Space!Ifrit is always a classic. Out of all of them, this Ifrit is probably the one that most snugly fits into the "cinnamon roll" category (rather than the "sinnamon roll" one or something) and is also the one whose personality is closest to that of the canon Yukimura. Unfortunately, being a sweet cinnamon roll hasn't stopped that accursed force in the multiverse that strives to make Ifrit lonely...

A modest prodigy in the Galactic Federation's military academy on Daiban, most of his graduating class was horrifically massacred by Space Pirates on their graduating day. Ifrit himself was stabbed in the torso by one particularly traitorous mole of a classmate, Fuma Kotaro, and then thrown bodily off of a tall cliff. Through some miracle of luck (and sheer durability), he managed to survive to reunite with his remaining classmates, one of whom was Sarutobi Sasuke.

Unfortunately, Ifrit not being dead didn't satisfy Fuma, and he returned to frame Ifrit of a dire crime, forcing him to be smuggled off of Daiban by a group of well-meaning bounty hunters – "Swordmaster" Alastor, "Dark Slayer" Yamato, and "Royalguard" Beowulf. They struggled together against hostile powers' interests in Ifrit as Ifrit's parents were killed, as Ifrit himself was kidnapped by Oda Nobunaga and experimented upon, and the later discovery of Sasuke becoming an actual, shadowy criminal in order to bypass the red tape that prevented him from helping Ifrit.

So much has happened to Space!Ifrit; the above is really just a summary of the very beginning of the saga. Here's to hoping that after all the right justice is served things get better for him!
