I didn’t fall in love with your wheelchair, no matter how cool it looks” He says as he lets go of your hand to touch one of the spider like legs that was attached to the side of your wheelchair. “I love you (Name).” He leans up and gently kisses your forehead before walking to the back of your wheelchair and pushing it once again.

“Thank you” You whisper, smiling gently as you stare ahead of you. He shrugs his shoulders, still smiling as he says,

“Don’t mention it”

This happens far too often, the kids pushing you out of your wheelchair and pushing it away from you, laughing as they watch you push yourself up. They’re cruel and you have to keep yourself from crying as you struggle to get to your wheelchair. One of the kids steps up, sneering at you.

“You’re like a spider without the working-”

“Finish that fucking sentence. I fucking dare you” Bakugou hissed, his hand already raised to injure, possibly even kill, them. His expression is dark as he glares them down.

“Oh shit!” The other cries as he turns on his heel, already sprinting away from the scene. The others follow his lead, leaving you and Bakugou alone. He covers his hand, the sounds of his explosions filling your ears as you look at him. He feels anger bubble up in him as he looks at your feeble body in the dirt and a part of him wants to chase those kids down and beat them until they’re bleeding and broken. He walks past you, grabbing your wheelchair and fixing the spider legs that had been bent before he walks over to you.

“I’m sorry Bakugou” You whisper as he wraps his one arm under your leg and the other around your back as he lifts you up, gently putting you back in your wheel chair as he helps your place your feet on the feet rests you have attached to your wheelchair.

“For what?” He hisses as he looks up at you. He reaches up and wipes away some blood that was seeping out from a cut on your cheek. You must have gotten it from when they pushed you to the ground. “You didn’t do shit. Those fucks did”

“But I did this to you,” You say, your insecurities finally coming to light, “I can’t give you what you want. We can’t go out together, we can’t have a public relationship, we can’t sleep together, we can’t-” Tears begin spewing from your eyes as you raise your hands to furiously wipe them away, holding back your broken sobs as you break down in front of Bakugou. His eyes widen as his hands fall from your legs.

“What the fuck did they say to you?” He says, his eyebrows furrowing together as he reaches up, pulling your hands away so he can look you in the eye. “I don’t fucking care about any of that shit. Don’t you fucking know that? I couldn’t care less. Who the fuck cares if we’re both guys or if you need a fucking wheelchair. I sure as hell don’t.” He wipes away some of your tears falling from your eyes. “So fuck them. Fuck everyone. You’re fine just the way you are” He huffs and you just stare at him, your hand resting itself on his as he let out another sob.
