Covered in head to toe with snow, Alex stood outside her doorway with a bouqet of paper flowers, accompanied with a box that was full of all and every plushie he made by hand, except the black cat. "Happy Valentines Day!" He exclaimed, muffled by his scarf. Like a boy, he extended the gifts to her. "I couldn't decide. Please keep all of them." Had it not been for the scarf, Reanne would be subjected to the flustered expression he had on his face.

UNPROMPTED ┊always accepting.

The last thing she expected this holiday was to be greeted with the sight of her crush at the door. Honestly, she had only gone out to maybe catch that high end dinner deal she saw on a mall flyer, but seeing a familiar dark haired boy standing at her door threw that plan out the window. Considerably baffled by the exclamation—Reanne hadn't expected him to show up at all—the auburn haired girl looked at him speechless. Then a box of crochet dolls and a bouquet of paper flowers was thrust before her.

She couldn't help but peer into the box filled with the cutest renditions of critters in it—a little green frog, a dark blue whale, a yellow octopus, a white rabbit, and lastly a light blue penguin all with those beady black eyes that maximized the cute factor.

Woah, such... cute... crochet dolls!! And the flowers too?

❝ These are... for me? ❞ she murmured in disbelief as she took the flowers carefully from the boy's reddened and cold fingers, a blush blossoming on her cheeks. What was with the sudden spotlight she felt she was under? Gingerly reaching her free hand out towards the adorable light blue penguin doll that was calling her name, Reanne gently wrapped her hand around the delicate craftsmanship, stroking its head with her finger.

Was it just her or was she seriously surrounded by such talented and skilled artist friends now? This little penguin was so cute she just had to cuddle it tonight!! Ahhh! It was such a perfect little thing! She'd keep it on her bed and squeeze it and throw it in the air and— Gosh, she was absolutely smitten with this little guy! And the best part was that the guy she liked was the one who made it! How could it be any better than that?!

Her gaze momentarily returned to Alex, cutting her internal gushing short. Should she reaffirm how she felt about him? Definitely! Clearing her throat, Reanne shyly lowered her gaze to the dolls, fixing her eyes on the little penguin. She began to open her mouth but then her chance slipped away when the boy insisted she take all of them. Huh, wait. S-She couldn't take all of them! That would be— wasn't she only supposed to take one of them? Taking all of them would be rude wouldn't it, even if they were all super adorable?

Pulling her arm back she lifted her gaze to the boy in front of her, the one currently hiding away in his scarf, ❝ Hey! I can't—! ❞ Hold on, Reanne. Tell him your feelings without any doubts this time. Then you can address the other stuff.

❝ Um, I as much as I hate the idea of saying it today of all days... ❞ she slowly trailed off, weighing whether or not it was worth officially taking their relationship to the next level. She could always pretend they got together on a different day if she really hated it that much—not that she was ever good with remembering anniversaries anyway; yeah, that was reassuring—just forget the date and only remember the memory. Looking into Alex's eyes, she grew more serious, her free hand twirling locks of her hair around its fingers, ❝ I want to officially be your girlfriend if you'll let me. ❞

As her gaze lifted, she finally was able to face Alex properly, and it was then she noticed all the snow piling in his hair too. Eyes widening as she realized the amount of snow he was covered with, Reanne scrambled to somehow help him warm up, brushing the snow off his jacket the best she could with her bare hands.

Alarmed at the possibility of him giving himself a cold, the girl abruptly ushered him inside her apartment by tugging at his arms with her hands, ❝ Ah! Come inside before you freeze! ❞ she exclaimed hurriedly, only just realizing how long he was likely waiting out there for her to open the door if not preparing himself for this conversation. She couldn't let him freeze out here! ❝ we can keep talking inside! ❞

Happy belated truce @wingedflight I’m your back-up gifter and I hope you like it TT0TT I spent way too long trying to write this and I feel like it could still be better, but I’d still be writing it 3 months from now if I didn’t make myself post it

Amity Park, a nice place to live.

At one time, this would have been the sign to greet visitors to this midwestern town. And at a glance, many would probably still mistake it for the truth. It was fairly quaint, the buildings rundown in a charming sort of way. Everyone seemed to know everyone, and the citizens all came across as friendly.

However, if one were to spend any amount of time in Amity, they'd quickly find out about some of its "quirks".

