Travel back in time 410 years ago to #feudalJapan - The Siege of #OsakaCastle - shown in #Shogun (1980) and #ShogunFX 2024.

#ToyotomiHideyoshi, a powerful warlord who unified #Japan in the late 16th century, built the castle and used it to keep daimyos and their families as hostages to keep his power.

The first-generation Osaka Castle was attacked by #TokugawaIeyasu and engulfed in flames in 1615 and rebuilt it when the power shifted to the Tokugawa clan.

The Osaka Castle is now a museum.

I had my last dose of tetanus shot on day 180 or 22 April 2024, after previously receiving 4 doses of anti-rabies vaccine over 1 month period (given on days 0, 3, 7 and 30) and 2 doses of tetanus shots (given on days 0 and 30) after being scratched by one of these stray kittens on 20 October 2023.
