Magnet Man - Mega Man 3 (Megamix manga canon)

Mags is 1) my favorite Robot Master 2) a major comfort character of mine and 3) the canon character I've written the longest. I've spent a many good years developing him and fighting for him, and I can say with a lot of pride that I'm the longest lasting Magnet Man writer I've seen on Tumblr. Seven years!!! I'm currently taking a break from the fandom but I can feel my MM muses returning, so I'm very excited to pick things back up.

Moon Woman/Cosmic Moonfall - Mega Man/Mega Man X OC

My baby girl. Moon's been with me for 11 years now; I made her when I was 10 and she's lasted throughout my entire RP history, and long before then. I have countless AUs for her and have poured so much blood, sweat and tears into her, some of those being very literal sweat and tears (thankfully no blood yet!). She means the world to me, and nearly every fandom I've touched I've left a piece of her there. She's been through several rewrites and redesigns and I am finally, finally happy to say I've found a story for her main verse that I'm proud of, after 11 years of development and growing up alongside me. I can't wait to share her with you all through Yingyue and Meiyu!

Jing Yuan - Honkai Star Rail

Of course I have to include my current brainrot!! Fuck you for clocking me on the nose like that, firstly. That was so rude. "There's someone in the third world who's going to be your favorite, I'm not telling you who it is. You'll know immediately when you see them" like BRO?? THE AUDACITY and you were so correct, I love you so much. You know my taste so well aslkfjsdalfkhaflkhjafsd

Jing Yuan has so many traits that appeal to me so greatly, if I were to list them all we'd be here ALL day so I won't but just know I love him even more than I love Zhongli and that's saying SOMETHING bc you've BEEN there for my zl brainrot

Quick Man - Mega Man 2 (Megamix manga canon)

So initially I picked Quick Man up out of spite, because someone I had a bad history with used to RP him and I went "I bet I could write him better." So I did. What I didn't expect was to actually end up liking him so much!! Quick's a very quiet character who doesn't talk, like, at all. He was actually very challenging for me to write at first because, as you know, I don't shut up. :D

But I've put a lot of time into his development, and I'm really happy with where he's at! I had no idea I'd have so much fun with him. His character even spawned two OCs, both of which are (sort of) on this blog: Quinn's two alts!

Miles Williams/Veturas - OC

I honest to god do not remember if I've shown you that first FC of his. I was so close to actually rping him on Tumblr on god DLAKGFJHADSLKFJHA. His FC is so funny I can't for the life of me remember his name but he comes from an idol manga/anime and there was a gacha game for it too. Absolutely hilarious

You and Jade are the two who know Miles best here, since it was in our server that he got the most development even if it wasn't where he started. He's my third oldest OC and honestly the one I've struggled the most with in terms of striking a balance I was proud of. It's... hard for me to drum up his muse now, thanks to [she-who-shall-not-be-named], and it's a little painful to try to write him, but thankfully Veturas has remained untouched. He's easier to bring out. Despite that, though, I do love Miles very dearly. I miss him a lot; he was my favorite OC for a very long time. I'd like to go back to that time some day, if I can.

Blues/Proto Man - Mega Man 3 (Megamix manga canon)

Blues was a character I picked up as homage to one of the very first people I met through RP (who I did manage to rekindle contact with!! after 5 years!!!! holy shit!!!!!!!!) because they were the person who'd introduced me to the manga written and drawn by Hitoshi Ariga, as well as the person who introduced me to my most favorite ship in the MM fandom. He's always been a favorite character of mine, but I wasn't expecting his muse to spiral out of control like it did. He's now the origin point for a number of OCs of mine, including one (1) special spooky Elder Dragon hybrid! The theme of people living longer than they should who've peeped the horrors and the evidence lies in their eyes being fucked up looking goes strong here.

Tiny funky elf princess trying her best to rule elf kingdom. HJKA there’s more, I’m lazy but not that lazy. She’s the descendent of essentially a mortal god, more than likely acting as an avatar of sorts to the goddess Hylia, as such she’s gifted with fantastical abilities that’s been passed down her family for generations and she intends to use these powers to protect her kingdom that’s still on the road of recovery, as the sole survivor from Agahnim’s destruction upon Hyrule and thus sole scion she’s left picking up the small fragments from the tragedy that occurred ages ago where the Hero of Time had fallen. But here’s the downside to these powers: she was born with a very weak body and poor health as such she can’t utilize the abilities she has from her bloodline aside from a few powers without affecting her low stamina issues. Namely telepathy, clairvoyance, healing, sealing things away, creating barriers, and connection with the spirit realm. As such, she tends to rely on the wisdom given to her by her naturally bright mind and enhanced by the mythical object known as the Triforce of Wisdom. Surprisingly, she can be cunning despite her soft-hearted nature and is willing to do whatever it takes to protect her kingdom and people she loves, her silent determination more than makes up for the lack of powers she may have. That in mind, she’s often the target of more nefarious plans that means the downfall of her kingdom. She may not have the amazing light magic spells her ancestors did to prevent darkness from taking over but that doesn’t mean her magic isn’t any less potent, she just can’t tap into it. She’s an easy target for enemies that wish to use her sacred powers to revive the dead Ganon or break pass whatever powerful barrier or seal that’s in place.

Her future is pretty grim as well, considering she has a shorter life span. But it’s fine, things are fine she may have a gloomy outlook on certain things but that doesn’t stop her from living life!! Despite how sour this may all seem Zelda is still that encouraging young woman whose kindness defines her, she’s playfully innocent around friends and enjoys exploring old places of decay that’s rich with history! She tends to bottle up her more negative aspects to not worry others since she’s the pillar of an entire ass nation, she needs to maintain her placid demeanor as a means to calm and soothe others around her. Because the truth of the matter is that the events of ALTTP (before the game where harsh plagues among other things happened before Agahnim arrived to fix everything as well as after the events of the game) and OoX, instances where she’s witnessed death of loved ones, the downfall of her kingdom, and coming across death herself has affected her greatly. She suffers from grief and depression that needs to be addressed but... ;v;

NGL I’M ABOUT TO CRY

NOW THE OPPOSITE, LIST EVERYTHING WHY YOUR MUSE COULD NOT BE SO INTERESTING (EVEN IF YOU MAY NOT AGREE, WHAT DOES THE FANDOM PERHAPS THINK?). She’s not at all interesting if you don’t take into account her roles in the mangas which I somewhat base her personality and thoughts on... she’s just.... nice pretty princess that needs to be rescued. A tale as old as time....

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO RP YOUR MUSE? GOOD QUESTION!!! BECAUSE I STARTED OUT WITH HILDA BEFORE DECIDING TO GO WITH SKY ZELDA BECAUSE I WANTED TO DO A MORE OUTGOING MUSE and then I opened up a sideblog for this Zelda out of whim. There’s no reason why I choose the most obscure Zelda, I just did it because I thought it’d be fun. I did not expect this much characterization for someone like her ngl. I guess what keeps me going is the fact that she’s a fun character to write for!

WHAT KEEPS YOUR INSPIRATION GOING? HA!!! NOTHING!!! Mental illness is a bitch, I will have my down... weeks. Not days, literal weeks or months depending on how long my episodes last. It sucks, and I try to work around it but there’s not much I can do. That said, inspiration depends on motivation and want to write. As well as focus because god knows I have so little of that.

IF SOMEONE DISAGREES TO A HEADCANON OF YOURS, DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY? Sí! Again, I want to grow more as a writer and rper! So if someone were to come across a headcanon they don’t like I’d like to know why so that I can think more critically about it and fix it so that it better fits Zelda. If someone were to say “I don’t like this” without saying why it really won’t help much aside from letting me know that you don’t like the thing, which is fine and valid but pls let me know why!