For one, it's been a hotspot of supernatural activity for nearly three years. Daily ghost attacks were just the norm nowadays. It wasn't unusual for the townsfolk to continue with their usual routines while a block over a building is being destroyed by a giant green ghost shaped like some sort of cephalopod. No, despite appearances, this was not your average American town. Thankfully for the Amity Parkers, they are lucky enough to have not one, but two resident superheroes: Phantom, who had been protecting the town since the ghost attacks first started, and the Red Huntress, who appeared shortly after. The two would often butt heads, but they always put the safety of the average person first. It was when a second Phantom appeared that something seemed to change. ----- "Danny, are you sure this is a good idea?"

"What? You mean letting Ellie help out with the you-know-whats?"

Sam sighed, "Yes that. You said she's only been stable for what, like a week? Besides, what if people notice she doesn't look like the Phantom they're used to?"

"Sam, they're not going to notice," Danny rolled his eyes as he slammed his locker door shut. The loser trio of Casper High were huddled around their lockers like always. Looking around to make sure no one unwanted was in earshot he continued, "If they haven't noticed that I look suspiciously like Phantom by now, they're not going to notice a nearly identical girl in a hoodie doing the same job." "Yeah, Sam," Tucker added, "Lighten up a bit. She lived by herself for a year and helped punch out Plasmius, I think she can take care of herself."

"And you aren't worried about Red either?"

Living up to his nickname as the clueless one, a look of confusion flashed over Danny's features, "Why would I be worried about her?"

The trio jolted as the warning bell rang and began making their way to the first class of the day, settling into their seats at the back of the class.

"Newsflash, genius, the Huntress knows that Ellie is only half ghost," Sam hissed. "So, if she's 'Phantom's cousin', she might figure out that Phantom is half human too."

With a groan, Danny flopped face first onto his desk. Tucker let out a nervous laugh and pat the halfa's shoulder. "It's fine. I'm sure if she hasn't figured it out by now, she isn't going to!" "I really hope you're right, Tuck."

The chattering in the room quieted down as Mr. Lancer cleared his throat, " Good morning, class." ----- Class had only been in session for twenty minutes when a familiar chill washed over Danny. His hand shot into the air before the icy mist could even pass his lips.

"Yes, Mr. Fenton?" Lancer sighed.

Eyes flitting back and forth, Danny briefly spied a large bear-like ghost approaching the school. "May I go to the restroom?" he shrugged sheepishly.

"I'm not sure why you still bother to ask since you'll go even if I say no, but yes, you may."

Danny rushed out of the room before Lancer could resume lecturing. Ignoring the direction of the nearest bathroom, he leaped into the first janitor's closet he could find and allowed the bright rings of transformation to change him into the black hazmat-suited Danny Phantom.

Phasing through the walls of the school, he barreled straight into the ghost a few yards away from a classroom.

Suddenly an ectoblast shot from behind him and directly into the bear's eyes. "I thought you were going to let me handle the attacks during school hours," Ellie called.

"And listen to another minute about the symbolism in the Scarlet Letter? Hard pass," Danny rolled his eyes and kicked the ghost to the ground, forming a small crater with the impact. "Got the thermos?" "Right here!" Ellie declared. With a flourish she unclipped the thermos from her belt and aimed for the formerly rampaging ghost. After one last rage-filled growl, the bear was gone, and the school was safe again. Now that the threat was gone, the two Phantoms retreated to the rooftop of the school.

"Thanks for all the help lately, Ellie, I appreciate it. You didn't get hurt back there, right?"

"Please! Me, get hurt? You're the one that tackled the thing, " Ellie shoved him lightly.

"Well as long as you're okay. See you after-"

"Phantom!"

The two ghosts turned towards the voice. Hovering there, not too far from the edge of the roof, was the Red Huntress. Danny felt himself tense at the sight of the ghost hunter, but seeing no weapons, stayed where he was.

"Red!" Danny chuckled nervously, "What brings you around here?"

The huntress sighed and hopped down to the rooftop beside them. "We need to talk."

"Talk? Talk about what?"

"The time for secrets is over," she said. "I could never live with myself if I found out I'd killed a human."

Danny flinched. "What do you mean?"

"Phantom, it wasn't that hard to figure out," she placated. "If Ellie is your cousin and she's only half ghost, then it makes sense that you are too."

"Heh, oops."

