The Shawnee Spotlight of the Month shines brightly upon Martavious Jones Jr. I've had issues of behavior with this member in the past, but after a break from regular club attendance, he has returned with a new attitude and respect for staff. He has voiced his interest in wanting a job within the organization, and for the time being, has become a star member of our Junior Staff program, even outperforming some of the Mayor's Summer Works employees. He has also given me reasons to trust in his abilities to assist as a program aide and in program development. Here's to hoping for his personal progression towards becoming a future Youth of the Year participant.