IF SOMEONE DISAGREES WITH YOUR PORTRAYAL, HOW WOULD YOU TAKE IT? Eh, fine with it. I honestly don’t mind if someone doesn’t like my characters, any of my characters I play as! Sometimes, certain portrayals aren’t someone’s cup of tea and that’s perfectly fine. I won’t take offense to it, at the end of the day while I’m still working on Zelda I’m happy with how much she’s grown over the years I’ve played her as... which were just two but it feels longer dude!!!

IF SOMEONE REALLY HATES YOUR CHARACTER, HOW DO YOU TAKE IT? Again, I wouldn’t care that much lol. It’s just rping, it’s really not that deep. It’s no different from someone not liking a book because they just don’t vibe with the writing style among other reasons. I may be sensitive but I don’t really take a lot of things personally.

is your character popular in the fandom? YES / NO. [ Nope. Most people just call ZPiW the game with anime girls wielding guns. Outside of me, not much fanart is produced of the peach boy, as it’s well, mostly the girls. Miiverse revealed that the ratio is a bit more even but still, peeps really like them girl designs (designed by a female artist) ]

is your character considered hot™ in the fandom? YES / NO / IDK. [ i mean ?? i’ve met and seen many people who have/had crushes on geno so ??????? but i don’t think it’s like. that. ghfskjhgsg??? ]

is your character considered strong in the fandom? YES / NO / IDK. [ Personally, I have to say yes. Momotaro is strong as frick because in game, you’re supposed to level towns to “clean them up”. And this is in addition to the traditional Momotaro folktale that, a Momotaro is a strong child who can lift. However, most just look to Snow White as the strongest cuz she dented metal bare handed...and well is the “face” of the game.]

are they underrated? YES / NO / IDK. [ This game is better known for having girls...with guns. But I wouldn’t say he’s really *that* underrated, considering the basic character is just that...basic. ]

were they relevant for the main story? YES / NO. [ Well, my theory is that he just stumbled upon the fight between survivors and zombies so...kind of yes? Momotaro was one to actually gather folks to storm the castle as they say, because it seems before hand the other heroes were just minding their own business. So, being the one who talks the most (ironically) and the one that the game follows...yeah he’s relevant.]

were they relevant for the main character? YES / NO / THEY’RE THE PROTAG. [ Sadly so, in the sense that I wished the devs would’ve allowed for branching plots depending on which character you choose. This is including the fact that the game is purposely trying to emulate how old-school games were bare bones in characterizations and plot.]

are they widely known in their world? YES / NO. [ Just another folklore hero in the world of Wonderland...a place chock FULL of fairy tales and folktales. Though he might’ve garnered a reputation of being destructive after ZPiW... ]

HOW STRICTLY DO YOU FOLLOW CANON? — Ehhhh...I think I make do with what I got from the teeny breadcrumbs of canon I got...however, many folks commented that Momotaro looks WAAAAAAY tougher than what I make him out to be so...I guess that’s a fail for following canon strictly on my part. .w.;; If I truly went 1:1, things may be bland...or not...I mean there’s as many subversions to the traditional heroes as there are well, the typical shounen stuff.

SELL YOUR MUSE! AKA TRY TO LIST EVERYTHING, WHICH MAKES YOUR MUSE INTERESTING IN YOUR OPINION TO MAKE THEM SPICY FOR YOUR MUTUALS. — Is Momotaro an OC at this point? Probably. But hey, if you guys want a lad who’s adorable but tough...you could look elsewhere...or you can find that in Momo! I wanted to try to represent some stuff of special needs, but I’m still working out the kinks...but the kid’s loyal, and a very good cook at that! He definitely needs a confidence booster, but could that be part of his charm? Maybe. But hey, I think y’all might really like the idea I got for him, and mainly Smash! Like, have you ever wondered what goes on in that mansion? ...well yes, but what about those who aren’t fighters? Or even assist trophies! That’s where the smash verse comes in! Take a peek into the (tough) lives of Waddle Dees and the peach boy, along with other creatures not suitable for Smash! They’re just as handy for making sure the place is well run and fed! If someone isn’t cleaning and cooking to maintain 70+ fighters, and 20+ assist trophies...who is?

NOW THE OPPOSITE, LIST EVERYTHING WHY YOUR MUSE COULD NOT BE SO INTERESTING (EVEN IF YOU MAY NOT AGREE, WHAT DOES THE FANDOM PERHAPS THINK?). — This is a character from a game whose designers may appreciate the female figure a bit too much. I always have a tough time recommending this game to others, and hell, I’m terrible at playing it myself. Hell, the fact that most of the characters are minors is just a...”why do you design them like this Bo.mi” thing. Most do seem to think highly of those designs though, as that’s the main aspect of the game I keep hearing in my searches. Now, I’ve received a good amount of concerns over the years that Momotaro not speaking proper English is either racist or babyish...or both. Is my take too depressing? There are often times I think yes, and feel unbelievable shame over it despite others going hard on the angst train.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO RP YOUR MUSE? — Well uh, I believe I was charmed by his rugged but baby appearance in the game..and it just so happen at the time that I was part of a budding rp group. Despite the theme being mostly “OUENDAN”, that was the start of me shoving Momotaro into every fuckin’ thing because he’s cute as shit and obscure muses can be fun too! It was also probably relaxing for me because gosh dang back then I was scared of getting something wrong about someone canon with more lore...and I am still scared about that to this day.

WHAT KEEPS YOUR INSPIRATION GOING? — Studying about Japanese culture, learning the language...the fact that I’ve been rping him for almost 10 years (read like 8-9 at this point)...I do wonder if I should stop rping him...and then I keep hearing that people only want characters only in as fighters, fighters are the only important thing about smash and that grows my weird spite and just continue this “backstage” plot of Smash. Yes, getting a franchise in as a fighter is a VERY high commemoration but, I think it’s just as equally amazing when a franchise gets in as an assist trophy or even a spirit/trophy! So yeah it’s petty and I better find some other motivation soon because it’s exhausting.

do you think you give your character justice? yes / NO / I SINCERELY HOPE I DO? [ Ahaha....I’m starting to give up on that idea at this point, as several noted that Momotaro isn’t as timid in canon as I write him. But I do try to keep those boneheaded traits of the peach boy in my portrayal. ]

do you frequently write headcanons? YES / NO / SORT OF? [ It’s a must for Momotaro, whose game is a tribute to how the old timey arcade games didn’t have much to their plots. Otherwise, I would think that playing him would end up pretty dry..whether I play him closer to canon or not. ]

do you sometimes write drabbles? YES / NO [ ...I should write more. ]

do you think a lot about your muse during the day? YES / NO [ Stupidly yes. Been playing him for 8 years so it’s a hard habit to break. ]

are you confident in your portrayal? YES / NO / SORT OF? [ I mean, if I wasn’t confident enough I would’ve dropped him...though I have thought about that several times. There be times where I run into some sort of writer’s block due to his meek (and traumatized) nature, and because of how he speaks, it’s scary. Am I pushing his issues too much...? Or just HIM in general...? ]

are you confident in your writing? YES / NO. [ Again, writer block happens when some muses don’t click, or personally I don’t want to interact with someone. And then when I do want to write with someone, I fear that my simpler (children’s book) ways of writing would be a turn off. I don’t want to end up babbling too long that there’s too much detail but I shudder at seeing single lines in response to long prose. ]

are you a sensitive person? YES / NO. / sorta. [ Yeaaaah i get stressed and cry at lot at confrontation and just...anxiety in general. Been trying to keep that off the dash though, as I’m sure peeps got their own troubles already. DMs are good to have y’all. ]

DO YOU ACCEPT CRITICISM WELL ABOUT YOUR PORTRAYAL? — I do my best to take crits when I get them but sometimes it just haunts me because I have mixed feelings on being told that the way he speaks is racist or childish. But hey, if you got more advice on how to write trauma and special needs, I’m all ears! Particularly because I’m writing from my own experience in my life and research. ...Dad isn’t that superb at speaking English and that's where I got the Momo speak.

