hello hello can you please do a fic about autistic!reader who has auditory sensory issues, specifically where they get incredibly anxious when those around them are loud when it’s not very socially acceptable to be so? and so when reader, dealer!remus, and very high james and sirius go out to dinner (or anywhere in public really), james and sirius are very loud and reader is anxious about it and remus has to remind j and s to quiet down?

idk if that makes sense. its super specific but it’s a huge problem for me and I never usually say anything about it, but I feel like remus would <3 I love your autistic reader it makes me so happy, especially them with remus <333

“It’s very loud,” Remus heads you through gritted teeth as you stab at your chips.

It’s pub quiz night so the probability of the bar being overly loud and crowded had been high, but you hadn’t wanted to rain on James and Sirius’ high parade and joined them.

You’re regretting your decision the longer the quiz goes without them getting a si gel answer correct, yet shouting their wrong answers across the pub.

Remus can tell you’re a couple minutes from just bursting into either tears of frustration or just leaving altogether.

“James, you’re screaming mate,” Remus says as he steals a piece of your cod. “Sirius you’re not far backward either. The point of the game isn’t the shout your answers.”

You send him a grateful smile when he gets the boys to quiet down, but the ‘peace’ doesn’t last for much longer than three minutes when some bloke’s shoulder checks Sirius’ and he’s halfway out his seat screaming profanities.

“Siri, James, let’s go.” Remus hauls them both up and shoots you an apologetic look before closing up your box and leaving some bills on the table.

“We were having fun Remmy, why did you have to be a spoil sport?” James’ talking voice is a mix between a screeching owl and a whine that reaches hz you’re not attuned to.

“Because you’re heckling and you’re being raucous and it’s stressing y/n out,” it’s then that the boys look at you and find you look piqued- even though you hadn’t had anything to drink or smoke.

“I’m sorry, angel,” James at least has the gall to look apologetic and when Sirius turns your face to his, you swear he might cry just seeing how uncomfortable you look.

“Sorry dollface, forgot we were being so loud,” his voice is a stark difference now, whispers where he’d been screaming. “Can we go to the chippy Moons? Fancy a fried cod and mushy peas.”

As you all file in the car, you let James and Sirius share the little left of your own fish and chips and Remus kisses your temple as he drives off.

“Music?” He asks and you shake your head. He didn’t think so either.

“Can we drive with the windows down? It’s nice and chilly tonight.”

“Whatever you want, baby.”

like full disclosure, i have no money. i have no income anymore. i’m not doing well, i’m barely able to take care of myself physically.

the weed photos i post on this blog are either old, or it’s cannabis i got for free with purchases from the dispensary last year when i was able to afford to still go to the dispensary. (which is nearly gone at this point) like i’m not living frivolously in the slightest.

[333 – 334] Swablu and Altaria — Swablu’s claim to Sound-typing is based on Disarming Voice and Sing being parts of its learnset via level up. The better justification, however, can be found in its evolution, Altaria. Altaria is one of the few Pokémon to naturally learn Perish Song (alongside several other species that will be appearing on this list). In addition to being classified as the Humming Pokémon, its Pokédex entries all describe its melodic soprano voice in detail, and how it instills wonder and awe in its listeners. Conversely, if provoked, Altaria threatens its attackers with shrill cries.

[401 – 402] Kricketot and Kricketune — Reclassifying these two as Sound-types isn’t just based on their in-universe lore, but their real-world premise, too. Crickets are widely-recognized for their complex, diverse chirps, created through a process called stridulation. In addition to resembling their namesake insect, both Pokémon incorporate instruments into their designs. Kricketot’s body has elements of a string instrument (likely a lyre), and when its antennae click together, they produce a sound akin to a xylophone. Kricketune’s torso appears to be a violin, with its arms functioning as a bow.

[441] Chatot — It’s a parrot with a head that resembles an eighth note, a tail that looks like a metronome, and its signature move is Chatter. It’s practically the damn poster child for Sound-type.

