I don't see enough Fangxin Goushi fics or art so I made a prompt that planning to write in the future (hopefully), but I wanted to share it incase anyone else wanted it. But it's basically a canon divergents of what if the Gilded banquet didn’t happen and Lang Qianqiu made Fang Xin Goushi his deputy general. Now Xie Lian has to be Lang Qianqiu’s Goushi while hiding his true identity.

Thought it would be fun to see Xie Lian in his baby girl era become the mother to the "younger" official's and have them follow him around like duckings while he is trying his hardest for Feng Xin and Mu Qing or anyone else not to figure out who he is.

This is my daily struggle, I had so many arguments with people with off-leash dogs (in a mandatory leash area!!!). Thanks to this behavior I'm struggling with Kim being anxious/aggressive with other females as she often gets involved in unpleased interactions with free females while on leash. And every single time that I ask for the dog to be at least recalled, I'm being called names and insulted of course.

Also 9 out of 10 their dog isn't really that friendly at all.

I just binged all of M!ik, and i just have to say how much I love how diverse the gender expression is among its characters!!

Like the obvious one is Opera, who’s canonically Non-Binary and uses they/them pronouns (at least in the English translation, since Japanese doesn’t really use gendered pronouns the same way), and who presents with a mix of feminine and masculine attributes, without it ever being seen as something strange by the other characters. Like, everyone just accepts that Opera is neither a man or woman. They’re just Opera.

But even outside of everyone’s favorite cat-demon, theres so many other gender nonconforming characters, including the main character!! Like I know that him dressing up in frilly dresses is played for a joke at one point, but for the most part, it’s not something he’s ashamed of. He’s a bit embarrassed to go on national tv dressed as an idol, but he also has a lot of fun doing it, even leaning more into it during the concert portion of the Evidol Games.

I also have a special place in my heart for the gnc men in the series, because I feel like that’s not something you really see all that often, except for with the generic pretty boy trope. But in M!ik we have Balam, who is undeniably a very masculine figure, but he has a lot of equally undeniably feminine traits. He’s very gentle and physically affectionate, and has a great love for small creatures and likes to make cute picture books. And on the Physical side of things, he has long hair that he wears down a lot that he carefully takes care to maintain (at least after he grows it out again).

And there’s a lot more than that, even just in the background characters that appear, but these three are the ones that came to mind first.

So I wrote a coffin rescue fic! First draft of the whole thing is nearly done actually, but it needs editing so I'll probably post chapters weekly. I actually sketched the illustration first and it kind of inspired me to give writing a try since I kept thinking about what my take on a coffin fic would be. I too wish that @moringmark would take more breaks with his comics. With the quality he makes with each comic on a daily basis, including backgrounds he has to recreate to fit with every style he has, it’s insane that he hasn’t had burnout yet. And he’s STILL coming up with new stories and arcs to give fans more from a series that unfortunately had so little. He DESERVES some time off…But I feel like people saying that he should take a break because his comics are lacking in quality are a LITTLE disingenuous.

I mean, I get what they’re trying to say, and it’s SORT OF coming from a good place. If he keeps going for a comic a day, the creativity well will run out sooner than later and he’ll reach that expected burnout quicker. The man deserves a break, but saying it because the comics will be better tells me that the priorities are a little mixed up. The man makes a comic a day, makes no money from it, and keeps going because of the praise he gets. If you tell him his work is bad, that just encourages him to work harder or brush it aside as maybe this comic wasn’t as good as others. If you really want Mark to be better, make sure you take his own health into consideration and not because you think his work is lacking.

And Mark, if you somehow found this, PLEASE take a break every once and a while. For your sake, not for others.
