Jenko begins as a popular jock in high school are and seven years later as a 'down on his luck' police officer, whom, along with his partner Schmidt, must work undercover as a high school student to take down a drug ring spreading a brand new drug. Jenko is academically challenged. He failed out of his senior prom and considers a 'C' a grade of success; however, he learns well at hands-on projects. For example while in the car chase, he made a hi deadly bomb from only a bottle of booze, a shotgun bomb shell, and a lithium battery after taking lessons from his chemistry teacher. Jenko and Schmidt, being polar opposites, find that to-get-her they can make up for one another's shortcomings (Jenko's trouble with learning things not of the physical sort and Schmidt's inability to act physically or with confidence). They become fast friends in adulthood, even though they were enemies in their real time spent in high school. While undercover in college with Schmidt, Jenko befriends a football player named Zook, and joins his fraternity where the two become best friends, much to Schmidt's dismay.

21 Jump Street (2012)

It must’ve been one of those “you had to be there” things for people to buy the 21 Jump Street show seriously when it aired. To everyone else, it’s one dumb premise. Or maybe it’s just that writer Michael Bacall and directors Phil Lord & Christopher Miller take it into such a great comically inventive direction you can’t imagine it not being goofy in hindsight.

You wouldn’t expect nerdy Morton Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and jock Greg Jenko (Channing Tatum) to become friends - not after the way they acted in high school - but seven years after graduation, they’re at the Police Academy relying on each other to pass their exams. When their first big bust goes bust, they’re reassigned to revive an undercover program from the 1980s in which officers infiltrate high school. Their mission? Contain the spread of a new drug and find the suppler.

It’s the perfect example of an intelligent movie about dumb people. At nearly every opportunity, our comedic duo royally botch their operation. The trick is, they do it in unexpected ways. You get the full gamut of jokes, from the lowest of low-brow humour to clever stuff that’ll probably fly high over most people’s radar. Slapstick, wordplay, self-deprecating comments about what the series’ future might be like… it’s all here! The variety guarantees you’ll be surprised, meaning pretty much every joke works. If not, there’s another one in the chamber already firing.

The chemistry and interplay between Tatum and Hill are what make the jokes not only funny, but memorable. I’ll also credit Ice Cube as their ever-furious commander as well. Everyone is perfect in their role. They haven’t merely been cast in a funny film, they make the film funny and their presence motivates everyone around them to add a little something extra to the package. A gag about a female teacher who becomes immediately smitten by Tatum might’ve been there from the beginning but it wouldn’t have been the same with anyone else.

Sitting down with 21 Jump Street is kinda like catching up with an old friend who’s perfected his class clowning-isms into full-blown professional standup comedy. It’s a comedy about two idiots who manage to get just enough right for you to (at points) forget about the humor of the situation and get invested in the big mystery. As it goes along, you laugh and learn about the two friends, which makes you invested even more into the story. It’s a deceptively smart and well-written, well-directed film. (February 17, 2019)

I knew about him in 2017 when my friend used to have a crush n I was like he’s not that hot but now that I’ve seen his movies n interviews, his latest post kinda worries me. He’s seems very down to earth and it’s sad he had to take a break, undergo a bad phase. But I hope he bounces back soon. He has one of the most entertaining filmography I’ve seen with any actor, the variety of genres is so fascinating, he deserves his spot back!

The real villain of the 21 Jump Street movies is Schmidt because he’s a terrible fucking friend in the first movie when he gleefully abandons Jenko to hang out with Eric/Molly and doesn’t defend him when his new friends talk shit behind his back and takes it one step further by making ableist remarks against his own “brother” who people even think is autistic coded.

Basically Tom wanted to be a police officer and barely made it out of the police academy. He stated that he did not like high school.

Early Life

His father, Tom Hanson Sr., was a police officer. When he was killed in the line of duty, Hanson Jr. decided to become a police officer to get justice and to help other victims.