[527 – 528] Woobat and Swoobat — When talking about what Pokémon can be classified as Sound-types, it’s a common argument that all of the bat Pokémon should be collectively rebranded. You can take it or leave it with these two, but personally, I think they both work as Sound-types. Woobat’s Pokédex entries consistently talk about how it navigates its environment (dark caves and forests) using ultrasonic waves. This goes double for Swoobat, who not only hunts using ultrasonic frequencies, but whose sound waves are powerful enough to obliterate concrete.

[535 – 537] Tympole, Palpitoad, and Seismitoad — When I first started doing research for this project, I was surprised to see them appear on multiple people’s lists. Imagine my shock when I learned that all three Pokémon (their names, their appearances, and their learnsets) heavily incorporate sound. Tympole’s eyebrows are made to look like quarter notes, and the bumps (the warts, or parotoid glands) on the side of its head are actually headphones. Palpitoad’s and Seismitoad’s warts are meant to resemble loudspeaker drivers. All three have access to sound-based moves—like Echoed Voice, Hyper Voice, Round, and Uproar—and the etymology for their names includes seismic waves, palpitations, and tympanums/timpani (drums). As for why I kept their Ground-typing rather than their Water—solid matter transmits sound faster than liquids. I wanted them to retain the type that best complimented their new Sound-typing.

[648] Meloetta — Meloetta is another fairly obvious candidate for a type change, given that music is its entire gimmick. Its two forms—Aria and Pirouette—are based on a singer and a dancer, respectively, and are switched between via its signature move, Relic Song.

[714, 715] Noibat and Noivern — Out of all the bat Pokémon, these two have the greatest justification for being reclassified. Their names (noise bat and noise wyvern) reinforce their appearances, which include ears stylized to resemble loudspeakers. Noivern makes use of ultrasound to hunt, while Noibat’s Pokédex entries take it a step further: Its sound waves reach 200,000 Hz. For the record, the frequency range that humans can hear at is between 0 Hz and 20,000 Hz. That’s a 900% increase. If any Pokémon merits a Sound-typing, it’s these two.

[741] Oricorio — Out of all the Pokémon on this list, Oricorio probably has the weakest claim to Sound-typing. Its premise has more to do with dancing than singing, and the only sound-based move it actually learns is Growl. But I already gave Meloetta’s Pirouette Form a pass, and honestly, there’s something about Oricorio being part Sound-type that feels right. If you squint your eyes then you could reason that dancing is usually accompanied by music, so the connection’s definitely there, albeit heavily implied.

Hatay ülkemizin en eski yerleşim bölgelerinden biri ve Türkiye’nin en güneyinde yer alan ilidir. İlin batısı Akdeniz’le, güneyi ve doğusu Suriye toprakları ile çevrilmiştir.

Bölge, tarihi boyunca başta Hititler olmak üzere çeşitli milletlere ev sahipliği yapmıştır. Amik Ovası geçmiş medeniyetlerin kalıntılarını barındıran höyüklerle doludur.

İlimizin iki önemli kentinden İskenderun MÖ 333 yılında, Antakya ise M.Ö 300 yılında kurulmuştur. Seleukoslar döneminde başkent olan Antakya hızla gelişmiş, büyük ve zengin bir kent olmuştur. MÖ ikinci yüzyılda Antakya’da bölgesel olimpiyatlar düzenlenmeye başlamış, bu olimpiyatlar. MS 6. yüzyılın ilk yarısına kadar sürmüştür.1

Seleukosların başkenti Antakya ve çevresi MÖ 64 yılında Romalılar tarafından zapt edilir. Romalılar döneminde Kudüs’te ortaya çıkan Hristiyanlık ilk defa Antakya’da yayılır. Hz. İsa’ya inananlara “Hristiyan” adı ilk defa Antakya’da verilir, Hristiyanlığın ilk kilisesi yine Antakya’da kurulur. Bu yüzden, Antakya’nın Hristiyanlık tarihinde çok özel bir yeri vardır.2

