10 years ago I was lying down in my bed unhappy with where my art was heading and not knowing what I was going to do after graduation.
I decided, on a whim, I wanted to catch up with some animated movies, since I sort of stopped watching them in my teenage years. I realized how much I loved feature animation and how much I wanted to be a part of that industry.
The first thing I did the following day was sit down and make a drawing of Harry Potter (down after Read More) as a way to force myself to draw in a more cartoon style. So far I "knew" how to draw in a sort of Anime style and had about 4 months of figure drawing experience from College and that was it.
10 years later, I'm still fighting an uphill battle to reach the industry, but I'm closer than ever and have accomplished so much. I found out things about myself (I'm in the spectrum apparently), made incredible friends and saw things I never imagined I would.
So despite everything, I decided to unearth the same old drawing and remake it. Revisit the moment that started everything and remind myself of how far I've come and why I did all that I did.
Here's to another decade!
After Seth Kearsley released the animatic I got obsessed with the idea of an actual Kingdom Hearts cartoon, but like, instead of trying to copy the game's japanese style wholesale, just embraced that it is a western cartoon. So I took the trio's hair gel away and shuffled their outfits a little bit.
Did this commission for a person from reddit who wanted a Christmas gift to their Mother (represented in the illustration as well).
I posted it here with their permission. I find it so interesting how some commissions can be described, I never thought about drawing Winnie the Pooh along with Chavo del Ocho and his friends but there he is upon his request, since both franchises have sentimental meaning to the client and his mother.
I’ll probably be doing commissions for the foreseeable future, if anyone’s interested feel free to send me a PM! I’ll make a proper post about it later.

Hello everyone!
Recently I’ve fallen into a very precarious situation and need some urgent economic assistance before I end up homeless, so I decided to resume working on Commissions!
If you’d like a decent illustration done relatively quickly, be it fan-art or art of one of your OCs, please contact me through PM!
Reblogs are also appreciated, thank you.
