I think the thing that makes Eobard Thawne stand out so much as a villain is that he just spends all day, every day, hating the Flash. He has no grand master plan, no evil ideology, no end goal of any kind. He’s just this empty, rotting pit of hatred and there’s nothing else in there. He has no friends. He has no life. Even Lex Luthor has a job. Thawne has nothing but hating the Flash. He has nearly infinite godlike power and uses it specifically and solely to attack, dismantle, endanger, humiliate, and make miserable every second of every day of the Flash’s life from birth to death. He’ll kill his mother, he’ll push him down the stairs, he’ll alienate his friends, he’ll ruin his baseball game, he’ll stalk him, he’ll bully him as a child, he’ll harrass him as an adult, he’ll write him a weird text, he’ll kidnap his girlfriend, he’ll hold him up in traffic, he’ll shuffle his timeline like playing cards until he finds the perfect sequence of events to make the Flash’s life as miserable as possible, as early as possible, in every way possible, and as consistently as possible. This is the only thing he does and he has absolutely nothing else in his life. He is literally a hater, and his only motivation is to be a hater, and if he hadn’t picked the Flash to be a hater about he would be a hater about someone else. Incredible. Literally no one else is doing it like him and thank God.

Sylvia Jackson says she had recurring nightmares after the death of her friend, George Floyd.

“He’d come to me and say, ‘Hey I’m OK,’ or ‘You ain’t got to worry,’ and then I’d wake up and he’s not there,” Jackson recalled. 

As the trials of the Minneapolis police officers accused of killing Floyd moved forward, Jackson says it was often too hard to watch, but she remained a silent party to the judicial process.

Floyd borrowed Jackson’s car on May 25, 2020 and was sitting in her blue 2001 Mercedes SUV the moment officers first approached him at 38th Street and Chicago Avenue.

Now, nearly four years after Floyd’s murder, Jackson is still waiting for investigators to return her vehicle.

“All I can do is just hold on,” Jackson said.

Something something in the wrong jedi arc Ahsoka’s whole training was geared to the front lines and that’s what makes her look guilty. When she’s arrested what keeps making her situation worse is that she escapes and keeps running but that’s literally what Anakin trained her to do. If she’d been caught behind enemy lines she’d have been trying to escape, so that’s what she does, but she’s not behind enemy lines, this is coruscant. When the keycard is slipped into her cell she immediately assumes it’s Anakin’s rescue plan. In crisis she relies on training and experience that’s completely unsuited to navigating a legal system of a republic planet, but everyone expects her to act like a citizen and not an active combatant but that’s all she really knows, so she looks guilty but she doesn’t even really understand why it makes her look guilty. She’s a padawan coming of age in war and it’s left her unprepared to be a jedi within the republic
