on his face. He presses a few other kisses on her forehead, then her cheekbones then her nose, before he touches them together, “...are you nervous?”

They were going to be married the very next day, after all.

He thinks on it for a second, looking to the side in thought, “...a little.” he admits, the side of his mouth quirking in a grin, “Are you?”

“A little.” They both laugh at her response, her hands coming up to gently touch the fabric of his white tee, “I guess it’s to be expected.” she whispers, rubbing her thumb and forefinger on the edge of his top, feeling the seam against her fingertips, “...I guess I’m more excited than nervous.”

Bradley smirks,leaning his head back to kiss the side of her face, right underneath her jawline, “Me too.” he was about to do more but the furious honking outside their house, followed by the ‘BABES!!’ made him groan and stop, “Your ride is here.” Beatrice giggles, looking up at his unimpressed face and cupping his cheeks, “Is there a rule for kissing before the wedding? Is that bad luck?”

“I don’t think so?”

“Good.” because his lips immediately land on hers, making a soft moan escape her throat and a smile form on her lips as she wraps her arms around his neck and his own around her waist to pick her up. She wasn’t complaining, considering they’d only see each other tomorrow at the ceremony, it seems fitting that they’d kiss each other ‘goodbye’.

Except that nothing with Rooster was that simple, especially when he pressed her back against the wall and her legs wrapped around his waist, the kissing intensifying exponentially with his hand sliding under her top and her own running up his scalp. Her soft moaning was music to his ears, his hands going down to her–

“Bea!” the doorbell rang continuously, Shells’ voice breaking the reverie and making the two of them look to the door, “Babes! Come on! We’re going to be late!” followed by more doorbell pressing, enough to make Rooster groan in annoyance and reluctantly put Beatrice down. The brunette just smiles up at him, and his flushed lips and mussed up hair, reassuring him they’d see each other again soon.

She disappears into the living room to say bye to Jolene, whose tail thumped on the couch vigorously, licking her owner who laughed in response. Once she did that, she grabbed her bag and sunglasses, smiling at her fiancé “Well,I’m going..see you in a few hours. Have fun with your party!” she says quickly, hearing the Buick’s horn blare again, waving Rooster goodbye and stepping out of the house.

Rooster sighed, approaching the windows on each side of the door to watch Beatrice enter the car - after saying hi to the other women there- looking back at the window to wave at him, earning a wave back and a little smile before the Buick disappeared from his view. He tsks, sliding his hands inside his jeans pockets and looking down at Jolene whose huge head nudged itself between his leg and the window, trying to see the car just like he was, “Well…there’s me and you now,Jojo.” he says and the pittie tilts her head up at him, “Wanna join me in my bachelor party? I think the guys wouldn’t mind you there.”

Jolene’s little whine breaks a laugh out of him, who leans down to pet her head and walks away from the window with the pittie following him, her trimmed claws clicking on the floor.

Meanwhile, Shells drove Beatrice and half of the bridesmaids to the Sun’s Retreat, the bride to be watched with amazement as the large white building with giant windows and palm trees came into view - and Evelyn and the other bridesmaids waiting for them outside - “Do you have the flier?” Shells asked and Bea nodded, grabbing it from her purse to show the blonde, “Good, it’s all they need to know you are the bachelorette. And your name, of course.”

Beatrice holds the piece of paper as if it contained secret information, fearing that if she lets it go it’d fly away and they wouldn’t be able to enjoy it. The parking lot is right in front of the spa and there are two spaces saved up for the Bride and her bridesmaids.

As soon as Shells parks her car, Evelyn,Nat and Halo look up from their conversation to see them, “Finally.” Evelyn smiles, watching Beatrice step out of the car - her eyes still wide in amazement - “We were thinking you weren’t coming.”

“I’m sorry, I was um…” she licks her lips, recalling what happened minutes ago, “Getting everything ready.”

Her taller friend didn’t believe her, but didn’t say anything either, just wrapped her arms around Beatrice in a hug as the brunette got closer. After a few seconds of greeting everyone, Beatrice led the group up the stairs that led to the front doors, looking back at the horizon and seeing the view of San Diego below them, they were so far from everything.

Beatrice pushed the doors open, holding the little flier in her hand and approaching the woman at the spa’s front desk, “Hello um,” she gently slid the paper for her to see, “I…um,I’m the bachelorette.” she didn’t know how else to explain it and yet she felt awkward doing so. The lady looked down at the flier than at her, smiling and asking her full name and the names of the others.

It takes a few minutes for everything to be checked, but eventually they are given the green light to go inside and change into the robes. Robes that were so soft it was like a cloud was covering their bodies.

They were led up the stairs to the private rooms, where they’d start the treatments. They could choose which one to do first, looking at Beatrice as she looks at the options on the ‘menu’ she was given, “I…I think a massage might work.” she says after a few seconds of silence, giving her friends a small grin before they were led away.

Beatrice couldn’t believe how Shells pulled this off, she wasn’t complaining, honestly she was doing a great job as her maid of honor. Since there were a lot of women together, they had to be separated into groups of three and four - since there were seven of them.- into two rooms that were only separated by a divisor which would make it easier for them to talk if there was any need to.

The view was amazing, once again they could see the San Diego horizon from the hearse as they all lie down, their robes pooled by the waist as they rested their cheeks on the tiny pillow, “Look at that view.” Bea hears Shells comment, whistling quietly, “It’s almost as worth it as the massage.”

“Well, it is nice.” Beatrice smiles, supporting her chin on her folded arms as she hears the masseuses getting ready. She had never gotten a full massage before, the only time she went to a spa with her nonna all she did was put on mud masks and have her nails painted, “I don’t think I–” she inhales sharply when she feels the woman’s hand on her legs, pressing the muscle, “I-I’ve seen - ow - such a pretty view.”

