Gory Days es el segundo álbum de estudio del rapero de Brooklyn Necro aka The Sexorcist, lanzado hoy 13 de noviembre de 2001 por Psycho+Logical-Records. En este álbum, Necro enfatiza sus temas liricales en la muerte, en lugar del sexo, como en su álbum de 2005 The Sexorcist. Dos sencillos, "Bury You with Satan" y "Morbid", fueron lanzados en el álbum.

El álbum fue el lanzamiento de ventas más rápido de Necro en ese momento. Los invitados destacados en el álbum incluyen a Mr. Hyde, Goretex, Ill Bill, Captain Carnage y Kid Joe. Everyone of these songs from this era is on matchable energy and I say that due to the fact that as a child, watching these songs come out brand new was something else. From the countdowns to the artist hyping the music video up. Literally is the last time and hip-hop. Not saying there isn’t good rap around anymore, but this era of music was literally the beginning of what we see today. From 106 and park, to the MTV playlist in the morning. This song was definitely one that stayed in your head whether you like it or not.

“Slow Motion” is a song by rapper Juvenile featuring Soulja Slim. It was released as a single on March 1, 2004 and is Juvenile’s only number one hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The song is an original production by Dani Kartel. It held the number-one position on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks from August 7, 2004, and was the first number one for both Juvenile and Soulja Slim. It was the seventh song to reach number 1 posthumously for a credited artist since “Mo Money Mo Problems” by The Notorious B.I.G. in 1997, and was also the first number 1 hit for Cash Money Records.

In the video, everyone wears black T-shirts with R.I.P. Soulja Slim in white text on the front and back. There are also people holding Thou shall not kill paperboard signs. 21 years later…… I remember being here, at this exact location inside this building, now called social club, formerly minder binders, at 21/22 years old. This is a place of legends and lore. The past here was fun, exciting, wild, scary, dangerous, wonderful, horrible and from the looks of it, in the past. We used to come here for bladder buster penny beer nights and grinding to early 2000’s hip hop. The sisquos’ thong song and juveniles’ back that azz up were the number one jams. They had wet t-shirt contests and bands playing. A kid fell from the second story and died and a homeless gentlemen prefers one beer and fell down dead. This place is haunted. We used to play here in the band and lugging the amplifiers up the stairs or out to the sandy back stage was a pain. I don’t think the youth these days do these things and it’s prob for the better. The only place that was maybe more dangerous was Club Rio! Thirsty Thursday and Ladies Weds w/ $5 Long Island iced teas… DOH!!! I don’t know how we survived. We were truly playing, living, loving, hurting, and dying in the last of savage times. She was a nice person.” About three hours after the crew began its work, one of Russell’s taxi drivers, Lowell Edgecombe, waited outside the Treasure Cay Resort to take Aaliyah, her bodyguard, Scott Gallin, and a handful of others to the Fat Cat.
