It had happened one fateful night. It was in the middle of winter, with heavy cold winds that'll tear through any fur or feathers. Those cold winds also brought along freezing cold snow. The type of snow that stuck to your skin, that made your skin turn wet, and in turn made your skin turn to ice. It was the type of night that only bad things could happen in. Death, sickness, starvation, you name it. But, something good actually happened on this sort of night. Something really good.
A certain grey and white aerial was making his final rounds for the night. He wanted to make sure no one would dare sneak up on him while his guard was down in this cold wintery night. But...he...he was also taking one more look around for his master. His owner. He had to be here. He had to be around here somewhere. He has to... But then where is he?!?
Acheron was making his way back to his cave to dry off from the snow, and to get warm with the furs he had stripped off from a hungry bear that he caught earlier. His master wasn't the best master, but there's one thing he appreciated when it came to his master. And it was that he taught him well. He taught him how to hunt any type of prey no matter the size, weather, or number. And, how to fight. Two vital things he needs in order to survive.
In any case, as he was making his way back he caught something on the edge of his vision. Wait... What? That's not normal. It appeared to be a light blue and green color. That's not any normal prey. Maybe a kukuri? But why would another kukuri be out in this sort of weather? Especially a tiny baby, judging by the size. Maybe it got lost from it's loaf? Maybe it was abandoned?
The first thoughts that came to mind was that he should just let it go. Surely it's loaf would come back for it. And he does not want to encounter some angry kukuris and it's parents.
But then...why would they just leave it in the middle of this snowy weather? A baby kukuri could easily die from this weather... Hm... Well, he suppose he could take a look...
Though he knows he's going to regret this big time.
Acheron swooped down to the snow rather gracefully. He kept his distance from the light blue and green figure in the snow. He can never be too careful. Maybe this is ambush. A trap. Maybe some humans wanted to use a baby kukuri to lure out some other kukuris and then trap them. Oh, this was such a bad idea. Such a horrible idea...
Wait...
That's not a kukuri. Not even a baby...
That's a centaur! A baby centaur!
Well, he wasn't expecting that, that's for sure. Centaurs are so rare around these parts. Even in the parts that they normally live in they're starting to go extinct thanks to humans and other massive predators snatching them up as prey or pets. They're becoming more and more rare as the days go by.
So why...is there a random baby in this forest?
Wait... Wait a moment... Are those chains?!
Acheron gasped and he stepped through the snow, his massive paws stomping and crunching in the harsh snow. And that's when he got a good look at this centaur. He was definitely a baby, probably only a few years old. He had a pale blue lower body with a tiny tiny messy cut tail that had green furs throughout. Throughout his body was green patches that had stitches sewn onto his body. Including his face. His blue and green hair was very messy and unkept. And... Yeah, he had chains around his neck, ankles, and wrists. His small body was littered with bruises, wounds, and whip marks. And... There was something on his chest. A marking... Acheron looked closer only to gasp at seeing...a certain symbol. It was of a circus tent. And on the bottom of that was a series of numbers. He knows that circus tent logo.
For a long time now there has been a circus that his master would warn him about whenever he went out hunting by himself. It was a circus that loves to kidnap and steal other kukuris and creatures to use for their shows. Whoever they stole...never would show up again. The circus was ruthless in their trainings for these shows. Day in and day out they would whip the creatures to force them to jump through hoops, or to run around with a ball on their backs and snouts. They would never rest...until they fall and can't get back up. Only then would they be shoved into a cage and be forced to get up within a few hours time. Rarely did they ever ate, or get treatment for their injuries. So this baby...was from that circus.
How did he escaped with these chains on him? How did he escaped at all?! He's never heard of anyone escaping that place.
But that's not important, what is important is that he has to warm up this centaur. His skin is freezing cold and his lips were blue. He has to get him warm and fast.
The aerial used his claws to gently scoop the unconscious baby into his paws. Then he flapped his wings and took off.
It took a total of two days for the centaur child to wake up. Acheron was beginning to think that the child would never wake up. The aerial was walking into the cave two nights later to find...the child was sitting up and staring at him with terrified silver eyes.