“Isn’t it? I knew you’d like it.” Shells says with a prideful grin, one that turns into a minimal grimace when her back thighs are pressed on. Meanwhile Evelyn had her eyes closed, thoroughly enjoying the feeling and unlike her friends, only letting out sighs of relief. On the corner of the room, Nat’s quiet noises of pleasure and complaint added to the sounds of joints popping and to the harp music that played on loop on the speakers.

Beatrice however was enjoying it as much as everyone else, eventually letting her eyes drop shut as the continuous rubbing of her muscles slowly lulled her to a short lived nap. She did fall asleep for a little bit, her friends noticing but saying nothing since she’s been so over the place for the wedding these past months, deciding to talk amongst themselves instead.

She had no dreams, she could still hear some of what was being talked about around her, her body was so relaxed she could feel herself melting into the hearse at any moment.

She didn’t know how long she closed her eyes, but by the time she opened them, the ladies were finished with the massage and were ushering them to the mud baths. Beatrice blinked hard, closing the robe and rubbing her hands on her eyes, “I guess I napped for a bit.” she was still slurring her words just a bit, giving her friends a nervous smile as she hopped down from the hearse.

Her body felt…soft, incredibly soft. Like there was air every time she walked instead of solid ground but she didn’t lose her balance. Since the mud baths only allowed two people each room, they had to separate yet again, this time Beatrice and Shells were the ones instead.

The smell of the mud baths was actually not as bad, there was the obvious smell of sulfur but something else, a fragrance was actually floating in the air. The ladies in the room gave the two privacy to remove their robes after putting their hair up, then slowly climbing onto the warm tub “Oh, shit this is warm.” Shells yelps as Beatrice slowly lowers herself into it, feeling a pressure pushing her back, the mud was so dense it felt like she was floating.

“This is really good.” the brunette whispers, disappearing under the mud until it touches her shoulders, giving the woman responsible for the bath a little wave when she left the room. Beatrice turned to Shells,whose head was leaned back on the small teal colored cushion on the back of the tub, “How’s it?”

“I should be asking you that, bride-to-be. How’s it?”

Bea inhaled deeply, the smell of sulfur and the floral scent entering her nose, “...I’m loving it, Shells, thank you.” she grins, getting comfortable inside the tub as the mud surrounds her like a cocoon, “I really appreciate you doing this to me.”

Shells chuckles, removing the hand from under the mud to wave her off, “It’s fine, you are my best friend.” she pauses, looking ahead with her smile faltering, “..You know…” Beatrice turns her head to the blonde in question, “I don’t think I ever told you how much you meant to me…when we met at Northride, well, I wasn’t expecting you to actually befriend me. I thought that it’d be like ‘oh this crazy girl wants to be my friend? That’s fine,I can handle it for a few months.” she chuckles almost sadly, “You were the first one who didn’t leave.”

Beatrice stared at Shells with her eyes wide, “Shells, you never told me that.”

“I didn’t know how to say it to you.” she shrugs the best she could with the mud around her shoulders, “And, you know, eventually we met Ev and the others and then you met my aunt and Melia. And I met your parents and some of your siblings…and…you know, I really care about you. I really do, Bea. You are like…the sister I never had.”

Beatrice’s eyes were stinging with tears but she couldn’t wipe her eyes because of the mud around her limbs, so she just sniffled and blinked hard to make the tears fall faster, “Wow Shells..I-I…I don’t even know what to say.”

“You don’t have to say anything,babes.” Shells smiles and her own eyes are glinting, “I’m happy for you,I genuinely am happy for you. And I knew from the moment I met Rooster you two would be perfect for each other.”

Beatrice sniffles again, giving her friend a teary smile “Yeah?”

“Oh, absolutely, first time I saw him I thought of you. It was just a matter of time and when you wanted to find a job? That’s how I set my plan in motion.”

“Your plan in motion,” Bea giggles, the tears no longer falling as she adjusted herself on the tub, “Well, your plan went very well, don’t you think?”

Shells laughs, tossing her head back when she does so, giving her friend a knowing look, “I just had to push a bit, everything else was on you two kids. It took a long time but now look at you, soon to be Mrs.Bradshaw.” Beatrice’s cheeks redden, her eyes looking down at the mud bath’s surface, watching the tiny bubbles pop with interest.

“Does that mean you’ll soon be Mrs.Floyd?” at that Shells laughed again, even harder, “What? You love him, don’t you?”

“I love my sugarloaf, don’t get me wrong.” Beatrice was surprised at the sudden nickname tossed in the middle, “But…we might wait a little longer, I’m not in a hurry, neither is Bob, so.” the sentence ends with a shrug and another smirk thrown Beatrice’s way, “Evelyn however, I don’t know…Hangman seems eager to pop the question.”

“I heard that!” comes Evelyn’s voice from the beyond, making the two women look around them, “The walls aren’t that thick, I can hear everything you guys are saying.”

Both Beatrice and Shells looked at one another, before their faces contorted, trying to hold back their laughter with no success, cackling at the commentary like children.

“Can I say?” Beatrice’s eyebrow arches when she hears Nat’s voice, “I’ve been a bridesmaid once to my sister but she never gave me a full spa day.”

All of them were now having a full facial treatment, hair treatment and mani pedi in a room with a pool in the middle, surrounded fragrant flowers and peaceful music, with glasses of white wine next to them. Beatrice chuckles, her eyes closed because of the cucumbers on top of them, hair up in a towel after being throroughly washed, “Shells is the one to thank, she managed to pull all of this off.”