Roma döneminde İmparatorluğun doğu başkenti olan Antakya, 360 burçlu, yüksek, sağlam ve aşılması zor surlarıyla ünlüydü ve 750 bin nüfusuyla o zaman Roma ve İskenderiye’den sonraimparatorluğun 3. büyük şehriydi. Anadolu’dan geçip Afrika, Arabistan ve Hindistan’a giden bütün anayollar ve İpek Yolu Antakya’dan geçiyor, İskenderun ve Süveydiye (Samandağ)limanları bölgenin ihracat ve ithalatında, dolayısıyla refahında büyük rol oynuyordu. Bu dönemde Antakya, zeminleri mozaiklerle süslü, gösterişli köşklerle, saray ve hamamlarla donanmış, etrafı geniş, yüksek ve muazzam surlarla çevrilmiş muhteşem bir şehirdi. Çağlayanlarıyla ünlü Defne, yani bugünküHarbiye, imparatorluğun en ünlü sayfiye merkeziydi.

Muhteşem Antakya kenti zamanla depremler ve işgallerle harap duruma düştü. Özellikle 526 yılında yaşanan ve 250 ya da 300 bin kişinin öldüğü deprem, kent tarihindeki en büyük felaketlerden biriydi.3

638 yılında İslam orduları tarafından zapt edilen Antakya, daha sonra 969’da Bizanslıların, 1084 yılında Anadolu Selçuklularının, 1098 yılında Haçlı ordularının eline geçti. 1268 yılında Memlüklü devleti tarafından fethedilen kent ve çevresi 1516 yılında Osmanlı idaresi altına girdi.4

Osmanlı döneminde Bursa, Manisa, Ankara, Konya gibi, örnek ve tipik bir Osmanlı şehri olan Antakya, huzurlu bir yerleşim yeri, çarşıları, bedesteni ve hanlarıyla aynı zamanda canlı bir tarım, ticaret ve transit merkeziydi. Bu dönemde zeytinyağı, sabun ve ipek bölgenin en önemli ürünleriydi. Dokumacılık ve el sanatları gelişmişti.

Antakya’nın bu huzurlu dönemi I. Dünya Savaşı’na kadar sürdü. Şehir savaş görmedi, ama savaş yılları sıkıntılarla dolu geçti. Cephelerde de şartlar hep Türk Ordusu’nun aleyhindeydi. Sonuçta 30 Ekim 1918 tarihinde Mondros Mütarekesi imzalandı. Mondros Mütarekesi’nin hemen ardından, başta Yıldırım Orduları Grubu Kumandanı Mustafa Kemal Paşa olmak üzere Türk komutanlarının ve idarecilerinin şiddetle direnmelerine rağmen, ordumuz silah bırakıp cepheden çekilmek zorunda kaldı.5

Ordularımızın cephelerden çekilişi bir boyun eğme ya da teslimiyet değildi. Çünkü Türk ordusunun geliştirdiği yeni savunma anlayışında böyle bir yaklaşıma izin yoktu. 19. yüzyıl sonlarına kadar ordu savaşlarda yenilip çekildiğinde, halk da yerini terk edip yeni sınırların gerisine çekilirken ve çekilmeyenler katliamlarla yok edilirken, II. Meşrutiyet döneminde ortaya çıkan Türk milliyetçiliği kavramı ile bu gelenekselleşmiş uygulama da değişime uğramıştı. Özellikle 20. yüzyıl başlarında, Osmanlı ordusu çekilirken, terk edilen yerlerde halk yerinde kalmaya, örgütler kurarak işgalci güçlere karşı direnmeye teşvik edilmiş, hatta çekilen ordunun depolarındaki silahlardan bir kısmı halka dağıtılmıştı. Güney bölgelerinden çekilme ve istiklâl mücadelesinin başlangıç günlerinde bu uygulamanın en son örneği Urfa, Antep, Kilis bölgelerinin boşaltılması ile İskenderun Sancağı olayında yaşanmış, ordu bölgeden çekilince şehir olarak ya da silahlanıp çeteler oluşturarak direnişe geçen Türk halkı bu boşluğu doldurmaya çalışmıştır.