"oh, you're awake. Good. I thought you may have entered a coma state." Acheron simply stated as he begin to tear apart the fox he managed to snatch.
And when the child still didn't say anything he slowly looked up with the fox's head in his mouth. Only to see the child silently crying from fear. He was trembling so much that his teeth was chattering. And he was gripping the bear fur so tightly in his hands that his fists were white.
"I'm not going to hurt you. If I had that intention I would've done that already while you were asleep." Acheron pointed to the child's chest, "I see that you ran away from the circus." The child whimpered. "But don't worry, I'm not going to take you back. I'm not sure what I'll do with you. But I will never take you back there."
"N... N... N-Never...ever?"
Oh! The child can talk! That's good! And he can understand him! Even better!
"yes, never ever." Acheron slowly wrapped his paw around a cup that he managed to grab from a nearby village. He also grabbed a few human supplies there too, just in case. He used his wing to dump a bit of the steaming water that was in a bowl over a fire into the cup, and then he carefully handed the cup over to the child.
"sip that to keep you warm. I'll get started on some stew for us."
"t-Thank you... but why...W-Why... Why...are you...helping me?"
"Your welcome. hm? Why?" Acheron paused, why was he helping this child? He could've easily abandoned this child and nothing would've come from it. His master would be unpleased with him that he had taken this child too. He would've insisted that he should leave this child to die in the snow. So why...why did he wanted to help?
"cause you are an innocent being. You pose no threat to me. I can tell you've been through hard times. I recently escaped from a hunter. I know how hard it is. No one deserves that life, and certainly not a child. I suppose you remind me of myself. Does that answer your question?"
He didn't hear anything else coming from the child, and he thought that was it. Their conversation was over. Oh well, that was short lasted.
But then his body froze as he felt something on his ankle. Something wrapping around his ankle and putting pressure there. He looked down to see...the small child hugging his ankle. He had scooted over, which probably hurt cause of his injuries, just so he could hug him.
"I'm... I'm sorry you got hurt... Are you okay now?"
The child sounded so heartbroken and sad, so worried and concerned. But why? They only just met. Maybe he felt obligated to be sad since he saved him? Who knows. But it was weird. He has never been shown this sort of affection before. No one has shown this much emotion for him before. No one has been worried for him like this before. What...
Acheron awkwardly bent down and he scooped up the child in his wings. Slowly he hobbled over to the furs and set him back down amongst the warmth. "Please don't move around. You need to rest." He simply said. Then he turned back around to head back continue cooking.
"and I'm alright now. Thanks for asking. What's your name?"
"M-My...name? Oh... I don't have one... What's yours?"
"you don't have a name? Well, we can't have that. My name is Acheron. Pleasure to meet you."
Acheron turned around with a cup of meat in his paws and he set it down before the child. He also grabbed a fork so he could eat it properly. Then he sat down and stared at the child.
"Stitches. Cause you have stitches on your body. That can be your name."
"stitches..." The child whispered in awe. He looked down at his body, to the stitches that covered his leg and back. Then he grinned up to the aerial and nods. "I like it!"
"then stitches it is. It's a pleasure to meet you, stitches."
"it's a pleasure to meet you too, Acheron! Thank you for saving me! And the bandages, and the food! Thank you!"
Stitches, despite being told not to move around, stood right back up again and hobbled over to the aerial. Then he suddenly hugged Acherons chest and gave a squeeze. "Thank you."
"your welcome. Now, get back to bed. Do I need to say it for the third time?"
"no, sir!"

Everything Will Be Okay...Eventually (Pt4)
Summary: Lately, Tubbos has been having these strange nightmares about this 8 foot tall black and white creature. And he isn't sure why. The past week every night without fail he wakes up in a cold sweat and panting. At first, he thought maybe he's been stressed out as of late. Maybe he needs to take some time for himself... Except he finds out it wasn't some normal nightmares.
One night, this creature visits him. And well...it all goes downhill from there.

"Ex... Experiment? What... What do you mean? Is... Is... Is that why...you look like that?" Tubbo couldn't understand what he was hearing. Experiment... That would explain why this creature looked like well...a horror creature.
"R... R... Rai...sed... In... Lab... Ex... Experi...ment... Others... Others..."
