Thank you so much for your support! It means the world to see the hype for this series!!
Okay, so, I know I'm only fourteen but holy shit am I excited for Blessed Be The Wicked. Like, overly so, I practically pop when I see more stuff about it. Also, random thought, does anyone else find their depiction of Slenderman beautiful? Like, that's really pretty to me. I want to stare at it all day.

I see a lot of people clowning on the people of Pelican Town for not repairing the community center themselves or clowning on Lewis for embezzling and. like. Those criticisms aren't entirely unfair. But I think instead of coming at it from a perspective of "why can't the townspeople do this" we should be asking "why and how can the farmer do this?"
Like. Think about it. The farmer arrives in Stardew Valley on the first day of spring. By the first day they're obviously different. By day five the spirits of the forest who haven't been seen by the townsfolk in years or generations are speaking to them. By the second week they've developed a rapport with the wizard that lives outside town.
In the spring they go foraging and find more than even Linus, who's spent so many years learning the ways of the valley. Maybe he knows, when he sees them walking back home. Maybe he looks at them and understands that they're different, chosen somehow.
In the summer they fish in the lakes and the ocean for hours on end, catching fish that even Willy's only ever heard of, fish that he thought were the stuff of legend. They pull up giants from the deep and mutated monstrosities from the sewers.
In the fall, their crops grow incredibly immense; pumpkins twice as tall as a person, big enough that someone could live inside. The farmer cuts it down with an axe without even batting an eye. Does Lewis wonder, when he checks the collection bin that night and finds it full to the brim with pumpkin flesh? What does he think? Does he even leave the money? Does he have the funds to pay the farmer millions of dollars for the massive amounts of wine they sell? Or is it someone--something--else entirely?
In the winter, the farmer delves into the mines. No one in Pelican Town has been down there in decades. No one in living memory has been to the bottom. The farmer gets there within the season. They return to the surface with stories of dwarven ruins and shadow people, stories they only tell to Vincent and Jas, whose retellings will be dismissed by the adults as flights of fancy. People walking by the entrance to the mines sometimes hear the farmer in there, speaking in a language no one can understand. Something speaks back.
The farmer speaks to the the wizard. They speak to the spirit of a bear inside a centuries-old stone. They speak to the shadow people and the dwarves, ancient enemies, and they try to mend the rift. They speak to the Junimos, ancient spirits of the forest and the river and the mountain. They taste the nectar of the stardrops and speak to the valley itself. They change Pelican Town, and they change the valley. Things are waking up.
And what does Evelyn think? She's the oldest person in the valley; she was here when the farmer's grandfather was young. (How old *is* she, anyway? She never seems to age. She doesn't remember the year she was born.) Does she see the farmer and think of their grandfather? Does she try to remember if he was like this too, strange and wild and given the gifts of the forest?
And does their grandfather haunt the valley? He haunts the farm, still there even after his death; his body died somewhere else, but his spirit could never stay away for long. Does Abigail, using her ouija board on a stormy night, almost drop the planchette when she realizes it's moving on its own? Does Shane, walking to work long before anyone else leaves their house, catch glimpses of a wispy figure floating through the town? Does the farmer know their grandfather came back to the place they both love so much?
Mr. Qi takes interest in the farmer. He's different, too; in a different way, maybe, but the principles are the same. They're both exceptional, and no matter what Qi says about it being hard work and dedication, they both know the truth: the world bends around the both of them, changing to fit their needs. Most people aren't visited by fairies or witches. Most people don't have meteorites crash in their yard. Most people couldn't chop down trees all day without a break or speak to bears and mice and frogs.
The farmer is different. The rules of the world don't work for them the way they work for everyone else. The farmer goes fishing and finds the stuff of fairy tales. The farmer goes mining and fights shadow beasts and flying snakes. The farmer looks at paths the townspeople walk every day and finds buried in the dirt relics of lost civilizations.
The farmer is a violent, irrepressible miracle, chosen by the valley and destined to return to it someday. Even if they'd never received the letter, they would've come home.
They always come home eventually.