"Hey, no," Danny scolded. "Your safety is more important than my secret. And well, she's not exactly my cousin."

"I guessed as much. You look exactly alike. Twins?" "Something like that," the two half ghosts replied. "Anyway," the huntress started, "I'm sorry for trying to waste you all these years."

"And I'm sorry about Cujo, he really wasn't my dog," he said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

The huntress barked out a laugh, " Fair enough. Why don't we make that truce official?" With that she removed her helmet. "I'm Valer-"

"Valerie?" he practically shouted.

Ellie giggled, "Oh, you didn't know?"

Danny's face grew cold with a dark green blush, the two girls snickering at his embarrassment.

"So, I guess if you know me," Valerie pondered, "then that means I probably know you."

He released the transformation, returning to regular old Danny Fenton. Valerie's jaw dropped.

"D-danny?" she squeaked. “Surprise?”

I feel pretty chuffed that people took to the Jinx! Crystal Friends AU, and yes that's what I'm calling it 😄❤️

I like to think that her friends and family would figure out ways to get Powder to be less distant with them, albeit a bit clumsy at first *cough* Mylo annoys Powder just to wind her up *cough* 🤦

But after awhile they would try to appeal to her newest interests, Claggor might start it off by asking what the symbols meant and seeing how excited she gets as she explains them, Vi takes to stealing books on magic and runes (and magical beasts after Powder went on for an hour and a half about the Brakerns, which both embarrassed and endeared the Namestones) for her because Vi is totally that parent that buys presents for their kid when they've wronged said kid; she also sits Powder down and properly apologizes for locking her in the basement, which truly starts to improve things in their relationship again.

Vander would probably try to be more hands on in raising Powder, and stops leaving her upbringing to her equally young sister.

Annnnnnnd Mylo...

Is still an annoying little shit 😤 but he at least tries to change his attitude, but him and Powder are still at each other's throats.

There is at least one or two Namestones going "Dew it" to Powder when she contemplates putting bad luck curses on Mylo's shoes, so that he's constantly tripping 😂😂

Mylo purposely provoking her at first to try and get a rise out of her is very in character (to get his little sister to just talk to him because he's starting to feel bad and contrary to popular belief he doesn't actually hate her). I feel like half of the time he doesn't even realize what's coming out of his mouth, so when someone asks why he's so mean to Powder/why he doesn't like her he's genuinely shocked at the accusation.

I feel like it would take them a while to figure out the symbols were runes, and when they'd question her on where she learned about them she would just shrug and not answer.

Personally, I think it would take some prodding to get her to open up about her new interest (I could see Mylo succumbing to his foot in mouth disease and making her clam up for a bit) but when she does open up, she's just so excited to share what she's been learning.

I... feel like she'd be more at ease with Claggor at first (the kid is literally such a good older brother - a bit of a bystander but otherwise very good). Powder would be explaining what she’s learned about runic magic, all excited and bouncy, but then when Vi walks into the room she just goes quiet.

(I'm sorry for taking your happy AU and making it sad TT0TT i had to torture Vi a bit)

Vi bringing her reading material (which would be HARD to get, especially for magic) would definitely warm Powder back up to her - and the apology would definitely help as well. I feel like a part of Powder knew that Vi didn't mean to hurt her, but it still felt horrible in the moment.

(I don't think Vi would be able to find anything on Brackern tbh, but she would find books on different magical beasts and different species in general)

Ah man, I’m glad I can make you feel like keeping trying!! I answered an ask like this a while back here and I can’t say I have anything new to say on the matter? I hope it’ll help you! In the end the biggest suggestion I can give you is to try to figure out what it is that you want to draw and just draw it! Even if you don’t know how to, just draw it the way you can! As long as the act of drawing itself makes you happy more than the final result you’ll keep up with it and the improvement will come for sure!

Would be a grinning mess. He couldn’t help but smile everytime you’d nonchalantly kiss him on the lips every time the two of you met. It seemed very domestic like you two were a married couple, not that the two of you already didn’t act like one. He would always be in such a pleasant mood after you kiss him the maknaes would start to freak out. Earning them a glare from their Bob the Builder leader. With how elated he was from your affection and kisses, you can bet the other extreme occurs if he doesn’t get this TLC. He’d be a grumpy puppy, moping away and tuning his guitar for hours even if it was already tuned. The group would be perturbed by the now scary leader, but they knew exactly what to do to make their leader all bright and smiley again.