DO YOU LIKE QUESTIONS, WHICH HELP YOU EXPLORE YOUR CHARACTER? — Yes please...but at this point I kinda have sadly accepted that’s just gonna be rare because he’s obscure.

IF SOMEONE DISAGREES TO A HEADCANON OF YOURS, DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY? — as my take on Momotaro is very meek, I’d like to see how one would take on a more confident/more canon true take on him. But that’s a pipe dream. Coruse the only headcanon I will never take (that I fear the fandom will have due to perverted nature) is that he’s just a fuckin harem protag wanting to get into pants. To that I say: NO. In canon he doesn’t give a fuck about the fact his teammates are girls...or even acknowledges that they're girls. It’s the time to survive, not boogie on beds...or at a tree.

IF SOMEONE DISAGREES WITH YOUR PORTRAYAL, HOW WOULD YOU TAKE IT? — I anticipate that wholly because again, I have gotten comments that my take on Momotaro has not properly prepared them to witness the sheer destruction and toughness that is canontaro. Honestly I’d be hyped to see more takes...except for the harem route ones. Am I gonna jinx myself for saying it that much?

IF SOMEONE REALLY HATES YOUR CHARACTER, HOW DO YOU TAKE IT? — I probably would be sad but understanding...I mean it’s not the first time that someone has taken deep offense at Momo and me, mainly in the rp sense. I would hope they would at least go find something that makes them happy.

ARE YOU OKAY WITH PEOPLE POINTING OUT YOUR GRAMMATICAL ERRORS? — Yep yep. Or well stealth editing too, that helps.

DO YOU THINK YOU ARE EASY GOING AS A MUN? — Ehhhh....maybe...? I mean most think I’m chill but, I’m a ball of anxiety at times. But, I am also one who reaches out because, gosh dang...a lot of peeps are nervous beans and that’s okay. So...it’s a sort of, yeah.

IS YOUR CHARACTER POPULAR IN THE FANDOM? YES / NO. Well, he is the main character of the show, but seeing as there’s only me & @legcndreportr that write character from the show, I’d say, the RP fandom for it is tiny, but I think a lot of people that watch dramas like the show & the characters.

IS YOUR CHARACTER CONSIDERED HOT™ IN THE FANDOM? YES / NO / IDK. [ I mean, he’s played by Ji Chang Wook, I mean, obviously yes. Have you seen just how many fan JCW blogs there are on this site? Understandable. Honestly, and truly. ]

IS YOUR CHARACTER CONSIDERED STRONG IN THE FANDOM? YES / NO / IDK. [ I’d say he’s very skilled & flawed. There are many things that he can do, many things that he is good at, but the slew of both traumatic and just plain shitty things that had happened to him over the early years of his childhood, combined with HUGE abandonment issues that he has never really dealt with. All of that can make certain mundane things a lot harder than any 007 stuff that he sometimes does. ]

ARE THEY UNDERRATED? YES / NO / IDK. [ I think, even though I love the character, obv been RPing him for years. I hate that people don’t STAN the other characters as much, especially the other main female characters that are just as interesting, complex and worth loving. But alas that is the world we live in. ]

WERE THEY RELEVANT FOR THE MAIN STORY? YES / NO,he is the main story, if you know what I mean. But no, seriously, he is the main character.

WERE THEY RELEVANT FOR THE MAIN CHARACTER? YES / NO / THEY’RE THE PROTAG. [ Yeah, but tbh, I find it that in the show, the two main characters are equally sorted in the first place, Jung-hoo is nothing without Young-shin. There would be no development, no revelation about his life, childhood and interesting complex storytelling and showing without her. ]

ARE THEY WIDELY KNOWN IN THEIR WORLD? YES / NO. [ One would assume that I should put YES for this, buuuut, while HEALER is known to the criminal underbelly, police and those that would want or need to hire someone like him, the general public has no idea. Which is exactly what he wants, because attention isn’t really a useful thing in his line of work, or just the way he lives his life. ]

HOW’S THEIR REPUTATION? GOOD / BAD / NEUTRAL. [ Good when it comes to how skilful he is, but bad as a person. His character arc really goes a looong way from where he is in episode 1. Like the first thing we see is him playing a tennis VR game, complaining that he can’t pick the character he is playing against to have less clothes (that being a computer-generated character but still), which isn’t really all that interesting and for sure not someone I’d be all into writing. And also his lack of care when it comes to what he does, like the guy he was protecting also in ep 1. Ends up dead, and he’s annoyed bc the police think he killed him, the fact that he’s dead, he couldn’t care less. ]

HOW STRICTLY DO YOU FOLLOW CANON? — I’ve been writing him for over two years, and it’s just no fun to just follow the canon. He has developed overtime on his own, and besides that, I just never really like any CANON fully. When it comes to the show, bc there are only 16 eps, and as with most dramas there is only one season. So I’ve taken the liberty to expand on the canon and to create Jung-hoo as I think he’d be, away from the scenes we can see him in.

SELL YOUR MUSE! Aka try to list everything, which makes your muse interesting in your opinion to make them spicy for your mutuals. — For me personally, I really found it interesting that the mother that abandoned him, married someone else and had a whole new family, after his father died. Jung-hoo cares for her, meets with her, gives her money etc. He doesn’t hate or resent her, I think that shows a lot of compassion but also emotional intelligence. He has this me vs the world outlook, way of life, mentally, however you want to call it, but is in desperate need for someone to SEE him. Like acknowledge his existence, to stay, to love him. He is incredibly skilled & capable, everything you’ve seen 007 do, he does it better. Also I’ve made sure to include diverse verses so there is a way to explore pretty much anything under the sun that you could think of.

Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?). — I think he can’t really move past the whole I hate everyone & I need someone. So he goes back and forth, it is difficult to create a meaningful connection. I’ve been lucky to do that but that’s also bc I’ve written with some people here for years.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO RP YOUR MUSE? — I had taken a few years break from RP, which used to be like one of my main interests, writing in general. And then I was getting into just watching Kdramas, watched HEALER, and I was instantly like I HAVE TO WRITE HIM, and never looked back really.

WHAT KEEPS YOUR INSPIRATION GOING? — Auditory stimuli, be it music or just sounds. For example, when I write I tend to use programs or websites where you can put different sounds in the background like thunder, rain, wind, chatter etc. Watching yt clips, seeing people on my dash tbh, like people that I follow also inspire me bc they make me go I WANNA WRITE WITH ALL OF THEM.

[ I think I tend to have all of these feelings, sometimes I’m like, yeah, this is Jung-hoo, this is exactly what I wanted, sometimes I’m like who am I writing? But I just focus more on me enjoying writing him, than thinking if people think I write him as they think I should.]

DO YOU FREQUENTLY WRITE HEADCANONS? YES / NO / SORT OF? [I have a bunch of headcanons about like the smallest of things, like the fact that I don’t think he likes wearing socks is one of them, but, I don’t write them or post them on here. I’m not sure why, I guess I prefer to sort of just sprinkle them in the threads??? ]

DO YOU SOMETIMES WRITE DRABBLES? YES / NO [ Kinda. I also write fanfiction & I had started this original one with sort of Jung-hoo in mind but not really him. I realized I really like writing starters, I think that’s probably like an unpopular opinion or way of thinking but I really enjoy starting the thread, and I kinda sometimes think starters are like drabbles, I’m not making sense. ]

DO YOU THINK A LOT ABOUT YOUR MUSE DURING THE DAY? YES / NO

ARE YOU CONFIDENT IN YOUR PORTRAYAL? YES / NO / SORT OF? [ Depends on my mental state. Like sometimes 100% and then other times it’s like what am I even doing?? ]

ARE YOU CONFIDENT IN YOUR WRITING? YES / NO / A LITTLE BIT. [ I enjoy how I write, if that makes sense. I’d like to think that I can switch it up now and again, keep it fresh, I def know that I’ve evolved over the course of the years I’ve been RPing ]

DO YOU ACCEPT CRITICISM WELL ABOUT YOUR PORTRAYAL? — Sure. I’m fine with that. I just think that the INTERNET does not know how to compute that, or people on the internet. It’s either, you can do no wrong or you should die a horrible death. It’s like either STAN or HATE. And it’s also somehow part of the rp community here on Tumblr. Where there’s just either fake praise or just unnecessary hate. And then there is a bit in the middle where like you can talk and exchange ideas and thoughts. But it is not the main focus by any means. If anyone wants to tell me to change something, or to do something diff, sure, let me hear you out, you might inspire me to improve. But that rarely happens.

