I want a continuation to the previous ask.

If MC listens to the request to be less aggressive in protecting RO from other people. MC allow them to communicate freely with others, but if RO looks at MC, they will see that over time MC began to look terribly sick, pale and sluggish. And their whole appearance radiates suffering.

All of the ROs would be concerned about the MC— mainly because them simply talking to another person, talking freely (in a platonic sense), caused such a reaction from you. They’d sit you down and have a deep talk with you, because there’s obviously something severely wrong.

Prodigal is an up-and-coming Murder Mystery IF that depicts a tale of deceit, latent pain, and a hidden past that could either heal or completely destroy.

The Reaper— it’s a name that’s haunted you for a little over two decades now. One of the most infamous serial killers of the 20th Century, in New York City. Killing over 25 people, most believing the final tally is much more, and not getting caught until one fateful day. When you were the reason behind his arrest.

The Reaper— the boogeyman made flesh.

The Reaper— the man that made New York City hold its breath until his arrest.

The Reaper— your father.

You’ve tried getting past it, fighting through the darkness that always seems to follow you, and for the last few years you’ve been fairly successful; working for the FBI giving you just the distraction you needed. Being one of their top profilers, as you found it easy to get into the mind of a killer, you even started to believe that your past would stop haunting you.

Until you were fired for misconduct and you found yourself back in New York City, back where it all happened. Will you finally be able to find peace? Especially when you begin to work with the Major Crimes Unit of the NYPD?

Or was the boogeyman just waiting all this time to finally strike?

Ross/Rose Garner

Between Detective Bishop and Detective Garner, the latter is much more open to working with you than the former. With an open smile, that's only slightly tinged by weariness, they're willing to give you a chance and see where that takes them. Offering an olive branch, a helping hand, whenever you could use one. Will you be able to offer them something else in return?

Appearance: Detective Garner stands at a solid 5'10" with sharp blue eyes. Slightly curly, raven black hair complements their olive complexion, mixed with a light brown hue. They have a lithe body type.

Daniel/Danielle Bishop

Detective Bishop isn't as open to you joining the Major Crimes Unit as a Consultant-- not because of any inherent dislike of you, though that may be there somewhere, but for the simple reason of not being as trusting as their partner and boss. Will you be able to crack through their defenses? To the person that's willing to quip an amused one-liner, or crack open a cold beer and hang out? Or will they forever remain a mystery to you?

Appearance: Detective Bishop stands at around 6'2" with closed-off gray eyes. Brown hair, with bits of golden highlights strewn throughout, brings out the fair complexion of their skin. They have an athletic body from years as an athlete beforehand.

Ethan/Emily Yang

The mortician that helps the Major Crimes Unit with every case that comes their way. With an almost innocent quality about them, despite being surrounded by death on a daily basis, they couldn't help but be fascinated by you and your knowledge. Will you only ever share your scientific thoughts with them, and a joke or two, or will something else evolve as you continue to grow ever closer?

Appearance: Doctor Yang stands at a whopping height of 5'7" with intelligently kind brown eyes. Ebony black hairs brings out the porcelain hue of their skin. Along with the delicately slender quality of their body, Doctor Yang is surely a sight to behold.

Caleb/Carina Sinclair

Your old partner in the FBI-- a person that took their job seriously, but you never believed that they'd leave you behind too. Their walls of ice, of stoicism and vast professionalism, had always fallen away for you and only you. They never looked at you like you were something broken because of your past. Will you ever find out the reason they left you behind? Or is it a case, a mystery, you're just never meant to solve?

Appearance: Special Agent Sinclair stands at a striking 6'5" with piercing green eyes-- the likes you've never seen before. Wavy, blonde hair complements the lightly tanned quality of their skin. Their muscular build, from hours spent training, barely being hidden by the standard issued suit for a Federal Agent.