Tango was a sweet boy, I didn’t get to know him very long but he was such a loving dog. Always eager to see you and so curious about the world around him. He was loved, he was family.
Tumblr media
This is Tango.
We only got to know him for a week, but he was the sweetest thing you could imagine.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I thought I should post this so that everyone else could get to meet Tango. He was going to be our smile dog later in the production. He was a cast member just as much as any of us, and we miss him so much.
We were thrilled to meet him, and we knew in our hearts we would be his forever family. He was spoiled and loved, and he'll always be family no matter what.

This! As a member of this team it’s broken my heart to see so much vitriol towards my best friends over miscommunication and differing opinions. I love this fandom and I love y’all and I’m hoping that things will become more positive from here <3
Okay, I know this is out of the blue, but I feel like I have to clear something up.
PLEASE do not take what has transpired in the fandom as an excuse to attack anyone involved in the recent discourse that has happened. You don’t have to like or agree with what was said, but please don’t attack each other.
You may notice that I have taken down the posts about what I had to say about the situation, and that is because I believe I fed too much into the hostility that flared up. I didn’t agree with what was said, but that wasn’t an excuse.
I will admit that what happened caused my temper to flare as this fandom and its characters have become very personal to me and I therefore reacted with more hostility then I should have. I jumped to insults like a child, and that wasn’t very cool of me. And for that, I apologize.
Please don’t attack the Blessed Be The Wicked creators. And if any of them see this, I apologize if anything I had said negatively affected you guys. I acted out of turn and that was wrong of me. While I unfortunately have no interest in the project after what has happened, I wish you nothing but luck as it is a very cool concept. Continue with your creativity and don’t let anyone stop you.

Y'all I'm tired
To preface this is a MULTIFANDOM problem so MULTIPLE fandoms are going to be tagged. I've seen this happening too much and it's on both sides of the alley so don't think "your side" is exempt from this. I'm not here to take sides on the petty argument of the week so keep that off of this post.
The point of fandom is DISCOURSE, people aren't going to enjoy things the same way you are. Differing interpretations of media is NORMAL. Throwing around derogatory and shitty statements about others doesn't make your point more correct.
People can still enjoy content and have genuine critiques on the content itself or the fandom surrounding it. Yes, I include fandom critiques because with the amount of petty drama and insults that get thrown around over opinions that shouldn't matter make fandoms very hostile environments to be part of.
It makes me so sad when I'm just trying to enjoy myself in a fandom space (whether that be a critical space or a genuine fan space) and the only thing I see are people freaking out and writing long form essays (hypocritical I know) over what Joe Schmo had to say about some aspect of XYZ.
Now don't get me wrong, there is a difference between critique and bullying. No one should be forced to tolerate bullying and there should never be space for bullying, but please please LEARN THE DIFFERENCE. It's exhausting to see people flip their lids and call someone a bully over simple phrasing of a differing opinion.
People who defend their posts calling someone out for critique often like to use the phrase "if you don't like what you're seeing, don't look at it" or "just block them!" Y'all should take your own advice too. There is merit to creating specific tags for certain forms of discourse so you don't have to see as much of it. I try to keep my critiques of content to the specified critical tags, if you don't see specified tags it may be worth it to create some!
To be clear, it's ok to have feelings about specific aspects of content and fandom. It's ok to voice your opinion on those things. It's not ok to go around bullying others and making people feel unwelcome in the fandom space because of minute and frankly petty reasonings. Also just because you personally don't see it happening, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist and therefore isn't a problem.
Do your part and make your fandom a better place, love each other and if you don't like what you see, either engage respectfully or keep scrolling. It's not the end of the world at the end of the day. <3