DO YOU LIKE QUESTIONS, WHICH HELP YOU TO EXPLORE YOUR CHARACTER? — Of course, I think a lot of people are like this. Talking about my character gives me muse for the character. Like we could be talking how he’d eat a salad and I’d be like, okay now I have to write a novella about this other thing I’m inspired about.

IF SOMEONE DISAGREES TO A HEADCANON OF YOURS, DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY? — That’s weird to me just bc I feel like when I read someones headcanon, this is how they, and them uniquely see the character, so I can’t really disagree with that, I can have an opinion for sure. But that’s like someone being I like this band, and you say, no you don’t, it just doesn’t make sense to me.

IF SOMEONE DISAGREES WITH YOUR PORTRAYAL, HOW WOULD YOU TAKE IT? — Same with the previous one. Like I often find blogs where they are writing a character that I either love from a show, move, book whatever, or it’s a canon type character that I find really interesting, like the idea behind it, but then I read their writing and then I go, aaaah okay nooo, no NO. And it’s never personal, it’s like, we ain’t gonna mesh, which is fine. And if someone is like that with my writing, fully understandable, just don’t be a dick about it, and we’ll be cool.

IF SOMEONE REALLY HATES YOUR CHARACTER, HOW DO YOU TAKE IT? — Couldn’t really give less of a shit really. RP to me is this little bubble where I am this fictional person that can do and try everything. It is in no way connected to any other aspect of actual reality or my life. The only connection is if I have to take a hiatus or smth, but like even if I write OOC things, it’s about IC stuff. I have other social medial for real life, this is just my RP bubble. So if someone is wasting their time hating a fictional character, they have bigger fish to fry.

ARE YOU OKAY WITH PEOPLE POINTING OUT YOUR GRAMMATICAL ERRORS? — Sure, English isn't my first language so mistakes happen. If I see someone make a mistake and the write with me, I just change it when I reply to them, but I don’t point it out bc you never know, someone people could be okay cool thanks, and someone else could really feel down on themselves, which would be bad, and I wouldn’t want that to happen.

DO YOU THINK YOU ARE EASY GOING AS A MUN? — I’d like to think so, especially that I’m easy to approach and talk to. I don’t take many things seriously, not just on here but like in life. So I’m always open to any idea anyone might have. I’ve been lucky with the people that I’ve been following & those that have followed me, a huge percentage is just really dope people, nice to read their writing, nice to talk to, great to write with. And I hope that it stays that way, so we can also have this as some kind of mental break from life :)

Is your character popular in the fandom? YES / NO.

Is your character considered hot™ in the fandom? YES / NO / IDK. ( I have no clue. I know a lot of people that find her attractive, and a lot of people who don’t. *shrug* )

Is your character considered strong in the fandom? YES? / NO / IDK. ( Maybe not physically, like compared to Garen, but she’s definitely strong emotionally. She’s learned to love herself at least and accept change & what not. )

Are they underrated? YES / NO.

Were they relevant for the main story? YES / NO / MAYBE ? (Main story? I can say that she was a big part of the Demacia changes, considering she’s the only ‘mage’ they’ve chosen to acknowledge and intertwined besides Sylas (give me Sona lore please.) but other than that, if you don’t care about Demacia, it’s not really the main story.)

Were they relevant for the main character? YES / NO / THEY’RE THE PROTAG. (She may be Riot’s poster girl, but she still isn’t the main character. See above.)

Are they widely known in their world? YES / NO / MAYBE ? ( I’m assuming only Demacia (obv) & Noxus really know about the Crownguards or at least have heard of them. Demacia is sort of isolationist & so I don’t see her being known around the world. Maybe in older lore, when she was out and about on missions and actually spying. New lore, probably not. If they had heard of Crownguards, they’d probably think of Garen first. )

How’s their reputation? GOOD / BAD / NEUTRAL. ( Depending on who you ask. )

How strictly do you follow canon? — I really try to stick to canon, but of course there needs to be some leniency in my opinion. If I very strictly followed canon, I think I’d be bored LOL. I like trying to mix a bit of old Lux’s personality with new ( since I was deeply in love with her before the lore changes. ) and try my best to make her unique. New Lux is definitely fake in a different way as it is with hiding a secret, but old Lux being two-faced, resentful and cold resonated with me. That being said, I still respect the canon, because I like the direction they’ve taken with Demacia.

SELL YOUR MUSE! Aka try to list everything, which makes your muse interesting in your opinion to make them spicy for your mutuals. — Lux is already an inquisitive, curious person, so it’d be easy for her to find any way to interact with people / muses she already deems interesting. She wants to see and experience the world for herself, and she’s rather friendly ( unless you somehow show her that you aren’t. ) so it’s easy to make friends with her!! She tends to break traditions and rebel against the standards / life that was set up for her. She loves learning, especially about people, so she’ll have a grand time with your muse -- that is, if you like slow burn / any relationship development. All in all, she is a sweet, adventurous and sassy girl. She wants to meet all kinds of different souls. Need I say more?

Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?). — I don’t know. I’m biased and totally love her. But some people might find her a bit annoying, or look at her on a surface level and assume that’s all there is to her or find she’s airheaded. A peppy, light mage who spews bullshit about positivity and what not. Faking it to make it. Or what have you. I dunno, I think she’s telling herself to stay positive more than anyone else. She also doesn’t have a tragic backstory, she grew up quite nicely and I’m surprised her mother didn’t shove the annuller at her and just let her sass her like that. She was lucky, to say the least, in comparison to Sylas, and she’s quite young, literally doesn’t have any life experience compared to other champions. Maybe some people find her cliche and overrated.

What inspired you to rp your muse? — I wrote her way back when in 2012. Or something like that. Fell in love immediately with her upon reading her judgment in the JoJ and wanted to give RPing a try. Took a break for a while and decided to take a step back from her, to see where I wanted to go with her. She’s absolutely my favorite character, let alone champion. Still love her to this day!

What keeps your inspiration going? — MUSIC. Honestly, music helps my muse so much. Any song that reminds me of her or any ship I have with her, or any song that reminds me of a hardship she’s faced, it helps so much. And obviously, my friends here. They are always so supportive of me. Heck, I might not play her as much anymore in League, but she still has a special place in my heart.

Do you frequently write headcanons? YES / NO. ( Sometimes a random headcanon will spring to my mind and I’ll need to write it down. Most of the time, I don’t bother writing it down since I need to consider it more. Or I think too hard about it and think ‘ nah, that’s not right. ’ )

Do you sometimes write drabbles? YES / NO. ( I used to write them a LOT MORE. Years ago. About Ez/Lux. Now I kinda write them in my Google Drive. )

Do you think a lot about your Muse during the day? YES / NO. ( She’s too cute. )

Are you confident in your portrayal? YES / NO. ( Half & half. I’m always wondering if I’m messing it up or making her too nice or forgiving. If that is even such a thing. )

Are you confident in your writing? YES / NO. ( I think my writing is okay for the most part, I do want to work on descriptions / using more detail and similes/metaphors in my writing. )

Are you a sensitive person? YES / NO. ( Yes. I get emotional for a lot of things. )

Do you accept criticism well about your portrayal? — If it’s constructive and about my WRITING, then yes. Portrayal doesn’t matter to me too much. One person can have an opinion about how Muse A would react to a certain event, and another person could have a different one. It’s all subjective at that point imo, unless it’s obviously something that a majority of people agree on. But I’m not going to bring people down for their portrayal and I expect people not to do that to me either. If you simply don’t like my portrayal, you don’t have to follow/interact. There’s plenty of different potrayals of Lux too, so I’d be confused if someone felt the need to hark on me about it. It’s really that simple.

