Nah Hades ships Jasico cuz Jason exhibits Wolf behavior and a wolf is a dog, Hades is a dog person nd he is trying to convert his emo son into being a dog person to-

Remember when Hades led Nico to camp jupiter Jason and later told him that his kids are rarely happy and he wanted Nico to be an exception to the rule, and then Nico interpreted that as making Jason his exception

Anyway Hades ships Jasico, possibly out of spite to Zeus for killing Maria. Hades has Jason all ready and waiting and prettily scrubbed up for his son when he comes down into the underworld to save Bob or whatever.

Because Nico likes to overuse Shadow traveling he falls asleep in random places, So Hades just Nico proof the palace with soft surfaces mostly in his office...he likes it when his son sleeps near him when he works ( Also Y e s healing underworld Nico supremecy )

I don’t know why but I prefer to picture Hades’ working space less like a throne and more like… a living room, with a working desk for him in the corner, a large table and equally large sofas and couches etc for his family and guests (those that deserve to sit).

It’s like in those movies when the boss’s sitting at the head of the table, his family scattering around him on the luxury chairs and you’re on your knees in front of their scrutinies. You know what I’m saying? No? Shame. :(

Bianca & Maria dies { not from Zues btw } so Hades became overprotective of Nico, so no one or any of the gods { besides Persephone & the other underworld gods even } knew about Nico existence

even more so after Nico started developing his underworldly powers & secretly keeps him in the underworld

{ spoiled & pampred by the underworldly beings, Charon, Cerberus, ect ect }

Nico became a sheltered & Shy boy never really meeting anyone alive or left the underworld in iver 80 years

Percy, Annabeth & Grover than came into the Palace to see a young boy sitting besides Hades throne playing with Mythomagic along with happy shadows surrounding him protectively

He works as the Prince/ Hades’ Successor thus is only known as those names. He is his father’s shadow. Only the higher-ups know his true name, a few having met him personally. The others don’t know his face, his age,… Unlike Zagreus who gives up the family business, all Nico’s personal information is blackened until the day he takes the don’ chair.

He takes the most important jobs, those that can only be assigned to the family members that Hades trusts the most: eliminating traitors, acting as representation, giving out direct orders to the assassination team…

He exists as a myth amongst the low-class members, as they only hear of his titles and never have the chance to see him in person. Yet to the superiors, Nico is a force to be reckoned with, for his presence is usually accompanied by highly prioritized business.

He takes the Underworld’s name seriously. Nico doesn’t enjoy the business, per se, but it has been his job since the day he was born. Hades’ blood takes their family seriously. Same to their pride.

Nico might disprove some or his father’s doing, but he would not let anyone throw dirt over their name, be it his father’s left-hand man or the most crucial pillars of the kingdom.

They are different from normal, lowlife criminals. The family has legitimate power in every aspect of life, be it military, politics, economy… The mafia net consists of many small and large clans, syndicates and such, but Hades’ family exists as the capo dei capi. All their generations has been protecting the mafia rules and keep it in place since the dawn of crimes. The empire is unshakable.

Nico has always been taught that his life-time mission is to preserve its sublime reign. And he intends to fulfill it.

Something something Nico and Percy fight and suddenly Percy realizes that Nico can predict and parries his attacks too easily, and his fighting style suddenly seems too familiar.

Nico’s style has never been familiar. He learns from so many and he self-teaches just as much. It has always been a rare thing to see through Nico’s advances.

“I learn it from someone, recently,” he said, calm and unfazed, watching Percy’s reactions with a dark cat-like gaze.

And that is how Percy realizes that Luke Castellan’s soul is trapped in the Underworld, forever unable to be free.