Savaşın bitiminde, Mondros Mütarekesi’nin imzalanışından 15 gün sonra bu topraklar galip devletler tarafından ilk işgal edilen yer oldu.(İskenderun, 14.11.1918). İşgalci düşmana ilk kurşun 19 Aralık 1918’de Dörtyol’da atıldı.6

Önce İngiliz ve Fransızlarca birlikte işgal edilen ve “İskenderun Sancağı” adı verilen bölge, 1919 yılında Fransızların kontrolüne geçti. Kuseyr (Altınözü), Ordu (Yayladağı) ve Amik bölgelerinde Türk çeteleri işgalci güçlerle amansız bir mücadeleye girişti. Bu mücadeleye ve Mustafa Kemal Paşa’nın çabalarına rağmen bölge, 1921 yılında Türkiye ile işgalci Fransa arasında imzalanan Ankara İtilafnamesi ile sınırlarımız dışında ve Suriye içinde kaldı.7

Ama İtilafname ile özerk bir bölge haline getirilen Sancak’ta yaşayan Türklerin kültürel gelişme hakları da korundu. Bu sayede Antakya Lisesi’nde eğitim-öğretim Türkçe devam etti.

İşgale karşı sürdürdüğü mücadeleye rağmen Türkiye sınırları dışında kalan Antakya, İskenderun ve havalisinde Türkiye önce Türklerin göç yoluyla bölgeyi terk etmeleri önlenmiş, daha sonra örgütlenmelerine yardımcı olunarak kurtuluş mücadelesinin temelleri daha o zamandan atılmıştır. Bu öz Türk bölgesi Türkiye sınırları dışında kalmış, ama M. Kemal Paşa bu bölgeden asla vazgeçmemişti. 15 Mart 1923 yılında ziyaret ettiği Adana’da “Kırk asırlık Türk Yurdu düşman elinde esir kalamaz” diyerek bölge halkına kurtuluş vaat etti. İşgal idaresince İskenderun Sancağı adı verilen bölge ile sonraki yıllarda sürekli olarak ve yakından ilgilendi.

1926 yılında İskenderun Sancağı’nın bağımsızlık girişimi yarıda kaldı. Ama aynı yılın ortalarında Antakya’da Türkler lehine bir gelişme sağlandı ve Genç Spor Kulübü kuruldu. Bu kulüp her yönüyle gençler için bir okul görevi yaptı.8

1928 yılında Sancak’ın ilk Türkçe dergisi ve Türklerin nâşir-i efkârı olan Yeni Mecmua yayımlanmaya başladı.9

Yine 1928 yılında Antakya’daki Türkler, işgal altında yaşamalarına, eğitim kurumlarında ve günlük hayatta eski harfleri kullanmak zorunda olmalarına rağmen Türkiye ile birlikte yeni Türk alfabesini öğrenmeye başladılar, bu amaçla halka yönelik, yeni harflerle Türkçe okuma-yazma kursları açtılar.10

Aynı yıl Türkiye’ye paralel olarak Antakya’da da yeni harflerle okuma yazma kursları açıldı. Atatürk’ün Özel Kalem Müdürü olan ve o yıl Dörtyol’a gelen Hasan Rıza Bey (Soyak), orada Fransızlar tarafından mahkûm edildiği için memleketine gidemeyen Karamürselzade Tayfur Bey (Sökmen) ile tanıştı, İskenderun Sancağı Türklerinin dertlerini anlattı ve bu hususun Mustafa Kemal Paşa’ya iletilmesini, kendileriyle ilgilenilmesini istedi. Konunun Cumhurreisi Mustafa Kemal Paşa’ya intikali kurtuluş sürecinin başlangıcı oldu.11