Do you like questions, which help you explore your character? — Yes!! They let me think about small details or situations that I wouldn’t really think about otherwise. I love them.

If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why? — Sure. I’m open to discussions, in case I missed something that was said by Riot or something along those lines. But if it’s something that wasn’t explicitly stated, like Lux’s favorite dessert or whatever, I doubt we’ll change our minds. We can agree to disagree.

If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it? — Shrug. As I said above, that’s their opinion and how they see Lux. Everyone sees her differently. I’d probably be a little offended, because I put work into her, but that’s about the only thing.

If someone really hates your character, how do you take it? — Shrug. They wouldn’t be the first nor the last person to tell me they hate Lux, whether it’s because she’s too popular and gets all the skins, or that she’s basic, or whatever. I really don’t care?? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of her. Just please don’t shove it in my face if you hate her or bother talking to me about it. If you love her, please DO shove it in my face.

Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors? — Yes, sure. I always welcome feedback. I also know I use too many commas and am trying to work on that, but yes. If you could help me improve my writing in a NICE way, then I welcome it.

Do you think you are easy going as a mun? — I think so. I don’t like rushing people or demanding their time. I’m also open to writing any plots or ideas you have in mind. The only reason I won’t like you is if you obviously disrespect me.

PSA: Don’t call 60 Connor. He is not Connor. He is his own person. This sort of trumps the significance I have built for him as an individual entity in my characterization/ headcanons/ personal iteration in a fandom where he is overlooked. Also if you do refer to him as such verbally to his face you consent to the wrath and animosity he will bestow upon you be it verbal or potentially physical. If you continue to do this and just harvest my blog for memes without even interacting I will unfollow/block. If you reblog send me one then. We never interact, you keep dropping our stuff, show no interest, I don’t see us interacting after all or any number of reasons to make my dash more comfortable. Do not ask me why I did it. hardbocking/blacklisting: Yes I have done it. Am I going to blatantly broadcast it for all to see? Nope. I am not obligated to explain why I blocked you. Most times you have broken my rules despite me reminding to read them. Other times there are people I just do not want to see and that is my right not to see them. Same goes for you. Block me if you do not like what you see. I will not censor myself, my writing or who I interact with.

ostracizing people in the rpc: If you don’t like who I am interacting with use your blacklist function. NEVER tell me not to interact with them. If I find out you practice this exclusion tactic on others in the rpc I will purge you off my blog no questions or explanation needed. I totally get it. There are people I don’t like. No one is going to like everyone but do you see me telling others NOT to write with them? Hell no because I know for a fact they have done it to me and others love to listen without all sides to a story.

I also drop people who vague in public servers because it’s straight up childish behavior. I also will not follow or interact with anyone who guilt trips, suicide baits or lies with a pity party song and dance. When you’re found out to be lying or telling other people not to interact with somebody in this RPC I want nothing to do with you. Move on. That’s it.

VILLAIN AU.

PART 3. 20+ years old. HEDONISM AND MAKING EVERYONE PAY. UNDERESTIMATE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

( I’m gonna finally be posting the main overview of what happens in Rai’s villain verse! It’ll be split into three parts (1, 2, 3) and there WILL be triggers in here. His life involves a lot of death and violence. All the posts will be tagged but if you need more stuff tagged please just send me a dm! c: )

NOTE: If you’re rping with villain rai, this is the main one to keep in mind. when i write villain rai, nine times out of ten this is the part of the timeline i’m writing in.

first of all and most importantly, he’s out for HIMSELF, whatever that entails. He wants to have fun. He’s a hedonist – he wants pleasure, he wants to enjoy life, he wants alcohol and drugs and fun and sex and thrills and everything, basically. He’ll try anything once. smokes and drinks and does various drugs, but isn’t addicted. he’s never had an addictive personality, he just likes the rush and sometimes he gets bored. not to mention he’s seen and done and been through too much. he’s LOST too much - not just his family, but too much of himself, too. instead of lamenting, he either represses it or else embraces the change in him, leaning into it as much as he can.

Doesn’t want to rule the world. That’s for uncreative power-hungry losers. Nah, too much responsibility. Too much effort. What’s the point? He just wants to have fun and be accountable for nothing/very little. He wants people to stop getting away with things they shouldn’t get away with. He wants to EAT CORRUPT RICH WHITE MEN. He wants to never ever be subordinate to anyone. He’s his own dude and wants to live on his own terms, even if that means breaking pretty much every rule in the world at one point or another.

he’s still FUN. this is so important. he’s always down for fun and games, silliness, general Dumbassery… that’s his whole thing. he doesn’t want to be destructive for the sake of it - he just wants to have fun. he revels in his life being chaotic and unpredictable. he needs to be kept on his toes and kept alert and thinking and doing all the time. if he stops, he gets too into his thoughts and that’s Not Good. nope, gotta keep going! gotta keep those shenanigans happening!!

disloyal as shit. do not trust this mf. he’s out for what suits him and his own morals the best and he doesn’t give two shits who he has to screw over. it barely even registers as ‘screwing people over’ in his head. he lives in a dog eat dog mindset and betraying people left and right is just something that comes with that. the world’s gonna fuck everyone over anyway - why shouldn’t he? HOWEVER he... lowkey wants friends. trusts no one. secretly very lonely but hEY NEVERMIND, covers it up with jokes and pranks and a super chill attitude. he doesn’t NEED ANYONE. ha. hahha…. he misses his family. he can’t trust anyone, he has issues with emotional intimacy, he hates the commitment of real friendship and all that… but he might hang out with other villains/morally grey folks and play video games n stuff

likes to mess with heroes and other villains just to annoy them. Usually knows how far he can push his luck but he’s definitely had a few close shaves with other powerful villains all because he was being a fuckin pranky idiot for no real reason other than he thought it was funny. sometimes does one off ‘favours’ for other villains if they’re willing to pay enough and treat him decently. he has standards and if you treat him like a subordinate rather than someone you hired, someone you’re working with, an equal, he’s OUTTA THERE. Oh, and he’s swiped your wallet too

Basically he steals constantly. One of his main things is just… taking from rich people. Whatever way he can. whether it’s scamming, conning, outright theft, he doesn’t care. They don’t deserve that much wealth - no one does. He’s particularly prone to stealing from politicians (and tends to leave people like doctors alone, in contrast). Mostly he steals from the corrupt/rich white men (same thing) buuuut he doesn’t really steal for himself. not 100% anyway. Yes, he’s materialistic to an extent and at first he buys himself what he believes he’s due - a killer apartment in Rio (likely a penthouse), probably a strip of private beach somewhere in the world, a cool car or motorbike etc etc. But mostly he steals just so that whoever he stole it from can’t have it. They don’t deserve it. He tends to distribute whatever he’s stolen to whoever he thinks DOES deserve it - what’s left of his family, poorer communities in Rio like the one he grew up in, small charities doing good work etc etc. so while he has many luxuries, he’s not consistently rich, because just kinda filters whatever he steals into other places rather than keeping it. he keeps just enough to keep himself somewhat comfortable

He also trades in wu sometimes and has been known to keep one or two that he particularly likes (the Tiger Claws, for example, and maybe the Sword of the Storm). he lives by whatever whim he has. if he kinda feels like murdering part of a police militia? he’s gonna do it. if he kinda feels like eating 50 waffles? he’s gonna do it. he’s not inherently EVIL at all times - he’s capable of atrocities but mostly he just... wants to do what he wants. that’s really the best way to describe rai in this part of the verse.

i hope this doesn't come off as anything negative tbh, but i wanted to say that i adore the relationship btw nnoi and grim, more so during your latest threads, and i can't help but feel jealous of the enthusiasm put from both parties to make your muses' interactions so vivid, and the time you and lexie have invested on the ship .. 1/2

[ Oh thank you very much, anon! This definitely doesn’t come off as negative at all! It makes me very happy to know someone enjoys our ship, because yeah - we DO put a lot of effort into it and both Lexie and I also adore our ship. And thank you for checking out our threads! I always feel so flattered when someone reads/follows our interactions! Makes writing even more enjoyable!

