It's days like today to remind myself to get out in natures beauty, no matter the weather. Hiking season has started early for me this year. I'm on a mountain top basking in the sun and it feels unreal. Although there is other mountains far larger than the one I claimed as my temporary place of rest I can't help but to be grateful to myself for pushing myself out here when I was being stubborn and quite possibly afraid... afraid of I don't know exactly, but I will always have me and that's enough. 🖤

I made me marinate pork loin roast, asparagus and mash potatoes. By far my favorite meals I've created... then again most the things I make is pretty damn good. Haha

I ventured on a small trail by my place, it's perfect for what the weather has presented to me. Melancholy is the perfect word for these days. I spent the day thinking about the future and what can be done in the now. The rain reminds me that a new beginning is here, why am I hesitant to grasp it now? I've spent hours pondering, and days planning and yet it's still mocks me of what hasn't happened. One day... one day

Today called for something light but packed with so much flavor. I made an apple avocado chicken salad. Hands down my favorite salad I've made these last few years. Obsessed is a understatement haha. 🖤🤤

Another beautiful day as it passes by with a glance, prefect day to go on a hike... first a bite. 🤤 another one for the books. My sister and I feast before the day is behind us. Delicious is nearly not enough to describe what a meal indeed this was.
