I feel like it doesn't get talked about enough that the nickname "Wise Girl" was actually made by Clarisse, and Percy just stole it. Like, Annabeth came up with "Seaweed Brain" on her own, and Percy nicked it from someone else. Hence why he's not a child of Athena.

Like, the characters each have their own elaborate backstories and reasons for wanting the money and the whole plot line is so well put together.