The elder would be immediately flustered and be like ‘You cray girl’ before rolling his eyes and going back to tuning his guitar. Awkward pup. Awkward pup times 1000. He would be so caught off guard by the sudden kisses no matter how long you two had been dating. You would find it so cute and endearing everytime jumped slightly at your pecks or even hold the spot where you kissed him. You remember one time he even dropped his drumstick because he was clutching his cheek in awe. Of course the hyung line would tease the lost little pup, but he paid them no mind. Were they getting kisses from the most beautiful girl in the world? No. So he won in the end. Though he might be as kissy as the other boys are he would definitely return your affection with cuddles. Everytime you kissed him on the cheek or lips he would pull you into a cuddle, letting out a low chuckle every time your hair tickled his nose. He would enjoy your warmth so much that the pup would even fall asleep.

Persona 3 Problems: Maiko Birthday Shenanigans!

Interesting things going on with Maiko in the fandom. Won't say what but let's just say......jail to that person (and *saves screenshot* At least FeMC fans have ammo to fire back TT0TT)

BUT besides that......welllllll. That post made me realize something. Atlus is inconsistent about her age!

Maybe that's why I thought Maiko was A LOT closer to Ken's age than I originally thought, but the game (iirc OG/FES/3P) actually says she's a 2nd grader. I DO remember P3P stating that, because that's the version I usually play (SHOCKER! in my defense half of it is because it's usually on the go, and the other half is I like seeing differences between the male/female sides....it's also faster). Anyway, it was also the first thing I checked when I did a playthrough, so I'm fairly certain.

Buuuuut according to the wiki (fandom one, I know I know, issues, I'll see what I can do about updating it, but I have to bring ammo/screenshots u_u), she's a Libra (ok so far so good, also Nanako is a Libra, ironically, also Nanako is in 1st grade iirc), and she's.....9. HuH? Wut?

Apparently P3P will list her as 9 years old. Specifically on the TV missing person announcement..... Which I do vaguely recall them mentioning her on the TV, I don't remember the age they mentioned. ;w; So I'll need to double check that.

Anyway this is a problem, because it doesn't make sense/add up, and contradicts the line about being a 2nd grader (fun fact: if you clicked the link above, Maiko is born the same year as Futaba, but Futaba should be a year ahead of her....tho iirc P5S states Futaba's been held back a year? So now they are ironically in the same grade? TT0TT). 1st graders in Japan are generally 6->7, and 2nd graders are 7->8, 3rd 8->9, 4th 9->10, 5th 10->11 and so on! So Maiko can't be a 2nd grader and 9 unless she was held back....which the OG text doesn't indicate. But if she WAS 9, she'd be either a 3rd or 4th grader (Ken is 5th grade). I'd have to check, but I coulda sworn she was much smaller than Ken (who would only be a grade or 2 above her).

Fun fact she goes missing (assuming the websites are correct) around 10/21. I'd have to look at the timing of the news broadcast, but that would mean she we missing 1) a little while after her birthday (between a few weeks to literally yesterday) , 2) it was on her birthday (;w;), 3) it was the day before her birthday (;w;)

Because of that ONE day, it's hard to tell if it's saying she JUST turned 9, or is actually about to turn 10.

Her birthday, if the 2nd grader thing is correct (along with the Libra thing), she'd be turning 8 in 2009. So 2009-8=2001! So her birthday should be c. September 23-October 22, 2001 (she'd be 14->15 in P5 but 15 in P5S. Futaba for ref turned 15 before P5 started and turned 16 near the end of P5, and is 16 in P5S)

If the 3rd grade theory is correct, the the birthday would be: c. September 23-October 22, 2000 (this would put her in the same year as Futaba, assuming Futaba didn't drop out originally)

If the 4th grade theory is correct (assuming she hadn't had her birthday): September 23-October 22, 1999 (this would put her in the same year as P5MC/Anne/Ryu/Yusuke, for reference on Ken, Ken is in the same grade as Goro/Mako/Haru).

The fandom Wiki seems to be going for the latter two (if you read the hovered note).

