➔He only notices it when it started hurting, he paid no attention to it as he went on to play naturally as possible, when a break was called for he asks for an ice pack

➔He winces at the cool pack resting on his fresh bruise, it's gotten a lot purple from before. You click your tongue at the sight of him in pain

Pool Party with Yamaguchi

“Aha!” You exclaimed as the perfect swimsuit appeared in front of your eyes. You've been in the mall for hours trying to find the perfect swimsuit to show off to Yamaguchi at tomorrow’s pool party. Not only that, but you wanted to have the best one there. “ It’s a one piece, not too revealing and it has nice patterns too,” you thought to yourself “Alright! I’ll take it." You grabbed the swimsuit and quickly walked over to the cashier.

“I would like to pay for this please” you said as you placed the swimsuit on the desk. The woman scanned it and replied “That would be $40 and how would you like to pay for it?”. “Cash” you responded as you handed her two $20 bills. “Thank you, and have a good day!” The woman said as you waved at her.

You called your mom to come and pick you up. When she arrived you guys drove home. Taking off your shoes, you quickly rush up the stairs to your room to try on your new swimsuit. “Oh my gosh, I look so cute in this!” you said looking in the mirror and posing. Working out sure did come in handy, especially during this occasion. After 5 minutes of you posing in front of the mirror, you came back to your senses and changed back into your everyday clothes and headed downstairs to prepare for dinner. “I can’t wait to see my little Yami tomorrow!” You said, excited as you make your way to the kitchen.

Skipping to tomorrow~

Today was the day you see your boyfriend, and you're finally all set to go. You closed and locked the door behind you before heading over to your mom’s car. “Did you pack everything?” Your mom asked. “Yup, I’m absolutely sure I didn’t forget anything” you responded. “ Let’s hope so, because I don’t wanna be going back and forth delivering your things,” Your mom replied “Ok, now let’s get going shall we?”.

It took 20 minutes for you to get to the destination. The funny thing is your friend Mina rented the pool just for this party. Also it was originally a girls-only thing, but you had a little trick up your sleeve to convince Mina to let you invite your boyfriend.

“Hey Y/N! Over here!, you turn to see Mina jumping and waving at you with both arms. “Mina! Good to see you~” You yelled, running at her to give her a hug. "It’s only been a month since summer break started and I already miss seeing you at school” She cried “So where’s Yamaguchi?” She asked looking around. “He told me he would be coming with Tsukishima,”

You responded. Mina grew a small blush, “W-wait, I thought you said that only Yamaguchi was coming!”. “Yea, but then my baby would feel awkward,” “Plus it’s just Tskukii~” you teased, and prepared to run for your life. “Why you litt-” She said but before she could finish you dashed off heading inside the change room leaving her running after you.

You both went inside the change room panting heavily to catch your breath. Your other two friends, Airi and Yua already arrived and stared at you both confused. “Ummm, you guys right there?” Yua asked. “Y-yea yea we’re fine just out of breath from running that’s all” you responded. “Y/N I will kill you for this,” Mina concluded, catching her breath. You took off your clothes revealing your swimsuit. “Wow, you look really good in that Y/N” Airi complimented, giving you a thumbs up. “Thanks!,” you replied,“ I hope Yami likes it too” you thought to yourself.

Once you and your friends were all changed, you guys went out. In the distance you were standing you saw two figures, one tall and one shorter than the other up at the waterslide. You immediately knew who those two people were. “Yamiiiii over hereeee” you called out to him. He looked over seeing his girlfriend waving at him with a big smile, and waved back. The two went down the water slide, Yamaguchi first then made their way over to the girls. You ran over to your boyfriend with open arms giving him a tight hug. Since the poor guy was shorter than you, he was suffocating in between your breasts. “Y-Y/N c-can’t breathe!”, you looked down seeing his face all blue and let go. “Sorry Yami, I guess I got over excited” you said with a sneaky smile on your face.

"Yeah but you didn't need to suffocate Yamaguchi" Tsukishima retorted, "Oh shush you" you whacked his arm, "Let's go inside the pool Yami!~" you said, dragging him inside the pool. As Tsukishima and your three friends joined in as well. After a few splashes and water up your guy's noses, Mina challenged you into a chicken fight. "Oh you're on" you smirked, getting on Yamaguchi's shoulders and you coaxed Tsukishima in joining in.

After a few deals, he lets Mina on his shoulders as the fight begins. You were a competitive soul, so you really wanted to win, you and Yamaguchi did the first attack, pushing Mina as hard as you could, but Tsukishima stood firm, then Mina started pushing back as well. "I won't let you win that easily" She said with a dorky smile. "Oh yeah? Take this!" You said pushing her really hard, Tsukishima stumbled, making Mina wobble on top, then she fell in.

"Ohh!" Airi and Yua yelled, as they laughed at Mina. "We won Yami!" you smiled down at him. "Yeah! Take that Tsukki!" He laughed as Tsukishima wiped the water off his face. "Whatever" he said, climbing out of the pool, "Wait Tsukki! We're having a round two!" Yamaguchi said as you climbed down his shoulders. "Yeah, you guys can top this time" you said, winking at the blonde guy, he rolled his eyes and went back in the pool.