Angst! Ros reaction if the mc told them they wished they never met them

Peter Pan: The words hit Peter like daggers through his very soul, a playful response withering on his tongue before it had the chance to become reality. Dark brown eyes gazing at you with an expression of open shock; he couldn’t find any words, and expression, that could possibly showcase the agony that was currently leeching into his heart. Instead, Peter simply stares, no warmth, no humor, present within his countenance, before he takes off. Disappearing into the Never Land sky— trying to out fly his heartbreak on land.

James/Jasmine: The words cause ice to the run through their veins. Embarrassment quickly coming to the forefront of their mind— how could they be so foolish? How could they have let their guard down around you? “You do?” Their words are painfully quiet, the calm before the storm. “Then why are you still here?” Ice blue eyes perfectly mirror the coldness that was beginning to grip their heart as they stare at you. “Leave.”

Tinkerbell: Tears come unbidden to Tink’s eyes immediately— sapphire blue shimmering like precious gems because of them. She couldn’t believe that you’d ever say something so hurtful to her; not when she treasured all the moments that she had with you. Was it all a lie? Did she place too much hope in someone once more? Was she so foolish that she let this happen again? Turning from you, so you didn’t see the true devastation that you had caused, Tink wraps her arms around herself. “Then, I think it’d be best if you left.”

Lyra: A multitude of emotions flits across her face at your acidic words; the green depths of her eyes darkening like the tumultuous sea overtime. How could you say such a thing to her? After everything you’ve both been through together? “Then why are you still here, huh?” Anger was easier to handle. The bitter tang, the fire brewing within her stomach, was easier to get lost in. Not the agonized hollowness, the howling pain, that was her heart— even if she knows it’ll rear it’s ugly head when she was alone.

Hunter: He doesn’t give you time to continue, doesn’t give you a moment that you could take back your words, Hunter simply turns his back on you and walks away. Fists clenched at his sides, to keep them from shaking, Hunter tries his best not to let his own pain become too overpowering; tries to persevere like he has done for so long already. Even as each step away from you is like an arrow to his heart; Hunter doesn’t pause, he doesn’t stop. He was giving you what you wanted after all.

Ro's reaction to MC being too obsessed with them. Are they very jealous, very aggressive (or tacitly threatening) towards those who want to get to know their partner (in a romantic sense)?

Peter Pan: Would gently, yet firmly, tell the MC that what they’re doing isn’t okay. He doesn’t love you any less, but interacting with people, getting to know them, is something he loves to do. Why would you want to take that from him when you claim to love him so? He wants to protect you too, but he’d never stand in the way of you making friends.

James/Jasmine: They’d find it amusing, at first. Seeing you come to their defense, at some proverbial slight, would be endearing, but as it would continue they would begin to grow concerned. It’s not that they don’t understand the impulse, but there’s a time and a place (and specific people) where it’s applicable. They’d eventually speak to the MC about it, and tell you that you’d need to stop. At least with the level that you were currently doing it.

Tinkerbell: She’d get very flustered very quickly. Tink doesn’t interact with a variety of people as it is, but she’d never turn someone away that wished to speak with her. She’d try to delicately broach the subject with you, but would probably end up getting angry herself if you continued to be pigheaded.

Lyra: Understands, with perfect clarity, what being jealous does to a person; mermaids are very possessive creatures after all. She doesn’t want you to be unhealthily obsessed with her, as that’s a problem in itself, but she doesn’t mind you staking your claim every now and then. She’d eventually put her foot down if it persisted.

Hunter: He’d simply speak with you gently about your behavior; how it wasn’t acceptable in the slightest and he doesn’t appreciate it. He doesn’t do it to you, and he expects the same level of trust and decency in return.

Evallon University, a place many believe to be more myth than real, is one that few have ever been privileged to see; at least where you’re from. However, it’s prominence over all within the world is known. Any who graduate with it’s seal are destined to have any job that they desire.

Of course, only the strongest are able to do so.