"There are others like you?" Tubbo asked, "In lab... So you...must've escaped... Why did you come here? Why have you been in my dreams and hallucinations?"
"Others...l...like...me..." The creature confirmed, "Had... Had...no where...else...to go... This... This...house....s...seemed...safe..." The creature glanced at the water bottle in Tubbos hands, "Guess... I... I was...wrong..."
Tubbo swallowed thickly and he quickly placed the bottle on the floor and kicked it away from him. He chuckled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry about that... You just...scared me. I thought you were going to eat me!" He took in a breath, "So you can go into others' dreams?"
"Why...eat...you? Don't eat...h...humans..." The creature said with a small huff as if it was insulted by that. But once Tubbo kicked the bottle away the creature seemed to relax just slightly. Slowly it melted from the ceiling back down to the ground. And when he says melted...he really meant it. The creature's skin turned into liquid and it literally...melted to the ground. Before it reformed back into the same body as before. Woah... "Yes... I... I can... Didn't... Didn't...want to...scare you... But...needed you...to...to know... I was here... Wanted... Wanted... Wanted you to know... This is...y...your house...after all... I...I am...a guest..."
"You could've just said hi!" Tubbo exclaimed until it clicked that the creature probably assumed that Tubbo would react the same way if he did that. With fear and terror. "Oh... I... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you... I won't do that again... I won't hurt you. Um... You are welcome to stay here as long as you'd want... By the way... Just please...don't go into my nightmares again. I didn't really like that. And don't attack me either... I also don't like that. And um... I have a few more questions..."
The monster stared at Tubbo for several moments, simply staring at him. Until suddenly it disappeared and within a split second, it reappeared right before Tubbos face. "I will...not do that..." The creature clicked while it cut off Tubbos scream. "What...questions...?"
Tubbo held his chest as he panted from that scream, that really made him nearly jump out of his skin... Woah! "Um... Experiment 106 doesn't seem like a good name... Why don't we think of a better name for you? And... What are your pronouns?"
"N... Na...me? Uh... Sure... Never... Never...thought...of...a...another name... Just... 106..." The creature shrugged, but then it paused and stared at him. Its head tilted to the side curiously and it reminded tubbo of an owl. "Pro...nouns...? Uh... He... Him? I...think?"
"That's okay! We have plenty of time to think up a name for you! There's no rush!" Tubbo smiled, "He/Him? That's great! Nice to meet you! Mines is He/Him too! Just...so you know. Oh... I have one more question..."
"Would you like to save your friends at this lab?"

"It's...what?! I remember you telling me about this monster from your dreams. And how you'd get night terrors and sleep paralysis sometimes and you'd see this creature at the corner of your eye. But I thought that was just in your head! Like any other nightmare! How... How is that creature real?! Is that what I was hearing in the background? That screeching? It sounded...awful... Like static from a tv, almost. It's... What are you telling me?"
"I didn't think it was real either! I thought it was just some nightmare too! Sometimes I do have sleep paralysis like that where I see monsters at the corner of my eye. Or I get those night terrors. But they've never come to life! This... It wasn't just some person in a costume, I know it wasn't. Its mouth opened like some sort of fantasy creature! And...when I splashed water on its face, it actually burned! Steam came from its skin, Tommy! Actual steam! It was boiling! Like when you boil water and... It's still in my house. I gotta call the cops..."
"Steam came from its skin?! So that was the yelling too... Wait! Wait, Tubbo... What do you think the cops will do? The dispatcher will just laugh at you and hang up. Stupid Americans... But, even if they do get to your house... What do you think they'll do..."
"I gotta do something!! I can't just have some weird freaky Slenderman creature walking around my house! What do you suppose I do?"
"Kill it."
"What?! I'm not going to kill it, Tommy!!"
"It just tried to attack you, right? Or at least it sounded like that... You can call it self-defense!"
"I'm not going to attack an innocent creature! I'm sure it was just scared, that's it! If it wanted to kill me it could've done so already, but instead, it walked away! Clearly, it was just scared and now is hiding away, I'm not going to kill something that attacked cause of fear! That's wrong!"
"Than what do you purpose you do?"
