((If this doesn’t make sense I was half asleep while writing it. It’s fucking midnight here))

He had picked up on it way before their yacht adventure. And had also picked up on the fact that V had never had sex before that point either, but Kerry was never one for old fashion and hey, at least it was a memorable first time. Kerry would have liked to at least buy him dinner before jumping to fucking on a burning yacht if he had known that had been the case.

But Vax was attractive! He probably wouldn’t have believed him if he had said something before hand, refused to believe that no one before him got to experience V before him. Not that he minded, Johnny had told Kerry that V had been a fan, and he was sure it was a dream come true to have such a thing happen, but the way V looked at him now was so much more than just a fan looking for a quick lay with his favorite artist.

And he was 100% positive Johnny was giving him shit for it. It wasn’t anything to be ashamed of, the more he had gotten to know V the more he noticed he seemed to have his heart closed off, something Kerry understood. Which did lead Kerry to wonder if he had been waiting, in which now he felt a little bad about it.

V didn’t seem too concerned, because he had been all smiles as the yacht went down and Kerry suggested a round two. To which they drove back to V’s place and continued where they left off in the shower, V eager to please. And that confirmed Kerry’s suspicions. V had a praise kink.

“There you are.” Kerry zoned back in to see V standing at the foot of the stairs, fixing his shirt over his head. He could hypothetically take it back off, and Kerry would be just fine with that. He did note a hint of relief from the young merc that he didn’t just up and abandon him.

“Decided we needed breakfast, that kind of fun works up an appetite.” He smiled as V came within in his arms reach, pulling him closer. He ran his hands up his sides, where he had become ver aquatinted with the snake tattoos on his side and back. V didn’t respond right away, eyebrow quirked a bit as he started at the food.

Kerry grabbed his chin, making him look at him. A smile appeared on his face, one that had Kerry’s hearts doing flips.

“Whatever he’s saying cannot be more important than food and me.” Kerry was probably right, and judging by V’s small laugh, he agreed. And Johnny probably hated that.

“He’s just pissy he couldn’t participate. And uh…” he cleared his throat and shook his head, face turning a bit red as he took a sip of his coffee.

“And what?”

“Nothin’.”

“I’ve already got you figured out V, and you’ll learn I don’t shy away from talking about it.” His ran a hand under his shirt and felt V shiver.

“I should have told you… but I didn’t think and it would have ruined the moment.” V explained softly, looking down a bit. “And it’s embarrassing that I was a 28 year old virgin.” Kerry shook his head.

“Nothin to be ashamed of, doll. Just hope it was a good one. Would hate to be your first time and it sucked.” V snorted and shook his head, still a bit red in the face.

“Yeah I Uh… holy fuck I’m not used to talking about this.” He admitted out loud, swallowing a bit of pride in the process.

“We don’t have to talk about it now, but I do want to talk about it. Boundaries and consent are serious to me, V.” Kerry said, holding his chin. “Especially when it comes to you, I don’t wanna fuck this up, or put you in a position where you’re uncomfortable.”

V blinked as if he wasn’t expecting that, probably wasn’t if he was honest. A lot of people probably didn’t think Kerry cared about such things, but he did. Especially with someone as inexperienced as Vax was.

“Now enough seriousness, I’m fucking starving.” He brought V down for another kiss before the two broke apart to actually eat.

“I do have a question though.” V said, sitting on a barstool as he bit into his muffin. “Was Johnny always such a fuckin’ cockblock?”

Kerry barked a laugh, nodding. “Yeah, lived with him for years barging in on my hookups and shit. Can’t imagine what it’s like with him living in your brain.”

“Let’s just say he talks a lot.”
