I’m working on tomorrows update for Blooming tension. And just kind of blankly staring at the panel I’m drawing. And it occurs to me, my art style legitimately sucks. Not even in a self deprecating way. Just in a purely I can look and be honest with myself way.

it’s kind of thrown me off, I’m not even sure what to do.

putting so much time and effort into something and realising it’s bad. It’s a little depressing lol. Maybe I just need to completely scrap how I do things. I really thought I was getting better, I thought I was seeing improvement with my art. And then I have moments of clarity like this and just don’t even know what to do.

It’s funny, every birthday for Rowan at night I get so sad.

once he’s in bed for the night, I worry that I didn’t do enough. That he didn’t have the best day, that I didn’t tell him how much I love him and how amazing he is enough. That I was too distracted. That and the reality that my tiny baby boy is growing up. He is already 7, I just love him so much. I want him to keep thriving and growing, learning and experiencing everything the world has to offer him. But it’s so scary to see how quickly time is slipping away. I don’t have any kind of plan here, I’m just trying to be the best parent for him I can be. To make sure he knows how loved he is, and how amazing he is, be his biggest cheerleader. But I don’t know if it’s enough. I’ve never loved anyone so fiercely before, he really means the world to me, and I just hope every single day he knows that.
