Mama’s house…the best soul food around. A kind friend brought a honey baked ham and when our immediate family got together mom had made a feast from it with other southern comfort foods. Went out with my brother for St. Patrick’s Day. Though I don’t celebrate the chasing out of “snakes” from Ireland (one cultural ideology and practices taking over another)…I love green and the beauty & growth it represents as the energy and tone of the heart Chakra. My humbled breaking heart has been blessed by being with blood family, soul family, and supportive friends these past several days as we processed the transition of my plus father from being embodied to returning home to God/Source.