You never imagined that you’d be accepted into the ancient halls. Never anticipated that your fool hardy sisters plan would actually come to fruition; after all you just expected them to take one look at your application and scoff.

All of that changes on the eve of your eighteenth birthday when there’s a knock at the door.

Arthur Drake [M] — The Golden Boy

Son of the Dean, Arthur Drake is known far and wide across the campus of Evallon. Though, one would expect Arthur to be stuck up, like a classic popular kid, but he’s one of the most down to Earth people you’ll ever have the privilege to meet. With a gentle smile, a golden heart, and keen wish to see everyone do well, it’s no wonder that so much people on campus adore him.

Appearance: Arthur stands at around 6’5” with ice blue eyes and sun kiss skin. His golden hair, almost like the sun itself, falls to just beneath his ears. Despite his boyish smile, the chiseled features of his face depict that of a warrior that won’t stand down to anyone if he believes strong enough. He has a muscular physique that makes him imposing (if it wasn’t for his tendency to smile and laugh).

Lance Reed [M] — The Best Friend

You’re not sure what to make of Lance, or Lancelot, Reed. All you have heard about him are tales of how he hurt his best friend, Arthur. You aren’t sure if the rumors are entirely accurate— after all you could still see the adoration Lance had for him— but the way in which Arthur avoids him gives some credence to them. Will you be able to crack through the shell that Lance has put up around himself?

Appearance: Lancelot stands at around 6’1” with impassive hazel eyes. Onyx black curls, that fall across his forehead haphazardly, pair well with the warm brown tone of his skin. His athletic physique is usually hidden behind various layers of clothing; as if he doesn’t wish to be seen.

Guinevere Prince [F] — The Queen

Even after her fallout with Arthur, again mere rumors give the reason why, Guinevere still remained on top. Of course, it could very well be because of her beauty and the elegance that seemed to exude from her. You aren’t quite sure what to make of Guinevere, but you can tell that not everything is as what it seems. After all, that seems to be the common theme within Evallon.

Appearance: Guinevere stands at around 5’6” with slate gray eyes. Golden brown hair falls to the middle of her back in soft curls, which pairs nicely with the light bronze tone of her skin. Her slender body, usually housed within ensembles of designer clothing, exudes a type of strength you’ve never seen before.

Morgana Lafayette [F] — The Enigma

A recent newcomer to Evallon, like you, Morgana certainly doesn’t seem to be a novice in anything. Not with the way she holds herself and definitely not in how she interacts with the world around her. You aren’t sure what to make of her. With the only concrete information you have being that she’s related to Arthur somehow. Will you be able to uncover what lays beneath her walls of ice and snark?

Appearance: Morgana stands at around 5’11” with cunning forest green eyes. Raven black hair falls to her hips in a cascade of waves, which pairs well with the fairness of her skin. Being able to give Guinevere a run for her money in terms of looks, Morgana doesn’t seem to care all that much about them. Her lean body being encased in whatever she finds most comfortable.

The story takes place within Iyrus, a fictional empire that’s been inspired by the works of other great fantasy nations. 

Your character was born within the prosperous borders of Iyrus, at least you believe you were, and it’s a place where magic is as common as swordplay. Within this land, anyone can prosper as long as they’re willing to make the proper sacrifices. 

𓄿 STORY

With a past that’s muddled, almost non-existent, your character finds themselves in a search for who they used to be. With only flashes of memories, that truly only come at night, it’s a task that almost seems impossible. All you do know? You have to find The Āeksion, known as the Honor Guard in the common tongue, the fabled heroes of all of Iyrus. The problem? No one has seen them in over four years.

Will you be able to uncover your past while you fight for your future?

𓄿 CHARACTER CREATION

At the beginning of Flight of the Raven, you’ll have the opportunity to customize your character’s name, gender, sexual orientation, and some basic facets of who they are. You will also be able to customize your hair color, hair texture, hair length, eye color, skin color, and height.

