I wrote a poem last night but there are parts of it that are so familiar i genuinely think i couldnt have come up with it lol. The thing is ive had dreams of myself writing something only to wake up forgetting, to remember it later and write it down with the weirdest sense of deja vu. I think i saw the lines "thought you could fly but you were put together wrong" on tik tok but idk.... ive been looking for it

Leo Di Caprio for sure gives women yeast infections. Maybe not STI's because dirty people can still tell when they're sick but i guarantee he doesnt wash himself properly.

So real
the problem with reading and writing leading to a strong vocabulary is that you tend to know the vibe of words instead of their meanings.
if I used this word in a sentence, would it make sense? absolutely. if you asked me what it meant, could I tell you? absolutely not.

One of my fav things about the pjo show is the fact that percy is perpetually wet.
Like its so funny that this guy is squelching his way through the arch. This kid is gonna catch a cold

I have read a lot of scifi romances and something i wanna see happen so bad is for a female lead to beat the snot out of the male lead. Cuz theres the trope of small dainty woman and big alpha male who is aggressive but protects her and like great fine whatever but just once can the female lead be like "stop being patronizing i did fucking jujitsu. Actually, lets go right now. Lets spar" and she beats him. Like come on i need something different. Its so monotonous

Important update: robert Pattinsons Batman is also an awesome iteration. I like how angsty teen he is and the riddler is actually the riddler, doing riddles and shit. Its great
it’s no nuance november so here’s my hot take:
lego batman is the only good adaptation of Batman. every other batman movie and comic and show and book sucks. Lego Batman is superior

Another recommendation for my Ruby Dixon and Ursa Dax fans out there.
Meet Michelle Mills! Her series Monsters Love Curvy Girls is soooooo good. Like every romance series, there are a few ones that i didnt enjoy (you'll see in my rating section) but there really is something for everyone. Each book has a few different tropes that many people would enjoy. (Forbidden love, single father,
The world is extremely warm and inhabited by enormous redskinned aliens with large arching black horns that look like Satan himself seems like a place humans might not want to go but through their own misadventures each woman in each book finds themselves on the planet confronted with a vision of their worst nightmares. Except, none of them expect their worst nightmare to be attractive and they especially dont expect to be attracted to them. Each woman is extremely individual and each story has its own male lead who will absolutely capture your heart as well as the female leads.
My main thought after finishing each book was "where and when can i get next one." I loved some of them liked most of them and disliked only a few. If you are looking for something steamy yet toothachingly sweet these are the books for you.
Each book was easy to read, the writing style carries the book just as much as the characters do.
There are a few issues i have personally with a few of the books, some nonconcentual impregnation (its not SA but its so hard to explain) and a seriously weird age gap relationship. It made me really uncomfortable. I actually had to DNF it soooo.....
Michelle Mills' 'Monsters Love Curvy Girls' begins with His Human Nanny ⭐️2.7, followed by His Human Surrogate⭐️1.8, His Human Assistant⭐️3, His Human Organizer⭐️3, His Human Ward⭐️1(im not the biggest fan of age gap relationship even when done well and i dont think this was done super well), His Human Stalker (which is not as creepy as it sounds)⭐️3.5. There is another book in the series but i couldn't find it so i cant speak for its merit but its called His Human Socialite if you want to read it
If youve read all of this, congrats, you're just as big a nerd as I am.
if you like ice planet barbarians might i suggest Ursa Dax. she writes a series about a group of women abducted by their governments and put on a planet to test how habitable it is. turns out, not. most of the soldiers sent with the women die almost immediately and all the women are kidnapped and brought to a tribe except one. each of the women have different skills and reasons why they were brought on this mission. there are currently nine books in the series and it has similar writing to Ruby Dixon. i would say a little less cringy (less flower allusions) but both good.

Im pooping my pants. I just did the math (but i am bad at it so i may be a bit off) and i have read 132 romance novels this year. I cannot fucking believe. Ive been recording them and keeping track of my thoughts in a little journal but i kind of want to keep going to see if i can.
My goal was 100 but im gonna go for 150!!
Give me some recommendations please!
The rules for recs:
1. It must be a romance novel
2. It can be in a series in fact id prefer it
3. It can be any subgenre of romance (scifi, dark , mafia, comtemp, historical) ill read it all

have i already talked about how much i hated the bridgerton series??? everyone sucks and is toxic? no one is a good person? except hyacinth and greggory. the women lose their personalities as soon as they get married. there is so much abuse and it’s so casual,,, there’s sexual assault and emotional abuse and most of these relationships are literally so horrible. what sucks most is that the books always start off good. i get hooked because the premise is good and i’m excited and then halfway through the book every main character as a major personality change and i’m left sitting there like “what just happened?” and i’m praying it gets better and it never does.

As much as i love Ruby Dixon, she really missed the mark with her Fire-whatever series. the one with the dragons. it romanticizes assault a whole lot? like what?
