Some Big News 🎉

Hey everyone! So, I haven’t been very active on here as of late despite my posting fic, but it’s for a good reason.... 

I’ve been professionally published!!! 

So, to celebrate, I’m leaving you guys a link to check out the book here, THE EBOOK IS ONLY $2 RN SO CHECK IT OUT. 

I have been much more active on my other tumblr @rhiannonleewriting​! There, I post about my original works and will be hosting a giveaway soon!!! So, if you’d like to be a part of that, go follow me there!

I have also launched a Patreon and relaunched my Ko-Fi, so please check me out there! The lowest Patreon tier is only $2, and the highest is only $15 and comes with a book!!! 

Lastly, I don’t know, honestly, how much I’ll be on this Tumblr in the future. I’ll still be writing fic, because of how many WIPs I have, but maintaining my other Tumblr already takes a lot out of me, honestly, and this one has definitely fallen to the wayside. I don’t mean to say I’ll leave you guys or this fandom, because I don’t think I ever will, but I may just leave this page dormant for a while... I’ve been working hard over the passed year to build up my online presence for my writing career, so this blog is likely just going to sit here while I do that. 

Thank you everyone for your support of my fics! I couldn’t really explain how much I appreciate it, because it’s one of those deep-seeded things that just fill you up entirely and is super overwhelming, ya know? It’s incredibly touching to think that my writing has touched so many people, and I hope I can do more in the future... Thank y’all for reading this post (and hopefully checking out some of my links)!

As all lovers of fiction know, a good book can transport you to other lands. And speaking of literary travels, here’s #ErnestHemingway’s 1923 passport photo.

Nothing warms our hearts more than seeing young people having fun in libraries! Here’s a 1940’s photo of children checking out books from the Benjamin Franklin Library.

To all the Edgar Allan Poe fans, this one’s for you! Here’s a look at Poe’s enlistment documents.

Poe joined the Army at the age of 18 in Boston. This enlistment paper shows that he used a false name, Edgar Perry, and a false age, adding four years to his real age. The paper also described him as being 5 feet 8 inches tall, with brown hair, gray eyes, and a fair complexion.