“Yeah, about that,”Carmen’s voice adds, “How did you pull this off,Shells? This isn’t easy to do.”

“I have connections. Is all I can say.” the blonde giggles, ‘oooh’ing when she sees one of the women bringing strawberries over, popping one in her mouth and immediately trying to stop the dribble, “Oh it’s juicy!”

“I think it’s great.” Evelyn says,smiling at the cold cloth being gently rubbed over her cheekbones, “I think we all deserved a good spa day and if I know our bride to be, she’d want that as well.” which was true, Beatrice couldn’t imagine a better bachelorette party but one with her friends.

It was Halo’s time to speak then, “It’s really fun,” she sips the wine with a soft hum, fixing the towel on her head before it falls over, “Not only we’ll be glowing at the wedding, we are also relaxed? Couldn’t hope for anything better.”

Beatrice smiles hearing them talk, her hands folded on top of her lap as the cooling mask is still on her face,as were the cucumbers. Her skin care routine was much more simple than what she had here, but she couldn’t complain, her face felt so incredibly hydrated and soft she was sure it’d be shining by the time it was over, “I’m just happy you guys are having fun.” she grins, taking in a deep breath, “I hope Roos is too.”

“I’m sure he is.” Nat adds, “The boys are taking him to a brewery then bar hopping, I told them to not get him too drunk before your wedding. It’d be horrible to have your groom be carried all the way into the venue.”

The women laughed, especially Beatrice who was in reality, missing him terribly. It was very silly, she could handle being without him for months but not for a few hours? Maybe it was because of what this absence meant, she’d only see him by the time of the ceremony and that would take…a few hours. It wasn’t her fault!

Beatrice blinked once she felt the cucumber slices being removed from her eyes, with the cooling mask following. Her face felt tight and smelled delicious, she thanked the woman who removed the facial treatment looking down at her freshly painted nails as well. Nothing too intense, just a light pink almost nude color, but something she felt it’d work since she couldn’t remember the last time she had her nails painted professionally.

“How do you feel?” Evelyn asks on the comfortable white stretcher next to Beatrice.

The brunette sighed, biting her lower lip, “...over the moon.” she laughs, “That��s…how I feel all the time lately.”

Evelyn’s gaze softened, “Good.” her brown eyes followed the lady out of the room and she sent Shells a look, “Now, I know it’s usual for the gifts to be given during the wedding, but,” Beatrice looks up when their blonde friend closes the door behind the women, suddenly grabbing a box that was somehow hidden behind a flower pot.

Beatrice looks at all of them, who now were sitting up and following Shells and Evelyn, almost surrounding Beatrice, “What are you guys doing?”

“Here, it’s just something we felt you’d like.”

Beatrice furrows her brows, grabbing the medium sized box to have a better look, it seems heavy…she hums, gently pulling on the bow and letting it fall to the sides before lifting the lid. Beatrice widens her eyes, looking from the box to her bridesmaids with her lips parted “Oh, guys…” she smiles sweetly, pulling out the piece of clothing with her smile never wavering.

It was a jacket, an aviator jacket, with embroidery on the back. But not any embroidery, it was the depiction of a rooster and the words ‘Mrs.Bradshaw’ in curved white thread right below it, “We figured you’d need one.” comes Nat’s voice from her left, “It might get cold and you know, brides use that.”

Beatrice couldn’t stop staring at it. It hit her, finally, that this was real, this was happening, she is going to become Mrs.Bradshaw in a matter of hours. Her eyes stung with tears as she hugged the jacket close, letting a few tears roll down and smiling more when she felt arms wrapping around her body, giving her more comfort than ever before, “Thank you…I…thank you so much for this.”

“You are welcome.” Halo says, “We mean it, you have no idea how much it means to us too that you stepped into Rooster’s life.”

“Yeah, you two were meant to be.” Nat adds and the words that Mav said months ago repeat in her mind. Meant to be. She always believed there were soulmates but she didn’t think she’d have one and yet…there she is, with a soulmate. Cheesy and if she told Rooster that he’d laugh but undoubtedly agree with her.

When they all broke the hug, Beatrice kept on looking at the aviator jacket, smiling so bright it’d break the sun as Rooster would say. And speaking of him, the usual ringtone that signaled his messages - a short rendition of Time After Time - popped in, but the others were too busy talking amongst themselves to pay attention.

Once Beatrice grabbed the cellphone , there was no rule preventing them from messaging one another, she immediately grinned when she saw it.

It was Jolene, wearing his sunglasses and giving the camera a doggy smile. It seemed like they were either in one of the boys’ houses or somewhere that allowed dogs because she could see Payback looking at the pittie with a little grin while tipping a bottle to his lips

Roos (17:40)

The boys took her in, she’s our little drink buddy ( she’s only drinking water babe and having nice cuts of meat I swear)

Bea (17:43)

Aw!She looks so happy!Pls don’t get her drunk, she’s our ring bearer, Roos.

The second image she gets is of him and Jolene, this time she’s no long wearing his sunglasses and is sitting on his lap, still doggy smiling as Rooster takes the picture. the half of his face showing his pearly whites as he grins

Beatrice lowered the phone to her lap, then looked out the windows as she saw the sky turn from blue to purples,pinks and reds, the sun slowly disappearing. She turns her eyes to the jacket, following the sewn ‘Mrs.Bradshaw’ on top of the rooster head…yeah…

Soulmates indeed.

Iris Gabriela Lozano was the light of her father’s life, even if she didn’t take his last name. He insisted, for her protection, because he had enemies in high places and he would do anything in his power to protect his child, his precious flower. Her parents were never married, never even really together other than their shared love for Gabriela. It made it easier to hide her out of harm’s way, to become less of a target to those who might try and retaliate against her father.

