not so fun fact about mugen: you have to sign up to the mugen archive if you ever want to download a file that is bigger than 1MB. so i had to make an account but you have to wait 24 hours for your account to get processed before downloading anything.

ANYWAYS. most of my mugen roster is MOSTLY kof stuff lol. I should probably give the actual kof anthology a go too as a proper game lol.

#i've also thought about emulating kof games and apparently the ps2 emulation is REALLY good or at least runs well #also i impulsively bought duke nukem 30th anniversary because it was below $5.00. i haven't even played it yet #shallow rambles

something very optimistic and self assured in me decided to go to med school a couple of months ago and now i’m stuck drowning myself in both genetics and chemistry checking last year’s entrance exam’s preliminary results while barely awake. on a friday night.

#you know i thought it would be fun it would be out of my comfort zone i’d kill myself out of boredom if i continued w humanities i thought #i needed a challenge and it’s tremendously stupid of me especially since i’m very much an idler a slacker a very very sleepy girl and i was #never very invested in school but my grades were always effortlessly Fine like 4.20 4.30 / 5.00 that’s Fine but it knocks down my school #points to 33/4 out of 40 and other 60 points come from biology and chemistry test and the fucking entrance exams are notoriously hard and i #have no basis at this point i’m going for sheer luck and procrastination + stress i’ve decided i already enrolled idc idc i’m practically #a doctor now -> halfway through an additional biology course and knows genetics

Starting Wednesday, AMC Theaters is offering special "fan fave" movies in honor of Black History Month.

Fans will be able to watch some recently-released Black-led films for $5 in select theaters across the country.

The theater chain is offering discounted tickets to movies including "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever"; Viola Davis’ action epic, "The Woman King"; the Jonathan Majors-starring "Devotion"; and the historical drama, "Till".

we get a lot of patients who have medicaid plans and want their glasses to be as fully covered by insurance as possible due to limited income. perfectly valid, but me as a person desperately wishes that better lens materials are fully covered instead of cr-39

see this pair we just dispensed today. one eye has some very mild astigmatism and the other did not. this RX was at the strength I'd recommend a thin lens but it's the most expensive and also can't have a hard line bifocal, which is what this patient ordered:

he seemed happy with them and knew that the lens was probably going to be thick; I'm also relieved he liked this shape because I was the one that did this order. He got a fully round frame which is better for higher prescriptions but that basic plastic is really damn heavy.
