I did wonder at some point WHY Arlecchino is potrayed as a bunny, especially when the game has tried to paint her as a wolf in a sheeps clothing (despite it turning out to be the other way around), but then a friend pointed out a certain thing about rabbits.

Which links so well with her own story quest

She plucks off her own "fur" so her kids can have a nest (which is entirely subjective to what the kids wants (stay in the house or live a new life))

Arlecchino seeing Clervie try to defy their fate by constantly getting into fights with her mother, and even round up all the kids to try and avoid their doom.

But at the end she had to watch her best friend come into the realization that the only freedom she will ever get a choice to have is death.

Arlecchino has always known that trying to defy fate in itself is futile, she even got a harsh proof of it right in front of her.

But she never gave up.

She kept trying to defy fate, ranging from killing her "mother" And making the house a better place to trying so hard to find a way or ANY way so they can defy the prophecy that all fontainians will get washed away despite her not being fontainian.

She KNOWS that defying fate is futile but she still tries so hard to do so just because what if there truly is a benefit to holding on to such a fleeting wish.

Arlecchino being deemed untrustworthy and crazy between the ranks can be seen in a new light entirely

She had to kill her own "mother" by hand due to how much of a terrible person she was, brought to a foreign land, and the punishment that was given to her is the title (sins) of her "mother"..it is no wonder that she wants to leave/is not loyal to the tsaritsa

The tsaritsa being known for her "love" makes it seem like (on surface level) the title bestowed upon Arlecchino almost looks like mercy when in reality its a cruel punishment, a heavy one infact that is a seal of "You have become who you despise the most"

It truly is a no wonder if she wants to leave or bear no loyalty at all to the fatui/tsaritsa

And yet her love and care deep down for her children was so much more bigger than her that she stuck through it, she had to make sure the house would be safe (the prophecy already done, etc) before letting someone else take over

She wanted to make sure that her children ARE and WILL be okay

Sometimes i think about the fact that Jing Yuan has no one he can lean onto and be completely vulnerable, you know those situations of "i look for an adult, but it turns out im the adult" situations? Thats him

Im not saying he has no companions, he does, old and new, but there always feels like a gap inbetween them, a bridge no one nor him wants to cross, either its from his fear of losing more people in his life without realizing or his title as a general

His position doesnt help him in that aspect either, because if the people sees their leader waver it would shatter the trust, he always has to be multiple steps ahead all the time and put a front that he knows what hes doing no matter if he does or doesnt

Hes not alone, and yet he keeps everyone at arms length, surely itd get lonely eventually?

What if eventually Jing Yuan has to perish by the hands of Yanqing due to being marastruck

Yanqing who is forced to subdue the only person he knows as a legal guardian..his own dad

Jing Yuan knowing when the time comes that he becomes marastruck, he hopes that Yanqing can stop him before he does too much damage (or even hurt his own son)

And if im not mistaken, general Teng Xiao had the lighting lord and it was passed down to Jing Yuan when he became general due to the fact Teng Xiao had passed, theres an assumption that Fu Xuan will too get a spirit when she becomes general (maybe not the same but who knows)

But surely Jing Yuan is well aware of that, and it makes me wonder if he has other reasons to not let her be general just yet and telling Yanqing he should be patient and learn the reason for swordsmanship too

What are the chances that hes waiting and hoping for them to truly be ready when the time comes that hes marastruck

So atleast when he loses his mind and his time is up, he knows the Luofu is in safe hands

Even if it means that his own companions have to strike him down

Where?? By all means hes not perfect i am well aware but hes very much trying

Yanqing didnt get manipulated by a heliobi because he feels like hes not good enough/a disappointment to jingyuan AND breakfree from it by realizing that jingyuan was never disappointed in him and has always believed in him from the start and that jingyuan has hopes that he will one day understand why he trains and perfects his swordsmanship for people to call jingyuan a terrible parent

And even so, jingyuan then proceeds to blame HIMSELF for not doing EVEN BETTER when it comes to teaching yanqing and told him not to worry to much about what had transpired

Yanqings worries about not being good enough and wants to make jingyuan proud is very understandable, its like a kid who just wants to make their parents proud in general, and jingyuans worries about yanqing being in grave dangers is also like a parent worrying over their kid regardless of their age, because thats what children and parents are just like in general, no one was wrong in that situation or in any, its just part of life and thats why finding the middle ground is very important as to not make one side feel belittled, but Jingyuan had never held yanqing too tightly till the point yanqing feels trapped, he just worries for the boy, and yanqing had gotten to decide on his own what he wants to be, it was not forced upon him

Not to mention the many instances we see in game or even events that jingyuan cares for yanqing too

They are very father and son, and i refuse to believe otherwise

Why are people SURPRISED that Alhaitham is nice???

He IS nice, yes hes cold but not intentionally, thats just how he is but he doesnt mean it in a terrible way

He doesnt flaunt any form of superiority over someone since he even says that he personally doesnt value himself more than others, rather hes stating facts that comes o f f as being cocky when hes just saying what IS correct, hes blunt till the point where people often consider it as rude and arrogant but he sees it as something that is normal because thats literally how he is

Yes, being blunt isnt always a good thing and people should know when to say the truth, not lie but postpone it, but theres also a consideration that not everyone is able to always know social cues and multiple (including myself) struggle to pick them up often, and of course it comes with consequences just like how Alhaitham is heavily disliked by some of the professors or even other students for his "unacceptable" attitude

His entire SQ is also about how he doesnt care how others perceive him but puts his foot down when it endangers others even when he doesnt even know who they are and all he wants is just a simple life

Hes not mean nor a terrible person, hes actually a nice person

Just because someone DOESN'T fall into the *common* character type of being a happy go lucky, always cheerful and smiling person doesnt automatically make them mean