Gabriela grew up tangentially to the gang life. She was aware of what her father did, even if he never discussed it when he took her out to dinner or spent the day with her. She was fourteen when she learned how deeply her father’s involvement with The Brotherhood ran. Someone figured out the connection between Gabriela and her father and picked her up out of her school. She spent 39 hours huddled in the basement of an abandoned house while a man tried to ransom her off to her father. When the ordeal was finally over, Gabriela and her mother were sent to Arizona, to stay far away from the city and away from the life he was involved in. After that point, Gabriela had very little contact with him, and she begins to go by Gabriela instead of Iris.

She only learns years later that three years after she leaves the city, he finally takes his revenge against the person behind her kidnapping, a fellow gang member who felt threatened by his rise within the ranks of the Brotherhood. The result is his expulsion from the gang, and the creation of the Cortázar Cartel.

Gabriela has no knowledge of any of this, and she spends her teenage years living a very normal and boring life. She goes to public high school and gets accepted into a great university. She rushes a sorority and has her heart broken by her first serious boyfriend after college. She graduates and accepts a job at one of the Big Four accounting firms, auditing and reviewing the financial records of some of the biggest companies in the world. It should be perfect. It’s boring.

Gabriela lasts in that life for almost 8 years, going to work every day and coming home to her cat in the evening. She fits in disturbingly well but feels like she’s living a shadow of a life. The charade breaks in 2019 when she hears of her father for the first time in almost twenty years. Gabriela returns to New York to attend his funeral. She listens to the story of his life, how he was pushed out of the Brotherhood for doing what any man would do when his family is threatened, and how he decided to form his own gang instead. She learns about the Cartel, and instantly finds the connection that she’s been craving for so long. A family and a home that feels real.

Gabriela returns to her hometown and joins the Cartel, starting from the bottom ranks and working her way up. She keeps her heritage quiet, and she wants no favors or handouts, looking to understand her father’s organization how it is meant to be. Gabriela has held various positions within the Cartel, but her training made her the logical fit to handle the gang’s books. She manages the Cartel’s finances from its various revenue sources, both legitimate and illegal, and does what she can to keep the organization afloat. She is watching and biding her time to see how the Cartel grows, determined to ensure that her father’s legacy remains intact.

FROM ANOTHER LIFE - People that Gabriela knew when she was in the “normal” phase of her life as she likes to call it. People she might have known in college or through working at a major accounting firm with big businesses and clients. As far as they know, she stopped updating her LinkedIn and moved on from the white-collar world. But New York is a big city and a major travel hub, so it’s not beyond the realm of possibility to run into someone who knew her in her professional days. SIDE GIGS - She helps out people in the community with their taxes, not only just those affiliated with the Cartel. She primarily does this work for the Latin communities or anyone low-income who may need assistance. She’ll try and save them every cent they have and she doesn’t give a shit about fudging the records a little to get a good deal.

HOOKUPS / FRIENDS - The most meaningful relationship Gabriela has is with her cat, Nico. This isn’t for lack of trying, but it’s hard when she’s part of a gang and also hiding who she really is from said gang. However, it doesn’t stop her from going out and enjoying life however she can. She currently enjoys the anonymity that she has, and would rather people get to know her as herself before making assumptions based on who her father is. She is always one of the first to agree to an adventure (so long as it’s within budget) and isn’t shy about expressing her interest.

THE PAST - People who knew Gabriela when she was known as Iris, before she moved away at fourteen. Again, these people wouldn’t know who she actually is until she reveals it to them. These could include childhood friends she lost touch with, older Brotherhood members who have been around since before the split, someone related to or associated with the Brotherhood member that kidnapped her as a child, etc.

Hadrian’s Perfect Fit

Hadrian is ready to look for love again after having his heart broken on Ada's Bachelorette. The 33 year old stylist admits that the Bachelorette was not his finest moment, and has come to accept that he wasn’t being true to himself. Our newest bachelor is bringing a twist to the traditional challenge - Hadrian is bi with a preference for masc partners. So there may be fewer glamorous dresses this season, but Hadrian assures us there will be plenty of romance. The Bachelor and contestants will spend quite a bit of time traveling to exotic locales as Hadrian is looking for someone to go on adventures with.

YA preferred (for the purpose of this BC that means under 40), Adult submissions will be considered and entered at Hadrian’s discretion

Your sim will need an entry introduction and a backstory/profile that gives me more information to go off of. This BC is a bit of storytelling and gameplay so decisions will not be made purely from results. Eliminated sims may be used as side characters in potential post bc story (but if you want them back feel free to let me know). Also please let me know on the form if your sim is okay with getting pregnant or getting others pregnant (or neither or both) since mpreg is an option in my saves. I will do my best to properly interpret your sim’s personality, but this is going to be my best guess based on what you give me.

On the morning of the 5th, Charlotte woke up even earlier with a bursting bladder and a growling stomach. Unable to pin-point on what caused her feeling so poorly, she blamed it on her flu which she knew how to take care of.

The Landgraabs

Meanwhile, at home, Charlotte is preparing hard for her audition. She knows how difficult it’s gonna be considering the sitcom’s reputation and even though her Landgraab identity gets her past most auditions, this one will not happen in a similar way. Ever since Johnny Zest and Vasyl Abrams, the most influential couple in the sitcom industry, took over the writing and direction for the show, its quality has not been compromised in the slightest. And it sure will not do so to impress a Landgraab.