As for your question - I think I have gotten incredibly lucky with my ship partner. Lexie is absolutely amazing. Their Grimmjow is so complex, their writing always inspires me, and the chemistry between Grimmjow and Nnoitra is so strong that they ALWAYS find their way back to each other. Even though I hit the jack-pot with my ship partner, I DO have some advice ( i think? ).

SINGLE-SHIP. If you state that your blog is single-ship, you’ll automatically get more ‘ strict ‘ about who you consider to be a potential ship for your muse. Now, I’m a big fan of letting things happen ‘ naturally ‘ ( I’d write down the story about how Lexie and I started shipping but it’s LONG ), but if you’re LOOKING for a ‘ good ‘ ship partner, I’d definitely think it to be a good idea to go single-ship. Also, look for other single-ship blogs, or blogs that are willing to go-single ship. There are many pros about being single-ship and having a single-ship partner. Surprisingly, at least for me, being single ship also makes interacting with other blogs easier. Because there are no expectations that you’re ‘ supposed ‘ to ship with them. So you can focus on building other type of relationships. Having a single-ship partner also obviously means that they only focus on your ship ( when it comes to writing ships ). If you ship with a multi-ship blog, they might feel like they have to divide their attention equally between their ship partners, and of course, if they have a lot of ships, this can mean each partner get only a bit of attention. Not to mention that it takes a lot of time and energy.

PATIENCE. Finding something special takes time. And, don’t be afraid to end ships if you’re single ship! If your muse starts dating someone, and it doesn’t work out, let them break up! There is nothing wrong with letting your muse go through several relationships before finding the ‘ right ‘ one. This gives great amounts of character development. I know people are afraid that ending a ship will hurt their ship partner, but I think with good communication, this can be avoided. The mod who plays Nnoitra’s ex ( Kyota played by Nicola ) is the person in the world who is closes to me, even though our ship didn’t work out. It took me about 1 ½ years of writing Nnoitra before the ship with Lexie’s Grimmjow happened. Maybe not a very long time to some, but a lot of people get a ship within the first few months of writing their character, so I’d say it was a decent wait.

A DEDICATED MOD. If you want to ship with someone who will be dedicated to your ship, you’ll definitely need a mod who is already dedicated to their muse. Shipping with someone who loses muse for their character ( without ever getting it back ) is difficult. Lexie has been writing Grimmjow for MANY years ( 9 or 10?? ). I’ve only been writing Nnoitra for 4 ( this is my 5th year ), but in addition, I write a LOT for him, and my muse for him is so strong that it’ll never falter. If you ship with someone who often makes new muses, abandons blogs, goes on 6+months hiatus - that’s not going to be easy. If you want the sort of ship where you write it for years and you’re both dedicated, the foundation needs to be strong. Meaning you’ll have to be prepared to put in the effort for your own muse, and your ship partner needs to have the same sort of security.

CREATE TOGETHER. A ship can quickly get ‘ boring ‘. They’ve fallen in love, gone through some drama, but now they’re together and happy. The only thing left to write are a million fluff scenes. This gets old. So, what do you do? You PLOT. You add things to their lives. Chaos. Accidents. Write something you can both be excited about. After Lexie and I hit a sort of ‘ happy ending ‘ in our main verse, we added the AU.09 - NO MORE SUMMER DAYS ( this is what it’s called on my blog, on Lexie’s blog it’s called ‘ forget me not ‘ ). A verse where Grimmjow has cancer and Nnoitra tries to get enough money to help him. We had a blast writing this! And it gave us a small ‘ break ‘ from main verse, where everything was going well. Until we came up with more plots for that verse as well! Our boys have been through a lot, and we still have more ideas for things that’ll happen in their lives. So our ship doesn’t get ‘ repetitive ‘ to write. I think this is very important when writing a ship. If you don’t want to ‘ ruin ‘ your ‘ happy ending ‘ in your main verse, you can just add AUs. Lexie and I have a bunch, and I’ve got several more plots in store should we ever need something new.

BUILDING. In addition to creating together, it’s important to build it up. It takes time to create a relationship between two people. Creating a timeline really helps drive the story forward. Personally, I like to keep things chronological with Lexie in our main verse. Meaning, that if our boys are going through some bad times ( like now ), it won’t be natural for me to send a ‘ happy ‘ ask to Lexie with Nnoitra cuddling Grimmjow or something like that. I’d love to write some fluff, but I can’t. I have to WAIT. I think that because we ‘ continue ‘ the story onwards, every scene gets both more natural and more intense with how our muses feel. It also makes it a lot more enjoyable to write. I don’t think it would’ve been equally entertaining to just write lots of random scenes that didn’t fit together in the bigger picture.

WRITING STYLES. This is important. I think it would be almost impossible to ship with someone whose writing style doesn’t fit yours ( at least for me ). Your partners replies have to inspire you. It needs to make you feel something - like you do when you’re reading a really good book. It’s not all about the character and their personality, but also about HOW it’s showed. If you’re trying to write an angst scene, and your partners reply doesn’t give you that angsty feeling, then it’s not easy to get a proper tragic scene going.

SHOW APPRECIATION FOR EACH OTHER. From your ask I can tell that you give a lot to your ships, and that’s great! I absolutely adore the way Lexie and I communicate with each other. They’re always so appreciative when I write something for our ship, or draw something. Even after all these years, we still thank each other for asks. I think getting appreciation and showing it helps the ship, because it gives a good vibe to the whole experience. Knowing someone is equally excited about something.

Semi-Selective: Everyone is welcome to follow, however I might be a bit choosy about follows back (it's not you, I promise, just me being careful). I'd rather RP with mutuals (easier for me to keep track of replies, nothing more), though IM and Inbox are open for anyone, so feel free to drop by.

Multiship: I’m shipping trash and open to any sort of relationship, from platonic to romantic. I'm biased towards Touya x Hawks and Touya x Tomura, but I'm up to give any ship a try as long as there isn't a too big age gap (no more than 5-6 years) and the younger half of the ship is at least 18-20 (16 and no older than 17 in the Hero Student Verse) , so ask away (no, seriously, I work better knowing if you want to ship in advance, shipping with chemistry is all good but don't be afraid to ask me to ship straight away, I love planning a ship). Respect Touya's sexuality (homosexual) and in the off-chance I say no to a ship, DO NOT try and force it; I can guarantee I won't do the same. Pre-established (platonic) relationships are okay too (meaning Touya met them as a student or sidekick and is already familiar with them as a pro hero), if there's a good base to it, though it'll depend on the muse (Touya isn't exactly the social/trustful type). Absoutely no shipping Touya with any of the UA students and people who are minors in canon.

Multiverse: Interactions with different muses are to be considered to take place in a different verse unless discussed between muns. Same goes for shipping, so there will be no cheating involved (it’s a big no-no for me and makes me really uncomfortable, so don’t even ask).

Multimuse-Friendly: If you have a multimuse blog, feel free to interact with me, just make sure to specify which one of your muses you want to use, especially if we've just started interacting.