Personally? I think P3P just.......made a mistake (people like the bring up "Atlus can't math" a lot esp with that one thing with P4, so it's not that far fetched). That OR (which I think is funnier and more tragic TT0TT). Her parents reported her age wrong. ajskdflj;f

I mean, they are in the middle of (or just finished their) divorce. They are both a taaaaaad bit neglectful since they don't realize Maiko's been hanging out with a high schooler for so long (as well as planning to run away). So I wouldn't be surprised if they fucked up the reporting lkajfdsljfaka So it might not be a Persona 3 (Portable) Problem, but a .....Persona Parent problem! ;D

ANYWAY, this is something I wanna keep an eye out when I replay the P3 games (along side when I'm playing P3R). So expect a sequel post.

I saw this on a thread and it had me thinking: you think you might just be falling out of love with persona in general? (Or at least the direction persona has been taking since p5?) It kinda sounds like your problems with persona ain't gonna be fixed any time soon especially given the hostile responses to P6 hopes/wishlists/whatever

So like, maybe. But I can't know until we get outta P5 hell. TT0TT Cause it's been pretty P5 centric, and well....everything P5 centric has carried over P5's sins. The only exception is MAYBE P5X, partly because it's a new cast and partly because it might be an AU. (which does have me hopefully as much as I'm trying to reign it in).

"What about P3R" I don't like how it was handled, but I have other versions I can go back to. Tbh, PQ2 and P3D, with all the flaws and how they were handled, when you look at just the P3/4 stuff, it's good. It's when P5 came into the mix. TT0TT (For PQ2 it's lore stuff, for P3/5D it's just splitting assets and resources so that neither could obtain their full potential imo).

We'll find out with P6.......

As for wishlists/hopes....I wasn't hostile. TT0TT Sorry if it came across as that. I was just joking I have such low expectations, mostly cause P5 (and now P3R) have burned me. I mean, given that P5D flopped and Atlus stopped making dancing games but kept/keeps on making P5 spinoffs I'm doubtful that Atlus would make tactics games whether P5T does good or bad (plus I feel like its every other time I hear about it I hear a persona fan mentioning they're not a fan of tactics games so it's def not just a thing on this blog)

No no, it's that, P5S is like the most successful P5 spinoff imo (didn't look at the sales but I think it might be the best selling Persona spinoff in general)....but we also haven't had a P5S2, or DLC for it (surprisingly/unfortunately), or another Persona game just like it (like P1S or Raidou S or yadda yadda).

Unlike P5S, Dancing and Qs are made in house, P5T is too? I haven't been paying attention. TT0TT It could be they are just focused on T and...."Asa"? and P3R and/or something else. So that could explain the lack of another dancing game (or Q). Plus, again, the dancing games are more of a celebration. I can see a P5D2 happening as we get closer to P6 tbh (if not a P3/4/5D PS5+others port). (and I'm sure they are figuring out how to port Q to other places now they don't have the dual screen). Hello there! sorry if this is a bother but do you still know anything else about atlusxp5? i've been digging as of recently

Sorry it took a bit to respond (was away on vacay). Funny you should say that, I recently looked at their channel to see if they've updated since their last teaser from 4 years ago TT0TT (spoiler: they have not)

What I know about it (from memory). Prior to P5 ever having a speck of actual confirmation on the internet, someone decided to make a fan P5 project called "Persona 5 Imagining Project/P5IP" and it was "by" AtlusxP5 (link to channel). They posted some cool songs (that aren't original, they are copyrighted, but still awesome), some character sheets (possibly on twitter? I don't know much about that side, sadly it's defunct ;w;), and trailers, and people analyzed it on the now defunct Atlus Forums/Threads

I think Atlus struck them down (or they had to priv their videos at least for a good while, and their twitter's gone so....who knows what happened tbh) and.....well.....we don't know what's up anymore. TT0TT

Thankfully, a lot was saved/salvaged by the lovely trifectamix, who has all the songs iirc as well as pics of the char sheets and threads. I highly recommend them! They did a great job preserving an amazing period piece of Persona fandom!

If you wish you had more of a fix....well good news, another fan creator (Assinine Syndrome) wanted to continue the saga. Or at least, write a fanfic-type posts about what they think would've happened. Most of the writing are in the video descriptions iirc. But they follow a similar format of existing songs (and remixing/mashing them up), and I recommend them! They finished their version of P5IP and have gone onto their own fan music list of P6 VERGS (and seem to have a P7 concept in the works).

Here's Assinine Syndrome's channel (where the meat of it all is), and here's their fanfic page, they only did like a prologue chapter to P5IP/P6V but it might still be notable to read if you're interested.