To be completely honest, comedy is not Charlotte’s thing. It does not come to her naturally. So she made sure to read the book ‘Getting the Jokes’ sent to her from the agency. And then she decided to watch a few episodes of the show to internalize the overall vibe. Not that she hasn’t watched them before, but you know…

Past noon, when Charlotte still didn’t see Malcolm coming over for lunch, she decided to sign up for a comedy lecture taking place in Oasis Springs auditorium. Of course, she got herself a seat in the premium panel. Sitting with the masses is not safe for her anymore now that everybody in town knows who she is.

The Nonchalant Girl

January third in 2006 A baby girl Jeslyn Gale C. Pabia was born to a world ablaze with curiosity, Gale is a happy child, loves to explore new experiences and knowledge that she wants to know and explore. In Gale’s journey she’s been through a lot, still she’s the girl who bravely faces the roller coasters she’s going through. We know Gale is a girl who loves to explore but we don’t know that she is understanding, patient, hardworking and most of all kind but, but, but she doesn’t want to be called kind, isn’t it funny hahaha, the people who meet Gale first think that she is mataray, rude and rude because if they look at me, their thought is really true. But if you get to know Gale everything you first thought about her and it’s all the other way around, Gale has many people who don’t get along because they think I’m mataray and rude,instead that they will continue to disagree with me, they recognize me and they become my friends.

Since I was a child, I wanted to become a flight attendant, because I like to go everywhere, and one of my reasons why I want to become a flight attendant is because I really appreciate the beauty of every place I go to. But Gale changed her dreams, it became wider and higher when she he had a young sister Jace, Jace and I like to go everywhere, and we like to eat and most of all our favourite thing to watch every afternoon is the sunset, sunset is so beautiful, sunset is our happiness.

Gale is soft hearted, if you look at her it’s not obvious, Gale’s ultimate happiness is only superficial so just remember that this is her favourite passion or even just give her candy I’m so happy, she’s so happy, yes ,yes I know that at my current age of 18 years old I feel like a child, because when I was young I didn’t express my feelings all the time. Gale is not a sweet or nonchalant girl, but the simple things of buying food, giving gifts or anything else are where she shows her love, if it is called giving gifts, that is her love language. And Gale doesn’t want someone who doesn’t trust her, dominates her and above all, what she doesn’t want the most is to hear from other people who are angry, annoyed at her, She prefers it to be addressed directly to her, and yes that’s me that’s Gale.

Jovelyn C. Pabia is the only child of Josefa B. Cama and Leovigildo G. Cama, born on October 3,1984 and

she’s 39 years old, Jovy is a nice person but she doesn’t want to be called nice but she would love to call

her a maldita or mataray.Jovy is intelligent, diligent, strategic, and patient when learning. She is not only

intelligent or strategic when learning, but she is also skilled at debating, interacting with others, and a

host of other skills. She may not be talented in singing or dancing, but when Jovy is your partner, your

mind will be blown. She finds it difficult to respond to queries about her talent and is never quite sure

what to say when they are posed. She attended Tambo Elementary School for her elementary education,

Blessed Elena for her high school education, and the Philippine Christian University (PCU) for her college

education. He pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Jovy is smart, hardworking, strategic and patient in her studies, not only is she smart or strategic in her

studies she is also good even in anything, just like debating, communicating with people and many more,

not only did she have the talent to sing or dance, but your mind will be exposed when Jovy is your

counterpart. Whenever she is asked what her talent is, she doesn’t quite know what to answer, for her

it’s one of the questions he has a hard time answering. She went to elementary school at Tambo

Elementary School and when she went to high school he finished studying at Blessed Elena and when

she went to college she studied at the Philippine Christian University or (PCU). She took a Bachelor of

Administration Major in Banking and Finance course but her desired course did not materialize. Because

if her parents allow her, she may be more in a deluge because she suddenly faints so she understood

that he could not get her most desired course just because he has leukemia and a hole was found in her

heart from the beginning when she was young, and most people don’t know that she received many

opportunities but could not because of her illness, just like she was injured in UP Diliman and wanted to

practice law there but could not because of her illness . So she became a Bachelor of Administration

Major in Banking and Finance and he finished college at PCU.

Because of Jovy’s smart, strategic, hardworking character, many men like her not only because she is

smart because she proved the term beauty with a brain, when she went back to the province to attend

her cousin’s wedding and she a Maid of honor if called, her aunt who is the bridegroom’s mother said

she has someone to introduce to the man and it is said to be a teacher, and it is Jesus L. Pabia and at the

wedding they are going to, Jess is a Best man of the cousin’s bridegroom of Jovy when Jovy met the man

he didn’t want to because he didn’t want a provincial, but Jesus or (Jess) as he was called was really

attracted to Jovy right away but he has the competence of the mayor’s daughter in Bicol. When Jess and

the mayor’s son found out, they played a 1v1 basketball game, and when Jess won, he only told the

mayor’s son that he was going to stay away from this girl from Manila, Jovy, and eventually not Jovy

knew that Jess was the cousin of his cousin’s wife and the day came when Jovy was going to leave Manila

again, but Jess really didn’t hold back because he was actually waiting for her at the bus terminal, and It

didn’t take long for Jess to follow manila, and he courted Jovy but they became an LDR if you could call it

that. Until they became husband and wife and the cause of how they knew their cousins became their

made of honor and best man as well.

At the age of 21, Jovy got married and had a child, his 2 children are Jeslyn Gale C. Pabia and Jace

Gabrielle C. Pabia, Gale is 18 years old and Jace is five years old, in her life, her life force is his family, his

journeys have not been easy because she has reached a point in his life that seems like a boundary

(taning )if you call it but because Jovy has become strong and strong she continued and she continued

and fought for his life, but look at Jovy now, Jovy is far away from what she used to be, because she

believes that as long as there is life, there is hope and if you keep going through problems that will not

end, then what will you do? It will be solved If you don’t face it to finish.