Blessed be the wicked production update: 04/16/24
Hey guys, Anton here from SOMETHING WICKED LLC! I just wanted to post an update on how things are going on set and in the writers room here! For starter's we just wrapped up all of the basic masks and costumes, but now comes to long grueling process of building the bigger monsters like The Rake. (Does anyone want to see the building process of that?) I started this project when I was 14, now I'm 22 and have an actual team of people and a production company who all want to see their beloved creepypasta characters be turned into something that isn't the fannon. We all grew up on these characters but realized that they simply don't hold up anymore, which is why we're so hellbent on producing this stomach churning series which is a first for the community.
As production goes we'll be opening things like Patreon to help fund the project as we have some very big ideas for later seasons and the several short films planned. Patreon will include such things as: - Basic tier: You get to watch episodes early and get behind the scenes specials -Mid tier: Giving you access to all of the lore and story notes in a server, and the basic tier rewards. - Highest tier: Designing a proxy to be put into the series as an extra, and the other rewards. With systems like this in place we want to push for interaction with our fandom, and to be reachable creators. Blessed be the wicked has been a passion project since I was a teenager, I always wanted to push for this fan base to have the chance to show what its capable of when it comes to genuine horror. Seeing as how its a rarity here I spent the past several years putting together a team of writers, actors, creators, costume designers, creature specialists, SFX artists, voice actors, stunt men, and the like just to get this project going so we could make something truly horrific. Blessed be the wicked is as much a creepypasta project as it is a slenderverse project, we're just the firsts to meld the two into something realistic and vile. Serial killers are a reality we live with, and the disturbing acts of violence committed is something most creators shy away from, which is where this amazing team comes in. In Blessed be the wicked we are proud to not only show but build so many fun and gross prosthetics and makeup effects to show off such things as: A baby's body puppeteered like a muppet, lacerated veins, beheading, skinning, body mutilations, hangings, chainsaw disembowelment, bludgeoning, eye gouging, force feeding a woman her own body, and many many more wonderful effects. We pride ourselves in basing the style of the series off the brilliant "The Poughkeepsie tapes" while working with the fantastical and horrific nature of where Slenderman as a character originated from in the 1979 classic "Phantasm". I'm always happy to answer questions, so whatever you wanna ask send it my way! Stay Wicked! -Anton

I'd buy it had it been set up that Feyre having a drop of power from each High Lord was like the perfect storm of volatile magic being combined together to give her power that's unique from the High Lords' but still has some reflection in the power she was given.
If magic/power is volatile and unpredictable then why wouldn't a combo of differing magic create a mishmash of not only contradictory magic but also unique combinations that set Feyre and her abilities apart?
IDK that would've made more sense narratively to me and have worked better for the scene and the plot as a whole.
One thing that’s always bothered me is how Feyre was able to put Beron on his ass at the meeting of the High Lords. It makes zero sense for her to be more powerful than him. She is newly fae and only has a drop of power from each of them, and yet it reads like she has the full arsenal of all the High Lords’ powers. If it was truly just a drop of power given, shouldn’t that be reflected in how she’s able to wield it?

Something I love about Lore Rekindled..
So by now everyone knows about the lovely @genericpuff and their LO rewrite (if you don't you have to check it out!!!) and I've been re-reading it alongside LO just for the sake of comparative analysis and I noticed something within the first few eps that was so amazing.
Persephone noticed and approached Hades first in Rekindled.
It seems like such a small change at first but looking at it in comparison to the original it's a HUGE shift and immediately sets the tone for who Persephone is as a character in Rekindled vs LO.
In LO based on first impressions of Persephone we see a young woman who is hopelessly out of place and severely in the "damsel mindset." The first time Hades ever sees her is when she's in distress after being knocked over. We see her through his POV and don't see the situation through her eyes at all.
In Rekindled the focus is on Persephone and her POV, she sees Hades at the bar and through her we see this immediate connection (though not instantly a positive one, i.e. "he's terrifying"). It leaves the audience immediately interested by what she means by "terrifying". Despite that initial impression she chooses to still approach him which shows remarkable agency and boldness on her part in comparison to her OG counterpart.
She also approaches with a decent amount of social awkwardness, she's more forward than most who were raised on Olympus, handily securing her "small fish in a big pond" characterization without making her seem like a ditz. It makes her showing up in his car later (another change there that I could write a whole other post on) less weird and creepy since they've at least had a conversation before that moment.
TLDR: I love Lore Rekindled and the shifts that were made to make these characters feel more realistic and less flat.
