found family lol. what can i say. something about it does in fact hit different for me. i always want more and the brainrot is never ending and it's arguably not the most popular fic genre, so when i run out of content in the fandom of choice atm, i start making my own lol

🍛: have any comments, tags or reactions to one of your fics every made you laugh or cry or both?

well, yes, for starters, several of yours!! 💗 like when someone leaves a nice/heartfelt and/or detailed comment on my silly little fics i am quite LITERALLY screaming crying (and only metaphorically throwing up) about it. that shit does in fact mean the most to me and i wouldn't push myself to actually try and do things i don't feel very good at if people did not seem to want me to do it, so when people feel Some Type of Way after reading something i wrote that is the ultimate goal. i wouldn't write stuff if i didn't want whoever's reading it to connect with and remember it, so i connect just as much back when they do!

thankfully i actually haven't yet!

oof tbh i think me being ~in the mood to write~ is controlled by the whims of deities interested only in toying with me 😭😭 ive learned that even if i am not exactly in the mood i have to just Do it. and eventually i will either stop bc im like wow everything i am writing right now absolutely sucks! or i will get into it and figure out a whole bunch of shit and write 5k words. there is basically no in between lmao

🍥 : what’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

this is also gonna have to be time takes no prisoners. it is kind of a big first fic for me- longest, first top gun fic, first fic to rly get comments or kudos, most chapters, fic i am the most proud of, first series based work, etc etc- and the story (though obviously not my own, as it IS just a retelling of largely canonical events i can't take any credit for) means the absolute world to me. it's probably going to wind up being my fanfic magnum opus lol. it is always gonna hold a special place in my heart. i just adore this fandom and these characters and i just akdhdjhfjfhf love everything about the whole mav-is-bradleys-dad shit and the by extension found-family-w-people-mav-knows shit. it is just major *chefs kiss* for me <3

if i needed to give a more creative answer in the pre ttnp timeline (bc that is how it feels sometimes lol. there is pre and post ttnp/top gun brainrot and nothing in between), i'd have probably said all this effort to make it look effortless, which was the first writing of any kind i had done since like 2018 or something idk. i wrote and posted it last year, not too long before i began to write ttnp (it was actually right before i saw tgm at all), and it's for the world's most obscure fandom and it's very very self indulgent and i rly did just write it for myself, there's like under 50 fics in that fandom and mine has less hits than that lol. but i was and am very proud of it! (tho w the hindsight of rereading i hate the formatting so much god learn to use paragraph breaks what is wrong with you aaaaaaa).

🍱 Do you read your own fics? 🍜 Do you ever feel pressured to write? 🍥 What's your favorite fic you've written?

🍱: Oh yes, all the time. Ultimately, I write them for myself so I am always the target audience. I like re-reading them, and also the comments too if I need an ego boost. There are a few I don't re-read as much because I don't think they're very good for whatever reason, and they make me cringe a bit.

🍜: Sometimes, but it's always pressure I put on myself, so I try to ignore it. I don't have anyone coming up to me and going, "Where's the next fic, you idiot!" Readers have been nicer than that to me, thankfully. If I feel pressured, it's because I've worked myself into an anxious spiral about disappointing people, and that's a problem only I can solve. I do have the thing where if I tell people about an idea I feel obligated to complete it and I hate leaving people waiting, which is why I never post fics before they're at least half-done.

Chiaki Nanami: Because of her lack of knowledge when it comes to romance, she often asks her classmates about what she should do to get closer to my s/i as soon as she started gaining feelings. She was lost, didn’t know what the feelings were at the start. She mostly asks Mahiru and Sonia for help. Ibuki tried to help, but usually ended up gushing over Chiaki even standing next to him.

Junko fucking Enoshima: Junko loves to inflict despair on others but when it comes to my s/i, she resorts to her usual flirting instead of focusing on bringing him into despair. Because he’s neither for hope nor despair, Junko finds him more fascinating than K//makura.

Yang Xiao Long: Yang has been afraid of losing my s/i since joining Beacon. While she isn’t very vocal about it, everyone picks up on it post fall of Beacon when RWBY reunites. That’s when Yang notices my s/i dyed his brown hair to blonde in the front and black in the back, leading her to feel like maybe she hasn’t pushed him away. Although she avoids to show it, whenever Ruby teases her about my s/i, her face goes immediately red.