The Innocent Child

We all have our hardships or what we go through in our lives, but at the age of five years old until now eighteen years old, doesn't it seem like it's early for me to experience things like that? Five years old if we think about that age we usually see on the street to play, at a young age the only thing they usually think about is playing, having fun and mixing with children, but Jeslyn Gale yes, I'm Jeslyn Gale who at a young age is already experiencing things that a child should never experience, hear or see.

I am experiencing something that should never be experienced, just like seeing your parents fight in front of you, and throw words that an innocent child should not hear. It was not easy for me to experience something like that because it reached the point where I saw my father laceration in front of me, it was not easy for me, because of what I went through caused trauma, like just by holding a knife, just by raising a voice on me,I started panicking and crying, those who know me know that I am afraid of knives but they don't know the reason, what made me afraid of knives because I saw my father laceration and I saw the flow of my father's blood.

In my experiences I have learned to be strong and stay away and never imitate their actions and path again, I will change my path and I will fix it better and I will try so that I will not experience something like that again, and if I make a family no I will not let my future child experience what I went through, because not all people are strong or strong. So what I learned is to be wise with the people you deal with or be with because they can be the cause of your strength or weakness. Until now, Gale is still strong.

One day it was spent by Gen. Pantaleon Garcia SHS students for their educational field trip, and I am one of the fellow students who participated in the educational Field Trip. Let me tell you a story or share our experiences, experiences or experiences on our educational field trip.

On the morning of March 23,2024 the day is set for the educational field trip, on the morning is the time of punching in St. John’s. Joseph the Worker Parish near Ospital of Imus for the assembly, and after you finished it 5:30 am is our departure to our first destination in NUVALI park in Santa Rosa Laguna.

NUVALI park is one of this An ecological-developing community in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Nuvali is more than a stopover station. Although many of those traveling further south are often passing through and enjoying the area, many citizens have also made it their only destination. For those just waiting for a quick meal, Nuvali’s Solenad home to many food options and retail stores is the last stopover place. For those thinking to enjoy more of the created Nuvali may have their crowded streets, bike trails, the 4-hectare multifunctional lake, the Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary, tree nursery and demo farm, The Fields and Nuvani, and the Repulic Wakepark. And there are many famous meals and food options in Nuvali. Some of the foods included Max’s, Uncle Cheffy, Tonkatsu by Terazawa, Italianni’s, Blackbeard’s Seafood Island, Domo Tomo, ClawDaddy’s Great American Picnic, Crisostomo and Chubby’s Rib Shack.

When we finished our trip to NUVALI, we set out for our second trip, to Rizal Shrine. The Rizal Shrine is a copy of the original two-bedroom, castle-colonial style house in Calamba, Laguna where José Rizal was born on June 19, 1861.Rizal is considered one of the great heroes of the Philippines.Rizal Shrine features his equipment and a bulletin board containing information about Rizal.The house has been designated as a National Dambana by the Philippine National Historical Commission. It is situated along Mercado Street and Rizal Street in Poblacion 5 of Calamba and close to the Church of the Parish of San Juan Bautista and the Dalubhasaang Panl country of Clamba. José Rizal was a very intelligent Filipino who lived in the late 1800s. He speaks over 20 languages and his scientific pursuits covered many disciplines, where he excels in medicine, philosophy, and literature. Rizal has the ability to be a doctor. Specializing in ophthalmology, he placed a successful practice in Hong Kong and used his medical skills to help those in need.

After we went to Rizal Shrine we also stopped over at the fast food chains and had a good time with our friends eating our food with us at the salo salo one of our teachers in philosophy subject is Sir Jason Esmejarda, and after we had finished eating our meal we bought other meals from the women who were selling the meals, and I decided to buy a box of puto before you buy it you can first be sure that they call it free taste, and when we finished buying we immediately returned to our bus that took off to get out and back to the Enchanted Kingdom.

When we arrived in Enchanted Kingdom (E.K) we ten friends will be riding on the rides, and the first we hit was the disco magic this is one of the extreme rides in Ek, and really really really scary really second ride that we did is the extreme drop tower, the extremed drop towers it is 150ft the height, and when you are on top of the tower you will really see the whole enchanted kingdom and beautiful views but when it suddenly descends that, it seems that your soul is left at the top of tower because shocked, frightened and brighter feel your feelings if you are there. The Golden hour

Sunset, a blooming sunflower under neat in a sea filled with peace and prosperity. A sky that gives you light feeling that everything is gonna be alright. Peace is what I feel when I closed my eyes. The sound of the sea shore, the air brushing my hair. Sitting in a bench alone, flapping my legs and only hearing the chirping birds and the sound of the sea. What a day it is, the feeling of sun in my face and a humming voice of mine. A peace that brings me into thoughts that clears my mind. Chaotic world become silent, roaming voice became silent and and it’s all just been you in those moments you feel at most alive.

As the golden hour descends upon the land, painting the sky with strokes of amber and tangerine, the world prepares for the ritualistic spectacle that is the sunset. Here, amidst the quietude of nature’s symphony, one finds solace in the transient beauty that unfolds before their eyes.

Standing at the edge of the shore, where the horizon kisses the sea, I am enraptured by the ethereal dance of light and shadow. The sun, like a weary traveller bidding farewell to the day, sinks gracefully, casting elongated shadows that stretch across the landscape like silken threads.