Becoming a Police Officer

Tom literally took the job of his father. The partner he was assigned to retired by the end of Season One.

Joining the Jump Street Program

He was a competent police officer. However, he was so reckless that he was going to have to be demoted to Filing Staff or be Transferred. Since everything about Tom is so youthful he was perfect for Jump Street. Tom commented that he loathed High Schools. Even more annoying is that his new Captain and the Station itself were very Slovenly. His Sargent was No Nonsense and did not like him for a while. All the other officers had slightly more experience than Tom. It was necessary for them and Captain Jenko to guide Tom through his many more mistakes, much to Tom's annoyance. During Tom's span at Jump Street he considered quitting since he clearly did not have the temperament needed to be a Police Officer. His time at Jump Street was supposed to last at least 10 years. By Season 4, he appeared in fewer Assignments and by Season 5, zero Assignments. Like many Characters, Tom was not written out of the series.

Tom Hanson and Doug Penhall appointed DEA’s were assigned to a case they worked for five years undercover when the One-Percenters biker gang was involved in a drug sting operation and they pretend to fit in and even forgot they were uncovered but then they meet with new police officers Greg Jenko and Schmidt the newbie’s at the 21 Jump Street police program who also worked uncovered and when Hanson pulled a gun on them he feels guilty that he blows his cover and Penhall they pulled a gun the biker gang and they find out Jenko and Schmidt was part of the same uncovered program they were decades ago and they laugh about it until Hanson and Penhall were shot explaining why they went uncovered to the biker gang and fell to the floor bleeding they bring up their time on Jump Street together but then forgave each other for all the stuff they did and they passed out seemingly like they died on the floor (only to find they were faking their deaths from the biker gang and even the newbies Jenko and Schmidt).

Future

50 years later Hanson is no longer a DEA and he along with Penhall retired from the force and they lived their lives to the fullest and Tom still owned the bowling alley he owns in Pennsylvania and Penhall became a priest and changed his ways and they both still remain close as best friends it unknown if Tom had children or married.

Personality

Tom is always strict and he always clean about his work and he often bother when someone gets in his way.

//Alright. I’m coming a bit clean under the cut here about my future here on tumblr and where I have been.

I know I kept trying to reboot and do what I could with this blog. And then I started my group and thought that I could really make something of it and it was going to be big. It wasn’t and I failed spectacularly on that front (which wounded my self-esteem and confidence even more), but not on the me front.

I’ve been lying to myself for years and struggling with depression and anxiety and a whole shit ton of issues. Last year I found out I have carpal tunnel in both wrists and both of my eyes have vitreal detachment. 

This year I’ve lost two very dear pets in just a matter of months from each other. It seems bad news is just piling up on me and I finally reached rock bottom. I couldn’t take it anymore and I recognized I needed help. So, in short? That’s where I have been. It is a very long process, but I’m on that path to a better and healthier me and getting the help I need along the way. What does that mean for the blog? Honestly? I’m still going to be moving on from here and taking some of my characters to their own blogs. It will be a work in progress for a while, but I will still be here on tumblr writing. I’ve been here since 2012 and no matter how long of a hiatus I might take here or there, I have stuck around through it all. Tumblr is like Ennis Del Mar and I’m like Jack Twist... I wish I knew how to quit it. I just don’t. So, that’s the truth. Even if I wanted to be here, I just couldn’t. I was barely even functioning just day to day in my life. But... Writing is my passion. I adore RPing and I truly do love so many of my muses and my RP partners. I just need a clean slate and doing single muse blogs is what I want to go back to. I will never look down on a fellow multi because you are all so valid and amazing, but the experience here on my multi wasn’t a good one. I need to start over and go from there.

I am sorry to anyone that I let down or disappointed on this blog. I had every and all intentions of doing great and many things, but I fell into a very big hole that I couldn’t bring myself out of. I only hope that you can understand this sentiment and that some of you will follow me going forward and we can continue to write.