"I'm going to talk to it... See if I can reason with it...and gain information."
"Talk to it?! Is it even capable of talking through that screeching?"
"I'm about to find out. Good luck in school, Tommy. I'll talk to you soon."
"Wait! I-"
Tubbo didn't wait to hear what else he wanted to say as he pressed the end call button and sighed. He could still hear the creature, but now it was a lot more quieter. As if it was sulking through the darkness... Like a spider...waiting to catch its prey... He shivered at that before standing up. Okay... He can do this... He can do this... He should...grab another water bottle just to be sure... Yeah... Though he doubts he's going to use it.
He ignored the call notification from Tommy as he stepped into the dark hallway, he clenched the bottle in his hands tightly. He was waiting for something to attack, anything to attack him right now. And he was scared. Very scared.
As he entered the living room, he gasped at seeing... Glowing red and green eyes on the...ceiling? What? He frantically pulled back the water bottle. "Stay right there! I'm not going to hurt you again...unless you give me a good reason too! I just...want to know what you are... But first...I'm going to turn on the lights... Okay? Stay where you are."
There was a small click in response. He... He figured that was a yes? Yeah? He isn't sure. But tubbo slowly moved over to the light switch anyways, he kept a very close eye on those glowing beams of light for eyes. If it moves... He's going to throw this. Even if he doesn't want to. He flipped on the light without the creature moving, thank goodness. And then he gasped at the sight.
The creature was hanging on to the ceiling, upside down. Its sharp claws dug into the drywall keeping its body hung in place. Its head was completely flipped around, like an owl, staring down at Tubbo. And he could see the long thin black and white tail hanging down and it wagging back and forth. It looked like...a spider. He couldn't...read what sort of expression this creature had. It's...so hard to read it. But the creature did appear...nervous. Even though he couldn't read it, it gave off the impression that it was scared and fearful... It was on the ceiling to get a higher ground and to keep a very close eye on Tubbo...
"I... H-Hi... It's...lovely to meet you...officially like this. It's... Um... Can you speak English?"
The creature continued to stare for several long moments, and just as Tubbo thought that the answer would be no, the creature's thin mouth opened. Revealing sharp fangs in its mouth, sharp enough to chew through bone.
"Y... Y...es... B... B.... Bare...ly... Nice...to...m... meet....you...too?"
It sounded like...hissing. it was hard to understand even what it was trying to say past the harsh hissing and screeching. But...it knew English! That's amazing! That's one step forward, okay.
"That's great! And thank you!" Tubbo squeaked, clearly happy and excited that he could communicate with this weird lanky creature, "What's your name, if you...have one that is."
"Exper...iment... 106...."

(Let me know if you want to be on the tag list!!)
~ The first thing that went through Tubbos mind was that there was a strange clicking sound followed by a weird screech. And the second was that he needed to act fast before he gets eaten by this weird monster from his dreams.
So, the young man reached behind him and he grabbed the first thing he could to defend himself with. A water bottle. An opened water bottle. Without a second to lose he threw the opened water bottle at the creature, and the water splashed all over its face.
He expected that he needed to move quickly while the creature was blinded momentarily. Except...a sound entered his ears that made him stop completely in his tracks. He looked down at the monster and saw...
It was huddled to the ground in a fetal position. Its hands to its face, and its mouth was open in a horrible screeching noise. But it wasn't the same screeching as before. No... This one had a different tone to it. It sounded like...the creature was in pain!! Oh no! What was he done?! He could even hear a loud hissing sound, like water being boiled on a hot pan. Without even thinking tubbo reached forward and he grabbed a shirt from his hamper. He turned the creature around so he could see its face, and oh God... Its skin was boiling!!! From the water!!! Oh gosh, oh gosh, oh gosh!!!
He started drying its face off with the shirt, hoping and praying that this will work and it'll stop boiling. Sure, the creature had attacked him but... It's not right to hurt it! And those yells... That's screeching... That horrible painful horrendous noise... It was clearly in a lot of unimaginable pain. That's... That's not right... And he did it! Oh God, he did it! He did this!! What sort of monster is he?! What is wrong with him!!