Nora Valkyrie: Nora wants to be loved despite her various quirks; such as hyperactive as, wildness, knack to hit things. She’s afraid of never finding something like that until my s/i reassured her that the both of them would always strive towards making sure people acknowledge and treat them like they’re somebody, somebody worth attention. Although hesitant, Nora does get used to it and always looks forward to seeing just how much she can do with my s/i encouraging her.

Lapis Lazuli: Not truly a secret but my s/i is the first human (aside Steven) for Lapis to trust. She trusts him over the others, both him and Steven have shown her that not all humans are bad. While usually melancholy, Lapis is protective over my s/i, to the point where she almost drowned everyone in Beach City if the crystal gems made one false step.

Blake Belladonna: She adores it when my s/i pets her, even if she normally tells him to back off, he doesn’t. He can tell they way her ears perked up when he’s being affectionate is a sign that she’s comfortable around him. Not to mention, how much trust she has with him.

Neopolitan: She normally touches my s/i on the cheek as a sign of saying “I love you”, being mute doesn’t help when she wants to express her feelings but she can’t. Not to mention, my s/i can tell by the look in her eyes, she regrets having to fight him again and again.

I love the way her nails feel against my head when she’s running her fingers through my hair. It makes me practically fall asleep.

Junko is the one usually getting the gifts, it’s always new clothes for me, she knows how I am about my appearance. I’m quite surprised considering how much she loves watching people suffer.

❤️ - do you steal their clothes? If so, what is their reaction?

I LOVE stealing her Monokuma hair pins!! I don’t know why, but I do. Sometimes I even wear her boots so I can stand there and laugh about how I’m practically taller than her now. Now when she sees me doing either one of those, she will laugh and make sure she gets a photo for blackmail.

As a word for everyone else, these are my personal headcanons, not looking for discourse. I know how this fandom can be veeery toxic, both Danganronpa and RWBY.

I never really thought about it in depth but for basic sexualities;

Chiaki: asexual

Junko: bisexual

Yang: pansexual

Having Chiaki be asexual as a headcanon comforts me as someone who is also asexual.

Yang, Neo and I kill the spiders, Chiaki spares them. She’s kind and gentle, I’m not surprised, as for the rest of us, we’re chaotic.

4. When date night rolls around, are you going to a fancy candle-lit dinner, or are you staying home and watching the stars? Or something completely different that's special to you to guys? Who plans said date night? Is the other suprized?

Chiaki: We 100% stay home, probably eat some chips and call it a date. She just wants to play some video games and watch some shows. It’s no surprise when she’s the cute human version of a sloth, the girl will sleep anywhere so it’s better to just stay home.

Yang: Our date night includes sparring with each other, mostly ends with her picking me up with ease and giving me a kiss on the forehead. We head inside, make a meal and watch some show. I’m usually surprised with how calm she really is.

Neopolitan: Neo depends how she’s feeling! Most of the time it is stargazing with each other, but sometimes she does take me out to a fancy candle lit dinner, her semblance does come in handy so she won’t be recognised. Can’t forget she’s a villain!

8. Do you have any pets? If so, who named them? Who's more protective/clingy of them?

Chiaki: We have a nice pet corgi! His name is Link, yeah, take your wild guess on who named him and is more protective/clingy.

Yang: Zwei! Already having a pup, Yang calls me Zwei’s dad. Which doesn’t surprise me, Yang is very protective of me and Zwei.

Neopolitan: not yet!

10. If you're married, who proposed? What are your rings like, if you wear any. What was the ceremony like?

Chiaki: yup, yup!! I proposed and our rings are simple, player one and two engraved in each respectively. We invited our class to the wedding, just a gathering for close friends.

Yang/Neo: not yet! Just currently dating. 😋 especially Neo, she’s a villain on the run, kinda hard to marry right now!

Chiaki Nanami: The day of the wedding, Chiaki 100% fell asleep, standing up, at the alter while the priest read out the vows. My s/i didn’t mind, this was pretty normal of Nanami to do, he did help keep her standing while she power napped.

Yang Xiao Long; (my favourite headcanon ever) Yang is used to having my s/i sleep on her that when she isn’t having him curled up by her side, her hand still finds itself resting on her stomach and her head turned to the side as if someone were snuggling against the crook of her neck. ie: my s/i is usually there but when they don’t see eye to eye about a mission, they still miss each other regardless.