(note in case I've confused anyone: AS isn't AtlusxP5, I believe they are just a big fan of P5IP is all, but they're stuff is fun too and I recommend them).

If it's something I've yet to play then I dunno.

But if it's going back and playing older games I've played the hell out of.....hmmm let's start there I guess:

I like Pokemon, but I'm not gonna compete to be the biggest know-it-all with that franchise (esp with the amount of conflicting info and canons and possibly mistranslations). It's astronomical compared to MegaTen.... (what applies to Pokemon can also be applied to Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh too....)

Dragon Ball.......Tbh I'm not that into fighting games, maybe if I ever get a Legacy of Goku 4 fkjdlajf; Gimme some good RPG DB games and I'm down (I have Kakarot and the Legacy of Goku games tho)

There's really no plot/character/story analysis I can do on the Tony Hawk games.....

I like DMC and Nioh, but I feel like those games and fandoms are more focused on the gameplay mechanics....plus they aren't exactly easy games to just "kick back and enjoy" I have to really concentrate which is draining...... (more so Nioh than DMC, but I'm more invested in Nioh than DMC so that's an issue TT0TT)

I love Assassins' Creed, but even I know the amount of content I'd have to hard core consume (between AC and AT LEAST Watch Dogs......oof). Just thinking about it might explode my brain. u_u

Love Rule of Rose, but other fans have dug deeper done everything with it. So there's nothing for me to really bring to the table.

.hack.....maybe I could get back into that? My knowledge is mostly in the novles/manga I've read tho. ("But Silly! Isn't that technically a fantasy game?" I mean.....yes but it's modern day chars playing a video game. I dunno I always found that idea novel alongside 'oh people are dying' mystery. It's why I watched SAO because it reminded me of .hack! ....I'm not getting into SAO tho >_>)

Most heavy fantasy.....probs not likely but not impossible. The thing with Persona/Megaten is that they usually have a very "grounded in real life" kinda vibe going on. Which was nice because it felt like less stuff I had to memorize to understand the world. Plus it was more of a vibe I liked..... (but I'll mention some of the well known franchises....mostly cause they are the ones with the most entries to get into)

Love KH but I don't really wanna deep dive into it (I think the writing was best in KH1 and CoM, I think Sora's char has really devolved over the games, and I hated 3D and KH3). I am keeping an eye on KH4 and maybe even Verum Rex (which I'm pulling for us to get, outta all the FF games, FFvs13 was always one I was super interested in).

FF.....I'll play them, but I'm not that invested into them. (12's ok, 7's ok, 7R's ok but I need to finish those three first.... I liked 15 even tho it was messy, I hate 13 with a passion, I should try 10 cause it reminds me of Destiny Islands. 15 and 10 are the best contenders for me to be invested in tbh).

Tales of...... tbh Xillia always interested me the most. I should go through my backlog......I'm like halfway through Arise so I should probs pick that back up.

Maybe I should try Ys? Or finish the Trails of/Legends games I have too, tho I'm not very invested in that that.

Atelier series.....I should finish the games I have of that....then again....it's related to Mana Khemia right? I actually played and liked the first game of that (I sucked at it so I don't think I finished, that and I think I got P4 within that year so that ended up consuming me not long after)......I should give Mana Khemia another chance.

Oh there's also the Lunar series......I was always interested in that after I was graced with the game Lunar Dragon Song as a kid. :'D Weep for me yes, weep. I know. u_u IYKYK

I like Harvest Moon/Story of seasons.....but not enough to like...deep dive into stuff.

I mostly play Slime Rancher for the gameplay loop than the analysis too tbh.....

Far Cry 5 is a heavy contender. I did get lucky, outta all of the FC games....at least this one not only got a direct sequel with New Dawn (even tho it deals more with the Highway men than the cultists *sobs*), it also got a tie-in DLC with FC6......plus I got that novel, and the little bit of supplementary material. The issue, which is a double edge sword....is that it ends there. There's a lot of side content I could probs find and dissect, but once I find it all it ends.

At least with Persona, I can expect the world to keep going and expanding (either it's main continuity or the larger continuities in general). FC I'm not sure.....they might have diff timelines but no in an interactive way like MegaTen does.....