I stand on the threshold between day and night, I am reminded of the impermanence of all things, and yet, of the enduring splendour that resides within each passing moment. For in the tapestry of existence, the sunset remains a timeless masterpiece, a symphony of light and colour that speaks to the very essence of the human spirit.

There is a girl named Jeslyn Gale C. She’s a young girl who’s anxious and happy to be with her, and she’s always looking after her grandmother, and if she doesn’t care about her, she can’t be a superhero or my second granddaughter, but I don’t know who she is.

Lola is my guardian whenever I am afflicted, Lola will always be there when I am needed.

My grandmother taught me that every time you walked up you needed to stand up or stand up to be strong, my grandfather teached me to be a strong, strong and beautiful child. My grandma’s growing up calm was something I couldn’t forget, not because she was the one who walked down but because she did teach me that I needed to be tough and steady in life, because she didn’t always stand up she or they stood there so she teaches me to stand on my own feet.

Lola was my moment, my moment and moment whenever I was feeling bad or ill, lola was always standing when I needed it, the lola taught me to stand on my own feet every time I was sick. She always stood there and I couldn’t forget it.

Lola even once did we lose or did not understand but we and Lola did understand, when she cut white hair (pag uuban) it seemed as if she had lost her hair, Lola though little thing was fun. My grandmother always takes care of me whenever I feel like I wasn’t calm or I was sick. Lola was happy whenever I had awarded or achieved something I wanted, whether small or large, Lola is proud of me.

Thank you lola for always standing there, I don’t know if I should start if you are not, my thanks to you will never be forgiven of what you have done for me, in all the sacrifices, dedication and experiences you experienced in me as a child. You know I can’t express that person not sweet but you know you love me. Thank you so much for always standing by my side.

Whenever I look in your eyes, as though I don’t know what I feel, every time I look into your eyes as if they were talking to me. The eyes talk when you look at it. The Bachelor Finale

Welcome back to the Landgraab mansion where the competition has reached it's conclusion. Everyone has gathered outside for the final ring ceremony. All of the scores for the last two weeks have been tallied and there is a clear and definite winner. A sim who did more for the harmony of the home and made the Bachelor felt loved while he bestowed his affections on them. That sim was not Sooty.

Soot had always been the Watchers favorite well once her first pick died tragically and Sooty always seemed to be trying her hardest to become the next Mrs. Landgraab. With the final round however Sooty just seemed to no longer be interested in any of it anymore. Only scoring 16 points not even half of the top contestant. Ultimately it seems she just gave up. Onyx may be a psychopath but he is isn't heartless. Sooty had clearly been in it to win it for a long time so he wished her the best for her future.

The next two contestants to be let go were neck and neck in the final tally scoring 21 and 23 and so they were let go together.

These two had both been giving their all since they entered the mansion so it was fitting they would be losers together. But really one couldn't be expected to break up two sims finding love in the most insane place imaginable.

Now that they were free of their contract they were finally able to act upon those feeling that everyone had noticed and they were contractually obligated not to show.

That left the presenting of the ring to the clear winner. The final entrant but the sim whodefinitely showed the fiercest competitive spirit and drive to be Mrs. Landgraab, Yvette.

Even the Watcher has to admit they seem almost destined to be together. Ever since she became a presence in the house Alvin has been enamored and she seems just as infatuated with him. The future is for them.

Not to mention her score of 39, nearly doubling and completely decimating the competition proves her dedication to this man and the Landgraab name. With her mother winning the day that means Queen will be heir. Becoming the first female heir in the family. It's almost as if her mother knew her fate when she chose to name her child.

With the competition over things in the mansion could become much more normal and routine.

The children begin to thrive and the Landgraabs soon feel like their namesake again when they once hire staff to deal with the more menial tasks that are not meant for their fingers.

From this point things do indeed become more routine.

With special attention of course given to the Queen.

The other kids don't seem to mind, they get their time with their dad when they can.

In fact they even enjoy spoiling the little queen themselves. She is just that loveable.

The happy couple of such a large brood decided to not have a big wedding event. Just getting to this stage was enough work so they took a few hours to head to the city and tie the knot at the romance festival. Yvette really doesn't have a lot of time between school and working with her dance team to plan a proper traditional wedding. It's a good thing she is our winner because some of these sims are just hopeless. Not even learning anything after death.

Queen of hearts of running to an end as the next Queen grows up and becomes that much closer to taking over her familial responsibilities.

Duchess and her are ready for the new stage of life.

Looks like the kids really are going to be alright.

Steve Jenkins Named 2023 Harry Statham Coach of Impact Award Winner

Steve Jenkins Named 2023 Harry Statham Coach of Impact Award Winner Kansas City, MO – Small College Basketball is excited to announce Steve Jenkins of Evangel University, as the 2023 Harry Statham Coach of Impact Award winner. Coach Jenkins is the fourth recipient of the prestigious Harry Statham Coach of Impact Award. Harry Statham had this to say about Coach Jenkins:

“Coach Jenkins was an outstanding athlete in basketball, baseball and golf at Evangel and become a tremendous coach an role model for his athletes,” stated Statham. “He personified unselfishness, loyalty and hard work.”

Coach Jenkins led the Evangel University Crusaders for 39 years, retiring after the 2020-21 season. During his decorated career he compiled a record of 692-542, which ranked fourth among active NAIA men’s basketball coaches at the time of his retirement and 21st on the organizations all-time wins list. Coach Jenkins had this to say about being named the 2023 Harry Statham Coach of Impact Award winner:

“How can you be a “Coach of Impact” without belonging to a fraternity of coaches who have impacted your life, leading the way inspiring and pushing you to somehow not only beat them but be like them,” stated Jenkins. “From day one of my collegiate coaching career Harry Statham has been such an inspiration to me. I’ve looked up to Harry as a brother would longingly look up to his big brother wanting to beat him as much as he loved him.”

