Not in a bro way like "you gotta take ice baths and wake up at 4 AM every day" way, but in the sense that we've achieved a lot of convenience at the price of human misery. Like we shouldn't be able to get an overnight Amazon delivery if it means a warehouse worker has to piss in a bottle instead of taking bathroom breaks.
A year ago we bought Gloomhaven, and we've only played the tabletop version 2-3 times since because setup takes an overwhelming amount of time.
Recently, though, we were able to get the PC version, which removes all physical setup and the need for players to be the enemy AI and it's really the helped us get back into the game. We do intend to play the tabletop version again, but the PC game has been a great way to learn the game (and it's also significantly cheaper than the tt version if you're on the fence about spending over $100 on a game).
Oh man, been listening to The Magnus Protocol. Love when Elias was all like "This Magnusses my protocol," and Jon was like "Don't you mean 'This THE Magnus(ses my) Protocol is a podcast distributed by Rusty Quill and licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial Sharealike 4.0 International License?" and then they fucked. God this show is great.
What if "Everybody Dance Now" was performed by an orchestra? And rather than inspiring everybody to dance and work up a sweat, we encourage them to polite sit in a concert hall and listen to the orchestra perform?
This, and other stupid questions like it, are what fuel me as a composer.
Anyway, here's an orchestral cover of "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)."
I'm way behind, but I just finished Mr. Robot. This show broke me multiple times. At the end of two different episodes I stopped the show and sat there crying for five minutes.
