Idk who needs to hear this but i know i do so i'm putting this out into the world: You don't need to earn rest. Is there such a thing as too much rest? Sure, I'm sure someone somewhere has encountered that, but that's likely not what's happening to you. Personally, i'm sick rn, and i got sick literally the day before my spring break ended. I'm currently home from school bc I'm sick, and i'm trying my best not to feel guilty about "resting too much" and not doing any of the school work ik will be waiting for me when i get back. Also, you can do work while resting, but you can also not do any, both of those are valid options. ik i'm probably gonna do my music theory hw bc my teacher isn't very forgiving, but if I could get an extension on it I would. Anyways, no clue if any of this makes sense, i'm hopped up on mucinex, thank goodness for american cold medicine.