For the personality, there are multiple characteristics that can be obtained to help shape who your character is as a person within the world of Iyrus. Depending on which get locked in on, further along in the game, they could very well shift how your character reacts within scenes later on. Please be aware that some portions of the personality of the character are set in stone, i.e. this isn’t a villain origin story.

How does your character treat people in service jobs?

Hook tends to not really interact with merchants and whoever else, Smee mainly does that, but when they do have to interact? They’re polite, if a bit curt because they wish to leave, but they make sure not to make the sellers life a living hell as there’s no need for that.

Has your character ever had a dependent figure who was not related to them?

I don’t particularly know if this is referring to a child or someone just depending on Hook, but for the former Hook did take in one of the Lost Boys for a while but they rarely ever talk about it. As for the latter? I would definitely say Smee depends on Hook just as Hook depends on him.

What do you do when you start to fall in love with someone you shouldn’t?

Being a divorce lawyer in Hollywood, you’d think that you would have seen it all. After all, you have covered some of the biggest divorces in the last decade. From the multi-million dollar dynasty that was the Mercier Family to the scandal that surrounded the affair of Trevor and Jaime Reynolds.

You’ve truly seen it all, even with the ever changing entity that was Hollywood. But, through all of that, you maintained your one golden rule: never get involved with clients.

To fall in love with a client would end with disastrous results that could destroy the very business you’ve strived to grow. It’s something you’d never even think about doing.

Until the Blackwood Family entered your life.

Customizable MC: name, nickname, appearance, sexuality, gender (male, female, and non-binary), hobbies, some decorations within your house, and portions of your past.

There will be 4 ROs within the game. From the Patriarch and Matriarch of the Blackwood Family to your business partner and the bodyguard. (Gabriel and Anastasia Blackwood are inspired by Gomez and Morticia Addams.)

Can you fight the connection you feel with one, or both, of the Blackwood’s? Or is it just a futile attempt to stop fate? (Yes, there will be a LT with them… if you decide to do so.)

Or will you be able to go down the safer routes of your business partner or the loyal bodyguard.

This game is meant to be a fun adventure for you all. It will have angsty moments, but it’s not meant to be a super dark story. It is rated 18+ though.

Gabriel Blackwood [M]

One of the biggest names when it comes to the business world; Gabriel Blackwood, while oddly eccentric, is known far and wide for his generosity when it comes to his vast fortune. It’s for this very reason that you’re not surprised that he’s more than willing to give his soon-to-be ex-wife almost half of his estate. He’s not one you could ever pin down into one category, but you know your time with him going forward will be more than interesting.

Anastasia Blackwood [F]

A soft spoken woman that’s rarely ever had to raise her voice to be heard. After all, many who share the same room with her have a hard time shifting their focus to anyone else. Having made a name for herself within Hollywood on the silver screen, from quite a young age, Anastasia has been taking a break from the hectic day-to-day life of being an A-List Actress. Now that her pending divorce has become public, and the paparazzi have come flocking in once more, Anastasia’s cool stoicism has never been harder to penetrate. Will you be able to soothe her wounded heart?

Peyton Lewis [M/F]

Your business partner and closest friend within the world. Having them by your side, in all of their flirtatious glory, has always been like a safe haven for you after a tiring day. You know that all you would have to do is walk across the hall and into their office; where they’d stop whatever they were doing to make sure you were okay. With everything that’s going on, with yourself and the Blackwood Family, you’re going to need them now more than ever. And maybe along the way you’ll discover something that’s always been there.

Morgan Reese [M/F]

The Head of Security for the Blackwood Estate. They’re a person that sticks by you whenever you visit to make sure that everything goes smoothly. Though you also think it’s because they don’t trust you at all. You don’t know the story behind their relationship with the Blackwood Family, but you can definitely see that it’s caused them to be unwaveringly loyal. Maybe, given time, you’ll get a glimpse at that loyalty as you learn more about them.