I guess I can try a swing at Mind=0, Tokyo Xanadu, Caligula 1/2, or Monark. Both with finishing and attempting to hyperfixate....but they just don't hit the same. Plus I run into a similar problem as with FC5....it's pretty much it when it ends (and unlike FC5, I doubt those games have as much content).

Hmmmm I've heard good things about Suikoden......same with Phantasy star, Chrono trigger, Mother/earthbound.....maybe actually finish FE 3Hs......

I think I know what I'm gonna name my char.... One char's name of French origin, another two are of German....so I'm thinking of naming the MC "Wendell" which means "traveler" since Atlus likes to refer to them as "traveling boy". Plus it's gender neutral (at least some sources, some say it's male while Wendall is female but I don't care that much), considering the char is very.......pretty....and.....I think he's gender neutral looking by design. (if I get a last name then Narr, German for Fool, considering Studio Zero having the Fool Arcana as their logo and......well early concept art of this game reminding me of that).

I think I'll keep that naming convention for this game (Wanderer/Traveler and Fool for first and last name). Maybe I'll change the origin but I'll stick with German for now.

Honestly I think the stuff with Hashino and Soejima isn't as important as it's being made out to be; I think the main thing going on is they took the A team persona staff with them for studio zero, and their work and experience really shows in Re:fantasy so far. That's a norm in game development and teams

Yeah, it just seems par for the course, esp with people that have been working together for years and know what vision/direction they wanna see.

Personally I still think it's plausible. It might not be AS SOON. Like if they didn't release a "remaster" then it would've probably been something announced A LOT sooner.

But I think it something we could get in the next 3-5 years.

My ideas they could include in a remake.

But yeah, considering the rumors AGAIN, I'm none too surprised if we get it. I was hoping they'd pull a FF7 (and I guess RE4 can be added to that, at least the PS4 version), and have the original available in their classics as a port and then also have a remake. I'm not against them porting the older versions and I very much encourage it (cause some of us like the older versions, and it's great to have an option to play either the new or older ver).....

That being said it's probs a cash grab on Atlus' end. But hey, if it works in the favor of the consumer....I'm not complaining. ;D Atlus is probs thinking "Ok this is easy money, quick port cash grab, and then we'll hit 'em with a really good lookin' remake and take their money BOTH times!"

Considering how well Persona sells in general, with other ports and remakes (lord knows what the sales on digital ports are!) even prior to being released on all consoles. And before P5 (tho P5 continues to sell well). I don't think Atlus should be too concerned about a port being meh...... Not that I'm defending them, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's their thought process and hey, if it still gets us a good remake that's fine by me. Shame the port is meh but it could be worse (it could be $60 and running like the PS3 ports of Silent hill 1/2 :'D...and at least we have modders to improve on it TT0TT)

(now if Atlus will just port Catherine FB to steam....I think I prefer the Classic version they have up there, but I want both versions damnit!)

Nah I haven't picked it up since I last talked about it (was waiting for that sprint button lkajsdflk I just caught up to where my save data deleted for DDS1 tho so I'm playing that atm).

Meh isn't bad imo. It can be better, but it's not bad. It's middle. From what I've played it's perfectly mid (and I don't think mid is bad, even tho people use mid as an insult to make it synonymous with bad). (My mindset in that tweet was probably char limits and meh=fine/mid/ok maybe not all synonymous but my general vibe)

I do believe if it wasn't called SH2 it would be received a lot better.

That being said, I don't think it's of the quality that Atlus usually brings (*for MegaTen).... or at least, I think it says something that with all these recent releases.... it's the "Perfectly middle" game I think is the best so far (*For MegaTen). TT0TT (next would probs be SMTV, which is also mid from what I hear, but I really should wait until I finish both). I don't want to count ports (but SMT3 and P3P had some pretty bad ones from what I've noticed TT0TT)

P3D was crippled, P5D was soulless, PQ2 (while it had FeMC which that and actually not screwing up Yosuke's/Teddie's characterization for once as it's only good parts) really screwed up the lore and was just a general down grade with how it handled character screen time/ themes/dungeon design, P5S was probably the worst one (it both seemed to understand and not understand P5 at the same time, but....it was very barren and boring on top of that....I tried my best to scrub it from my mind I'd have to replay sadly to get into details TT0TT). So by the time SMTV and SH2 arrived I'm like "yeah it may be mid, but it's better food than what I've been getting for the last few years TT0TT so it's MY mid."