Sideblog-Friendly: I'm perfectly alright RPing with sideblogs; you can reblog my promo (tag This Is Our Call [Self Promo]) so I know where to find you, just please send me a message / IM from your main blog if I follow you so I know it's you.

OC-Friendly: Pretty self-explanatory, if your muse is an OC and you want to interact, you’ll be more than welcome. No Mary Sues or Gary Stus though, please (I had a bad experience in this regard). Also, I'd rather if you had a decent bio page so I know as much as I can about your OC, and I'm perfectly fine if your OC is related to a canon character.

AU-Friendly: Your muse is an AU/Canon Divergent version of a canon muse? Fine by me, as long as you have a bio page where you explain said AU/canon divergence so I have an idea about what's different from canon.

Crossover-Friendly: Your muse belongs to a different fandom? That’s perfectly fine! Though be forewarned that I might not follow back quickly (or at all) if it's a fandom I'm not familiar with unless we've been friends for a while (like, from before I joined the BNHA fandom), you have a BNHA AU or I see potential for interactions. NSFW-Friendly: Both mun and muse are 21+ and open to roleply smut, though it’ll only happen with muses that are at least in their twenties (Touya is 25 in the main verse and I won't RP smut in verses where he's 17 or younger), in which case it’ll be tagged accordingly as Too Hot To Handle [NSFW] and put under ‘read more’ if necessary. I will only RP smut if the other mun is 18+ and comfortable with it as well.

2. I accept interactions with underage muns, but the relationship between our muses will remain strictly platonic. I don't feel confortable writing romantic ships with underage muns due to past experience. Platonic ships are more than welcome though. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

3. No godmodding (controlling my muse yourself) and no metagaming (using knowledge of someone’s muse that a character has no way of knowing).

1. This blog is:

Semi-Selective: Everyone is welcome to follow, however I might be a bit choosy about follows back (it’s not you, I promise, just me being careful). I’d rather RP with mutuals (easier for me to keep track of replies, nothing more), though IM and Inbox are open for anyone, so feel free to drop by.

Multiship: I’m shipping trash and open to any sort of relationship, from platonic to romantic. Muse is bisexual and of age, therefore romantic shipping will only happen with other 20+ muses (so no shipping with any of the high schoolers in canon) and in the off-chance I say no to a ship, DO NOT try and force it; I can guarantee I won’t do the same. Pre-established relationships are okay too, we can talk about it.

Multimuse-Friendly: If you have a multimuse blog, feel free to interact, just make sure to specify which one of your muses you want to use, especially if we’ve just started interacting.

Sideblog-Friendly: I’m perfectly alright RPing with sideblogs; you can reblog my promo (tag At Your Service! [Self Promo]) so I know where to find you, just please send me a message / IM from your main blog if I follow you so I know it’s you.

OC-Friendly: Pretty self-explanatory, if your muse is an OC and you want to interact, you’ll be more than welcome. No Mary Sues or Gary Stus though, please (I had a bad experience in this regard). Also, I’d rather if you had a decent bio page so I know as much as I can about your OC, and I’m perfectly fine if your OC is related to a canon character.

Crossover-Friendly: Your muse belongs to a different fandom? That’s perfectly fine! Though be forewarned that I might not follow back quickly (or at all) if it’s a fandom I’m not familiar with, unless we’ve been friends for a while (like, from before I joined the BNHA fandom), you have a BNHA AU or I see potential for interactions. It’s mostly to keep my dash clean and for my own comfort, nothing against you, so please don’t feel bad. For fandoms I’m familiar with, see rule #20.

NSFW-Friendly: Given the nature of the series, NSFW elements like gore, violence, body horror, etc. might be present but will be tagged accordingly. Both mun and muse are 20+ so smut might be present as well, although it’ll always be under ‘read more’ and tagged accordingly as Not For The Weak Of Heart [NSFW]. I’ll only RP smut with 20+ muses and 18+ muns, and only if the mun in question is comfortable with it.

PSA

I did one of these on my old blog and I’m bringing it back but revamping it a bit. This is to all my mutuals! Mainly this is what is in my rules but I thought I’d post it as well as a reminder and to clarify certain things. This did get pretty long so I placed it under the cut. Any questions, feel free to send me an ask.

First of all, if I follow you I want to RP with you.

If you want to drop something, whether it be a thread, a ship, an interaction, anything all, that’s perfectly fine no matter the reasoning. You’re not feeling that thread anymore? Alright, let’s do something else. You’re not feeling this ship anymore? Sure, I’m alright with that! These two muses just aren’t working out in their interaction? Got it! Let’s try something else! I’m perfectly fine with all of it!

My inbox is always open. Send that meme. Say hello. Ask any question that you have! Seriously, I won’t mind!

If I post a starter call, inbox call, or plotting call, do not be afraid to like it if that is what you want to do. Same thing for if I post an open RP’s for my muses, just jump right in if you want.

I love AU’s, I truly do. And they can vary from small little changes to the normal verse to my characters becoming something completely different. Either way, I’m up for it so come at me if you have an idea.

I’m a little shit when it comes to replies, seriously I am. Sometimes I can spew out reply after reply within minutes of each other, and sometimes I will go days without a single one. It’s called life. Sometimes I’m not feeling good, or my mood is too sour. Maybe I’m struggling to come up with a reply I find suitable and really want to take my time and make sure it’s right. Maybe my muse isn’t cooperating with me. There are so many reasons, it’s ridiculous and if you’re worried that I no longer want to reply, just ask. I won’t bite, I promise.

I do not mind having multiple threads with the same mun. Whether that be your muses RP’s with several of mine, several of mine RP with multiple of yours or even if you have more than one blog but want to RP with me on each one. I’m down for that.

I’m a huge lover of shipping. Seriously I am. Ship with me you cowards! But, there does have to be some chemistry between the muses, I have to be able to see that they can go down that path together. If I ship something, that doesn’t mean you have to and if you ship something doesn’t mean I will either. Don’t force anything on me but do tell me if you ship our muses. I probably do too. Plus, there isn’t just romantic ships! Platonic, familial, frienemies, all that good stuff. I love all of that and so much more!

I can do pre-established relationships (not romantically at all though (usually)) but we as muns have to discuss it first to see if the muses can even be on such terms with one another.

I am open to pretty much every kind of plot you can think of. Seriously, I am! So don’t be afraid to approach me on that either if you want a specific genre.

You are allowed to use memes as icebreakers.

You are allowed to turn asks into threads, just please repost it and if you can’t, tell me and I can do it for you.

Let your muse, be your muse. Don’t change them simply to suit the RP. If your muse is a jerk but you feel sorry for mine because they are sweet, don’t make them nicer so that you don’t feel guilty. If your muse is flirty, but mine isn’t having it, oh well. That’s how they are and my muse is more than capable of handling themselves.

I do not care if you take forever on your reply, I really don’t. As I already said, I’m bad with that myself. So don’t stress it, take your time!

You are NOT just a number in my follower count, I promise you that. So, if we’re mutuals, even if it takes me forever, eventually I will reach out to you. Most likely with a meme. However, I will say this much, I generally give a limit of three asks to start an interaction. This means I the first two icebreaker memes I send in that aren’t answered will be given the benefit of the doubt by thinking maybe you didn’t get them or the ask didn’t work or maybe the muse wasn’t good. Each one I send will likely contain a different muse and scenario to give you options. But after three asks are sent to try and break the ice between us and none are answered, I will assume you don’t have an interest in rping with me and will soft block because I don’t see a point in us being mutuals if you’re not interested in rping.

There will be times when I drop threads, there will be times that I don’t answer an ask you sent in, and times that I’m really not good at talking to others ooc. This is nothing against you. Generally, I really only don’t answer asks that just won’t work with anyone (rarely, is what I am saying). If I do these, we can always start a new thread, you can always send another ask which I will be more than likely to answer and if I don’t respond via chat or discord, just give me some time. I’m probably simply not up to it yet but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to talk with you.