"Let's just get this over with please" he sighed. "Come on Tsukishima!" Mina said, patting her shoulders, letting Tsukishima hesitantly climb on her shoulders. Then it was Yamaguchi's turn to climb on yours, since he was so light you easily stayed balanced. But Mina on the other hand was nearly going to collapse trying to bear the weight of Tsukki on her shoulders.

“Mina, I think it’s best if I carried you on my shoulders,” Tsukishima suggested. “No no, I got this!” She exclaimed as she finally regained her balance. You right away charged at them before Mina could react and Yamaguchi pushed Tsukishima off causing him to fall into the water along with Mina. “Ya! We won again!” you excitedly said, giving Yamaguchi a high five then crouching down to let him get off your shoulders.

"Alright alright,enough of the rough housing, let's go get something to eat" Airi suggested as you all dried off, sitting on the side lines to grab a snack or two. You and Yamaguchi were sitting beside each other, eating the sandwiches you made. "Hey Yamaguchi" you said, he looked over to you "Yeah?" He asks. "Look what I can do!" You said, easily scooping him up in your arms, "AHH!" he yells before running up to the pool to toss him in it.

"Y/N!" Your friends laughed, Tsukishima looked unimpressed. Yamaguchi submerges from the water, looking quite surprised. "W-What just happened" he said, "I picked you up and threw you in" you smiled. "I didn't think you were that strong!" Yamaguchi says impressed, you hold out a hand to help him out of the pool. "Let's get you dried up again" as you pull him up and hand him his towel.

"I got this!" You said confidently, as you plopped down the ingredients on the counter as Akaashi puts his pink apron on, the one you bought for him on his birthday. "You got the recipe?" He asked, washing his hands. "Nope! I have it memorized already!" You said, smirking quite proudly. "You sure?” Akaashi looked at you, raising one brow.

“They don't call me Gordon Ramsay for nothing!” You stated. “Say that to the burnt pancakes you made just yesterday,” He murmured. “What’s that?” You asked. “Nothing~” He responded. Thankfully you were just baking cookies so it should be easy for you. He started preheating the oven, while you started making the batter.

Cracking the eggs was always the hardest part for you, and you usually gave the job to Akaashi. But today you wanted to impress him. "You got some egg shells in there" He said as he peered over your shoulder. "Oh shit you’re right" You noticed as you scooped out the egg shells, while he just chuckled, "I'll do the dry ingredients" Akaashi said, taking a bowl and scooping some flour. As you continued with the wet ingredients.

You pouted, “But I wanted to do that”. Akaashi shot a playful glare at you, “Look, these cookies better taste like my grandma’s or else I’m not eating them”. You gave out a sigh and continued on with your work. Once you were both done, you slowly poured the wet ingredients to the dry ones and Akaashi started to mix, not before putting in a hand full of chocolate chips.

Being the little 5 year old minded person you are, you mixed rapidly making the batter fly all over the kitchen.

“Oi! Make a mess and you're doing all the cleanup!” Akaashi warned. You playfully giggled, sticking out your tongue at him before slowing down your speed. While you were doing that, Akaashi took out the baking tray, laid out some baking sheets on top, and sprayed the sheets with cooking oil.

The dough was finally made, and you both took pieces and rolled out 16 balls placing them on the tray. “Y/N! I’m going for a shower you put the cookies in oven,” Akaashi said “Also please don’t burn them for love of god” he pleaded while going upstairs to take a quick shower. "Can I join too?" You asked, winking, but Akaashi just rolled his eyes while shaking his head. You grabbed the tray and placed it in the oven forgetting to set off a timer. Walking to the living room.

“Welp time for a beauty nap!” You happily said laying on the couch, then dozed off in your dream world.

35 minutes later you woke up to the sound of an alarm blaring and a panicked Akaashi running down the stairs trying to fan the smoke detector to stop the noise. You quickly got up rushing over to the oven putting on oven mitts and taking out the burnt cookie tray.

You stared down at it with disappointment in your eyes knowing this is the 100th time you failed to bake something good for Akaashi. Once the fire alarm went silent, Akaashi walked over to you, stared at you with both arms crossed. “Well well, didn’t I warn you?” He began “You're lucky I was only taking a shower or else you could’ve been in serious trouble!” He scolded you.

"I'm really a failure huh?" You said, looking away from him, sadness dripping down your voice, he sighed as he takes your chin to make you look at him. "Look, I'm not mad that the cookies are burnt, I'm worried about you getting hurt okay? We can just make new ones, ones that aren't burnt" He comforted you, you sniffed as you tried smiling at him.

"You're always so understanding Keiji.." You trailed off, he leans closer to you, giving your forehead a small kiss, "We'll throw away these ones and bake new ones okay?" He suggested taking the tray full of burnt cookies and dumping it in the garbage can, "Let's use a timer this time hm?" He smiled patting your head. "Sure sure!~" You excitedly said as you stand on your tippy toes and peck his lips. Akaashi blushed bright red, "Y-Yeah, let's do that" He fumbled around his words, while you giggled at his cute reaction.
