Hi! This is going to be a studyblr/langblr/occasional writeblr. I hope that people will enjoy my content!

Who am I?

Y’all can call me mirai

I’m a girl (she/her) who loves learning languages

I’m infp-t

I’m studying for my A-levels

I love fanfiction and k-pop (reveluvs, army and blinks hmu)

I’m an aspiring author and polyglot

I write creatively and post fanfiction and poetry on ao3

What about my studies?

For A-levels I’m studying English literature, French, Spanish and history, and I’m hoping for 4 A*s

I’m learning French (B2) and Spanish (A2/B1). I also want to learn German (A1), but I don’t have a lot of time right now.

I’m also dabbling in Korean, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and Russian.

I’m also interested in social justice, marxism and linguistics

I just love to learn

What are my current goals?

Become fluent in French and Spanish and start learning German again

Get 4 A*s at A-level

Post on this blog regularly

Learn how to cook

Make a dent in my reading list

What will I post?

100/100 days of productivity!! | 16.08.2021

I didn't do them one after the other bc I at least tried to have days off this term, but I did it! might just start that again right away it's kinda motivating :)

study things I did today:

more analysis work! hopefully I have it written by tomorrow evening, we'll see

first it's time to set up my new laptop and then go to sleep asap bc I got too little last night and it wasn't even quality sleep. hearing the cats having their zoomies at 3am was not pleasant but I'll get used to it

Hey y’all! I’m finally posting a picture of my workspace lol. But yeah, this past week has been pretty busy and all and classes start tomorrow! Also, something pretty awesome happened. I decided to take the ACT practice test on a whim and I got a 33! Which is much better than my 1330 SAT score. So now I’m gonna ask my mom to register me for it bc why not?

16th August - What is the weirdest ice cream flavour that you’ve ever seen (and maybe even tasted?

None, unfortunately. I’m not very keen on trying out weird ice cream flavors, but I have seen garlic flavored ice cream before

i'm a double major in spanish and latin american studies with a minor in portuguese & brazilian cultural studies

this is my last year of undergrad, i'm currently in the process of applying to doctoral programs

apple cinnamon pumpkin cupcakes! i’ve been trying to get back onto a productivity streak and today was decently progressive. i submitted a biological anthropology assignment, did some gerontology extra credit, replied to all my emails, filled out a form for next term’s psychology class, finished an envsci lab, started (and completed!) a web design project, wrote one page of my homo naledi research paper, and created an introduction to a writing piece
