What is Lovers Bingo?
Lovers Bingo is a bingo multifandom event that will refresh its themes every month. Sign-up opens for a whole month before being closed. Lovers Bingo will delve further into the question, the problem, the complexity of love from a philosophical point of view or random burst of ideas.
Lovers Bingo is inspired by a thought (not-unique at all) that crossed the Mod’s mind: “Loving someone means accepting the pain that comes with it” and “Loving someone doesn't erase someone’s individuality”.
Therefore, the bingo is just the mod allowing herself to think about love.
Each month, the bingo’s theme will change. For the first project the theme is: “The Good, The Bad, and The In-Between”.

“The Good, The Bad, and The In-between” Bingo;
1. The Bingo will be only in 3 x 3 Size
2. The Bingo will include three points: The Problem, The Reeling, and The Solution.
— The Problem — The arising of conflict relating to love.
— The Reeling — The conflict the character has towards a certain scenario of love.
— The Solution — The solution that the character has regarding the problem the character is facing.
3. All themes/prompts will only consist of max 3 words to avoid limitation of the creator’s freedom when inspired by the prompts.
4. All themes/prompts are allowed to be taken very loosely as long as the essence is there. So, please feel free to interpret it however you want.
5. The bingo sign-up is open from the 16th February to the 16th March, 2024.

RULES & REQUIREMENTS
PLEASE NOTE:
- Your creation doesn't have to end up like the prompts. For example, even if you choose an open-ended solution, you could still stir it to a firm solution. It's just that the creation must have the section where the character thinks about an open-ended solution.
- THE STORY FROM START TO FINISH ARE YOURS. The prompts are simply to inspire.
- Example:
• The Conflict: Heavy Argument
• The Reeling: Survivor's Guilt
• The Solution: Breaking up
But you can stir the direction to however you want. The character could still end up staying together, but there will be a time when "breaking up" is the solution in the character's mind.
1. Be respectful towards each other. If there's a warning that needs to be tagged, please do tag appropriately. Keep yourself and others safe.
2. There's no due date for the bingo filling. But there's a due date for the signing up date.
3. There's no limitation to what you're allowed to create. You do not have to post your creation to a website. For example, if you're roleplaying with someone and are inspired by the bingo, please feel free to use it.
4. Art, fanfic, mood boards, playlists, and edited videos are allowed too.
5. There's no minimum and maximum for how many words for written works.
6. Please if you choose “Tumblr Submission”, open your submission box. The mod will not make the card if your submission box is closed.
7. Please if you choose “Discord DM”, open your DM. The mod will not make the card if your DM is closed.

Deter Week 2024: Themes Announcement!
Hi everyone! With 2023 coming to a close, here are the prompts for the upcoming Deter Week 2024 event (March 11th - 17th)!
Continuing the tradition (mostly!) there will be two prompts per day. However, to shake things up a bit, there will be a text prompt and a song/lyric prompt! You can use both, one, or neither for your creations. The theme itself is in bold, and what follows are just examples of what could be created to help inspire you, but it is in no way an exhaustive list of what you can create. You can also do one day, several days, or all days (go you!) - there's no participation requirement, and no sign up for this event. The goal is just to have more Deter works of all kinds for all of us to enjoy!
There are no content restrictions - with the exception that AI generated works are not permitted - so long as you tag appropriately! Dark fic, fluff, platonic takes, romantic and/or sexual takes, all of it is welcome! Absolutely any type of fanwork is welcome! This includes, but is not limited to: art, fic (including remixes), moodboards, playlists, podfics, bookbinds, and more. There is no specific day for Deter with someone else, but it is also welcome!

Valentine's Bingo🌹
Love comes and shows itself in different ways, this month Seasonal Delights Bingo will be hosting 'Types of Love Bingo' centering around different types of relationships and different types of love languages.
There are many ways that a person shows their love, even more ways that one is capable of loving another- however I decided to include five different types for this bingo. (Two different kinds of relationship, three different types of love.)
RELATIONSHIPS
monogamy - a relationship with only one partner at a time.
polygamy - having more than one sexual or romantic partner (most of the prompts for this category were written for 'polyfidelity' which refers to a group of three or more people who have a committed relationship with one another.)
TYPES OF LOVE
storge - familial love
philautia - self-love
philia - love without romantic attraction
At first, I had wanted to only include 'types of love' but considering that this is an event open to everyone it would have been hard to include 'eros' and I was not exactly sure how to include 'agape' either- we might do one that focuses on both relationships and types of love in the future but we shall see.
This time we have two different themes (dark & light) and two different sizes (mini 3x3 & maxi 5x5).
Every participant is allowed to request two cards in total.
The tags that we ask that you use for us to be able to re-blog your posts are; #seasonaldelightsbingo, #typesoflovebingo (don't forget to tag @seasonaldelightsbingo too!)
You can start posting whenever you would like to do so, there are no time limits to when you complete your card- but you won't be able to sign up for a card after February 28, 2024.

