The shadow took a bit of a double take at the other for a moment. They didn’t look particularly old, but they did seem ready to fight, and Krobus realized he may have to pick and choose his words carefully.

They hoped that didn’t sound to suspicious. Krobus meant what they said. they really weren’t planning on fighting someone today.

Hi, out of curiosity, do shadow brutes show gender differences, also, do dwarves?

“ Save for some slight deviations like mine, we’re pretty much all  genetically identical. We do have gender in our culture though, but it’s all of our own volition or decision, like my identification as male, it’s just what I feel comfortable with. We have other genders than just male and female of course, it’s all up to what the individual wants to indentify as.

I have no idea about dwarves though, you’d have to ask them, because I doubt they would really appreciate me asking. “

I wanted to draw out my design idea for Human Krobus, so here he is.

As a human, I’d image his aversion to other people would come more from his timidness (Mostly because, well, he’s not the most intimidating person out there with no arms and an adult height of 4“5). Instead of sewers, he would probably sell from a dark alley or something, since he’s still not to fond of light.

Those eyes and teeth are both fake, btw, they’re contacts (His real eye color is an emeraldy green) and the teeth are prosthetics, probably in a (failed) attempt at looking a little bit more intimidating.

That anime curl is all natural though.

The little shadow brute was slinking around the darkness of the evening, They usually made their way around the outside world at times no normal person would be awake, but this time, they were up and about when only the few night owls were awake. ...Then again, Krobus noticed a few more creatures still stirring than usual, a human...? A large one at that, strange, though he’ s seen far stranger before, this person seemed to pique his interest quite a bit.

“ Hm, Strange, I haven’t seen anyone like this in the valley before... ”

The miniscule monster was whispering to themselves, a wispy low tone not unlike the rest of his shadowy kin, Making sure none besides themselves could hear their musings, But Perhaps not quiet enough.

Oh? Oh! It seems the stranger had noticed Krobus too. They quickly ducked into nearby foliage, leaves rustling after them. They hoped the shadowy lighting was enough to shield them from view.

           A noise of surprise left the fusion. Stevonnie glanced around. They could have sworn they saw something in the corner of their eyes. But a quick look turned up nothing. They hummed under their breath before continuing in their walk.

How long do shadow people live? I'm just curious.

I wanted to show Krobus’s compared to a regular shadow brute and also draw his mom to, so I killed two birds with one stone. So here she is, Luvmor, which in shadow people language means “Mothers love”, who used to be quite the dangerous shadow brute before she retired from fighting and raised Krobus.

As for how this blogs canon is, I imagine that as far as parenting goes, its a lot different from how people do it. Two parents don’t make a shadow child, shadow people are more born from unnatural means, meaning they don’t have a biological family. More so, there are shadow people who “adopt” shadow kids, they are usually retired fighters like Luvmor, and the usual family structure is one parent, one child, but any (adult) shadow person can have as many partners as they want and as many children as they want, provided all parties are ok with it and they are capable of taking care of all the shadow kids.

Krobus, while born without arms, is also much smaller than the average shadow brute, but that doesn’t mean they can’t hold their own against a human or dwarf pretty well, not that they often need to.
