Poe Dameron dating headcanons

You first met Poe when you guys were kids you weren’t very close but your guys parents were friends, both being part of the resistance, so you spent some time together.

You lived next door to each other 

His mother passed when you both were younger, he was different after that.

The older you got the less you saw of him, at 18 you joined the resistance and Poe left, you didn’t see him for a long time after that.

Few years later his showed back up as a pilot in the resistance.

That first week he was there, was the first time he talked to you in years.

“Y/N Right?” You heard somebody say from behind you.

“Yeah, why who’s asking?” You said before turning around. 

After that you both started to catch up, both being in the resistance, and being pilots, you saw a lot more of each other.

You were both close with Leia, her seeing you almost as her own child.

After you starting dating, Leia, was happy for you but also worried that it would interfere with the job you had to do, however it’s young love and she knew nothing was going to stop you two.

OKAY NOW JUST SOFT COUPLE STUFF:

You both switch with being the big spoon when cuddling but we all know that Poe is defiantly a small spoon.

When you both have time off, he’ll take you on nice dates or sometimes just staying in bed and having movie marathon(idk if that makes this a modern au anymore, does the star wars universe have movies??)

After the events of TFA, you become close friends with Finn.

ALSO BB8 loves you.

When he comes back from a mission, he’ll lay on your chest or stomach while you comb your fingers through his hair. Either talking about the harsh day or sometimes laying their in silence.

You become friends with Rose and Rey as well when you finally meet them.

I don’t whether Poe would be much or a PDA guy or not but if he was, kisses always, no matter where you were, he wanted to be touching you in some kind of way, definitely a hand holding kind of guy.

Bubble Wrap

Making your way into the main hall of the Avengers Tower searching for your husband.

“Buck?” You called out.

‘Yeah?”

“I’m going out, I promised Tasha and Sam I would go on a morning run with them, will you watch Y/S/N?” You gesture to the young boy standing beside you.

“Sure babe,” Bucky replies reaching for his son and scoops him up into his arms.

Bucky watched you leave the tower. After you were out of sight he bent down to face his son. “I guess it’s just you and me bud.”

“And Steve,” Bucky hears Steve say, turning to see Steve standing close behind him.

“And you’re favorite Uncle.”

“Hey guys, do we have any bubble wrap?” Bucky asked poking his head into Bruce and Tony’s lab.

“Yup, under the kitchen sink.”

Bruce looked up from his work to look at Tony.

“You mean you just have bubble wrap laying around in the tower?”

“Yup. You never know when you’ll need it.”

“What do you-” Bruce was cut off by Bucky slamming the lab door, and running off.

After grabbing the bubble wrap and his three-year-old son wrapping the bubble around him keeping Y/S/N arms free and taping some to the top of his head.

“This should do it since you are pretty clumsy like your uncle Steve and your mother/father but don’t tell them I said that.”

“Daddy, can you wear bubbles too?” Y/S/N asks.

“Of course bud.”

“Help me with this would ya Steve,” Bucky says tossing Steve the roll of bubble wrap.

“Sure but when Y/N said to watch your son I don’t think they meant to wrap him in bubble wrap.”

“Yes, but he’s so little. I mean look at him.” Steve looks over at Y/S/N to see him wobbling around in the bubble wrap nearly falling over.

“He can barely walk.”

“But he’s safe.” Midway through putting the bubble wrap on Bucky Y/N’s voice rang through the halls.

“Bucky! Y/S/N! I’m home!”

“Hey, bu-.” You stopped mid-sentence.

“James, why is our child covered in bubble wrap.”

“uhh…”

“Safety precautions.” Steve pipped up.

“Yeah okay.” You laugh before releasing your son from the bubble wrap.
