Nothing but a hyena's grin on my face that threatens to combust into sparks of laughter, held frozen, a viral spat of morbidity that shames me to the brink. Upon the news of passing, how sane is it to react in such a way?

A close friend, someone who might've been a trusted ally, a sibling at arms, gone far too soon, and I sit here not knowing how to react.

It is almost darkly comedic, how unexpectedly it happened, as if some morbid prank orchestrated by some outside figure.

and the weight of the feather sinks the ship, my words of reconciliation now eponymous, and I will only hope that you will smile, in that better place, the place where all is forgiven and refreshed, free from all pain and grief.

I don't know how to compose myself together, but how criminal it is, that my soul behaves as though it is the wind in an icy chamber....how criminal it is.....to wish to feel that warranted grief, only to be fooled by a shadow of yourself.

Batman being aggressively secretive towards the Justice League is one of my favorite tropes, but it gets INFINITELY funnier when you take the younger generations of heroes into consideration.

Barry Allen? He doesn't know shit about Batman, still partially convinced he's not human, still a little bit scared to talk to him. But Wally West? That's Nightwing's best friend. He's been around Dick since both of them were kids. He's had sleepovers at the manor since he was thirteen.

I just think it would be hilarious if all of the younger generations 100% know that Batman is Bruce Wayne. They've slept at the manor, some of them have taken various Batkids to school dances, they've been offered Alfred's cooking. And all because they've gotten close to at least one Batkid and said Batkid wore Bruce down until he let them reveal their identity. But all of them manage to keep this information from their mentors. Either purposefully or completely on accident.

Then you end up with a situation where the younger generations grow up and join the League and the older members Very Quickly realize that they seem a lot more comfortable with Batman than they should be.

No composure or meticulous gathering of irrelevant evidence to batter even the harshest of court cases.

Hardly a man if his portrait is composed of immaterial outtakes that does no service to him, the progenitors and their disrespect, it jolts my bones with a toxic spark that reanimates me to the moment, and when I look back all I see is a cliff over a bed of endless white.

Why..just why....to not look back, I carry the most exotic trait of positivity and I am done a dismal disservice, my aloofness is not unnoticed, and yet without reason I will have no opposition to submission aside from raw, happily ignored feelings of rage and mistrust.

I must etch it here and now, the disrespect upon men with dreams. The lack of belief, and the propaganda that negates all understanding and fact.

Change can be a poetic thing. Poetic....that word alone needs time to be studied....a strange occurrence happens, be it the arrival or exit of a particular person, but with that comes change, either by or against our will..

The people around you, can represent yourself at stages in your life, to remind you of how far you've progressed or regressed, with their presence comes the masking of coincidence as something as a symbolic change, a stylistic or ideological transition into a new man.

But after a certain point, past and present catch up to build a new future, and you carry the traits that you miss and the traits that you enjoy, and become more complete than before.