Coach Jenkins started his career at Evangel as a student-athlete. During his collegiate career, Coach Jenkins earned four baseball and three basketball letters. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and physical education and later went on to earn a Master’s Degree from the University of South Florida.

Coach Jenkins started his coaching career at Evangel Christian School in Lakeland, FL from 1974-76, he not only coached basketball, but also baseball. He then returned to his alma mater as an Assistant Coach in 1977, before taking over as the Head Coach before the 1982-83 season. Evangel Athletic Director Dr. Dennis McDonald had this to say about Coach Jenkins:

“As great of a coach as Steve Jenkins is, he is an even better Christian man, husband, father and grandfather,” stated McDonald. “He truly is a great man. That is what led to his enormous success as a coach. We should all follow his example of leadership and put faith, family and community ahead of our job as coaches. Steve is very deserving of all the awards he has received in his many years of dedicated service to people and he is very deserving of the Harry Statham Coach of Impact Award. The impact that Steve Jenkins made not only at Evangel, but in the Springfield community cannot be understated.”

Coach Jenkins led the Crusaders to seven Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships and 13 NAIA national tournament appearances. He was named the Heart Coach of the Year seven times and was named the NAIA Coach of the Year in 2002 after leading the Crusaders to the NAIA Division II National Championship. During the historic 2002 season Evangel finished with a record of 35-1, including a undefeated 20-0 conference record. En route to the National Championship, the Crusaders went wire to wire as the number one ranked team in the country and won their second Heart Tournament championship.

In 2014, Coach Jenkins was inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame, becoming just the second Evangel recipient of the award. Coach Jenkins is also a member of the Evangel Athletics Hall of Fame. Furthermore, Coach Jenkins was inducted into the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2013 and the Springfield Area Sports Hall of Fame in 2011. Coach Jenkins added this about the award:

“This honor comes at a time in my life when memories are fading daily but the love and respect that Harry and I have for each other is as strong as ever and will never fade,” mentioned Jenkins. “We can only pray that our profession keeps the life values we have learned from each other and passed along to our student-athletes in order to equip the next generation of have a impactful life.”

Coach Jenkins mentored six different players on their way to the Heart Player of the Year, along with two Freshman of the Year, four Newcomer of the Year and one Defensive Player of the Year. Thirty-three players were named NAIA All – American, including ten after NAIA Division II was eliminated.

Jenkins also coached the Evangel baseball team from 1978-1983, finishing with a record of 132-97- 3. He also guided the Evangel’s men’s golf team, being named Heart Coach of the Year in 2010 and 2012 and led the Crusaders to their first conference championship in 2012.

The purpose of the Harry Statham Coach of Impact Award is to honor a Coach that has used the power of the coaching platform to make a positive impact on players, coaches, and others. The Coach will be a person of high character and integrity who has served as an excellent role model, and who has deeply impacted the lives of others.

The annual winner of the Harry Statham Coach of Impact Award must have coached at the small college level for a majority of his career, and must have a high degree of personal character and integrity. The Coach may be a current or former Coach, and Small College Basketball will honor a living Coach with this award annually. In 2019 Bob Burchard, former Athletic Director and Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Columbia (MO), was named the inaugural award winner. Concordia’s Ken Ammann was named as the winner in 2020, and there was no winner in 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Steve Ridder of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical was named the winner in 2022.

The award is named after Harry Statham, former Head Basketball Coach at McKendree University. Coach Statham is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Basketball Hall of Fame. Upon the conclusion of his 52-year career at McKendree, Coach Statham’s 1,122 wins were the most by any men’s or women’s coach at a four-year college or university in the United States The only other coaches at a four-year institution with 1,000 wins are Pat Summitt, Danny Miles, Mike Krzyzewski, Herb Magee, Dave Holmquist, Tara VanDerveer, Geno Auriemma and Sylvia Hatchell.

Henry Mancini

Henry Mancini was an American composer, conductor, arranger, pianist and flutist. Often cited as one of the greatest composers in the history of film, he won four Academy Awards, a Golden Globe, and twenty Grammy Awards, plus a posthumous Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1995. His works include the theme and soundtrack for the Peter Gunn television series, as well as the music for The Pink Panther film series ("The Pink Panther Theme") and "Moon River" from Breakfast at Tiffany's. The Music from Peter Gunn, Mr. Lucky, won the inaugural Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Mancini enjoyed a long collaboration in composing film scores for the film director Blake Edwards. Mancini also scored a No. 1 hit single during the rock era on the Hot 100: his arrangement and recording of the "Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet" spent two weeks at the top, starting with the week ending June 28, 1969. In 1996, the Henry Mancini Institute, an academy for young music professionals, was founded by Jack Elliott in Mancini's honor, and was later under the direction of composer-conductor Patrick Williams. By the mid-2000s, however, the institute could not sustain itself and closed its doors on December 30, 2006. The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) Foundation "Henry Mancini Music Scholarship" has been awarded annually since 2001. In 2005, the Henry Mancini Arts Academy was opened as a division of the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center. The center is located in Midland, Pennsylvania, minutes away from Mancini's hometown of Aliquippa. The Henry Mancini Arts Academy is an evening-and-weekend performing arts program for children from pre-K to grade 12, with some classes also available for adults. The program includes dance, voice, musical theater, and instrumental lessons. The American Film Institute ranked Mancini's songs "Moon River" No. 4 and "Days of Wine and Roses" No. 39 on their list of the greatest songs, and his score for The Pink Panther No. 20 on their list of the greatest film scores.