Feel free to specify a muse if there really is one you’re interested in, I swear you won’t upset me because you like this particular muse. If anything, that makes it much easier for me. But, if you’re not sure who to use, let me know and I’ll try to help you.

My activity is sporadic like crazy, I ask that you have patience with me on this.

My page is hella disorganized but I’m chipping away at that bit by bit (ignore the fact that I’ve had this particular blog for eight months now and I’m still trying to get it together)

I do not care about that whole thing that’s going around about reblogging from the source, I truly don’t and it’s even in my rules that the likelihood of me actually doing that isn’t high.

I am private. I am selective. And I most certainly am mutuals only. If I haven’t followed you back yet, please do not jump into my IM’s asking about doing things. That will make me either want to block you or not even give your page a chance. If I don’t follow you back for whatever reason, it’s nothing against you, really. Could be a great deal many reasons as to why.

I am multiship (for the most part because some muses are selective few ship, it says it in their information if they are) but certain muses have their main verse and then they also have their canon verse which is not the same. If for any reason, you wish to be involved in their canon verse, it would have to be thoroughly discussed between us and then I’d have to discuss it with another mun who is involved with the canon verse muses.

I have a very broad range of muses from the most innocent and sweets ones to the worst of the worst. They also range from completely normal humans to vampires, lycanthropes and much much more. But having muses like this means there will likely be a lot of triggering content. I will try to tag it but if I’m being honest, I suck at it.

Will contain NSFW content as well (though certain parts of that NSFW I’m very picky about). Smut is something that will likely take place on here eventually, though not very often. I just generally prefer to do morning afters and all that good stuff.

I do crack/shit post, I do a have quite a bit of ooc posts, I do dash commentary at times too.

If you send your male muse at me, it will likely be responded with by a female muse. This is NOT for shipping purposes. This is because I’ve had a bad experience before where even though my muse was a heterosexual male and the one he was threading with was considered bisexual, they began to try and force a ship between them. Not only was the muse itself being extremely pushy but the mun was as well ooc. This also doesn’t mean that I won’t do it at all, if I know the mun isn’t like that or something along those lines then I will be okay with actually doing it.

You can bet your ass I play favorites. This means that there are certain threads I’m likely to respond to first, there are certain asks I will do quicker than others. Usually, this is because me and the other mun have that solid connection ooc and that the muses just really go well together. But don’t let that discourage you, please. That doesn’t mean I won’t rp with you, that doesn’t mean I’ll ignore you and that certainly doesn’t mean that with time you can’t become one as well.

I use icons, but that doesn’t mean that you have to. Yes, I also edit my text but that doesn’t mean you have to either in order to rp with me.

My biggest peeve is not cutting your posts. I really hate having to scroll so much just to get past one post. If you don’t cut your posts, I won’t follow or if I already do then I will unfollow once it becomes an issue.

When I unfollow, I do it through soft block because, as I’ve said, you are not just a number in my follower count and I think it’s only fair. So, if I unfollow you and didn’t use this method, that means I personally didn’t unfollow you. It must have been a glitch on tumblr or something and you’re welcome to say something to me.

I generally rp at any length but the longer the reply is the longer it takes for me to do it so I usually try to keep it at 2-3 paragraphs.

I do currently have 39 muses and more are going to come. That’s just how I am. The world in which my muses are in has a lot of possibilities and connections that I like to explore and develop more and as I do, muses come out and sometimes it will be just one and others it can be multiple. Really depends but if you don’t like blogs with too many muses that I wouldn’t follow me.

Below are my rules as found on my page, in case my pop-up pages do not function:

General:

Please read Markus' about page and all of the following rules.

I understand that this and the other sections can be long, but I appreciate it so very much. I will always to return the favor.

Do not god-mod. Do not take control of my Markus.

Do not meta-game. Information about Markus is not to be common knowledge. Do not mention any event in my Markus' life or detail about my Markus that your character did not personally witness or was not told by my character/could not look up/see on the news.

Do not break the fourth wall. All the events in my Markud' life actually happened to him, so your character cannot have seen him in a video game nor is there any actor that looks like him.

You can phyiscally and mentally touch my Markus (with process sync, memory probe etc.) without notifying me first, but I'd prefer a quick heads up

I would like to know its coming and be able to discuss it with you before hand.

Shipping & NSFW:

I would love to ship depending on the chemistry. Bear in mind though, I like to ship only after plotting or character chemistry, and that is not my end goal with rping Markus. I see Markus as focused more on relationships by far, and less on romance. I'm not comfortable with same-sex ships, though platonic stuff and bro-ships are amazing.

I will not rp smut or any other sexual behaviours; however, darker themes, violence, torture, drunkness, and other such topics might be mentioned and found here. Any potentially triggering material will be tagged with tw: trigger here. If you have a particular trigger, or there is a chance a trigger might come up in a thread, message me and I will either tag the trigger or refrain from mentioning it in our rp.

Interactions & Threads:

Ask memes and starter calls are a great way to begin interaction with my Markus and are open to everyone!

IM me to plot or shoot me an ask. You can also @ me. I'm pretty flexible! I do have a skype and a discord, and if we've talked a bit we can definitely rp on either of those as well.

If you approach me for a thread/roleplay, I ask that you have, at least, a semblance of an idea or plot that might plausibly occur between your character and my character. I do have the right to refuse an idea or roleplay request, but it is not likely I will, or if I do, I will be polite, as I do always appreciate it when people want to rp with Nate. I just want it to be clear that I am not an idea vendor.

I enjoy plot and story driven threads and conversations. I have a preference toward paras and conversational threads. To give an idea of what I mean by those terms, paras would be about three-five paragraphs, while conversation threads would average about one. I use icons and gif icons in nearly all non-para interactions, and it doesn't matter to me if you use icons/gifs/gif icons. I'm always open to plotting. Conversations without a plot are perfectly acceptable though!

I would prefer partners to have mostly proper grammar, but I do not mind, in any way, rping with not native English speakers.

Due to busyness and real life, I may lose inspiration for, forget about, or drop threads. If you have been waiting 3-5 days, please drop me a message or gently poke me.

I do want to rp with you all, and I never mean to forget this. Though please do not pester me repeatedly. I have a thread tracker that I try to keep up to date with threads, but sometimes things slip through.

Selectivity:

I am not mutually exclusive. I will rp with you, even if we do not follow each other. Starter calls, open starters, and askbox memes are open to mutuals and non-mutuals.

I will only roleplay with those who have a rules and an about page. Whether it is canon or OC, I'd like to know at least a little bit about your version of your character and what your guidelines are. If you do not have these, I will politely decline to rp.

I will rp with OCs, but please see the following rules about prestablished relationships.

I will not recognize pre-established relationships that are not canonical. For example, if your character is a child of mine's that is not in canon, my characters will not recognize that prestablished relationship, unless you dicuss it with me OOC first. I am more than willing to roleplay with you, and if things go well, have my character become a father/mother-figure, but they are not my characters' children, unless heavily discussed OOC first. And in Markus' case, having children is kind of... impossible anyway, so.

Verses & AUs:

This is a multi-verse blog. Events, encounters, and relationships exist by default in main-verse on Markus' verses page, but can occur in verses I have specified for him (and any we plot!). Therefore, assume any starter call or open starter is going to happen in the mainverses, unless I tag it otherwise.

In-Character Notes:

OOC =/= IC. My ideals and morals are not reflected in all of the expressions/actions/and thoughts of my Markus.

Though this does not mean my morals will not govern how I roleplay them. They will and do.

If my character hates you character, that does not mean I hate you or your character.

Markus is pretty tough. He is shown to take multiple bullets and stab wounds throughout the game in non-vital parts and still survive, but he CAN be killed, so plotting is essential.
