are you telling me these two siblings who canonically love fashion never made one dramatic appearance in a kurta or a lehenga or anything????? they can make a billion jokes about ian being english but not one reference to him being indian??? mentioning tea at every paragraph but never chai??? there were many opportunities of giving it a shout out at the very least but the fact that it's completely overlooked except for brief ambiguous passages is outrageous

Russian guy in a 80's american town, lets half the words out when he does speak, is best friend with two bullies (now redeemed) and roommate with their main victim (now... er... let's say he's friend with his former bullies because diving deeper will get WAAAAY too complicated)