1933 yılında, Cumhuriyet’in onuncu yılı Sancak’taki Türkler tarafından da kutlandı.12

1934 yılı Sancak’ta yaşayan Türkler için adeta şapka yılı oldu ve Türkiye yanlılarının alâmet-i fârikası şapka oldu. 1936 yılında, o sırada Türkiye’nin en önemli konularından biri olan Boğazlar meselesi uluslararası bir antlaşma ile çözümlendi, Boğazlar Türkiye’nin kontrolüne geçti. Türkiye artık İskenderun Sancağı konusuyla ilgilenebilirdi.

Çok geçmeden, 1936 yılının Eylül ayında, Fransız Mandası altında bulunan Suriye’nin bağımsızlığı konusu gündeme geldi. Suriye’nin bu konudaki girişimlerini gerekçe gösteren Türkiye, Milletler Cemiyeti’ne başvurarak İskenderun Sancağı’na da bağımsızlık verilmesini -talep etti.. Bu arada Atatürk, Büyük Millet Meclisi kürsüsünden, Sancak meselesine verdiği önemi bütün dünyaya ilan etti. Ertesi gün de bu bölgeye “Hatay” adını verdi ve “Şahsi meselemdir” dediği Hatay uğrunda - gece gündüz çalıştı. Ocak 1937 başlarında Sancak için güneye doğru bir yolculuğa çıkması bölgede büyük yankı uyandırdı. Milletler Cemiyeti’nde cereyan eden görüşmeler sonucunda 27 Ocak 1937’de Hatay’a bağımsızlık verilmesi kabul edildi. Bu arada Hatay Millet Meclisi için yapılacak seçimler konusunda çıkarılan güçlükler yüzünden, ağır hasta olduğu halde Mayıs 1938’de Mersin’e ve Adana’ya gidip askeri birliklere geçit resmi yaptırdı, Türkiye’nin istekleri kabul edilmeden oradan ayrılmadı. Seçimlerde huzursuzluk ve asayişsizliğin ardı arkası kesilmediğinden, Türkiye ile Fransa’nın anlaşmaları sonucunda 5 Temmuz 1938’de bir Türk Alayı, Fransız askerleri ile birlikte seçim güvenliğini sağlamak üzere Hatay’a girdi. Nihayet Hatay seçimleri yapıldı ve 2 Eylül 1938’de burada Hatay Devleti adıyla bir Türk Devleti kuruldu.13

Hatay Devleti Atatürk’ün son ve eşsiz zaferi, milletine son armağanıydı. Bu devlet 10 ay sürdü. Bu süre içinde Meclis ve hükümet düzenli olarak çalıştı, Ekim ayında gümrükler devralındı, sınırlar Suriye’ye kapatılarak gümrük karakolları kuruldu. Şubat 1939’da Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Kanunları “resepsiyon” yöntemine göre Hatay kanunları olarak kabul edildi.14

Mart ayında Türk parası Hatay’ın da parası olarak kabul edildi. 23 Haziran 1939’da Türkiye ile Fransa arasında, mandaterlikten kaynaklanan bazı hakların tümüyle ve kesin olarak Türkiye’ye devrine ilişkin bir anlaşma imzalandı.15 Bunun ardından Hatay Millet Meclisi 29 Haziran 1939’da oybirliğiyle kendi varlığına son vererek Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’ne katılma kararı aldı.16

23 Temmuz 1939’da, halkın coşkun sevgi gösterileri arasında, Hatay 63. il olarak kayıtsız şartsız anavatana katılarak milletiyle tekrar kucaklaştı.17

Hatay, o günden bu yana farklı dinlere, inançlara mensup, ama aynı kültürü paylaşan, birbirine kopmaz sevgi bağlarıyla bağlanmış bir halkın huzur ve dayanışma içinde yaşadıkları örnek bir yerdir.