Once he is certain that all of the water has been wiped off of the creature's face Tubbo panted heavily and he scooted back from it. What...now? He could hear Tommy's voice yelling and screaming his name from the headphones even from this distance. But now the set is on the other side of this creature and...
When his gaze went back down to the creature he saw it staring right at him. And now... It had faint scars all over its face from where the water had splashed on it. Oh gosh... Is that permanent?!
"I... I'm... I'm sorry... I..." Tubbo started, feeling absolutely terrible.
Within a blink of an eye, the creature stood up, which caused Tubbo to gasp in shock. He scooted backward, afraid that it may attack him again. Instead it just...stared. Until finally it snapped its jaws at tubbo before rushing off back into the darkness. And tubbo could still hear that weird clicking and screeching coming from the living room of his house. Oh...okay...
Tubbo sat frozen for quite a number of minutes his mind had no idea how to process what had just happened before his eyes. That creature from his nightmares... It's real? And... It doesn't like water for whatever reason... Can it speak English? If it was a real thing then how did it get into his nightmares? How is a creature like that even possible?!
Very slowly tubbo reached forward to grab the headset off of the floor, and he brought the mic to his mouth.
"T-Tommy... Remember... Remember that monster I told you about from my nightmares? It's... It's real..."

~
Tubbo woke up with a start. Cold sweat down his back. His round eyes whipped back and forth around his small bedroom, he even held his bee stuffed animal close to his chest as if that'll protect him. Though he knew it won't.
It had visited him again in his dreams...
That... creature... That monster... He doesn't know what it is, or why it keeps haunting his dreams. All he knows is that, every night for the past month...he's been seeing this creature.
This extremely tall black and white creature... It almost looks humanoid, but there is something wrong with it. Maybe it's the lanky long body and limbs... Maybe it's the different colored eyes with black iris. Maybe it's the feet that look like animalistic feet rather than human. Maybe it's too long of a mouth, and how it doesn't have lips...but just a line... And when it opens its mouth...sharp fangs emerge. Its long split tongue hisses out and-
Tubbo jumped as he heard a notification on his phone, he looked over to see it was a discord notification. Tommy. It was from Tommy. It was late at night for him, but for Tommy it must be in early in the morning... Very early. What is he doing up, he wondered? He shook his head and read the message, just a normal one asking how his night was. Tommy often does forget about the time difference, but yet he does remember that he has been having sleep issues lately. Ever since he told Tommy about that, he's been sending him messages every day asking how he is. Tubbo is so lucky to have such a great best friend!
He read the message, it was a message wondering if he's awake and if he'd pop into voice chat. Yeah, he can do that. He doubts that he's going to get much more sleep tonight anyways. So he reached over to grab his headphones from his desk and he laid back down in bed, before hitting the voice chat.
"Yo! Tubbo! What up, my man?!"
"Nothings up! What are you doing up so early?"
"Ah... Got school, remember? I had a bit extra time so I'd figured I pop in and see how my big man T is doing!"
"... You want something from me, don't you, Tommy?"
"What?! No!! I can't just pop in to see how my best friend is doing on this great day?!.... Okay, fine, I had this perfect dream of us pranking Dream and I know it'll work in the game too! My amazing mind laid out everything for us, all we gotta do is do the work!"
"More like I have to do all the work..."
"What? Nah!! I'll help you, buddy! What do you mean! We just need lots of obsidian and water and..."
Tubbos focus drifted off of Tommy's voice as he could...feel something. He isn't sure what exactly the feeling felt like, or how to describe it. But it was there... He could feel the hair on the back of his neck rise up. And his breathing starts to become quicker, faster. Something's wrong... No, not like that. Something is...staring at him!
He quickly turned to face the door, and that's when his heart dropped. His face went cold, and he felt his body become frozen in fear. His phone dropped from his hands and landed on the floor, including his headphones. A loud thud echoed in the room as a result. He wanted to run. But he couldn't. He has to run. Why won't his body move?!
It's the monster...from his nightmares... It's right there... Staring at him from the darkness of the hallway. Those two different colored eyes... The jewels in its crown... It's the monster... It has to be. But how...
Tubbo screamed as the monster suddenly dashed forward straight towards him, he shut his eyes and fell to the ground in a panic state.