Calling all Shadowhunters creators--it's time to dust off your notebooks, sketchbooks, laptops, drawing tablets, and other creative instruments.
Welcome to By the Angel Bingo!
What is By the Angel Bingo? By the Angel Bingo is a Shadowhunters-themed event where you request a grid of prompts in the layout of a bingo board. The goal is to fill the prompts until you get a traditional bingo (filling 3 or 5 in a row, column, or diagonally) or until you blackout your entire board!
Do I have to be a part of the Malec Discord Server to sign up? No, being a part of the Malec Discord Server Community is not required to be a part of this event, but it is highly encouraged if you’re looking for friends to bounce ideas off of, if you need help finding a beta reader, or if you’re just looking for Shadow Fam to hang out with.
What is the schedule?
Sign-ups open: February 1st
Sign-ups close: February 29th
Last day to request prompt changes: March 31st
Masterpost due by: September 30th

How will it work? On Thursday, February 1st, sign-ups will open for a bingo card. In your sign-up, you will be asked a few questions including what size bingo card you’d like (3x3 or 5x5). You will then receive a bingo card from one of the Mods to your preferred method of contact within 3-5 days. Sign-ups will remain open until Thursday, February 29th. From there, you’ll have until Monday, September 30, to complete what you can on your bingo card!
What if I don’t like my prompts? You may request 3 (for 3x3 cards) or 5 (for 5x5 cards) replacement prompts at one time. If you need more than 3-5 prompts replaced, you will be sent an entirely new card. This can only happen once. If you receive a new card, you can request 3-5 replacement prompts again for the last time. You can request changes to your board until March 31st, a month after sign-ups close.
Can I sign up if I’m under 18? Yes! Anyone is able to receive a bingo card, but you must be over the age of 18 to request NSFW prompts or submit NSFW fills. You also must be over the age of 16 to join the Malec Server.
Are there any content restrictions? This bingo is open to all creations; fic, art, gifs, videos, moodboards, playlists, cosplay, physical art, etc. All bingo fills must be Shadowhunters-related. Any ships/characters/ratings are permitted as long as they are properly tagged. RPF is not allowed for this event.
Am I required to get a bingo or blackout my card? Not at all! You can fill as little or as many prompts as you have the time/energy to complete. This is low to no stress. Low risk, high reward. HAVE FUN.
Can I combine prompts? Each prompt needs to be its own fill, but you can post a multi-chapter fic or art series with one prompt per chapter/piece.
What if I black out my entire card before the final posting date? Congrats! You did it! You can either be done OR ask for a second bingo card.

Digital/physical art: 1 piece
Photomanipulation: 1 piece
Gifsets: 2 gifs
Moodboards: 4 images
Video: 30 seconds
Playlists: 10 songs
Podfic: 500 words (with author’s permission)
Rules:
You must be over 18 to request NSFW prompts and submit NSFW fills. You have to be over 16 to join the Malec Server.
Any Shadowhunters-related ships/characters/ratings are permitted as long as they are tagged appropriately.
You may create works based off of the show, books, or movies, but no RPF is allowed.
You may request a 3x3 card (8 prompts) or a 5x5 card (24 prompts).
You may request 3 (for 3x3) or 5 (for 5x5) replacement prompts at one time.
If you need more than 3-5 prompts replaced, you will be sent an entirely new card.
This can only happen once. If you receive a new card, you can request 3-5 replacement prompts again for the last time.
You can request changes to your board until March 31st, a month after sign-ups close.
Each card has one “FREE SPACE” to be used as a wildcard where you can submit any creation that follows the rules of the event.
Each prompt needs to be its own completed fill, but you can post a multi-chapter fic or art series with one prompt per chapter/piece.
Each fill must be NEW during the bingo posting period. No past creations may be used as a fill.
Fills can be combined with other events (i.e. Femslash February, Any Fandom Bingo, Trope-specific bingos, etc.) only if the other event allows it and you meet the minimum requirements for both events.
Prompts can be interpreted as literally or figuratively as you like (I.e. A/B/O meaning a frat house, or falling to your knees in the sense of lust, despair, clumsiness, etc.) If you think it fits, it probably fits.
All bingo fills must be added to the AO3 collection. If posted on Tumblr/Twitter, the Malec Discord Server must be tagged (@malecdiscordserver/@MalecServer).
If you are participating in this bingo, you are not allowed to shame any ships/kinks/characters/content of any kind created by other participants. Failure to follow this rule may lead to a lifetime ban of Malec Discord Server-run events. We’re in this for a good time, not a dramatic time.

