# How to Reverse Heart Disease with a Low-Carb, High-Fat Diet

- **Dave**, a 49-year-old engineer who had angina, a condition that causes chest pain due to reduced blood flow to the heart. He was taking statins and nitroglycerin to relieve his symptoms. He adopted the LCHF diet and eliminated his angina, stopped taking his medications, and increased his energy levels.
- **Mary**, a 45-year-old mother of three who had familial hypercholesterolemia, a genetic disorder that causes very high cholesterol levels. She was taking statins since she was 18 and was worried about her future health. She followed the LCHF diet and lowered her cholesterol levels, improved her mood, and regained her confidence.
The film follows their journeys as they learn about the science behind the LCHF diet, how it affects their heart health, and how it changes their lives. The film also features interviews with experts such as Dr. Aseem Malhotra, Dr. David Diamond, Dr. Jeff Gerber, Dr. David Unwin, Dr. Zoe Harcombe, Dr. Paul Mason, Dr. Jason Fung, Dr. Tim Noakes, and others who explain the benefits of the LCHF diet for weight loss and disease prevention.

you said you've been maingaining (maintaining weight via fat loss while building muscle), i recommend investing in a nice tape measure so that you can get a confirmation about how much you're shrinking. definitely helps me
I agree it's definitely something I need! I did take measurements in a round about kind of way though, I used string that I cut to my measurements and labelled. I did that with the idea that I would do a second set of strings at the start of October to compare, but I will definitely be interested in knowing the actual numbers!
