My Friend might be Able to tell The Future

So I have seen the Good Omens brain rot. I have seen it everywhere. In fact, one could even say I have not been able to Escape it.

Which is really funny considering my friend recommended the series to me and even lent me the book like. Six years ago.

And this is not me trying to gatekeep or anything, hell I haven't gotten through the first season because I haven't had the time or attention span to sit on the couch for hours and watch it BUT.

This is not the first time they have introduced me to something that has completely blown up.

I am half certain this friend can tell the future/ is not human.

they eat like. One huge meal a day but are always down for more food no matter what time of day it is.

They're a red head so there's that on top of it.

Smart as the day is long, always says the weirdest shit that ends up coming true and find the most obscure media before it becomes popular.

thinking about ranboo’s water allergy (and why it’s possible for him to produce tears but still be burnt by them)

hospitals always use saline solution in iv bags because pure water would kill you. the reason behind this is probably the same reason why endermen can’t touch water, but to a lesser extent. 

this reason is osmosis. osmosis is the transfer of water from an area of low solute concentration to higher solute concentration. 

your cells have dissolved stuff inside them, like nutrients and waste things, so when exposed to purer water (water with less stuff dissolved in it), nature wants the concentration on both sides of the cell membrane to be as similar as possible, so purer water gets pulled into the cell. the cell has limited space, so if too much water gets in, the cell bursts and dies. 

endermen originate in the end, where there are no natural sources of solid or liquid water. however, it would be very difficult to sustain life without water (here’s why), so water probably still exists in gas form. it is much harder to stay sufficiently hydrated using H2O gas due to the distance between molecules, so their cells probably have much higher solute concentration than overworld cells do, partially due to the lack of water and partially because having higher solute concentrations would allow them to take in more water without letting it leave.

this isn’t a problem in the end dimension, where it’s probably hard enough just to get enough water, but once introduced to a source that would allow a large quantity of water to enter a cell at once (like some liquid water perhaps), the endermen’s cells would burst due to inability to hold all of it. (ice wouldn’t be a problem because water molecules in ice are stuck together and are thus unable to enter cells).

since ranboo is capable of producing tears, we almost know for certain that he has water in him (there is a small possibility that his tears are just another substance altogether), so we can assume that whatever water he does have is very saturated, and that it only becomes pure after leaving his tear ducts, which is why they hurt his face. 

and we’ve seen ranboo drink milk and use potions before (milk is made of water, but also has loads of other stuff in it), which makes sense in context of this theory because their solute concentrations are probably high enough that they wouldn’t overhydrate ranboo’s cells. 

tldr: ranboo is only hurt by liquid water when it’s pure enough because liquid water floods his cells and causes them to burst due to the principles of osmosis