SEASONAL DELIGHTS BINGO - SPRING EDITION 💐
For this year's spring season, we have decided to go with the theme 'language of flowers'.

TYPES OF PROMPTS
flower prompts - almost each and every flower has a different meaning hidden behind it, or they symbolize different things and so for these kind of prompts, you get both a color and a flower as a prompt in one square and their meaning along with it.
(for example; red roses, blue tulips, white lilies... if you ask us to do so, we will also send a small list of meaning for each flower that is on your card)
spring prompts - spring themed prompts
general prompts - the prompts which were used for 'winter wonderland' bingo along with a couple of other extra's that were added through out the season of winter.
general prompts are also divided into four smaller sections;
- romantic & fluffy prompts,
- angsty & whumpy & 'scary' prompts,
- cinematic & video game & literary prompts,
- dialogue & lyric & quote prompts.

[ TO THE RECEIVER ]: " hey, are you okay? "
[ TO THE RECEIVER ]: " don't worry. i'll take care of this. "
[ TO THE RECEIVER ]: " why don't you go on out back? i got this, it's okay. "
[ TO THE RECEIVER ]: " here. you go on into the car, alright? i'm right behind you. "
[ TO THE RECEIVER ]: " is this person bothering you? "
[ TO THE RECEIVER ]: " it's okay. hey, hey… look at me. they're gone. "
[ TO THE RECEIVER ]: " hey… what's going on? what's wrong? i… has this person said something to you? "
[ TO THE RECEIVER ]: " it's alright. the others just went out to the car; why don't you join them? i'll handle this. "
[ TO THE RECEIVER ]: " hey, hey… talk to me, huh? what's the matter? you look like you've seen a ghost… who was that? "
[ TO THE RECEIVER ]: " don't be scared. i'm going to take care of this. i promise. "
[ TO THE RECEIVER ]: " you don't need to say anything. just nod if you want me to kick them out, okay? "
[ TO THE RECEIVER ]: " you're alright. i'm right here, don't worry. and they'll be gone before you can blink, that's another promise. "
ACTIONS:
[ HAND ]: sender, having seen the receiver's encounter with the threat, gently takes the receiver's hand to assure them they aren't alone.
[ INTERVENE ]: sender wordlessly steps in between the receiver and the threat, facing the threat while shielding the receiver from them.
[ BLOCK ]: sender steps in between the receiver and the threat, this time facing the receiver while turning their back to the threat and blocking them from the receiver's line of sight.
[ BACK ]: sender places a protective and gentle hand on the receiver's back, preparing to guide them away from the threat.
[ DOOR ]: sender firmly but politely insists that the threat leave the building, and escorts them out of the door.
[ EXIT ]: sender physically catches hold of the threat and drags them away from the receiver, and outside of the building.
[ PUSH ]: sender places a careful hand on the threat to keep them at arm's length, and steps forward again to give the receiver more space between them and the threat.
[ SHOVE ]: sender runs over and forcefully shoves the threat back and away from the receiver.
[ SPACE ]: sender pushes between the receiver and the threat and begins to move forward, invading the threat's personal space as both a means of intimidation and a way of getting them away from the receiver.
[ DIVERT ]: sender arrives behind the threat and gains their attention, distracting them from the receiver so as to give them time to leave the area.
[ CLEAR ]: the sender firmly and clearly tells the threat that they are no longer allowed in the premises nor anywhere near the receiver.
[ ARM ]: sender wraps a protective arm around the receiver and guides them away from the threat and out of the premises.
[ PUNCH ]: the sender, having seen the receiver's reaction to the threat and the threat's lack of consideration, moves forward and punches the threat in the face.
