how do you make your stickers?

I've gone through a few different avenues over the years but I'm currently having outside companies produce my stickers. My fave is Sticker Ninja but I do use Sticker Mule on occasion. However, I'm trying to move away from Sticker Mule due to some controversial things I've heard over the years (you can just google it), but it's really hard sometimes since their deals make their stickers affordable and I'm trying to, you know, live. Sticker Ninja is great though! I use a lot of temperamental colors in my work and they always go above and beyond to get the printing just right. Their staff are always super friendly, they are local to me, and they seems to have good business practices. Plus they also do deals if you keep up with their ig account. Early on I did make my stickers. I used sticker photo paper and then would slap on self-adhesive laminating sheets for extra protection. Then I would use my cricut/silhouette machine to cut them. Or hand cut them! My uni had a print shop too and they were really flexible so sometimes I'd just bring in sticker paper and they'd be fine with printing on that.

Another wip Wednesday! Some hella sick Synthwave vibes. 😎 Fun fact: When I was younger I lived in a rural town where you had to drive through the mountains to get to the nearest city. This is always how it felt to kid me when the city lights and buildings started peaking out as you crossed over the top of the pass.

My first wip wednesday! Last year I finished the game Pentiment and proceeded to fall down a rather healthy deep wikipedia hole. That's when I started working on this! A pixel art version of The Anatomical Zodiac Man page from the illuminated manuscript Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry. I have been working on it on/off ever since. Not sure when it'll be finished as it continues to be a massive time commitment. Here are some snippets in the meantime including an ungodly(heh) amount of fancy leaves. Also, did I mention this is all in Illustrator so it's technically a vector!
