“Only for a little bit, then you have to eat and lay back down.” Morgan caves easily, as he does anytime you’re sick, he quickly pulls out a coloring book then some colored pencils for you to scribble with.

“Thank you Der.” You give the biggest smile you can muster before descending into coloring each shape in perfectly.

Though you only get a few minutes of coloring before Spencer’s coming over, food in hand, a huff at you hunched over a coloring book and not laying down like he instructed. He sets the soup down to the coffee table before turning towards Derek with a raised brow.

“What! Look at them, they deserve to color a bit.” He defends no matter how little it’ll do to stop Spencer from going full on caregiver mode.

“Little one, you’re supposed to be resting.” Reid sighs.

“But bubba, look!” You hold out the halfway colored in page to Spencer, shaking the item a bit just to make sure he sees it enough.

“It’s very pretty honey but you’re sick and should be saving your energy.” His voice is sweet and caring, moving to rub his thumb against your cheek with a small smile.
